I will say it in advance, as always. I cannot, nor will I try to profit from the original sources by writing this. The credit for the original source material is to be given to the people who made these series in the first place, especially the developers of the games whose work continues even now. With that said, let us begin.
A DREAM OF SUMMER
A Highschool DxD crossover
Prologue
-A Place where Dreams come True-
All beings capable of going beyond mere instinct have desires and dreams, and most likely desire for those dreams to become reality.
But while the True Dream is all powerful and effortlessly transcends both Logic and Impossibility, most dreams are outside of reach because they cannot become real by themselves. Therefore, all other dreams require some combination of the following.
Ability
Support
Stubbornness
Luck
Time
Place
All dreamers must acquire by nature or nurture a set of tools that enables them to struggle against their current reality and force it to accommodate to their dreams. Those without any skill developed are worthless actors who can only hope to be rewarded by gaining the favor of someone else or something else, and those existences are powerful just as they can be whimsical.
Struggling for one's dream means being stubborn to face the friction that results by resistance from the world. A dream sometimes represents change, sometimes resistance against change, but all dreamers must have the will to struggle and denied the world's effort to deny one's dream becoming a reality.
Some dreamers count with great skill and unwavering will, but only the True Dream can manifest on its own volition. Whether seeking the help of the common people or the elites, or ensuring their help by means of creed or force, all dreamers require support from others. Willing or unwilling.
Time is perhaps a dream's most annoying ingredient for turning true. A dreamer can be skilled, determined, lucky and successful in gathering support… yet a dream can take from little to almost an eternity to be achieved. Patience is a virtue of the few, and even those who have defied the pass of time may become desperate at the first sign of victory or failure. No amount of the other will make up for the foolishness of missing signs of time, and luck can fail when ignored.
Finally, place.
Perhaps the easiest element to identify and yet one of the most important alongside Time. Any sort of reality exist both in time and space, and therefore a dream requires a place to manifest and become real. With the exception of the Infinite and the True Dream, no dreams can exist in the void. A place is needed for all others ingredients to gather and mix, in order to realize a dream.
I know this Truth, we know this Truth.
And in light of this Truth you are offered a place.
A place to gather people with different skills.
A place to gather different dreamers.
A place to gather the right tools and the right people.
A place where Skill and Stubbornness will be tested against Luck and Time.
A place where all of the necessary ingredients will gather to produce different combinations.
A place where dreams come true.

A/N: This is the prologue of a weird idea I had since I revisited some particular games. You already know the first ingredient for this crossover, but I will only drop some clues for the other series in the next chapters until the plot begins for real.
Perhaps some of you will recognize the games I'm using for this crossover, although the last one will not be as easy to spot until chapter eleven. Even so, I welcome those who wish to review to guess the games I'm using for this project.
I will be posting very soon the first four chapters, and then schedule will be slower. But not as before with other works, so don't worry.
