Standing there adorning his own ascended 'form' (more like a mode if you asked him), Naruto was ready to face these two with his own terrifying new powers, but he wouldn't be alone to do it. Crashing down to the ground with him came three giant toads. He called for their aid before against Pain and would need them again now.
They crashed onto the ground with such weight that the earth shook as if from a mighty blow from Goku himself. The three large figures overlooked the area. The giant toad on the right was aquamarine in color with two large katanas poking out over his back. The one opposite him was dark red and fitted in a black robe. He bore a round shield in one hand and a sasumata in the other.
Naruto stood on the head of the one in the center; the largest of them all towered over the entire forest. Covered in warts with a scar along his left eye. He wore a fitting robe as Chief of the toads. One hand rested on the hilt of his blade as the other wrapped around his pipe.
"So" Gamabunta took in a big breath and then exhaled smoke effectively covering the battlefield "This is who the Great Toad Sage told you of eh Naruto?" his eye rolled up to the boy perched on his head. Now adorning a long red robe and eyes to match the toads with orange underneath them.
"Yeah." Naruto nodded as he glared at Ichigo and Goku beneath him.
"Well, he told us as well." the Chief toad agreed "So we know what we're in for."
"I've fought them long enough. They're strong alright." Naruto told.
"Then what are we waiting for?" Gamabunta asked. Beside him Gamahiro brought out both his swords as Gamaken banging his sasumata against his shield leading to a loud clang.
The three giant beings leapt forward, their shadows overtaking the already destroyed forest and the two small opponents beneath them.
"Are you kidding me?!" Ichigo let out in disbelief.
"Neat!" Goku exclaimed as he went and began duking it out with Gamabunta. He swung a fist forward but the chief toad braced himself bringing both of his fists up to take the brunt of the blow. He then brought an arm back and swatted Goku as if he were a fly. Goku brought a forearm up to block the massive attack.
"A lively one eh?!" Gamabunta let out. Extending his long leg he hurled it down on to top of Goku sending him rocketing to the ground. At that moment Naruto jumped off of his head and on top of Gamaken's.
The other toads went to Ichigo brandishing their weapons against his. Hovering below them, he dashed forward dodging both of their attacks and headed straight for Naruto who came with them. Ichigo came at Naruto swinging his sword at him. Reaching his hands out Naruto grabbed ahold of the much slimmer blade and swung Ichigo around into the air where he was instantly set upon by another toad.
Slamming his weapon into him, Gamaken hit Ichigo down into the ground. He landed hard onto it. Gamaken slammed his sasumata down onto again beating him into the ground and turning him to a bloody smear.
Naruto was attacked just as soon as he was rid of Ichigo. Pivoting around on his heels, he saw a Super Saiyan Goku swinging a fist at him. Lunging forward to do the same they ended up grabbing each other's fists and struggling in place. Grunting and locked against the other they remained in place, not taking notice of a jagged shadow overtaking them until something came falling down on top of them.
Then coming down from above came a sword as large as a building. Naruto released Goku and jumped back as Gamabunta swung the sword down on top of him. The giant sword came swinging down from the sky, but Goku reached his arms up to grab it. Grabbing ahold of the giant blade, he managed to stop it's descent onto him.
"Hm?" the Gamabunta groaned as he peered down to see the tiny dot that was Goku holding back his sword. "Little whelp." he gargled as he reached a free hand out to smash him. Goku, pushing the blade away flew up and over the oncoming swipe. He then flew up to Gamabunta's large head with his fist rearing up for a punch.
His fist plunged forward hitting the old toad in the face and sending him back tumbling through the forest. A confident little grin grew in Goku's face. Gamabunta got up and shook himself off, discarding the full grown trees on his body. Goku eyed him, waiting to see what he would do next. He was ready to charge him, and would have if Ichigo had not come crashing down from above onto his head with the pommel of his black sword and sent him plummeting back down to the ground below. Looking over, he saw Naruto with Gamahiro charging at him. Turning in the air and swinging his sword as he did, he unleashed another Getsuga Tensho at him. A black wave tore through the sky at his two charging opponents. Suddenly Gamaken jumped down in front of them with his shield raised to defend them from the black. Even though he managed to do so, he was knocked back by the power of the blast getting blow past Naruto and into Gamahiro. Taken cover and unaffected Naruto sprung out towards Ichigo.
Ichigo jabbed at Naruto with his sword. Naruto jumped left to dodge as the sword scratched him across the cheek. Blood began to flow down his cheek. Lunging forward with a punch Ichigo sidestepped him. Springing up with a kick from the side Naruto hit connected hitting him across the face. Landing on the ground, Ichigo rebounded with a slash from his sword that Naruto jumped away from. Ichigo lunged the sword forward to press his attack as Naruto pulled out a kunai knife.
Bent over, Naruto jumped up and dove down, driving his kunai deep down into Ichigo's shoulder blade. Ichigo let out a cry before slashing his sword out at Naruto cutting open his chest. Naruto stumbled back as blood began to flow freely mixing in with already red sage robe. Wiping his chest Naruto charged at Ichigo who flew up to dodge his attack and reveal another opponent. Goku was charging Ichigo from behind and now was heading straight towards Naruto. He jabbed out and hit him in the face with one fist and with even looking reached up to grab at Ichigo's ankle with his other. With a firm hold on him, he swung him down and on top of Naruto crashing them both into the ground.
Letting go of Ichigo Goku snapped his hands to his sides and a bright blue blast of energy started to form between his hands. Shining brightly around him, the light broke through the darkness of the overcast sky.
"Kahmeh" he started. Naruto's eyes bugged open as he gazed over Ichigo's shoulder at what was about to happen. Raising his arms, he pushed Ichigo off of him and sending him up towards Goku; successfully knocking into him and breaking his concentration on the blast. Then Naruto sprung up with a kunai and prepared to drive it into both of them. Ichigo however managed to dive out of the way and Naruto plunged it into Goku's stomach. Blood dripped from the wound onto the blade and Naruto's hand holding it and Goku let out a fierce guttural cry. Bringing his hands together, he slammed them down onto Naruto sending him to his knees before bringing his knee forward into his face knocking him on his back, blood flying off his face as he fell. Pulling the kunai out with one hand Goku raised his other and it brightened with a bright yellow blast behind held in his palm. He was about to throw it at him before Naruto jumped up and kicked him in the face knocking him back a few steps.
"Getsuga Tesho!" Ichigo's voice shouted from Naruto's left side and he looked over to Ichigo slashing his sword at him. He was so close with no room to move that Naruto and Goku soon became enveloped in the black blast. It overtook them, carrying both away leading to an explosion in the trees. With them taken care of Ichigo remained where he was breathing deeply and wounded already from this new enhanced fighting.
Surging out from the forest game a torrent of wind. Ichigo turned towards it and saw one of his two foes emerge from the now flattened wasteland. Ichigo instantly turned to Goku who locked eyes with him. Ichigo raised his sword intent to take out Goku the same was he had just did to Naruto. "Getsuga Tensho!" Ichigo shouted as he swung his black sword to release another blast from it. Goku not wanting to be hit by it again, dodged out of the way as the blast just grazed him and went on to devastate the area behind him. In response Goku quickly snapped his hand forward to unleash a blast at Ichigo who dodged in a similar manner. The two charged at each other until a giant blade slashed the ground between them and they instead dived back.
Gamabunta slashed the sword across now, and the two of them swerved in the air in different directions to dodge it. He carved up the land like it was a cake with his massive sword, with Goku and Ichigo moving around frantically to dodge it.
Goku dropped back to the ground as Ichigo went even higher. Gamabunta swiped at Ichigo like a fly, but he evaded each one. Stomping before Goku came Gamaken smashing down with his weapon. Jumping up and running up the length of his arm Goku arrived at the face and launched a blast directly into it. Gamaken roared as the explosion rocked his face and fell onto his back as Goku stayed in the air above him. Looking over to his side, he saw Gamabunta charging at him as he stomped through the forest.
Goku launched a blast at one of the oncoming toads, hitting him. Then suddenly Ichigo came at him from his left side swinging and slashed Goku across his arm. Grabbing the back of Ichigo's head Goku slammed him forward as he swung his knee up plunging his knee into Ichigo's gut. Ichigo hacked from above taking the breath out of him. Goku pulled Ichigo off his fist before slamming him back down onto it again, penetrating deeper into his stomach and this time Ichigo coughed up even more blood. Now Goku pulled his arm up and Ichigo with it before he threw him down to the ground below.
Hurling down Ichigo landed on the ground splintering the earth they hovered over. Goku descended down towards Ichigo, but as he came closer to the ground Ichigo jolted up from it with his sword raised. Jabbing up Ichigo slashed Goku across the leg. Goku snapped his leg and kicked Ichigo across the ground and into the forest knocking down more trees as he did. Planting his feet onto the ground Ichigo propelled himself forward back to wards Goku. The two clashed as Goku's fist swung towards Ichigo who dodged and slashed at him. A barrage of punches and kicks came from Goku as Ichigo responded with his own sword swiped. He slashed his sword forward to scratch Goku's right cheek. In retaliation Goku threw a kick hitting him in the arm. His stance broken, Goku bent down and elbowed him in the gut. Ichigo grabbed his sword and slammed the hilt on top of Goku's head who jumped up and headbutted Ichigo. Ichigo sprung his leg up to kick Goku and sent him spiraling back across the ground just as he did to him before. Keeping his momentum he waved his sword and unleashed a blast from his Bankai.
"Getsuga Tensho!" he shouted, and the black blast swerved out of his sword and towards Goku. Seeing the oncoming dread approaching he stopped himself in the air and shot forward with his own attack.
"Kamehameha!" he shouted launching a blue blast at him. The two blasts soared over the ground and collided with each other. A large explosion; a fury of bright and black overtook the area before a cloud of smoke did. But it soon cleared from the momentum of the two of them as they charged each other.
Then suddenly as the two charged each other, they were set on from behind by two of the toads; Gamabunta and Gamhiro. Putting their backs to each other and now facing the toads they unleashed the blasts they just used on each other. Ichigo swung his sword as Goku threw his open palms forward.
"Getsuga Tensho!" "Kamehameha!" their voices mixed in together against their massive opponents.
Gamabunta was struck by the Getsuga Tenshou, but Gamahiro managed to dodge the Kahmehameha. He swiped down with both of his swords as Goku kicked them away. Then Ichigo came at him from behind and he flew off. Gamahiro then swung at Ichigo who parried the giant sword with his own. Then from below Goku grabbed ahold of the frog by his leg. Despite all his frustration, he couldn't shake Goku off and he proceeded to launch him into the air at Ichigo. Ichigo reared his arms back and knocked the giant frog to the ground before charging down Goku as he stood on the ground. Goku braced himself for the attack and powered up on the ground.
Ichigo lunged at him and Goku placed both hands on his black blade. Grunting and groaning the two struggled against each other on the ground. Behind them Gamabunta stirred and shook the dirt and trees off. From their left side came another attack. Goku was the first to notice it. Sprinting towards them was Naruto and held in both of his hands were Rasengans.
"Ah!" Goku let out sharply as he pushed against Ichigo suddenly breaking the deadlock. He moved to hit him so he could then strike Naruto, but Ichigo managed to duck under him. Then he moved behind Goku and pushed him forward towards the double barrage, but Goku latched onto his shoulder and brought him along with him.
"I got something for both of you!" Naruto shouted as he ran forward with a Rasengan in both of his hands. "You're done!" he said as he buried it into both of their chests. As he did it expanded. "Sage Art! Giant Rasengan!". Ichigo and Goku were overtaken by the giant surging ball of chakra. It grinded and cut against their skin, ripping into them and in an instant sent them soaring back. Ichigo stumbled on his face and then his back across the ground as Goku skidded on his back through the forest. Goku crashed through several trees and uprooted the ground until he finally came to a stop. Shaking himself free of the ground and dirt on him, he pulled himself up only to find that he was knee deep beneath the ground. Looking out to the trench he made, he saw Naruto and the giant toads watching on.
"Ah" he let out a breath "What an attack. Not anything like the one he hit me with before." he said aloud. He'd have no time to muse further though. Then from the side he saw a black dot swing his sword at them and they all moved to dodge the black blast it emitted.
Ichigo after swinging his sword at him continued on to face Naruto and the toads. Goku had jumped out of his way, going further into the devastated forest him to dodge his attack. His maneuver had worked out for now. He was away from them but not out of this fight. Bending down he was prepared to soar ahead and back into battle. That was until something else caught him off guard. Something he certainly wasn't expecting. Not an attack or a blast. But a light innocent giggle.
"Oh Gee! This sure is exciting!" a high pitch voice let out. Confused Goku stopped at once. He turned his head to look over his shoulder to see another frog sitting beside him. Not as big as the other three, but certainly larger than the other two smaller ones atop Naruto's shoulders. He was in fact as big as Goku himself. He was bright yellow with orange lining around his body and looked a bit puffier than the others. A pleasant if oblivious smile plastered on his bulbous face. He casually looked over to Goku "Hey there friend." he waved amiably at him.
Goku's confused demeanor was soon placed with a natural friendly one "Hi there." he waved back "What are you doing here? It's dangerous." he warned him.
"Me?" the frog asked now visibly becoming confused himself "Well I got summoned here with all the rest of them" he told "But I came looking for some snacks, but I haven't found any yet." he admitted painfully "But I'm gonna find em when were all done here." he said with some confidence returning along with determination.
"I could use a good meal too." Goku admitted before turning back to Naruto and Ichigo battle with determination. "But I didn't come all this way for food." he then turned back to the yellow frog. "But when I'm done, we can go together." he proposed and that seemed to brighten the frog's attitude even more so.
"Really?! Oh thanks friend I'd really appreciate it." he let out a silly little laugh "My name's Gamatatsu. What's yours?"
"Goku." the sayain responded introducing himself.
The bulbous toad let out an innocent little laugh "Hey Goku your hairs the same color as me" he pointed and laughed some more.
"Got the same jacket too" Goku tugged at his blue and now more revealed gi as Gamatatsu looked at his own vest.
He felt a violent crash shake the ground and looked over to see Ichigo cross his blade with the massive one of the frogs. He pushed forward knocking Gamahiro and his swords away as he was attacked from the side. Ichigo turned his head looked over to see Naruto flying at him. Ichigo kicked in the face and send him tumbling across the ground. At that moment Gamabunta came from behind and punched him down into the ground.
"I gotta go" Goku said to Gamatasu "I'll be back." he flew away "Wish me luck."
"Good luck buddy." the frog waved innocently.
Ichigo lunged forward his blade stabbing through Naruto's open hand and the tip of it scrapped him above his eye. Naruto let out a painful cry as blood flowed onto his right eye blinding him.
Fighting through the pain Naruto swung a punch at him with his free hand, reaching Ichigo but he ducked under it.
Then he saw beside him the giant sword of Gamahiro swing down. Ichigo pulled his sword out of Naruto and kicked him away before brought it up against Gamahiro's blades swinging down pressing against them both. Seeing himself split between the two massive blades crossed against his own Ichigo grinned.
"A sword wielding frog." he managed a grin, although it was a bloody one "Gotta say I bet Captain Komamura would like the sight of you. I'd say you're even the size of his Bankai."
Gamahiro titled his flat head and his wide eye blinked curiously. Ichigo then pushed against him breaking their hold. He swiped at Gamahiro who blocked with one sword and then slashed with the other. Ichigo flew out of the way of the slash. But headed right for another attack.
Goku wasted no time in getting back into the action.
Charging back into the fray and coming at his side, Goku cracked Ichigo in the face sending him back flying and knocking into Gamahiro. Colliding the two fell back into the forest devastating it entirely, a shockwave emitting off the frogs body that travelled across the ground.
Then crashing down from the sky came Gamaken landing right on top of Goku. His sasumata slammed down onto Goku sending him into the ground. Landing hard onto it Goku looked up to see the toads descent continue and right on top of him. Gamaken landed hard slamming onto Goku and trapping him below. Goku's muffled cries could be heard below.
"I'm surprised I landed on you. You see, I'm quite ungraceful." he admitted modestly, his voice rumbling down to Goku below him.
After saying that he bounded up in the air and came down onto him again cracking open the ground and pushing Goku deepened into it. Bending down again he jumped into the air and was going to come down just as hard.
With a battered body Goku looked up to see the falling mass and raised both his hands. Discharging two blasts of energy he hit the falling Gamaken who dropped his giant weapons to the ground. The earth shook as the weapons fell to the ground and were imbedded beside Goku, who raised himself as Gamaken fell like dead weight towards him.
The moment he picked himself up, he saw Ichigo come at him. Swinging his sword, Goku sidestepped him, grabbed ahold of his wrists and flung him away. Then he raised his arms just as Gamaken fell down on top of him, but Goku caught him. Without budging from the weight Goku bent down and then flung Gamaken into the sky sending him soaring across the forest. He didn't wait to see him land as Naruto was already on him and Ichigo was closing in as well. He swung at Naruto kicking him in the face, but he disappeared into a cloud of white smoke. The shadow clone was soon replaced by Ichigo who burst through the smoke and swung at Goku. Goku grabbed the sword like he had before and swung his arm over the blade. Ichigo dodged and pried the sword from Goku.
Naruto watched on from a distance. He looked to the frogs on his shoulders.
"Leave it to me." Shima said as she jumped off his shoulder, keeping both Ichigo and Goku in sight.
The small purple frog jumped into the air. "Wind Style; Sand dust!" she said with puffed up cheeks before spewing down a gust of wind at them, blowing the dust and smoke.
A cloud of thick dust came over them and both Ichigo and Goku were lost in it. But neither of them were willing to stay there for long. Sensing him close by Goku snapped his elbow out and hit Ichigo in the face. Power up Goku let out a cry as he blasted away the smoke with his shockwaves. Looking over to see Naruto clear as day and he wasted no time and dashed towards him.
Coming at him so fast that he had not time to dodge he struck him in the face. Naruto fell back and put his hands out to stop his fall. Then he shot his legs up to kick Goku who dodged by going into the air. Naruto jumped at him with another kick, but Goku dodged those as well. Landing back on the ground Naruto charged Goku as he remained in the air.
Then suddenly from behind Ichigo came at Goku slashing his sword. Moving out of the way, Goku jabbed his elbow into the side of Ichigo's face and he instantly threw his sword out, the hilt hitting Goku's face and a few drops of blood fell to the ground. Goku swerved around and dropped his foot onto Ichigo's head knocking him down to the ground.
Landing on his knees Naruto was on him instantly. He threw a punch, but Ichigo jumped back. Naruto was going to press his attack before Goku landed between them both and shot his arms out and two blasts with it. Naruto ducked to the ground as the blast grazed his back as Ichigo was hit dead on and sent back by the blast and overtaken in another explosion.
Outlined in blue Naruto looked up to see Goku standing over him and Ichigo removed from the scene. Once the blast was gone, he picked himself up out of the way right as Goku stomped down onto the ground where he was. Goku pressed his attack by throwing his left arm at Naruto who brought his own up to block while swinging forward with his right. His fist imprinted into Goku's sent the Saiyan stumbling back. Goku then shot his leg up hitting Naruto in the gut and taking him off his feet. Then he jabbed forward with a blast, but Naruto knocked his hand away misdirecting the blast away from him. But even then it hit Gamahiro, exploding into his face and knocking him onto his back. The ground shook as he fell and Naruto threw two punches and then jumped up with a kick, all of which Goku blocked. The two of them were about two swing at the other when Ichigo suddenly swopped in slashing his sword. Goku dodged and Naruto jumped back and was now behind Ichigo.
Naruto cracked him in the back of the head. He turned back to swipe at him, but Naruto jumped away and Ichigo had to turn back to stop Goku's oncoming kick. Skidding back along the dirt Naruto didn't see the other large toads, but he did look to the two on his shoulders.
Looking down to them, he knew what he had to do.
"Ready?" he asked the two of them as he wiped the blood from his mouth.
The two frogs on his shoulder bounded up in the air above the rest of the "Sage Art: Frog Song!" they let out in unison as sonic blast came shooting down at the Super Saiyan and the substitute soul reaper. Stunning them both they were locked in place and didn't even move to strike the other.
'Now's my chance!' Naruto thought- NO he knew it. He raised his hands in the air and summoned his shadow clones. But it wasn't all he was going to summon his arm remained in the air 'I can only do two of these even in Sage mode.' he thought as an abnormally large and sharp Rasengan formed above his hand. 'So why not use it when it has the best chance of success?' he thought looking the two of them; both stationary and in some kind of stupor.
Looking up above his hand, he saw it forming beautifully; The Rasenshuriken. He looked at the two of them still paralyzed by the frogs attack. But he knew they strong enough and would break out of it soon. So he had to be fast!
Planting his right foot forward he swung his hand and the Rasenshuriken with it. Spiraling across the ground it headed along it's trajectory; right towards the stunned Goku and Ichigo. But they wouldn't remain stunned for much longer.
Ichigo was the first to notice it coming at them, but Goku broke the hold one them first.
Screaming himself free he powered up just as he did before with the cloud of dust bursting all around him. He motioned to do a Kamehameha and wasn't even concerned with the free Ichigo to his side as Naruto lunged forward with the Rasenshuriken. Goku was about to gather energy for the attack, but his eyes bugged open when he realized.. he didn't have enough time.
Instead, he took to the air and Ichigo jumped far to the side just as the Rasenshuriken struck. It engulfed the ground below and swerved around to create a vortex of jarring wind with Goku and Ichigo just out of it's reach. Goku was speechless by the attack. He could sense it just as it was about to hit him the power behind it.
Shredding all before him the Rasenshuriken diminished as soon as the attack was complete leaving Naruto in a crater of his own making just like when he first started this fight. And just like the he had missed his targets.
"Damn." Naruto grinded his teeth as clenched his fist closed. Tightening it where his greatest attack once was. He looked up to see the two of them just ogle the attack instead of getting caught in it. He'll have to try better next time. But if he could catch them stunned and have it not work what could he do?
Better.
Naruto leapt from the hole, back on level ground.
The two of them touched the ground across from him. Goku, where he once stood with Ichigo doing the same a few paces from him. Between the three of them, they formed a perfect triangle on the ground.
"Phew" Goku wiped his forehead, but with a bloody hand only managed to dirty it more "That was close." he admitted looking towards Naruto, but still keeping Ichigo in view. "Glad I missed that one. What's that called anyway?"
"Wind Style: Rasenshuriken" Naruto said confidently "I made it myself." he pointed a thumb to his bloody chest.
"Whoa really?! That's amazing!" Goku let out impressed before spreading his legs across the dirt and putting his arms up "What else is there?"
"Let me show ya." Naruto grinned.
"Hey!" Ichigo called out interrupting the two "Don't forget about me." he said pointing his sword out to both of them.
Naruto eyes dashed from the two of them. He took in a deep breath "Alright" he exhaled and then grinned "Let's try this again."
Goku dashed towards Naruto. In response he dropped smoke bombs before him clouding his vision. Now Goku was getting used to sensing Chakra, but he wasn't going to take the bait. Pivoting on his feet he changed his course and headed directly towards Ichigo.
Then out of the corner of his eye. something burst from the smoke cloud Naruto had created. Looking over he saw the exact same attack he had just used; Rasenshuriken!
Goku went even fast now to dodge, but it was coming at him too fast. He stood his ground to and out his hands out, prepared to blast it away.
In one moment the Rasenshuriken was right before him, it's blades so close it could touch him. And then in one instant it vanished.. and was replaced by Naruto.
"WHAT?" Goku let out before Naruto's fist connected with Goku's face and he grabbed ahold of him. He fell back to the ground and slid across it, with Naruto on top of him and beating him down every step of the way. They finally came to a stop, and Naruto plunged his fist down at Goku. Moving his head Goku dodged as Naruto destroyed the ground beneath hm. Goku pushed him off into the air and shot his legs up sending him even higher. Jumping to his feet Goku charged at Ichigo as he originally intended to do.
Naruto saw the earth disappearing beneath him, Goku and Ichigo did as well the higher he got. Then all of a sudden he stopped and seemed to have landed. Looking over he saw he was in the palm of Gamabunta. From one end of his mouth he inhaled his pipe and out of the other end he blew smoke.
"Ready to finish this?" he asked puffing on his pipe. Determined Naruto only nodded to him. "Then get back in there!" he said before launching him back to the ground. Everything was become cleared now as he saw Ichigo slash at Goku, who in retaliation threw a punch at him. Readying himself, Naruto put his feet out and planted them on the ground and keeping with the momentum broke into a sprint before them. Blindsiding them, he shot his arm out and threw a punch at both of them. Goku blocked him, but he struck Ichigo in the face. Goku would have hit both of them, but Gamabunta swung down at him crushing the ground beside Naruto. Goku kicked the giant toad away only to have Gamaken swipe his arm with his mallet sending Goku hurling across the air. Tumbling over himself through the air Goku was heading straight towards Gamahiro who bore his two swords. He managed to stop himself just as he swiped at him. Goku flew beneath the two furious swipes and head back to the ground beneath him. Goku flew back in the air as Gamahiro jabbed his swords into the ground.
Ichigo then swung his sword around at Naruto, but he shot his hands out and grabbed ahold of the hilt successfully stopping the counterattack and holding Ichigo in place. The two struggled and fidgeted in place, but neither one budged. Ichigo tried to shake him free, but Naruto hung on. Even when he let one hand go Ichigo still couldn't get control if his sword.
Ichigo ducked under the punch and pulled his sword back before jabbing it forward into Naruto's face, staining the hilt with blood. He did it again and Naruto finally let go before Goku remerged kicking him away. He then swung at Ichigo who flash stepped around him and slashed at him from his left side. He didn't see Naruto pick himself up from the ground behind him as Goku blocked his attack from the front. Throwing a punch at him, Ichigo ducked and at this moment saw Naruto coming at him.
Ichigo reared the sword back, hitting Naruto in the gut as he came at him from behind. Then he plunged it forward at Goku who grabbed ahold of it and flung Ichigo around into the air sending him towards Gamabunta who swiped at him. But Ichigo braced himself, shooting his feet out kicking the toad away and rocketing back to Goku and Naruto.
As soon as Goku had thrown Ichigo away, Naruto sprung up and brought his knee into Goku's face. The saiyan reacted instantly, swatting Naruto away across the ground leaving a trail of blood as he went. Then Ichigo charged at Goku from behind.
Goku snapped around with a kick hitting Ichigo's head. He reached his free arm out to grab the leg and hurled Goku face first into the ground. Turning his sword down he then stabbed it into Goku's back. He let out a cry as he was impaled into the ground, pinned there. Then Naruto jumped back in, landing on top of Goku sending him down into the ground further before throwing at punch at Ichigo who pulled his sword out to block. Blood was all over the black blade. Goku reared up from the ground knocking Naruto into Ichigo and turned on the two of them; a blue light forming in his hands.
His teeth grinded together as blood seeped out between them. He had them lodged together again and he would not waste it this time.
"Kamehameha!" he roared as he unleashed it on the two of them who disappeared into the blinding light.
Goku relaxed himself as the two of them disappeared, but he knew this fight wasn't over yet. The two may be gone, but they were not defeated yet. And he still had three much large opponents to deal with.
Suddenly from above him came a giant sword. Goku snapped his arm out to grab it and then with all his strength flung the sword and it's wielder to the ground. Gamahiro landed hard onto the battered ground and Goku reared his leg back to kick him in his face sending him back and on top of Naruto and Ichigo.
A mallet came at him as soon as his foot was back on the ground. Flying up Goku turned to throw a punch at Gamaken who brought his shield up to successfully block. Goku threw another one at him knocking him back even though he was behind the shield.
"-Tensho!" he heard half of the name, but still knew what was coming at him. Goku flew high into the air dodging the black wave which Gamaken kept his shield up to block instead. Even then all the force sending him hurling back through what remained of the forest.
Turning around Goku saw not only Ichigo floating there, blood dripping off his body, but Naruto standing on the ground. Smoke emitting off of both as their clothes had been burned away by his Kamehameha. Each one still ready to go. Pivoting Goku turned and charged them.
Naruto leapt at Ichigo from behind who ducked low and jutted his sword back the hilt knocking into Naruto's gut. He then moved out of the way as Goku lunged forward punching Naruto back. Ichigo then swiped at Goku's out stretched arm, but he retracted it to turn and punch Ichigo in the face. His body turned Naruto jumped forward kicking Goku in the face. Coming back with a swipe Ichigo swung down at Naruto who jumped back. Goku hurled a blast which they both dodged. Diving at him with his sword Ichigo jabbed at Goku who dodged at the last second as the sword cut across the side of his neck.
Grabbing it in pain, blood seeped through his tightly clasped fingers. He ducked under another swing and then shot up over another to then come back down with a punch so powerful it knocked Ichigo on his head and shattered the ground when he hit it.
Naruto then lunged at Goku who taking his bloody hand off his throat shot an arm out to block a punch. The two came down to the ground throwing kicks and punches as Ichigo erupted from the ground to join them.
The three kept on fighting, moving around through the forest destroying it more. They were fast on their own, but even faster as they tried to keep up and outdo each other. And that made the toads job a little harder.
Hopping after them Gamabunta bent down low and took a great leap forward to fly into the air as the three duked it out beneath him. Souring through the air he moved his hands together and open his mouth wide open.
"Water style! Liquid bullets!" his deep voice echoed down to them. His gaping mouth them shot out a giant ball of water down at the combatants. Ichigo and Goku paused as they were facing it, seeing it approach. Despite his back being to it, Naruto knew it was coming and jumped up and out of it's way right as it arrived.
It crashed down onto the ground erupting like an explosion, swarming across the ground it took Ichigo and Goku with it.
"Did that do it?" Gamabunta asked as they were washed away.
"Don't count on it." Naruto warned. Watching in as Ichigo and Goku picked themselves up, they looked like small dots compared to how far he was from them. And compared to the two looming mountains beside them, for the two were set on by Gamahiro and Gamaken. Gamaken slammed onto the ground as Gamahiro landed on it. Goku flew up to blow Gamaken's blow but he the pushed forward knocking Goku into Ichigo who dueled Gamahiro. Both were then caught in his swipes as they came down at him.
Ichigo brought up his sword to brace it against the massive katana while Goku grabbed the massive blade in his palm stopping it just as easily as if he had a sword of his own. Both then pushed back against him at the same time. Goku flew down as Ichigo flew around and shot a Getsuga Tensho hitting Gamahiro from behind and sending him hurling into Gamaken. Naruto looked on disheartened.
After getting rid of the toads they turned to face each other on the ground.
"I got this." Naruto grilled them. Running forward he put his hands together "Shadow Clone justsu!" he shouted as his clones appeared and they all zeroed in on the two.
Dodging a kick from Goku and a slash from Ichigo the two then looked to their sides to see the oncoming assault from Naruto and his clones.
Ichigo and Goku were both swarmed by shadow clones. Ichigo jumped back as one dived towards him as Goku stood his ground, blocking a punch from one and a jumping kick from the other.
Goku moved his head to dodge a punch then snapped his forearm up to misdirect another. He then snapped his other arm forward to hit that clone erupting it into smoke. He jumped back as another leapt at him, but was set on once he landed back. Two approached him from both sides.
Another one appeared to punch his Goku in the face sending him directly into another's fist. More came around to encircle him. One jumped from behind to kick him in the back sending him forward directly into another ones fist. That blow knocked him back only for him to be pushed down.
Sliding across the ground Naruto knelt down low as Goku's face was brought to him. Rearing up a kick he sent Goku shooting into the air. Leaping up himself he reared a punch sending him back down to the ground. Each blow to him shot more blood out of his mouth.
Goku then got up as Naruto came crashing down. From above Naruto began his descent below. Surrounded by clones on the ground, Goku shot up standing tall and shouting at the top of his lunges, veins bursting from his body as blood flowed from his wounds. The clones around him stumbled and some disappeared from the shaking. He shot his arms out to the side unleashing a blast that disintegrated all others around him.
Looking up he saw Naruto- the true one falling down to him.
Behind him Ichigo unleashed another Getsuga Tensho obliterating all the clones that swarmed in at once. He then turned over to see Naruto descend onto Goku.
Jumping away from him once Naruto landed, Goku lunged at him hitting him in the face sending him down but then he shot his leg up sending him into the air. He threw a punch at him, but Naruto grabbed his forearm. Perching himself on it, he threw a kick at Goku that he ducked under.
Naruto came back to the ground and threw a punch. Goku dashed around him, appearing behind him and threw a punch. His back to him Naruto moved out of the way and pivoted on his feet to turn around.
"Hey! Over here!" a voice called. Goku and Naruto paused as they saw Ichigo staring at them. "I won't attack you while your back is turned." Goku turned around putting himself between Naruto and Ichigo. Once he saw that Ichigo lunged forward with his sword.
It connected not only with Goku, but Naruto standing behind him.
Ichigo stabbed his sword skewering both Goku and Naruto through it. The two let out a painful cry together pinned together by the sword.
Stuck on the blade with Naruto and in front of Ichigo Goku reared his elbow back hitting Naruto in the face and forcing him off the sword. Then he swung that same arm forward and rocked Ichigo in the face. Blood smeared on his elbow and fist and ichigo was knocked back and the sword pulled out from him. Jumping up Goku shot both his feet out kicking them both in the face. Sweeping under Goku in the air Naruto lunged up uppercutting ichigo into the air so that he now lingered before Goku who then as if in unison with Naruto kicked Ichigo back and he bounded on the ground.
Naruto then shot up to replace Ichigo lingering in the air before Goku and shot a powerful kick to launch Goku back, sending him right towards Gamaken who knocked him into the ground with his weapon.
Naruto then turned in the hair to head down for Ichigo. Looking up he saw Naruto fall down on top of him, pulling his sword out Naruto landed right on top of him and was impaled by it. But as soon as the sword penetrated him, he disappeared into smoke. Shocked Ichigo opened his eyes as Naruto came down on him, landing feet first onto hi head embedding it into the ground. Using his face as a spring board he bounded up just as Ichigo jumped to his feet; two bloody shoe marks on his face.
He turned to swipe at Naruto, dragging the sword along his torso opening his clothes and wound further, having hit him mid air as he jumped away. Swerving uncontrollably as blood poured from him Naruto was suddenly stopped mid air. Looking up he could see he was above the ground, but in the helpful hands of Gamabunta.
"You alright kid?" he asked looking down at him in his palms.
"Yeah" Naruto said as he picked his bloody self up in his palm. Looking over he saw Gamahiro duel Ichigo once Naruto left, but also was the same thing with Gamaken as he swung at Goku but was kicked back. "He needs me!" he declared as he leapt from the giant toads hands and behind Gamaken.
Goku grabbed toad head swing him down face first into ground. As Gamaken was hurled down Naruto trailing up his back kept forward off of his head and kneeing Goku who was flung away. Grabbing ahold of him as he fell Naruto hit him into ground and landing on top of him, then proceeded to beat him into it.
A few good hard punches pummeled into Goku's now swollen cheeks. In retaliation he threw his hands up, putting his open palms onto Naruto's chest Goku unleashed a blast on him sending him flying clear off. When the light faded Naruto was gone and he jumped to his feet. Going to his feet Ichigo came at him with a swing of his sword. Dodging the swing Goku rocked Ichigo in the face sending him stumbling back. He then shot up with a kick.
Ichigo flashed stepped around Goku's kick and came behind him to slash him across his back opening it. Blood spilled out as Goku went to his knees. Naruto then appeared over Goku, jumping onto the back of his head and propelling himself forward to kick Ichigo back. Swerving around Goku two shadow clones came from both sides. One jumped up to kick him into the other which punched him.
Goku then jolted up punching Naruto in the gut, grabbing ahold of him in the air he grabbed his by the leg twirled around and hurled him at Ichigo sending him colliding through his two shadow clones and on top of Ichigo. The clones dispersed but Naruto and Ichigo kept tumbling. And as they did Naruto threw a punch hitting Ichigo further across the ground. Then Goku shot forward throwing his shoulder into Naruto sending him back even further as Ichigo slashed up at him cutting his leg. Goku grabbed Ichigo's outstretched leg and hurled him after Naruto, smashing to the two again.
Getting ahold of themselves Naruto picked himself up from the ground as Ichigo skidded to a halt.
The two shakily managed to steady themselves on their own two feet as Goku closed in on them. As he did each stepped forward with a blow.
Ichigo turned to jab at Goku. Naruto swung up to kick Ichigo and Goku leaned in to punch Naruto. And each one of them found their mark. Each one of them landed a hit and each one was hit themselves sending the three shooting away from the others.
They were forced back only so far before they stopped. Panting, bloody, with open wounds on each of them. All three had given it their all. But they would have to give more to end it.
Landing back on the ground Goku locked eyes with Ichigo and his black sword. Looking off to his right was Naruto bearing the both of them down. Eyeing the both of them from across their battle field he planned his next move while also trying to anticipate theirs. He knew there was another toad out there who would throw in his strength with Naruto's. But he also expected Ichigo to attack him first. Regardless of who did what he would have to end this.
Almost in unison the three of them raised their right foot forward and then broke out towards the other three.
The three charged at each other; each one prepared to take the other two with all their strength. And they would have too.. if someone hadn't gotten between them.
"DAD!" Gohan shouted as touched down to the ground between them.
"Gohan?!" Goku let out as he skidded to a stop right before his son. But he wasn't the only one who was surprised to see him.
"Gohan?!" another voice let out just as shocked. Turning over to see who just called his name, he saw Ichigo. "What are you doing here?" he asked as he advanced on him as well.
"I came back for my Dad" he smiled "It's a good thing I've found you too" he put a hand on his shoulder "I hope things didn't get too out of hand here before we came."
Goku and Ichigo looked to the battle covered other. "We?" they both let out. Gohan looked at the terrible shape both of them were in.
"I guess you couldn't help yourself huh dad?" Gohan asked "If only I told you sooner." Both Ichigo and Goku looked to each other before going to their shared connection. Goku's son and Ichigo's friend. Coming up to fly around Gohan were Goten and Trunks.
Standing from behind them Naruto was dumbfounded, but he wasn't alone in that state for long. Two shadows loomed over each shoulder.
"Ka-k-kasha sensei!?" he let out in disbelief to the mam over his left. His best was gone and his blue uniform was torn in several places "Piccolo-sensei?!" he let out as the Namekian stood with him over his right.
"Bean?" a green arm suddenly extended to his view, clasping a bean between his fingers. But his green arm was due to his clothing not his skin color like Piccolo. And he wore bandages around his wrist and hand.
"Bushy brows?!" Naruto exclaimed as Rock Lee held a bag in one hand and strangely held a Senzu bean in the other.
"Ha!" a gravely voice cackled. Looking over Naruto saw a man with spiky black hair dressed in tattered blue gi come to join the group. Hopping over him was a small woman and a man with red hair both dressed in black, similar to Ichigo "That's an amusing one, I must admit." he said as he trudged forward.
"Who are you?!" Naruto shouted and pointed to him, but he didn't even bother to answer or even look at him. Naruto then turned back to more familiar faces of Kakashi, Piccolo and Rock Lee "Well, it's a good thing your here." He looked over to see that two women had joined Ichigo, Goku and Gohan. Standing beneath a tree, separated from every one else was tall imposing figure dressed in black like some of the other's. His face blank and his demeanor like his placement among the group was distant. Coming up to stand beside Piccolo and Kakashi came another woman; this one with dark skin and long purple hair in uniform ripped apart like Kakashi's. "Together we can take all of them out!" he took a bloody step forward, but a hand on his shoulder kept him in place.
"No. We're not" Kakashi stopped him.
"Hm?" Naruto stalled as the three before him turned around and the man in blue joined them. The ever enlarging group began to form a circle and every one's eyes darted to every one else. A large shadow overtook the group and they all looked up casually to see the three giant toads looking down at them from the sky. Gamabunta took a long puff from his pipe before taking it out of his mouth and opened it, blowing a fog of dense smoke onto the group.
"So.." he grumbled putting his pipe back into his mouth and puffed "who wants to start?"
Mount Myoboku
The dank airy room of the Great Toad sage was more crowded than usual.
Three ancient figures huddled around a small circular ball. And inside, it showed that very group in a circle talking amongst themselves
"Eh?" the Great Toad Sage let out confused "What happened?" he asked as he peered deeper into the orb before him, courtesy of his guest King Kai. The North Kai looked on puzzled along with the stone faced Head Captain of the Thirteen Court Guard Squads.
"It seems they stopped fighting." Head Captain Yamamoto said with indifference.
"Is that a joke?" King Kai asked peering forward for a look of his own "Because it's not funny" he flicked the orb "Must be bad reception." he insisted.
"It most certainly is not." The Head Captain tapped his cane with his one arm.
"But why would they stop fighting?" the Great Toad asked as he scratched his head.
"They seemed to have figured out there's no reason to." King Kai said before crossing his arms "What a shame." he pouted and lowered his head "and we had planned it for so long." he said glumly looking to the other two.
"All for naught it seems." Yamamoto said.
"Do you remember who won?" The Great Toad Sage asked scratching his sagging face "I lost track after a point." he admitted.
"Well what do you remember?" King Kai asked as he and Yammamoto looked over to him. The wrinkles on his face deepened and his eyes shut a bit more as he tried to remember. But once he did his mouth widened into a toothless smile.
"The last thing I remember is when Kenpachi first wen to the Mist Village." he admitted happily. Much to the shock of his two companions.
"That was all the way! Back when we started!" King Kai raved.
"Oh well" the great toad sage groaned camly "I guess we'll never find out what was stronger; the Saiyans, the nine tailed fox or the soul reapers"
"Nope." King Kai shook his head in agreement "I guess we'll never find out for sure." silence overtook the group as he peered at everyone in the orb "Well," he perked up "I better get going. When they get back I'm sure I'll have to deal with this."
"I certainly will not." Yammamoto raised himself up with his only arm and turned to leave.
"See you later." King Kai said before floating off to get back home the same way he came.
"Good bye" the Toad waved as they left "See you two, next time whenever it may be." he said as the two disappeared in a puff of smoke and lowered his arm back to his side. All alone now the great toad then stretched "Oh it's so nice to have friends." he smiled.
