I don't own these characters; Disney/ABC does.
A/N: hi, welcome to my first attempt at writing for the SwanQueen Supernova. I hope you enjoy. Special shout-out to my beta, Helpbutton95.

All For One
1: Upon Arrival
Regina had never been happier to see Storybrooke than she was when the Jolly Roger was close enough for her to see Storybrooke Harbor. There was only so much simpering she could watch between Emma and Rumple's disheveled spawn. It was clear that Emma did not want the attention, and was probably at war with herself to kick the cad in the crotch, it did not make it easier to watch. After all, Emma had chosen to go after him rather than follow Regina back in Neverland. Somehow, Emma thought that man-child would find and protect their son before Regina. It festered under her skin, even now, and itched in a way she could not ignore, though she tried her damnedest.
The ship rocked as it touched down in the water, sending up huge waves that wet those along the rails and people on the docks. Those idiots cheered despite being soaked and honestly Regina was right there with them. Regina waited for all the necessary procedures to secure the ship before she disembarked, ignoring the crowd as she made her way through them. They were too excited with the return of their brain-dead leaders to bother her. That was their good fortune, though, not hers.
The cool air blew in Regina's face, so different from the heavy air in Neverland. Neverland can become a distant memory. While that thought should have brought her comfort, it made her stomach drop. So much had changed in Neverland. Yes, it was awful, but some good had come from it. She and Emma had become so much closer in Neverland, worked as a team, as a unit, and not only moved the moon, a grand feat in and of itself, but also came to understand each other so much better, which might have been the greatest feat of all considering how private they both were. We can still work on the good. That doesn't need to change because of the location. Or so she hoped.
Regina shook those thoughts away and focused on what was most important. Henry. She waited for him to step off the ship, but he seemed to be taking his time. Looking up at the deck, she caught sight of what was holding Henry up. Henry was, of course, enamored with his birth father, speaking with him and looking at him as if he hung the stars in the sky. Little does he know he has mothers who can move the moon for him. But, they were not new and shiny. She shook that off, not wanting to go down that train of thought.
She would have to talk to Henry about expectations to see what he wanted from the man who abandoned him before he was born and left his birth mother to rot in prison. Probably shouldn't start the conversation like that, though. She needed to get away from this ship and these people soon to get rid of these disquieted thoughts.
To distract herself from her thoughts on Henry, Regina kept an eye out for Tinker Bell. They had not really discussed what Tinker Bell would do in Storybrooke, but Regina promised to get her wings back for her. She found Tinker Bell standing on the ship, looking out into the crowd, lost. She locked eyes with Regina, who waved her over. Tinker Bell took a breath so deep, Regina could see it plainly from yards away. Then, she took her first steps to shore. Tinker Bell made it to her side long before Henry would.
"Blue's out there," Tinker Bell said.
"She is," Regina replied as a statement of fact, nothing more.
Tinker Bell frowned. "So, go make her give me back her wings. I know you can. You killed Peter Pan, after all."
"I did and I will. I just want to get settled in before I continue menacing the town," Regina said. She wanted to reconnect with Henry before anything else. To get their small life back together. She also needed him to understand why she was going to step to the Blue Fairy before she did so, since he believed the Blue Fairy was some great good like the rest of the town thought.
Tinker Bell glowered at her. "You promised and you have the power to do it, so just do it."
"I will. Just give me a moment," Regina replied through gritted teeth. She would keep her promise to Tinker Bell, but she needed to go about things diplomatically. The last thing she wanted was for Emma to face up against her for fighting with that gnat, Blue. She and Emma had built too much in Neverland for her to toss it to the wind by facing Snow's greatest ally and making Emma choose sides.
Tinker Bell sneered at her before she stormed away, like she knew where she was going. Regina did not bother to chase her. She would find Tinker Bell later. Instead, she turned her attention back to the crowd around the ship.
Henry was among the last to leave the ship. He was with Emma, Snow White, the shepherd, and the man-child. His biological family. Would Henry still favor them, even though it was Regina who saved his life, even though it was her magic that protected his heart even now? It would seem so. He had barely acknowledged her on the ship once he was able to leave the cabin. She was not sure what that would translate to now that the grand adventure was over and they were back home. She would find out soon enough.
"Hey, Mom," Henry said as she stepped in his path. In the light of Storybrooke, he appeared almost bright while in Neverland and on the ship, he had been ashen, grey, even when he was safe in the bed.
"Henry." Regina could not help the smile on her face, even though there was already a stabbing pain in her chest. "Ready to go home?"
Henry looked at Emma, who stepped forward with a sheepish smile on her face, like she was embarrassed. Regina tried to brace herself, really tried. But, inside, she had already crumbled like a broken sand castle. Her soul withered like Peter Pan's body as she crushed his heart for daring to target her son. Her son who did not want her, even though she would go to the ends of all realms for him.
"So, we were talking—" Emma said, but Regina cut in immediately.
"Who is 'we'?" Regina asked with some bite. If "we" were more than Emma and Henry, then there was nothing to discuss.
"All of us," Snow replied with the bravery that came from having the entire town at her back should Regina oppose her. Regina would still oppose her. Those gnats did not mean a damn thing to her.
Regina could feel the vein in her forehead rising as she tried to remain calm. People who had been useless as her son faced death had the nerve to think they had a say in what happened to him now? The gall! Of course, it was not surprising. Snow and her merry band of idiots thought they were always right. And, they seemed to think they had a claim on Henry because of blood ties, like she, his mother, did not matter at all.
"And who is 'all of us'?" Regina's gaze swept over their group that included Rumple and his fool offspring. "You decided amongst yourselves that a stranger and the Dark One had a say in what my son was going to do? Did you let the pirate have a vote as well?" Regina flung both hands in Hook's direction as he made sure his ship was secure. She fought the urge to sink the damn thing, but it proved more useful than it's owner and she did not see the point in punishing the one good thing Hook provided in Neverland. In that regard, he actually did more Snow White and the shepherd.
Emma held up her hands in surrender. "We all just want what's best for Henry." And had this just come from her, maybe Regina could have believed her, but now it felt like a betrayal. Everything that happened in Neverland was nothing more than a means to an end, a way to use her, which was fine. They got Henry back and he was everything.
Regina fumed, though. It was more than Emma betraying her, but Emma folding like a damn lawn chair with parents she had expressed so much frustration over in Neverland. Surely smoke had to be coming out of Regina's ears. "Again, who the hell is we? Suddenly, there's a parenting committee when it comes to my son?"
"He's not just your son. Didn't this trip to Neverland prove that?" Emma replied with a little bit of hurt in her voice. How dare she act like the injured party here?
"It proved that you're all dead weight when it comes to caring for and about Henry," Regina said with hard glare. Emma rightfully flinched.
The man-child stepped up, right in Regina's face. His hot breath in her face, burning her eyes. The smell of Neverland wafting from him, threatening to choke her. She locked eyes with him, staring him down like she would any other enemy. He had seen enough Hell to not look away. But, he had never seen anything like her, especially now. She could swat him like a fly and his father would only be able to look on in horror. Fortunately for him, her son would not like that.
"You can't talk to them like that," he said with all the bravery of a child. A child who had no idea what she was capable of.
"Oh, but I can. I'm his mother. I'm not the idiots who let him get kidnapped. The same idiots who shoved their own child into a damn tree into the unknown. And, I'm sure as hell not leaving his fate in the hands of a man he just met and that man's father who has never cared about anyone's well-being beyond what it could for him," she replied. She glanced at Rumple, daring him to try. After Neverland, after she crushed the heart of Peter fucking Pan, Rumple would think twice about testing her patience. But, that was his fault. He chose to corrupt her for her lineage and now her potential had been tapped. The cap was off the bottle. Her power would not be contained again.
"Mom!" Henry moved to the front. "I asked to go with them."
Even though Regina knew that, for Henry to say it out loud was like a gut punch. It took all the wind, and righteous indignation, right out of her. She tried to stand tall, but from the pity-filled gaze Emma gave her, she knew she wilted right in front of her worst enemies.
"You… You don't want to go home?" Regina asked, her voice softer than she ever would like it to be in front of Rumple or Snow. It was like a shattered whisper. She could not help it, not with her son standing before her, telling her outright he did not want her or anything she provided him with. He had not been home since she allowed him to leave with David, to protect him from her. But, she had gotten better since then. She had gone to see Doctor Hopper to try to understand herself better. She saved Emma and Snow White in the Old World. She was prepared to die to save this miserable town. She had gone to Neverland and bared her soul as her body reformed itself without her permission. She destroyed a demi-god for Henry and it was all for naught. Why would you think otherwise? No good deed has ever gone unpunished for you.
Henry glanced back. "I just want to spend time with my family."
"Your family…" Regina could see the demented giggle in Rumple's eyes, even though he did not make a sound.
"I'll bring him by in the morning," Emma said, as if that would make this all better.
Regina almost said "don't bother," but her tongue could not form the words. She just wanted her son to love her. Was that too much to ask? Even her abusive mother could have loved her if she had her damn black heart in her chest. She had to face facts. Henry, like almost everyone else, would never love her and no matter what her feats were he would choose the Charmings. Pure and simple. Apparently, he got it from his mother.
"If that is his wish," Regina replied in the strongest voice she could muster, which was still much too hurt and she turned on her heel to walk away. No need to continue embarrassing herself.
"Regina, wait!" Emma trotted up alongside her.
"What do you want now, Miss Swan? Literally the shirt off my back? You already have my child."
"Don't take this personally. Henry's been through a lot, even before Neverland. He just needs…" Emma trailed off, as if she did not know how to finish the sentence without insulting Regina.
"What? Security? Love? Comfort? Which of those things am I incapable of providing?" Regina scoffed. "It's not about what he needs, Miss Swan. It's about what he wants. He wants blood relatives, something I will never be. Therefore, I will never be good enough."
"Regina…" Emma had the gall to grab her hand. With a glare, Regina snatched it away, but not before a spark zipped through her. It was similar to a static shock, but mellow, like a warm current between them. They glanced away from each other.
"Just leave me be, Miss Swan." Regina sighed as she began to walk away with Emma following her. "We've accomplished our goal, so no need to bother feigning interest in my wellbeing. Go watch your baby daddy and pirate fight for your hand as your parents try to turn you into the perfect princess. Enjoy Henry. Don't let your idiots lose him again." Regina walked faster. Emma did not follow that time, and somehow, even that hurt. I shouldn't be surprised that she wants to stay with them. They're everything she ever wanted.
Regina was used to feeling pain and rage coursing through her at all times, but this was different. It was a gnawing sensation in her bones and like barbed wire dragging down her nerves. It reminded her that she was a fool, just as much as the other morons in that town. Why had she had faith in Emma? Why had she thought she could set things right? Why did she continue to believe somehow she had happiness coming to her? Why did she think the savior could live up to her name?

Emma tried to ignore the fact that it felt like her guts spilled out into the street as she watched Regina walk away. She was surprised she did not see the knife in Regina's back that she knew she had just put there with her words. But, Henry wanted to come with her. They should try to make him comfortable his first few days back, right? That was just good parenting and she wanted to be a good parent. Regina should be proud of her for that. You know that's not what just happened.
"Emma, they're talking about throwing us a welcome back party!" Henry seemed to appear by her side and grabbed her hand, pulling Emma back to the crowd.
"Even though it was quiet here for the five days you guys were gone. Seems like we're celebrating the return of chaos," Grumpy said and it did not look like he was joking.
"Relax, it's not like we invited the Evil Queen," Doc replied and there was laughter.
Emma flinched. This just added on the betrayal she had just dealt Regina, who was the only person to keep her sane while she was in Neverland. And this is how you pay her back, take her son and run right back to the people who caused all of this grief in the first place. No one ever said Emma was well adjusted or made good decisions, though. Regina herself would never mistake Emma for intelligent. Yeah, but this is pretty stupid even for you.
"Maybe after the party, the sheriff could actually do something about the Evil Queen," Grumpy said, glaring at Emma. Emma gave the look back. Who the hell did he think he was? She was not his personal sheriff.
"Hey, Emma just got back." Ruby shoved Grumpy slightly. "Let her catch her breath and have a good time before you try to stress her out again." Grumpy growled at her and Ruby growled right back. He wisely backed away.
Ruby focused on Emma and her family. Ruby squealed with a bright grin and wasted no time embracing Mary Margaret, who hugged her back with just as much enthusiasm. Before Emma figured out what happened, she was next. Ruby squeezed her so tight, it was like she wanted to break Emma in half.
Emma groaned. "I think you're doing this at full strength, bud."
Ruby laughed and loosened up. "Sorry about that. Just happy you made it back in one piece." And then she turned to Henry and squealed again. "You're okay!" She released Emma to grab Henry into a hug. From the way he groaned, that embrace was also crushing.
"I missed you guys," Henry said in a strained voice, his face growing red.
"We all missed you, too! Now, we can celebrate in style!" Ruby threw her hands up. "Party at Granny's!"
"This is gonna be so cool. I can get to know Dad at the party," Henry said with a smile aimed at Emma.
Whatever was left in Emma after her interaction with Regina fled her body at the mention of "dad." She was not sure how she remained on her feet. She was zapped and surprised she did not see her soul leave her body. It was already too much seeing Henry talk to Neal on the ship.
Emma had been able to pretend Neal would somehow vanish once they were back in Storybrooke, but no, he was still there. Not only was he there, but Henry stood next to him and Mary Margaret looked at him as if he hung the moon rather than hung her daughter out to dry.
Maybe I should've run after Regina. No. Emma wanted to try to have a family. It was her greatest desire in life. Regina knew that. Of course, Regina also knows how you feel from the way these people treat you and yet here you are with them. But, having a family was her one wish in life. So, she took a deep breath and sucked up her decision, if not for her, then for the crying child she once was who could not figure out why no one wanted her.

Regina walked all the way home, feeling eyes on her as she made her way through the town, setting sun at her back. No one made a move against her, so she let it go. They could watch and that would force her to keep it together. She would never falter in front of these peons.
And then she discovered why she had an audience. They were not watching her with caution or fear. They were watching with anticipation. They wanted to see her reaction to their great act of defiance.
Her house was gone. In its stead was a blackened pile of dirt, ash, and still smoking debris. These bastards had burned her home to the ground while she was off rescuing a son who practically disowned her after she slew a god for him and put his heart back in his chest. She should be furious. She should be erupting. Fire should be everywhere, raining from the sky, bursting from the ground, showing them she could now seriously smite them. Instead, she laughed and shook her head. The crowd that had formed behind her took a step back, not sure what to make of her now. She slowly turned to face them.
"Bravo, peasants. Bravo." She applauded them.
"If you think you can just fix it with magic, we made sure you couldn't!" a faceless idiot in the crowd said.
"Yeah, we used fairy dust! Next, we'll use it to capture you."
Before Regina could figure out what that meant, a water balloon full of fairy dust splashed cold against her chest. She gasped and instinctively created a fireball. The crowd gasped altogether. Why are they so surprised? They knew I could do that.
"How can you move?"
"The fairy dust should neutralize you!"
Oh. Regina chuckled darkly as she waved out the fireball. "Well, this is awkward. You see, in Neverland, I sort of…" Regina paused, trying to think of the best way to put it. Henry's comic books came to mind. "I upgraded. This is Regina 2.0. Fairy dust, pixie dust, or whatever other type of fluttery creature's excrement you might try to throw at me will probably fail as well." Regina dropped the lighthearted tone and glared into the mob. "Think about your next move very carefully."
There were some mutterings, but the wisest of them went on their way. Regina took a step and the rest of the roaches scattered. She turned back to the smoldering remains of her house. Raising her hand, she made a fist, attempting to reconstruct the house with magic. Nothing happened, not even sparks. Of course nothing happened. Why should something go your way? From the feel of it, they had salted the ashes and her magic was much too dark to overcome that.
Taking a breath, she marched through the debris, sparks popping up under her feet, and discovered there was nothing left. It was all gone. And then, something poked out under a blacked piece of wood that might have been her bookcase. Bending down, it was a picture of her holding Henry, pressing him to her front. Her face was burned away, but Henry remained with a stoic look on his eight-year-old face. Very appropriate.
Beyond that picture, everything was gone. She had nothing left, save the clothes on her back. This is what happens when you're part demon. Everything was truly gone. She had nothing. No house. No son. No one.
"Regina," a familiar voice made her turn.
Regina was faced with the slender form of an old friend. "D'Artagnan."
"Hey, I thought you might need a hand or a shoulder when you got back. I'm here if you need me."
Regina glanced at the smoking pile that was once her home and then back at D'Artagnan. Was there really a choice? She left with D'Artagnan.
-8-8-8-8-
Emma was almost in shock at how quickly the town threw together a welcome back party for them at Granny's. No one in town knew when to expect them back, but they had things at the ready for their beloved leaders, Snow White and Prince Charming. Emma was an extra, just like when they returned from Fairy Tale Land.
In mere moments after they arrived at the diner with the sun setting, Granny's was full of people. There were hugs and congratulations, even though the one person who deserved almost all of the credit was not there. It felt so wrong to celebrate without Regina that it actually made Emma itch. She scratched her forearm as she cut through the sea of people, all literally patting her on the back. She fought back the urge to shrug them off. Isn't there some kinda maximum capacity law or something?
Emma found a quiet corner to call Regina. The phone went straight to voicemail. Emma tried again with the same result. That was weird. Regina would never be out of reach if she did not have Henry with her. Emma went over to Henry to let him know she was going to step away for a moment.
"I keep trying to reach your mom, but she's not picking up. I'm going to go check on her," Emma told Henry, who was locked in a conversation with Neal, Or the Dark One junior as Emma would start calling him.
Henry frowned. "Maybe she fell asleep. It took a lot of power for her to beat Pan."
Emma reluctantly nodded. That was possible. Regina pushed herself hard in Neverland, but never seemed to feel it. They chalked it up to Neverland's weird effect on magic. Regina claimed it actually gave her a boost, awakening powers that were dormant inside of her. She had called herself a demon. But, fighting Pan with his home court advantage might have changed things.
"I'd still feel better if I checked on her," Emma said. Maybe talk to her and explain to her what the hell happened down at the dock. Apologize for being an asshole.
"I can come with you," Henry said. "Dad, too."
Emma glanced at a smirking Neal and openly flinched. "No, you both stay here. Enjoy the party. It's probably nothing. I just want to make sure."
"You sure?" Henry's eyes glistened with worry. "I mean, we're usually a team. We broke the Curse together, remember?" He put his chin in the air.
"Yeah, I remember. Like you said, she probably fell asleep. That's what I would do if I were home. I just want to be sure." The town was probably still pissed with Regina and might try to mess with her. They had no idea they were messing with the magical equivalent of a rabid mountain lion now that it seemed Henry rejected her yet again.
Emma was barely at the door before she heard Mary Margaret call her name. She resisted the groan as she turned to see Mary Margaret right next to her. "Where are you going?" Her voice was soft and her face concerned and it tore at Emma's insides. Where was that concern and care in Neverland?
"Just checking on Regina." Emma rushed off before her mother could object or her thoughts could drown her. Just when she thought she was in the clear, there was a jerk to her elbow. She spun around, fist raised, only to be face to face with Hook. Groan.
"And where are you off to in such a rush, love? Looking for me no doubt." He smirked. "Well, worry not. I have arrived."
Emma shook her head. The ego on this guy. "I've got to go check on something."
"Allow me to accompany you."
"No, that's all right. You enjoy the party. You deserve it." She had no doubt he would eat up the attention and let everyone think he was some great hero.
He glanced away for a second and that was all the time Emma needed. She all but ran off to get away from Hook. I'm going to have to learn to teleport if I ever want to leave without half a dozen people questioning me. Regina would probably teach her. Regina still believed she needed to know magic. Well, if she's still talking to me anyway.
Emma was in luck that her car was at the station and she could walk there, as she had little desire to walk all the way to Regina's house. The drive to Regina's house was quick. The street was quiet and Regina's house was… gone. What the hell? Her heart sank.
Emma almost forgot to stop the car before she got out of the bug. She walked up to where the mansion once stood, feeling for the structure in case Regina cloaked it somehow. But, nope. The house was really gone. Using her phone's flashlight as night settled in, Emma examined the remains. The house burned down from what she could tell. Who the hell would do this?
"Are you looking for the Queen?" a voice called.
Emma turned to see a woman standing on the sidewalk. She was a small lady, wrapped in a housecoat to guard against the cold. Emma remained on guard, even though she seemed harmless. She did not know every citizen of Storybrooke and the woman could easily be a witch or a monster or something. "Yeah. Have you seen Regina?"
"She was here earlier. A small mob was coming for her."
Emma's stomach dropped and her throat burned. "Is she all right?"
"No one hurt her. They tried, but it didn't work."
"Do you know where she is now?" Emma asked, unable to hide the worry in her voice. Although, I should probably be worried about the morons trying to start stuff with Regina rather than worried for Regina.
The woman's face changed. A digested sneer settled on her formerly calm features. "She ran off with that damned D'Artagnan, as if she has no other friends here."
"D'Artagnan?" Emma could feel her forehead wrinkle as she tried to take that in. Could it really be that D'Artagnan? Since this was Storybrooke, yeah. But, if it was that D'Artagnan, why did this woman make such an awful face? D'Artagnan was a good guy. "Do you know where they went?"
"Probably back to that degenerate's house. The Queen should know better than to associate with such a person." The woman looked like something smelled bad as she shook her head.
"You seem like you like Regina."
The woman nodded. "I hold no ill will toward the Queen." She pursed her lips and made no secret of looking Emma up and down. "What about you?"
"I don't have a problem with Regina." Yet. You did just leave her in the lurch here and then she left to find out her house burned to the ground, alone. Some hero you are, just like you were such a great leader in Neverland. Emma shook those thoughts away and pressed on, if only to escape the stupid voice in her head. "So, you mind telling me what happened here?" She pointed to the giant lot where Regina's house once stood.
"Not much to tell. The day after you and the Queen left to rescue your son, a mob showed up with torches and set the house ablaze. Then, The Blue Fairy then put down a mix of Pixie dust and salt to make sure nothing would ever grow here and no magic would be ever to fix it. They wanted revenge."
"Yeah, except they forgot the whole reason the damn curse broke in the first place lived here, too. They burned Henry's home to the ground." Emma growled and made a fist. These people were such idiots. Henry had helped them and they repaid his kindness by doing this. This is why you don't help people. People were the worst.
"You have to remember, a mob doesn't think, just reacts. They were certain they got justice."
Emma scoffed. "Looks more like arson."
"They didn't see it that way. Go talk to your celebrating friends. Much has happened in the week you've been gone, much of it not for the better."
Emma frowned. She was not mentally prepared for more Storybrooke nonsense just yet. She needed a moment to catch her breath. Or at least a moment to figure out what to do with her parents, Neal, and Henry.
"Why are you helping me?" Emma asked.
The woman shrugged. "We're not all enemies of the Queen, even if we have reason to be. You understand that better than most, Sheriff."
Emma nodded. "Thanks for your help."
"Also, some of us like the freedoms and structure of this new world. We're more than most assume. Just something for you to pass along to your party goers. It doesn't take much for a revolt and it doesn't take much for a revolt to become a revolution."
"Got it." Or Emma would as soon as she found out what was happening around town.
The woman walked back to her house — or maybe floated. Emma could not tell with the dim streetlights and did not dwell on it. She hopped back in her car and was back at Granny's within the blink of an eye. The mood to party was all but dead inside her as she watched the guests and wondered. Are you one of the assholes that burned Regina's house down? Did you take Henry's childhood home from him? She did not ask just yet. She did not want to upset Henry.
Beyond that, she was not sure how she would tell Henry what happened to his house. From the way she felt right now, guts all twisted up, she might just grab someone and shake that person to find out if they had anything to do with the arson. I should probably have a drink to calm down. She did not get that chance.
"Everything okay?" Ruby asked as she fell by Emma's side. "Why do you smell like a fire pit?"
Emma took Ruby by the elbow and yanked her toward the kitchen. "When were you going to tell me they burned Regina's house to the ground?" Emma asked in a harsh whisper as soon as the door closed behind her.
Ruby snorted and waved her arms around. "Obviously later. I wanted to give you a chance to celebrate and take a breath."
"What if I had sent Henry home with her?"
"Well, first, I'd question your sanity and then I'd tell you why that would be a bad idea. Then I'd tell you the townies burned down Regina's house."
"What townies?"
Ruby shrugged. "A damn mob. They weren't wearing name tags. Look, it's been a wild week since you left. I can catch you up later. For now, go enjoy yourself. Get drunk or something."
Emma did not want to, but did not have an argument to fight it. "One more thing."
"Yeah?"
"You ever heard of D'Artagnan?"
Ruby screwed up her face. "Well, as Ruby, of course, but as Red, never."
"Okay." The woman on Regina's block said D'Artagnan's name like everyone knew it, but Ruby was not familiar with D'Artagnan from Fairy Tale Land.
The second they rejoined the party, Henry was at her side. "Everything okay?"
In that instance, Emma understood why Ruby did not say anything about the house. Emma did not want to ruin his good time. He had barely escaped Neverland with his life or sense of self. Now, she was supposed to tell him, a kid, that all his worldly goods were gone? Not yet. He deserved a night to relax.
"Everything's okay for now. I need more information and I'll get that tomorrow. Let's enjoy the party." Emma redirected toward some cake. They both got chocolate slices and then Neal was at her back. She slipped away from him only to have Hook appear at her elbow. She needed a drink. On her way to get one, she glanced at her parents and they smiled at her like everything was all good. She needed several drinks. Just remember, you abandoned Regina for this.

Next time: find out more about where Regina went and Emma has to deal with her decision.
