Magnolia huffed with a glare. While she never truly minded the spotlight on her…this was not ideal. How was any of this normal?!
"Hey bots! Meet Magnolia, my cousin!"
The woman shuddered at she saw sights land on her. Already being decently short and having GIANT MONSTER ROBOTS stare down at her was an experience straight out of a nightmare.
Lennox noticed his cousin shrink then walked over to her and placed an arm around her delicate shoulder.
"Alright Mag, you already met our head honcho Optimus, there's Prowl our intelligence officer. Now here's our Med mech who needs no introduction.
Next to Prowl a slightly hunched red and white robot with...vital signs traced up with arm? Was this thing in the medical field? It-or he? Hard to tell. Dude didn't do anything for her. Lex told her she was fixed up by a human medic. Whatever, he was one of the first ones to make contact with her when she woke up. Ratchet, that was his name.
Ha poor thing was named Ratchet. Ha!
Magnolia slightly smiled at that connection but upon reaching the next robot monster, her smile instantly fell. It was a massive, green one that made the attractive woman take two steps back. His sheer size was enough to probably topple a metal building with a few punches. What the hell?!
"Bulkhead, our pure bot power!"
Her staring must have caught it's attention because blue illuminated bulb eyes turned to look at her. Beginning to shake, Magnolia was prepared to jump behind her witless cousin. However, upon seeing a massive metal hand raise up and move side to side she froze. That was a gesture she knew all too well. Was that thing waving? Holy shit.
The woman looked back to his face and noticed it's mouth had shifted into a smile. Good fucking god!
Shocked by it's action, Magnolia slowly smiled back and give a half wave. This seemed to please the monstrosity so much so that he began to...approach her?! Oh no no no no no.
The heavy thud of one metallic foot moving seemed to lightly shake the ground. Hazel eyes glanced over at Lennox (who was still talking mind you). Fool didn't even notice the giant green robot coming straight for them?!
"Uh cuz..."
It was getting closer.
"Yeah, Lex my dude."
Ok, were the other monsters not going to stop it?
"It's getting closer. Like, really close."
Oh, she was going to kill that dodo stain.
"Bruh..."
Turning to glare at Lennox, Magnolia raised her fist to deliver a strike to the back of his head but a shadow casting over them made her pause.
Fuck.
Don't panic Mag, I mean if they really had wanted to harm any of them then it would have happened already. Right? They didn't do anything earlier so there was an 87% chance nothing would happen this time.
Fuck.
"Hey there, I'm Bulkhead."
Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.
Finally opening her tightly shut eyes, Magnolia noticed braindead William finally staring back at her with a raised brow. He looked amused and by joe, it made her want to punch his lights out.
"Mag, it's rude to ignore someone when they are talking to you."
"You little rotten-."
"Sorry about her Bulkhead. My cousin has the looks but not the brain power upstairs."
"Oh, is she sick?"
"Heh you could say that. Good thing she's hella gorgeous because otherwise there- OUCH!"
Lennox jumped up in pain when Magnolia held a death pinch on his ear while harshly pulling it. She may be scared but there is no way she was going to allow that lying fool to talk down about her. Pffft he has the audacity to call her stupid?
"Lex, I would advise you to keep your mouth quiet. The only idiot among us is you!"
"Okay, alright! Sorry sorry!"
Satisfied with his apology, Magnolia released him before slowly turning back to the green robot. He was intimidating for sure but with pointless standing here calmly, it made her feel more at ease.
"I ahem apologize. This is very overwhelming and I'm in a bit of shock. I am not sick nor am I stupid. That illustrious title belongs to my cousin."
"Really Mag?"
"It is very nice to meet you Bulkhead, I am Magnolia."
She watched the tips of his metallic mouth raise into a smile, making her mentally grin. Maybe they weren't going to kill her after all.
However, she was definitely going to kill Will.
"You are such a jerk cuz."
Magnolia evilly smirked as she raised her hands toward his ear again. The man screeched and ran behind Bulkhead's ped, making the mech laugh.
"What's wrong Lexy? You haven't finished introducing me to the others."
"I'll do it from here you crazy broad!"
Quickly, Lennox pointed to Jazz and Bumblebee before ducking away from her hazel glare.
"Jazz second in command and scout Bumblebee! They saved your ugly duckling butt."
Really now?
Magnolia boldly walked closer to the two and looked up at Bumblebee and Jazz. Their designs were pretty cool! Kinda understanding where the name Bumblebee came from though. Black and yellow.
"So, you are the ones who saved me."
Jazz was the first to step forward and bend down so that he may better see her. The way she rocked on her heels was absolutely adorable!
"Ah it was nothin' lil lady! Pleasure was all ours, trust me."
The second in command waved his partner over to which he happily stepped up. He gave several whirls, beeps and boops but upon seeing confusion on her face, the mech resorted to playing lines from songs. Best way to communicate with humans.
'What can I say except, "You're Welcome"!'

"Wait, he communicates-"
"Through the radio? Yeah. My boy has some 'throat' problems that doesn't allow him to speak normally."
He had a disability! The poor thing. Normally, she would ask why it simply cannot be fixed because they are robots and all buuuuut that may come out to be offensive. After all, these were alien robots that clearly operated differently than any tech here on Earth.
"I understand. I thank you both for your heroic rescue! I am not sure what would have become of me if you had not shown up. I am truly grateful!"
Bumblebee whirled at her praise to which Ratchet simply rolled his optics. Young bots were ridiculous.
"And thank you Mister Prime for allowing me to stay here and I promise, I will be no inconvenience to you or your team."
Optimus simply nodded at the woman before allowing a small smile to appear. "No need to thank us Magnolia. We happy to protect any being in need. You are most welcome here."
"See cuz? No problem at all! Let's head back to my quarters and I'll get some pals to bring your stuff here."
"Right."
Magnolia bowed before turning to walk away from the staring Autobots. Once they reached the hall, her posture fell, and the clear fear had come back. Putting on that front was difficult. Thankfully being on stage for a living allowed her to hide her emotions well.
"You did pretty good Mag."
"Did I? Oh man that was horrible! I really am grateful but just wanna avoid them Lex."
"Unlike you, they are really chill. Especially Jazz! You'll be alright."
"Says you."
The man stopped his walk, an annoyed expression on his face. "You really think I'd leave you with others who'd cause ya harm? Come on cuz…"
She knew he wouldn't. Honestly, as much as they throw insults at each other, both deeply cared for one another. Lex was always there for her and vise versa.
"Look, I got just the thing that will help you relax!"
"And what is that?"
"Weeeeeeeeeeed."
Placing both hands on her hips, Magnolia took a moment to gather her thoughts. So wait …
"What the? I thought you quit?"
"Don't be stupid! Anyway, I have Apples & Bananas, Cali Berry, Cassis, Horchata, Maqui, Moonbow, and Prickly Bear."
"No YaHemi brownies?"
"Epps took the last one."
"Damn. I'll take Cali Berry then."
"Decent choice, let's get in the room before Ratchet finds out!"
"It's moments like this that make me love you!"
"And afterwards, we are going to my place for dinner. Gonna have the munchies after this!"
The two laughed and raced off towards Will's room for a much needed high.
FYI, I do not smoke weed, I just thought it would be a funny little 'past time' these two clowns did together. I literally Googled all those random weed names O_o
