Chapter 6: The Heavenly Flower Afternoon
After the little incident at Moxxie Rabbit's house, Moxxie Rabbit continues to run through the odd land to get to wherever he needs to do. And having been shrunk to at least three to four inches high, Blitz continues to chase after Moxxie Rabbit. However, Moxxie Rabbit is big and too fast for Blitz to keep up.
Blitz goes through the tall grass as he calls out, "Wait, Moxxie! Come on, Moxxie! Slow down!"
Blitz pushes the tall grass and since he is small, it's rather difficult. He then pushes a leaf out of the way as glowing white and gold butterflies fly past them.
"Fuck, I'm never going to catch Moxxie while I'm this small. It's going to take forever," Blitz says.
Soon, more gold butterflies fly around and land on the large leaves around the area.
"Fuck. This place is very bright. It's like the largest nightlight," Blitz says, looking at the butterflies.
"Those are Holy Butterflies," Someone says.
"Holy butter…" Blitz says, confused, but comes to a stop.
He hears a voice and has no clue who speaks. He soon notices a lot of different glowing flowers of different colors.
"Huh, who the fuck said that?" Blitz wonders.
Suddenly, another voice says and it sounds like a girl, "You shouldn't speak with that kind of talk. It will be very inappropriate."
"Uh, riiiight…?" Blitz says, confused.
Then wonders, "But who are you? Where are you? Who is talking to me?"
He looks at the flowers and notices that some of them have faces.
He says, skeptically, "Either I'm crazy, or did the flower just talk. Now that has to be crazy, flowers don't really talk."
Then thinks to himself, "Then again, I've seen a few sinners that look like flowers or plants when they became demons, and some of my clients look like plants."
Just then, a flower that seems like a white rose that has with white ginger color on the top, there is also a white glowing halo on it, and purple colored eyes, and there are stems close to the rose.
Soon, the flower begins to move and says, "Well howdy, I'm Cletus Rose, welcome to Heavenly Garden. It's a lovely garden where good things are sure to happen."
"Uh yeah, good things huh," Blitz says, feeling a little uneasy.
The reason why is because the rose actually looks like one of the Cherubs that he and his employees have gotten into a fight with.
Just then, a bright glowing yellow daisy with a light yellow halo happily says, "And we also give those who come to the garden good blessings and warmth, and help others feel so fulfilled."
"I see," Blitz says, having his arms crossed and rolling his eyes.
Then asks, "And who are you supposed to be?"
"I'm Keenie Daisy. It's a pleasure to meet you," The yellow flower says.
Then a periwinkle cosmo flower with a white halo nervously says, "We help those who feel lost and need some place to go. A-and I-I'm Collsmo."
"Uh sure. I can actually use some help. You wouldn't happen to see Moxxie Rabbit, huh?" Blit replies, trying to remain calm.
"Hmm," The three flowers reply, thinking.
Then Collsmo says, "I-I think we did see him. He just jumped over and ran in that direction."
"Yeah. He is probably heading towards the castle," Keenie Daisy happily says.
"And it's a rare thing to be heading to the castle," Cletus Rose happily replies.
"I see. Listen, I really should be going. Thanks for the directions and…" Blitz says and begins to walk away.
Suddenly, a vine grabs Blitz's by the waist and pulls him up.
Blitz struggles as he shouts, "Hey, let me go!"
Cletus Rose leans to him and says, "Don't worry, there is still plenty of time for you to find him."
"I need to find Moxxie and find Millie, but first, I want to get out of this creepy hell hold," Blitz sternly says.
"The garden isn't creepy, it's very pretty and is full of warmth, kindness, and fulfillment," Keenie Rose happily says.
"Uh, yeah. As much as I love to stay here and see the sights and talk to you weird ass flowers, but I'm in a bit of a hurry," Blitz says.
"Come on, don't talk in such bad language. We want you to stay so we can show you the gardens," Collsmo says.
Blitz groans as the vine places Blitz's down.
Keenie Daisy happily asks, "By the way, what kind of garden did you come from?"
"I'm not from any garden," Blitz answers.
"Are you a wildflower?" Keenie Daisy asks.
Blitz shakes his head, "No. I'm not a wildflower."
"So then, what kind of flower or a kind of genus are you?" Cletus Rose asks.
"My name is Blitz. I'm not some kind of genus anyway," Blitz says.
Keenie Daisy giggles and turns to Collsmo, "Ever seen a Blitz with a blossom like that?"
"I-I don't think so. Then again, I never even Blitz either," Collsmo says.
Keenie Daisy leans to Blitz and touches his horns, "I've never seen these odd looking petals. They're so curvy, and they have stripes. Black and white seems odd for a flower."
"And he does have strange white patterns with red as well," Collsmo adds.
Cletus Rose then pulls his tail, "And look at this vine, it has a funny pointy end. Is it a thorn?"
Blitz takes his tail away in anger, "No! It's not a vine! That's my tail!"
"And look at those stems," Keenie Daisy says, looking at his legs.
Collsmo says, "They look very odd and have pointy ends."
"Those are my legs. I'm not a flower to you!" Blitz says.
"You're not?!" The flowers say, confused.
Collsmo asks, "Then what are you?"
"Like it fuckin matters. I need to get going. Good luck with your overground nightlight you pack of weeds," Blitz says, and walks away.
Blitz continues to walk away, unaware that the Cherub Flowers are not pleased that it looks like their petals are about to turn red. Before Blitz can walk further, a gold color thorn lands on the ground in front of him.
He panics, "Shit!"
Blitz turns around to see the Cherub Flowers are very angry and they all end up with gold thorns on their stems. Blitz is starting to get nervous as he turns to see many of the flowers from the garden have turned red and their stems have thorns.
Blitz gulps nervously, "Uh, I guess you're pretty fuckin steamed about the weed commit."
"Maybe we can calm down and, well, discuss this," Blitz nervously says, stepping back.
Just then, Cletus Rose throws a thorn at Blitz, making him panic and fall back, and the thorn lands in front of him.
"Holy shit!" Blitz panics.
He then scurries up and runs away in fright. The flowers continue to throw thorns at Blitz. Blitz quickly dodges the thorns as they come closer and faster. Finally, Blitz is able to get out of the garden as he falls down to the ground.
Blitz stands up and is practically steamed, "If that you fuckin weed whackers feel about this! If I were my right size, I'd be able to stomp your sorry asses like bugs!"
Unknown to Blitz, the three Cherub flowers find a large leaf that has water on it.
Blitz begins to walk away, "Maybe that will teach you sorry grass some…"
Before he can finish, the Cherub flowers pour the water on Blitz and is swept away. Blitz ends up being carried away by a leaf as the Cherub Flowers laugh with evil grins on their faces. The Imp continues to be swept away on the leaf by the water that's been poured on them. Soon enough, the leaf has bumped into a large stem and Blitz is able to climb out. The Imp continues coughing out the water from his mouth.
He wrings out his coat as he says, "Those stupid, fuckin, pompus, pathetic, govergrown weeds…"
He sighs and says, "I just wish I was able to grow my original size so I wouldn't have to deal with that again."
With that, Blitz begins to walk while he is trying to get dry from the cold water. He continues to walk through the forest that looks like a huge world.
