A Certain Scientific Vampire Killer
Chapter 6: Thank God for Girls
I was walking through a forest near a graveyard as I pondered on a question that had me stumped, who the hell is even willing to help me fight a trio of impossibly strong vampires? I can't ask anyone I know to help because no offense they are either weak in terms of strength or been through hell to try and save me. Plus I don't want to endanger the lives of anyone I care about, even if it means that I have to fight all three Vampire Kings alone.
But I can't fight those vampire bastards alone. It's impossible. I'll die and that will be the end. So I need to find someone who would be willing to help me fight the Vampire Kings, but who? Think, Aisa, think. A complete stranger wouldn't help me fight insanely strong monsters for free, no one is that generous or perhaps insane. So there would have to be something to gain for the person to actually help me and to make it worthwhile for them. But what do people want?
"Oh, I got it! I know what to do now! This could work as, long as I can convince Tsukuyomi of the idea! And if she is ok with it, it's a foolproof plan!" I said as a huge grin appeared on my face, while I rubbed my hands together like a Saturday morning cartoon villain.
I finally made my way back to both Tsukuyomi and Seiri after coming up with a scheme that can't possibly fail!
"Hey Aisa, what took you so long? You were gone for almost ten whole minutes. Were you taking a shit or something? Seiri said while pointing her finger at me as she questioned me.
"What? NO! I was not-I mean, yeah, that's exactly what I was doing. It was really bad. I think I might have gotten food poisoning; I also threw up a little bit so those made me take even longer. Hahaha, sorry about that! I said awkwardly with my right hand on my back as I giggled. I can't let Seiri get involved; there is no way in hell I'm going to endanger one of my friends' lives, especially after what happened to Nanoha. Sorry Seiri, but I know this is for the best.
"Oh my god! Food poisoning is something that you should be concerned about! This is no laughing matter! Come on, it's time to go home! Aisa-chan!" Tsukuyomi said while she grabbed me by my arm as we walked towards the car. You know Tsukuyomi can be such a worrywart but this is one of the few times it can actually come in handy, I thought to myself.
"Bye Seiri! I'll talk to you later! Pray for me so that I end up being ok in the end!" I yelled towards Seiri while waving my hand at her as she waved her hand back to me. Phew, that worked out well. I don't like lying all that much, but my spontaneous lie worked really well to my advantage, I mean it was half true, I did throw up. Now it's almost time to reveal my plan.
I and Tsukuyomi walked all the way to her car as we proceeded to get in the car so that we can both go home. The time is now to reveal my grand plan, I thought to myself, but before I could say anything, Tsukuyomi asked me a question.
"So why did you lie to both me and Seiri about getting food poisoning, Aisa-chan? Tsukuyomi said as she looked me in my eyes with an icy stare. Huh? Wait a minute. Tsukuyomi knew I was lying? But how did she know?
"I, uh, how did you know I was lying Tsukuyomi? I said awkwardly with an innocent grin on my face as I looked like a child who got caught red-handed for stealing a cookie from a cookie jar.
"I could always easily tell whenever you are lying, Aisa-chan. My proof is that whenever you lie, your left eye blinks a couple of times. Tsukuyomi said as she pointed her finger towards my left eye while I blinked. I was completely confused.
"Eh? Wait really? Does my left eye always blink when I lie? I never noticed that? I said while I put a hand on my chin as I thought if that ever happened before.
"Oh, well that's because I just lied. I had a hunch you were lying, so I made up a lie to prove my suspicions. And I was right! So what aren't you telling me, Aisa-chan?" Tsukuyomi said with a mischievous smile on her face as she poked me in my forehead.
"Hahaha, that was pretty good. Well played Tsukuyomi, you utterly fooled me. I never knew you were so good at lying." I said with a cheerful smile on my face as I played with my long, straight, black hair.
"I'm so good at lying because I'm an adult and you are still a child. So, I'll ask again, what are you hiding from me, Aisa-chan!" Tsukuyomi said with a grin on her face as she lightly pinched my cheek. It's so weird to see someone who looks like a child say that she is an adult while calling me a child, I thought to myself.
"I'm not even a child! I'm fifteen! And I'm almost sixteen! Ugh, whatever. My actual age doesn't matter I guess. Ok, I'll tell you the truth, Tsukuyomi. The truth is, I need to hire a mercenary which I was hoping you would pay for since I'm broke." I said while averting my eyes from Tsukuyomi's face as I scratched my back.
"Oh, ok. I see. I understand. Wait for what! You want me to hire a mercenary? What's going on? Are you ok? Are you endanger? Why would you need a mercenary? Tell me, Aisa-chan!" Tsukuyomi said while she grabbed me from my arms as she pulled me back and forth so that she could get an answer out of me. However, all her pulling did was that it made me dizzy.
After Tsukuyomi stopped pulling me by the arms so that I could think and try to explain myself to the best of my ability to her, I told her everything. I told her that the white hooded girl explained to me that there are more vampires that are after me, that there are three of them, and that they are all Vampire Kings like Korn. The same Vampire King Korn who kidnapped Tsukuyomi and tried to kill me and that I'm choosing to fight the remaining Vampire Kings so that I could live and not die for them.
"Oh no! That's horrible! I'm so sorry for you, Aisa-chan! I don't have much money, but I'll give you all of it so that you can hire a mercenary and that you will be able to defeat those vampires! Tsukuyomi said as she rolled up her sleeve on her right arm, and then lifted her right arm into the air. Wow, I'm completely shocked that she is so willing to help me. Tsukuyomi really is so much better and cooler than me. I don't think I'll ever deserve to have her in my life beside me.
"You don't have to help me, but. Thank you, Tsukuyomi! I'm so thankful that I met you and for everything else too! I love you, Tsukuyomi!" I said with a cheerful smile on my face.
"Did you forget? I told you that a teacher will always be there for her students! So, of course, I will help you! And I love you too, Aisa-chan!" Tsukuyomi said with a cheerful smile of her own as we high-fived each other, since well, we couldn't really hug each other in a car.
After we both agreed on the plan to search for a hirable mercenary on the computer once we both get home, Tsukuyomi decided it would be best to stock up on some food at the local grocery store. Also if I'm being honest with myself, I only ate breakfast and it was already the afternoon, so I was starving. Plus, I can't fight and kill vampires on an empty stomach.
"Aisa-chan! Let's split up so that we can gather food at a quicker pace! So you take the first page of the shopping list and I'll take the other one! Let's try and meet back up at the shopping line in ten minutes or less!" Tsukuyomi said as she handed me part of the shopping list while she hurried in the opposite direction of me in order to get the food on her shopping list.
"Let's see what is on this list. Ok, so first things first is a can of mackerel. Alright, I got this! I murmured to myself while I headed in the direction of the shopping aisle that had mackerel in it.
Yes! I see the mackerel and luckily there is one can of it left. Phew, that was close. Nothing can stop me now from obtaining that mackerel! I thought to myself, but then when I reached the stand that had the can of mackerel on it, it was no longer there.
"What the? I know I saw a can of mackerel! It was literally right there! There is no way it could have just vanished out of thin air, that's impossible!" I yelled while some other people around me stared towards me as I expressed my complaints. Ugh, now I'm embarrassed, I thought to myself with a red, blushing face.
"Hahaha! I got the can of mackerel first! So you snooze you lose! Hahaha!" A girl with blonde hair and blue eyes said while wearing a black sailor top and a pleated skirt as she was giggling. The girl was also wearing a pair of pumps and dark-colored pantyhose, as well as a dark-colored beret that adorns her head. That girl's outfit is certainly unique, I thought to myself.
"That's not fair! You obviously cheated! So let's do a best two out of three so that it can actually be fair!" I yelled as I pointed my finger at the blonde-haired girl while I declared my challenge towards her.
"Hahaha! But I already have the can of mackerel, so what's the point of me accepting your challenge? What do I get if I win and what are the rules?" The blonde-haired girl said with a smirk on her face as she spun the can of mackerel on her finger. Ugh, this girl pisses me off!
"Whatever your name is! We will settle this in a game of who can reach the stand of food that is between us first! If you win, I'll give you a dollar. But if I win, you give me that can of mackerel that is in your hand! I said as I made a running stance already preparing myself to win this game.
"I see, so it's a race to see who is the fastest between us. Ok, I accept your challenge! The reward is meager, to say the least, but it's good enough! Oh, and my name is Frenda, so don't you forget it!" Frenda yelled while making a running stance of her own with a confident grin on her face.
That blonde-haired girl is really annoying! To be honest, I don't even care about the mackerel anymore. I just want to wipe that all-knowing smirk off that girl's face by winning this game!
3, 2, 1, GO! I sprinted forward at full speed towards the stand with delicious food on it. I got this in the bag! I reached the stand that was between me and that annoying blonde-haired girl in three seconds flat. Ha, checkmate! There is no way she could have run faster than me! I opened my eyes with a grin of my own on my face as I was already ready to rub my victory in her face!
"What took you so long? Is that how fast you can run? No way you are really that slow? Hahaha! That was too easy! Game, set, match! I win again! Hahaha!" Frenda said as she made a victory pose while giggling toward me because of my failure.
"No way? I actually lost? But how? I was sure that I had won that race? Dam it! I demand a redo! There is no way I could have lost that game!" I yelled while pointing my finger towards Frenda as I stomped my left foot on the ground in protest.
"Hahaha! You really are a sore loser, aren't you? You should look in a mirror. Your defeated face is absolutely priceless! Hahaha! But I refuse. If I were to continue playing this 'game with you, you would go bankrupt before I even sweated a little bit!" Frenda said while making another victory pose to rub salt on my wounds.
"Fine, whatever. There is no way that game was fair and square, but I'm a woman of my word. Here's your dollar." I said as I took a dollar out of my purse and handed it to that blonde-haired brat.
"Thank you! Whoever you are! You should try and go to the gym so that you can improve your speed! Well only if you ever want to get anywhere close to my level! Bye-bye! Frenda said while waving her hand towards me as she proceeded to walk in the opposite direction of where I was.
"You know what; maybe I will do just that! Then I'll obliterate you in a race to the point that YOU have a defeated look on your face! Also maybe some tears for good measure! And my name is Aisa! Himegami Aisa! I'll say it one more time! It's Himegami Aisa! So don't you dare forget it! I yelled as I raised my fist towards that blonde-haired brat as a declaration of war while other people that were around me looked at me with bewilderment on their faces.
"Uh, I mean, my name is Himegami Aisa, so don't you dare forget it," I said sheepishly as I whispered in a voice so low that only I could actually hear it.
"Hey, so your name is Himegami Aisa?" A man said with wavy, light, blue hair that complemented his dark, blue jumpsuit, and he looked like a normal high school student.
"Uh, yeah, Himegami Aisa, that's my name. I shouted it so loud that I'm pretty sure everyone in this grocery store heard it. So what about it?" I said with a confused look on my face as I awkwardly turned around from the blue-haired man and twirled my fingers in my long, straight, black hair in embarrassment. Oh my god, that guy is kind of hot, why did I have to scream my name so loud? Dam that blonde-haired brat for pissing me off so much!
"Awesome! I never would have thought that I would find you in a place like this while I was just trying to buy some chips and cola! So to kill two birds with one stone, let's fight right here, right now, Deep Blood." The blue-haired man said while putting a hand on my right shoulder as he whispered the words 'Deep Blood' in my ear. No way? An enemy in a public place!
I proceeded to push the blue-haired man's hand off of my right shoulder while leaping forward to create some distance between us as I bit off some of the skin on one of my fingers on instinct when then a drop of blood dripped from my cut finger.
"Red Katana!" I screamed while the drop of blood morphed and changed shape into a blood-red katana as I then proceeded to aim the tip of the katana at the blue-haired man's throat.
"Woah there, little girl! That weapon is dangerous! I never would have thought you would be this feisty in person! Though I guess you would have to be if you really did manage Korn! The blue-haired man said while he lifted his hands in the air as a sign of surrender as he revealed to me his true identity as a vampire, but not just any vampire, one of the three Vampire Kings!
"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't slice your head off right here and right now, you vampire bastard!" I yelled putting the tip of my katana closer to the blue-haired vampire's throat as it was now only a millimeter away from cutting the Vampire King.
"Because I would probably die and that would be the end of the fight. That wouldn't be fun at all! So be a good little girl and give me a five-second head start! Please? The blue-haired vampire said while putting his hands together in his pathetic attempt at negotiations.
I proceeded to ignore the blue-haired vampire's plea when I then rammed my blood-red katana into the vampire bastard's throat. Well, at least I thought I did. The truth is before I could land the attack that I was so close to pulling off; I was kicked in my stomach so hard that I went up in the air and almost hitting the roof of the grocery store.
"Sorry, my bad! I applied way too much force to that kick! But that wouldn't have had to happen if you only just listened to me and complied with my request, little girl." The blue-haired vampire said as I came crashing down onto one of the shelves that contained food on them.
"Blaaggggh!" I winced in pain as I coughed up blood out of my mouth that then landed on the floor, while bags that contained food proceeded to fall onto the floor, creating a huge mess.
"Oh no! Now, look at what you did! You got your blood on some of those bags that have chips in them! I was going to buy them all up in a single trip so that they would last me for the night! But now they are ruined with your disgusting blood on them! Thanks a lot, little girl!" The blue-haired man said as he ranted and expressed his complaints towards me. That's it. I have had enough of this annoying vampire bastard.
I proceeded to slice open a bag that contained flour with my blood-red katana, which was conveniently one of the things that fell with me when I crash-landed on the shelf. Cutting open the bag of flour with my blood-red katana created a makeshift smokescreen for me, as I stood back up ready to fight this vampire bastard to the death.
"Ooooooh! You are trying to obscure my vision with that bag of flour! Nice plan! It won't work though." The blue-haired vampire said while my blood-red katana was thrown in the air straight towards him as the Vampire King proceeded to effortlessly catch it midair and stopped it from going into his body.
"Aw come on! You really expected that attack to work! That's so disappointing! And here I thought I was going to actually get a decent fight from you, little girl." The blue-haired vampire said as a blunt object was then pierced into his back while he preceded to accidentally drop the blood-red katana that was in his hands.
"Red Knife!" I screamed while I made a vertical arc slash with my blood-red knife into the blue-haired vampire's back as I then proceeded to cut it open.
"Wow! So the whole throwing your katana at me was just a distraction so that you launch a sneak attack against me with your knife! And you chose to create a knife so that I wouldn't notice the weapon because it's small! Impressive! I'm impressed! You really are a skilled killer, little girl." The blue-haired vampire said with a grin on his face while he tried to kick me in my stomach again, which this time I blocked, though he managed to then create some distance between us by performing a backflip.
"Shut up. I finally landed an attack on you so stop acting so smug and just shut your dam mouth already. Also, stop calling me 'little girl' it's really starting to piss me off! I'm fifteen and I have an average height for my age so why don't you just go ahead and die, you vampire bastard!" I yelled while making a combat stance as I proceeded to kick my blood-red katana up into the air and grabbing it with my right hand, and now having two weapons in each of my hands. Other people that were in the grocery store took notice of our fight and ran away.
"Fine. I understand now that you are right. You aren't a little girl. You are a little brat." The blue-haired vampire said while he noticed that the attack that I landed onto him damaged his clothes and drenched his dark, blue jumpsuit with his own blood, turning it red in the process.
The blue-haired vampire proceeded to appear right in front of me in an instant so fast that I couldn't react quickly enough. The vampire bastard struck me so hard in the solar plexus that I dropped both of my weapons onto the floor, as I then went up into the air, and coughed up blood. The Vampire King dodged my blood spatter with ease and then grabbed me by the throat.
"Oh no, you don't. Your blood is very harmful towards vampires like me since it melts the skin off and damages them greatly." The blue-haired vampire said as he proceeded to squeeze me by the throat hard that which made me gasp for air while I was trying to claw at his arms so that I could get him off of me.
"By the way, my name is Weezer. One of the four, well now three since you killed Korn, Vampire Kings that are the greatest life forms on the planet! You got lucky that you somehow managed to kill Korn, but your luck has now run out dry! So you humans don't and will never stand a chance against us! So do me a favor and die already little brat!" Weezer said while he grasped my throat even harder to the point that tears were running down my eyes and my saliva was dripping from my mouth. I honestly thought I was going to die there to that vampire bastard.
But then something hit the back of the Vampire King Weezer which made him take his eyes off of me as he saw a certain short, pink-haired loli who was wearing a pink dress along with a light-pink jacket, as she was ramming a shopping cart into the blue-haired vampire.
"Stop hurting her! Let Aisa-chan go right now!" Tsukuyomi screamed while tears were pouring from her eyes as she shoved the shopping cart even harder into the blue-haired vampire's back.
"Fine, fine. I'll let the little brat go." Weezer said while he released his grasp on my throat which caused me to fall onto the floor as I gasped for breath.
"But since you obviously care for this little brat, I'll hurt you now to get a rise out of her!" Weezer said as he proceeded to flick Tsukuyomi in the stomach with his finger which caused her to go flying into a freezer that contained food as Tsukuyomi then coughed up some blood due to the impact, then she closed her eyes, and collapsed onto the floor.
"Wait, that's it? Really? I mean, I knew humans were weak, but that's just pathetic! Whatever, so where were we, you brat?" Weezer said as he proceeded to get punched in the face by a girl with long, straight, black hair with a blood-red gauntlet on her right hand.
"That was for my teacher, her name is Tsukuyomi, and you hurt her and called her pathetic! I won't let you get away with that, you vampire bastard!" I yelled at the top of my lungs while punching the blue-haired vampire in the stomach with my blood-red gauntlet.
"Not bad. But it's going to take more than that to actually hurt me, you brat." Weezer said while grabbing me by my left leg with his hand as he proceeded to dangle my body in the air.
"Red Boot!" I screamed as my left foot that had some of my blood on it, mutated and changed shape into a huge red-blood boot as I proceeded to kick the Vampire King Weezer in the face.
"Oh, I'm counting on it. You and me, we are just getting started, you annoying vampire bastard!" I yelled while kicking the Vampire King Weezer up into the air as I proceeded to slam my red-blood gauntlet onto the blue-haired vampire's head as he went crash landing onto the floor.
"You called Tsukuyomi pathetic. You called humans weak when compared to you Vampire Kings. But look where you are now, a human is stepping on you. You are the pathetic and weak one! You are just an ant that is being squashed by my boot!" I screamed as I continued to stomp on the blue-haired vampire's face with so much ferocity that my blows onto him made the floor crack and break apart. I'm going to kill him for hurting Tsukuyomi and for him being such an irritating, smug, vampire bastard!
But then as I was stepping on the Vampire King Weezer's face, my left leg was then grabbed by the blue-haired vampire's hand, while he lifted me into the air and proceeded to slam me onto the floor with so much force that I coughed up some of my blood out of my mouth in pain.
"You dare call me pathetic? A mere human called me pathetic? Hahaha! I was wrong about you again, you aren't a brat, and you are a bitch!" Weezer yelled as he proceeded to kick me so hard that I went flying across the grocery store and went crash landing into a shelf with food on it that then collapsed onto me.
"Dam it. I guess I used too much strength with that kick. Well whatever, I can just grab her again and beat the shit out of her so that little bitch regrets calling me pathetic! She will learn that Vampire Kings are superior to humans in every possible way imaginable as she cries and begs me to stop hurting her." Weezer said as he smiled while walking towards Himegami Aisa.
"Then after breaking every bone in her body, I'll make her watch me as I kill that short, pink-haired girl. Finally, once she is broken both physically and mentally, I'll grant that little bitch a brutal, horrifying death as I split her head open! Hahaha! That's what she deserves for insulting a superior life form like me!" Weezer said with a sadistic smile on his face as he walked even closer towards Himegami Aisa.
"I can't wait to make that little bitch suffer! Hahaha! What? What the hell? What the hell is this doing here in a grocery store?" Weezer said with a bewildered look on his face while he was stepping on a little girl toy doll, which then made a sound. Click.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM! The little girl toy doll then combusted onto the Vampire King Weezer as it then made a huge explosion that destroyed a part of the grocery store and utterly annihilated one of the blue-haired vampire's feet which then made him collapse onto the ground.
"What? How? Who the hell would put an explosive in a kid's toy? That hurt like hell!" Weezer said as he tried to stand up but then fell onto the floor again with only having one of his feet still connected to his legs since the other foot was blown to ashes by the little girl toy doll.
"Hahaha! My genius plan worked! So take that, you idiot! If I can manage to kill you right here, then that black-haired girl will owe me so much money! Prepare to die, you villain! Hahaha!" A girl with blonde hair and blue eyes said while wearing a black sailor top and a pleated skirt as she was giggling. The blonde-haired girl then grabbed two mini toys that were in the shape of bunnies which then proceeded to explode and propelled her towards the blue-haired vampire with the force of a cannonball that was launched from a pirate ship.
"That little girl did this to me? What the hell? Wait, she is fast!" Weezer said as the blonde-haired girl was propelled towards him at rapid speed. The blue-haired vampire then tried to grab the blonde-haired girl but she then propelled herself higher into the air to avoid the Vampire King's attack, the mini-explosions the girl created then impaired the vampire's eyes.
"Hahaha! Now it's time to unleash the grand finale of my attack! Here is the cavalry! Whatever your name is! Bombs away! Hahaha!" The blonde-haired girl said while giggling as she let several little girl toy dolls fall from her hands while she was in midair and near the roof of the grocery store as the little girl toy dolls rained down onto the Vampire King Weezer.
"What's going on? I can't see anything! No! You little bitch!" Weezer screamed as the little girl toy dolls fell onto him as they proceeded to combust and made a huge explosion that was even bigger than the previous explosion that destroyed the already damaged grocery store even further.
"Hahaha! I know I got him good with that one! Now let's see, eh? Where did he go? No way? He actually ran away? Aw, and the fight was just getting fun!" The blonde-haired girl said while pouting as she glided safely onto the ground. The blonde-haired girl then proceeded to walk towards a shelf that had collapsed onto a certain girl with long, straight, black hair.
"I'll grab this, then that, and I'll put this here, and done! Good afternoon, whatever your name is!" The blonde-haired girl said while getting the stuff that off of the black-haired girl as the blonde-haired girl moved some of her own hair that was in her face.
"Wait, no way? Is she dead? Come on; wake up, whoever you are!" The blonde-haired girl said as she proceeded to slap the black-haired girl's face many times to get her to open her eyes.
"My name is Himegami Aisa! You annoying brat!" I said while grabbing the blonde-haired girl's hands and slamming my forehead into her forehead which hurt both of us a lot.
"Ow! What was that for? I just saved your life from whoever that villain was and this is the thanks that I get?!" The blonde-haired girl yelled as she held both her hands to her forehead as a response to the pain that she now feels.
"You are dam right it is! You slapped me in the face multiple times which really hurt by the way! And I'm in a shitty mood after getting my ass handed to me on a silver platter by a vampire bastard, who also hurt my teacher, and was such an obnoxious asshole! Wait, what did you just say?" I said while ranting about the crappy situation that I was in when I fully acknowledged what this blonde-haired girl said to me as a confused look appeared on my face.
"I was saying that is this really what I deserve for helping you out of that collapsed shelf that was on top of you?" The blonde-haired girl said while putting her fist to her chin as she was remembering the words she said to me.
"No, before that you idiot," I said as I flicked the blonde-haired girl in the forehead in an effort to try and make her remember what I thought she recently said.
"Ow! You know that really hurts, you meanie! Oh yeah! I saved your butt from that guy who was beating the crap out of you who was wearing that tacky blue jumpsuit!" The blonde-haired girl said as she lifted her hand and made thumbs up towards me.
"Huh? What? You really beat that vampire bastard so that you could save my life?" I said with a bewildered look on my face as I couldn't understand why this girl would battle a Vampire King in an effort to save my life, we only just met and she barely knows me at all?
"Of course! I mean you are loud, annoying, you kind of smell with all that sweat on you, and that outfit doesn't look good on you at all." The blonde-haired girl said while pacing around in circles listing all the things that she didn't like about me. This annoying, short brat! This girl is really pissing me off as I thought to myself while veins started to bulge out of my forehead.
"But, you paid me that dollar earlier, which I can use to buy a chocolate bar with, so thanks! Plus you have a teacher that probably has some money that she can pay me with for saving your life! So I'll be able to buy even more snacks to fill up my belly! Oh and you are kind of cute, though you would look a lot better with a different outfit." The blonde-haired girl said while twirling her body around and pointing one of her fingers towards me with a cheerful smile on her face.
"I'm sorry for snapping on you like that. You saved my teacher's life. You saved my life. Thank you, um; what was your name again?" I said with a blushing, red face as I pointed one of my fingers at the blonde-haired girl out of the confusion of not remembering her name.
"Apology accepted! Your welcome! Wait, what? You seriously forgot my name? I told you already you dummy! It's Frenda! My name is Frenda Seivelun!" Frenda said while she pointed one of her fingers at herself as she complained towards me.
"Hahaha! So your name is Frenda? Really? You are being honest? Hahaha! That's a weird name!" I said while laughing really hard that tears were dripping from my eyes.
"What? My name isn't weird! So why are you laughing so much over it? Stop that, you jerk!" Frenda said as she proceeded to hit me in my stomach in retaliation, though her punches were thankfully soft and light.
"I'm sorry! I really am! So, thank you, Frenda! I really thought I was going to die to that vampire bastard, but you saved me! We barely know each other, so I'll reintroduce myself. My name is Himegami Aisa. You can call me Aisa! Thank you so much for saving me, Frenda!" I said with a cheerful smile on my face as I extended my arm towards Frenda so that we can shake hands.
"Eh? Why are being so nice all of a sudden? You are weird! But, um, you are welcome, Aisa." Frenda said while blushing really hard as she extended her arm as we then shook our hands.
"Hey, wait for a second! Did you just say that guy in the tacky blue jumpsuit is actually a vampire? What the heck does that even mean? Oh, I guess, it explains why he was oddly durable and that he somehow managed to get away from me." Frenda said while she put one of her fingers to her chin as she remembered the blue-haired vampire that she fought against.
"Huh? Did you just say that vampire bastard got away?" I said with a confused look on my face.
"Uh, yeah. I thought I had that guy, and I thought he was going to die for sure. But at the second, he disappeared. So, um, oops!" Frenda said while sticking her tongue out at me as she put a fist onto her head, which was kind of cute, I guess.
"Frenda! You idiot!" I yelled as I started to flick Frenda in her forehead multiple times in succession, for accidentally letting that vampire bastard getaway.
"Ow! Ow! Ow! Oh my god! You are just like Mugino! You know, I tried my best to stop that 'vampire', and I kind of sort of didn't think that he could actually escape my onslaught of attacks! It was an honest mistake! I'm sorry!" Frenda said while putting her hands to her forehead because of the finger flick attacks that I landed on her as she then pointed one of her fingers towards me with a few tears in her eyes.
"Oh, I see. I'm sorry, again, Frenda. I didn't understand the situation that you were in, and you still did save my life. So I'm sorry, Frenda." I said as I bowed my body in shame as I apologized to Frenda for my ignorant actions.
"Eh? You don't have to go that far? I mean, yes! I saved your life! So you owe me big time for that! I demand that you buy me whatever I want! No matter how expensive it is! Along with the reward money for helping you against that 'vampire' guy! So get ready to pay me for my work!" Frenda said with a mischievous look on her face as she got closer towards me.
"Hahaha! Don't push your luck, Frenda! I appreciate that you saved my life, I really do, but I can only give you a little bit of money because I have to hire a mercenary who can help me fight that vampire bastard!" I said with a smile on my face as I patted Frenda's head.
"Wait, did you just say that you need to hire a mercenary? Hahaha! Guess what? I'm actually a mercenary! I'm one of the four members of the most elite and dangerous mercenary group in all of Academy City! The Mercenary group called ITEM! I doubt that you have enough money to hire all four members of ITEM, but, you can hire just me instead! I'll even give you a discount because I really want to finish off that guy, I mean 'vampire' who escaped my grasp! I must have my revenge! So what do you say? Want to hire me, Aisa?" Frenda said with a huge smile on her face while I fell onto the floor, and she was only a few millimeters away from my face.
"Uh, I don't know? I don't even know what your powers are?" I said with bewilderment.
"All you need to know is that I have bombs! I have so many, many, many bombs!" Frenda said with a grin on her face while she was so close to me, I honestly thought she was going to kiss me. I don't know Frenda all that much, we only just met, and she is kind of annoying. But, she saved me. Frenda saved me and Tsukuyomi's lives. She did it for selfish reasons. But, for some reason, I really trust her. I'm willing to put my faith in her and trust her with my life.
"Hahaha! Ok Frenda, you have a deal! You can be my mercenary! So let's go hunt vampires together!" I said with a cheerful smile on my face as I accepted Frenda's offer.
"Aw come on! I really want to get to know you better! And I want revenge against that guy for, wait? Did you say yes? Yes! Yes! Yes! Wahoo! You can count on me Aisa! We are so going to kick so much vampire butt!" Frenda yelled as she grabbed me by my hands and helped me get back up on my feet.
"Yeah! I can't wait to work with you Frenda! But, uh, wait a minute? H-How much of this grocery store was destroyed?" I said awkwardly while internally praying that the damage wasn't too much.
"Um, it seems that a good 50% was annihilated by that guy, I mean 'vampire's' attacks and my bombs," Frenda said with a surprised face as she examined the damaged grocery store.
"Oh no. Since that vampire bastard left the grocery store, and that we, plus Tsukuyomi, are the only ones still here, Skill Out might think we performed the attacks on the grocery store. Plus, you have multiple bombs on you, don't you?" I said with absolute fear in my voice.
"Um, yeah, I still have my many, many, many bombs on me," Frenda said with a surprised face as she realized the situation that we are both currently in.
"We both have to run away together as fast as possible so that we aren't arrested for the damages!" We both said in unison as we pointed a finger at each other.
"I'll grab Tsukuyomi, I mean my teacher, while you prepare a getaway car! Do you know how to hotwire a car, Frenda?" I said with desperation in my voice as I grabbed Frenda's shoulders.
"Um, no. But! I know a guy who has a car, who is probably looking for me right now! I can call him!" Frenda said awkwardly while grabbing out her phone and showing it to me.
"Ok! I think that will work! Yeah! It will totally work! I believe in you Frenda! So tell that guy to get his ass over here as fast as possible right now!" I said while trying to convince myself that this insane plan will actually work.
"Leave it to me! I got that guy on speed dial, so I'll call him right now! I'm pretty sure that he is around here, I mean, he is definitely around here, for sure!" Frenda said awkwardly while tapping her phone in an effort to call that guy as fast as humanly possible.
We are so going to get arrested and go to prison, aren't we? I thought to myself while losing almost all hope of getting out of this horrible situation without any repercussions.
Hello everyone! Ren here! First things first, I apologize for the delay of this chapter, my computer was acting a little weird but it's fine now. Anyway, with this chapter, I wanted to finally introduce Frenda into the story who I have planned to put into the narrative from the very start. So it was very exciting for me to finally be able to write one of my favorite characters in the entire a certain series! I forgot to say earlier but the last chapter and this chapter's titles are both Weezer songs because I think they fit for the chapters and of course the Vampire King Weezer. The next chapter will be out on Sunday as usual, it might be a double but the recent chapters have been taking more time to produce as well as other things that I have to do so we'll see.
