Chapter 21: Vampire Killer
My left eye was completely opened as I knew exactly what was in front of me right now, both of my eyes were wide open because I have already made my declaration of war, which was that I would save Nanoha, defeat the Vampire Emperor Franz Ferdinand and end this Night of Nights forever. That was the ultimate goal of Aisa Himegami as she made her way towards the massive castle that belonged to Franz Ferdinand. That giant castle was previously in the dark, night sky, but it was now knocked down due to the defeat of the Vampire Titan Nickelback and the doors to it were right in front of my body.
"Finally, it's almost over. Now, it's time to finish this." I muttered to myself in a low voice that no one could hear except me, while I made a fighting stance, as I prepared myself to take the final steps that would lead to my final fight.
"Iron Silver Gauntlet!" I yelled as the complete picture of the gauntlet in my mind became fully realized as an iron-blood-silver gauntlet was projected from my mind and into my hands. I proceeded to hit both of the doors multiple times in succession with each other and I then gave it one final punch as both of the doors completely crumbled to dust. The leftover remains that once were part of the doors blew away into the wind never to be seen again. Jeez! Was I that pissed off that I used some of my pent-up anger on those poor doors that did nothing at all to me?! Well, what's done is done, I thought to myself as I gave a silent prayer towards where both of the doors of the massive castle used to be in order to make sure that they rest in peace.
Once I finished my prayer for both of the doors that I completely obliterated with my Iron Silver Gauntlet, I proceeded to walk inside the now completely open entrance of the massive castle that did not want me to go into it, or so I thought. As soon as I walked into the entranceway of the Vampire Emperor Franz Ferdinand's castle, I was immediately greeted by three girls that I already knew. I already knew all of these three girls, because they are the loyal royal guards that serve their lord, Franz Ferdinand, and the three girls are called the Spice Girls by that Vampire Emperor guy. On instinct, I went into a fighting stance as I prepared myself to fight all three of them at once.
"The girl with the Esper ability, Deep Blood, Himegami Aisa. Please lower your guard. We all do not wish to fight you under our final order by our master. Honored guest, allow us to escort you throughout this castle." All three of the Spice Girls spoke in unison with each other as they bowed towards me in order to show their own way of hospitality. I noticed that all three of these girls looked exactly the same, aside from their hair colors, which bugged me for some reason. And on instinct, I proceeded to ask the three girls my question that shouldn't matter to me in the slightest.
"Hey, Spice Girls, right? I have a meaningless question that won't change anything at all, but I'm still curious about it. Other than your hair colors, you wear the same golden armor and you all have the exact same facial features along with your height and bodies too. I guess, what I'm trying to say is why do you all look so similar to each other?" I said with an emotionless expression on my face while I looked towards the three girls and made sure that my thoughts were correct. Why did I ask such a useless question that shouldn't mean anything to me in the slightest? I don't know. All I knew was that it was annoying me for some inexplicable reason so I asked them that was all there was to it. The Spice Girls immediately answered me.
"The reason why we all look so similar to each other is fairly easy to answer. We, the Spice Girls, were all created by our master, the Vampire Emperor Franz Ferdinand, so we are absolutely artificial life-forms. If we had to make a comparison to get the point across, we are all very similar to the Vampire King Korn, whom you fought against about two weeks ago. The Vampire King Korn was a homunculus and we are fundamentally the same in the components that we were made with. Our master made us this way so that we would resemble his deceased loved one." The three girls spoke again in unison with each other in a very robotic tone of voice with the same emotionless expressions on their faces as they continued to bow towards me in respect.
"I don't really understand how you were all made, but, I think I get the gist of it. All three of you Spice Girls were all created in the same exact way so that you would all look exactly the same. And it was on purpose so that you would resemble Franz Ferdinand's loved one, which probably means the most important person in his life. So he is the same as me." I said with a cold voice while I kept the same blank expression on my face as I looked towards the three girls. Do I feel bad for them? Maybe a little bit. Then why did I ask that question? I guess that I wanted to know what type of person I'm fighting against. Now that I know, it's clear to see that we are both the same.
"I understand now. But, since that was my only question, I'll be going now. Oh, and you girls don't need to escort me, I'll be fine on my own. I already have a clear idea of where the Vampire Emperor is, so I will be going to fight him. And just so you know, I'm planning to take his life nothing is going to stop me from doing that. So, if you Spice Girls want to stop me, this will be your very last chance to do so." I said with that same emotionless expression on my face while I spoke towards them in a cold and cruel voice, as I wasn't looking towards the three girls anymore. Why did I give say all of that stuff? Why did I give them the opportunity to fight me? It must be because he is doing the same thing for me. So I will give them one last chance to fight.
"Even still, we do not seek to fight you, a human girl with the Esper ability, Deep Blood, Himegami Aisa. Our master gave us his one final order, and we will not break his last order, no matter what happens. This is because we have complete and absolute faith in our master. Our master, the Vampire Emperor Franz Ferdinand will not lose the fight against you. Our master will be the victor, and you will lose. We are all not saying this out of spite, it's because you have no chance to defeat our master. So your failure has already been decided." The Spice Girls spoke in unison with each other again, while not diverting from each other whatsoever as they stood up.
"Haha! You are one hell of a tough crowd to be around! But, I guess that is to be expected from the most loyal of the servants that Franz Ferdinand possesses. Honestly, I hate all three of you with every fiber of my being because of what you did to my friend, Frenda. However, your dedication and unwavering belief that you all have for your lord that I can respect. Farewell, Spice Girls, let's hope that we never see each other again." I said with a slight smile on my face, while I proceeded to walk away from the three girls, as I gave them a wave of my hands which signaled the end of our encounter. I thought that was the last time I would look at them, until-
"Y-You b-bastard! I-I r-refuse to let y-you walk any further away from m-me! Even if I-I have to r-reject my m-master's o-order, I-I will! I-I will n-never let y-you anywhere near my m-master! I-I will k-k-k-kill you m-myself, H-Himegami A-Aisa!" One of the three girls changed how she was acting towards me and adopted an extremely hostile attitude while she grabbed my one of wrists with a very tight grip along with murderous intent in her eyes. Shit! There goes my big mouth again! I must have really pissed her off if she is rejecting her lord's wishes! Damn it! Why did I have to go and say all of that stuff with that ice-cold voice?! I already knew the answer to my question. It's because I wanted things to be fair between all of us.
"Oh no! What am I going to do now?! There is no way that I, a single, young, and beautiful girl can possibly defeat these three menacing vampires that want to take my life! I will surely be killed! What am I supposed to do now?!" I screamed with an expression of fake fear brimming from my face while I spoke in the most over-the-top tone of voice that I could possibly pull off towards the three Spice Girls.
If it wasn't already obvious, I was acting that I was scared. However, I wasn't acting because I had a vendetta against these girls. The reason why I was acting that I was terrified in a very pathetic way, was because I really did need help. There was no possible way for me to survive if all three of them ganged up on me. I would be annihilated without a doubt. So now I was trying to pull off a performance that would be a signal towards my friends and comrades. Come on! Come on! Please work! If this doesn't work, then I really will die! And then, what answered my desperate plea for my own survival was a gust of wind along with utter silence.
"Eh? Huh? What gives? I said that I will surely be killed soon so what I'm supposed to do now?! Uh, where is everyone? Oh crap! Did no one actually hear my declaration of war? And was I really talking to myself like some buffoon?! Uh, ahaha! You know, I was joking when I said that my plan was to kill your lord, I really didn't mean anything by it! I'm being one hundred percent honest right now! So, um, is there any chance that I will be let off the hook?" I said with a sheepish smile on my face while I lifted my other arm that wasn't being gripped tightly by one of the Spice Girls in surrender. Oh no! If this really doesn't work then I really will die, won't I?! Please work! Please work! Please work! I then proceeded to look towards the pink-haired Spice Girl who was gripping my left arm, and in her eyes wasn't any pity whatsoever and only murderous intent. Yeah, I'm completely screwed and I'm going to die.
"Mel, what are you doing?! Why are you going against our master's order? You are about to harm the girl with the Esper ability, Deep Blood, Himegami Aisa! That is a direct violation of our master's order! If you refuse to stop holding her hand like that, we will be forced to terminate you!" The other two Spice Girls with blonde and black hair spoke in unison with each other while they made a fighting stance in order to remove the pink-haired one named Mel by force if necessary. Holy shit! Now, these other two girls are preparing to fight the pink one?! I mean, I'm glad that I might have some help, but they might accidentally kill me in the process!
"I-I r-refuse! I-I r-refuse! I-I r-refuse! I-I r-refuse! I-I r-refuse! I-I r-refuse! I-I r-refuse! I-I r-refuse! I-I r-refuse! I-I r-refuse! I-I r-refuse! I-I r-refuse! I-I r-refuse! I-I r-refuse! I-I REFUSE! I REFUSE TO LET THIS FUCKING BITCH ANYWHERE NEAR MY MASTER! I WILL COMPLETELY ANNIHILATE THIS PIECE OF SHIT FROM THIS PLANET!" The pink-haired Spice Girl called Mel roared at the top of her lungs while stuttering like a robot that was malfunctioning and on the verge of exploding as she was about to strike me in an effort to kill me in order so that her lord won't have to suffer.
Holy shit! Holy shit! Holy shit! T-This girl is serious! She is actually going to try and kill me! What am I supposed to do? I can't project any more weapons right now because of the toll it has taken on my body! I can only project one or two more weapons at most and I was planning to save them for the fight against that Vampire Emperor guy! I can't use them on this pink-haired girl! But if I don't use at least one, I will die for sure! I don't have a choice! I will have to use only a single weapon against that pink-haired Spice Girl-BOOM! I couldn't finish thinking of a plan because a huge explosion suddenly echoed throughout the castle.
"CHARGE!" A certain voice roared near the entranceway of the massive castle while I and the Spice Girls looked towards the scream in absolute shock and surprise and to our utter disbelief what we all saw next were multiple young-looking girls that looked identical to each other! The identical-looking girls all had chestnut hair and each of them was wearing the Tokiwadai Middle School uniform while sporting white loose/slouch socks and brown loafers with a light brown vest sweater over a white blouse and a grey skirt.
All of them looked exactly the same except for one subtle difference they were all wearing the same exact special-looking goggles, other than the one who was in front of them who appeared to be the leader of the group. Were they all twin sisters? No, that's impossible there are at least fifty of them in this castle right now! Perhaps they were all clones? That could very well be the truth, but that doesn't really matter right now. Whoever these girls did not concern me in the slightest as soon as I saw that all of them were riding motorcycles and carrying guns! I really hope that these girls are my allies!
What happened next might have very well have been an answer to my prayers because the identical-looking girls proceeded to fire their guns directly towards the pink-haired Spice Girl named Mel that was still gripping my left arm tightly. As soon as they pierced Mel's body, I used that chance to leap back several meters away from them in order to avoid being killed in the crossfire. But then, in retaliation to being shot multiple times, Mel became even more pissed off and started to stomp on the hard, stone-ground in a fit of pure rage.
"HOW DARE YOU WOUND ME WITH THOSE PIECES OF DOG SHIT! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! I WILL KILL YOU HIMEGAMI AISA! I WILL FUCKING KILL YOU NO MATTER WHAT, AISA!" The pink-haired Spice Girl called Mel roared with a deranged expression on her face while her eyes became completely bloodshot as she broke the hard, stone-ground as well as made multiple huge cracks throughout the massive castle. Holy shit! Holy shit! Holy shit! And I thought that pink-haired girl was crazy before! But, this Spice Girl, Mel, is completely bat shit insane! Jeez! Why the hell is it always that the cute-looking girls with pink hair are actually insane?!
"Ahaha. Well, there are at least fifty of you girls and only three of those vampires, so you will all probably be fine, right? Yeah, for sure, one-hundred percent, you have all got this in the bag! I'll see all fifty of you girls later and we will celebrate our shared victory under the bright sun! So, um ciao!" I said with a cheerful smile on my face while waving a hand signaling a proper goodbye towards my saviors as I then immediately bolted away from the huge battle that was about to occur in the entranceway of this massive castle. But then, just as I was about to leave, I saw a man with spiky, black hair and a white t-shirt among the group of identical-looking girls. That was definitely Toma, yeah, they will be fine, I can definitely put my faith in them. I thought that to myself as I made my way up the many flights of stairs of this castle.
Meanwhile in the massive castle just as Aisa Himegami destroyed the doors and arrived.
"She has arrived. The last descendant of the Himegami bloodline, Himegami Aisa, has made her way into my castle. Hahaha! But, it's too late. It is too late for that little girl to change anything because everything has already been decided. The ancient ritual from my homeland is almost complete and my only wish will finally be granted after one-thousand years. Soon, I will be able to see you again. I will be able to see you again after my wish that I have sought for millennia has been granted. This entire world will be absolutely destroyed and then we will be able to meet again, Lucy." The Vampire Emperor Franz Ferdinand said with a sadistic smile on his face while reminiscing on memories from his past as he made his way towards his huge throne while walking past a few people that were familiar.
The people that the Vampire Emperor Franz Ferdinand wasn't even acknowledging in the slightest were either dead or on the verge of death. One of them was a brunette-haired girl who was completely naked and pinned to a giant Christian cross. The girl also had several long streaks of white hair that were mixed in with her brunette hair while she was in a crucifixion pose, her name was Nanoha Nakamura. Another one of them was a blonde-haired girl with a black sailor top and an amputated left hand. The blonde-haired girl was brutally beaten and unconscious along with multiple wounds and bruises all along her body, her name was Frenda Seivelun. Finally, the last one of them was a man's head that was torn off from the rest of his body. There was dark, silver hair on his head, but that didn't matter because he was already dead. That dead man's name was the Vampire King Slipknot and he was killed by Franz Ferdinand.
"Lucy, it won't be much longer now because everything has been set in motion over the course of hundreds of years. Nanoha Nakamura becoming a half-vampire, Aisa Himegami's family being killed, this Night of Nights that has already 'looped' for so many times that I lost count. All of those events were planned by me as soon as that bastard Linkin Park stole my gifts all of those centuries ago. But now everything will come to an end. All of the actors and actresses are right where they need to be now as this play and everything else will return to zero. It's time. It's finally time for all of this to come to a bloody end." Franz Ferdinand said while the sadistic smile on his face grew wider and wider as he casually walked closer towards his throne while not even acknowledging the people that tried to stop him because they failed to defeat him.
"The final battle will soon occur between me and Himegami Aisa. Our last showdown will decide whether this world survives or dies. Himegami Aisa will fight me as soon as she sees me because she has always been just a killer. And every killer needs someone that must be killed by them." Franz Ferdinand said with a smug grin on his face while sitting on the giant throne that was made for a king of kings, the true Vampire Emperor himself. And what was behind him was a huge piece of grotesque flesh that was getting bigger and bigger by the passing of every second. That horrific piece of flesh would soon open the door to a world that would decide the fates of Aisa Himegami, Franz Ferdinand, and everyone else, as well as this entire world too.
Back to the current time along with Aisa Himegami's POV
I was still running up the many flights of stairs of this massive castle while I was dripping sweat and gasping for air. It has only been a minute. Just one single minute, but in that time I have managed to traverse the many flights of stairs that would lead me to the Vampire Emperor Franz Ferdinand. There were thirteen floors of this castle in total while counting the entranceway as the first floor. And within that single minute, I have somehow managed to make my way up to eleven flights of stairs.
That shouldn't have been humanly possible. If I was being honest with myself, time itself has been a blur to me for a while. Time has felt so slow for some inexplicable reason that I can't explain at all. And within that slowed down time I have been able to perform feats that I wouldn't have been able to believe if I weren't the one executing them. However, this 'loop' will soon come to an end. It has been approximately twenty-seven minutes since this 'loop' started. And within these time loops, there are only thirty minutes in them with no exceptions.
This all means that I only have two or three minutes tops to defeat the Vampire Emperor Franz Ferdinand unless everything will be restarted again. These next few minutes will probably feel like the longest amount of time in my life up to this very point. I thought all of that as I made my way up to the final flight of stairs that would lead me to my final battle and the end of everything that has begun since that night. No, that's wrong it all began whenever Nanoha was turned into a half-vampire. Except, that's wrong too this all began when my family, the Himegami family started fighting Franz Ferdinand all of those centuries ago and it will all end with me.
I ran up the last few sets of stairs as I was now right in front of the door to the only room on the top floor of this massive castle. This is the thirteenth floor. Tsk. Of course, that suicidal bastard would choose that the top floor of this castle would be the thirteenth floor. The thirteenth floor is a cursed floor that is not featured anywhere in Academy City along with the rest of Japan and many other parts of the world too. Anyway, I made my way up this long as hell stairway and all the way to this door that would be the beginning of the end of everything. And I proceeded to open the door without obliterating this one because I already had a gut feeling that it was unlocked and I then walked inside of the only room on this thirteenth and final floor of this castle.
As soon as I walked inside of the throne room of the Vampire Emperor Franz Ferdinand, I was greeted by many horrific sights. I saw Nanoha crucified to a giant Christian cross and completely naked and defenseless. I also saw Frenda who was beaten to a bloody pulp and unconscious on the floor. I then saw the decapitated head of the Vampire King Slipknot as his body was missing and I could tell with a glance that he was already dead. Finally, I saw Franz Ferdinand sitting on his throne while giving me a smug grin as he was wearing the same American military uniform that belonged to Slipknot. I didn't even need to be told that Franz Ferdinand stole Slipknot's body due to his ability, Possession. The same ability that he used to steal Nanoha's body with.
"Iron Silver Twin Katanas!" I said as the complete picture of the katanas in my mind became fully realized as the iron-blood-silver twin katanas were both projected from my mind and into my hands. I was using the strongest weapons that my body could project right now. I couldn't do anything as extreme as Giant Red Armored Tank Destroyer since I knew the blood vessels in my body were on the verge of exploding due to my ability's nature. But, I couldn't hold back too much, not after seeing what that vampire bastard did to my friends. I then proceeded to leap towards the Vampire Emperor Franz Ferdinand with the highest amount of speed that I could pull off. I came face to face with Franz Ferdinand in an instant. It was a single instant. I should have been able to kill him at least once within that instant. But, I was already too late.
"Ultimate Gift: God's World! STOP TIME!" The Vampire Emperor Franz Ferdinand said with a sadistic smile on his face while pointing one of his fingers towards me as time and everything else had proceeded to stop as soon as uttered those words. I froze. No, that's not right to say that I simply froze would have been an understatement. I froze during the start of my fight with the Vampire Titan Nickelback, due to my own fear but, the difference between these two events was night and day. I completely froze here because I literally couldn't move a muscle. I couldn't even move a single finger. What happened? What the hell is happening right now? All I could do was think as everything else around me stopped, the only exception was Franz Ferdinand.
"Time has stopped. Ha! Haha! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Yes! This body! I can feel the sheer amount of raw power that this body is giving me! There is so much of it I feel like I'm high! This body is far more compatible with me than that little girl's body ever was! It isn't even a fair comparison! This body that once belonged to Slipknot is the perfect body for me, the one and only Vampire Emperor!" Franz Ferdinand roared with an expression that was brimming with elation while he was tearing the skin off of his own head as his wounds proceeded to regenerate instantly within this stopped time.
"But, even though there is no way that Himegami Aisa can move within my stopped time, I have to use this precious time that has been gifted to me by the gods themselves wisely. I already used three of the ten total seconds that I can stop time for, which leaves me with seven seconds left. Hahaha!" Franz Ferdinand said with an expression that was calm and composed that then became a sinister grin as he then pulled out many knives that were within his American military uniform that once belonged to the Vampire King Slipknot.
"Useless! Useless! Useless! Useless! Useless! Useless! Useless! Useless! Useless! Useless! Useless! Useless! Useless! Useless! Useless! Useless! Useless! Useless! Useless! USELESS! Yes! Twenty knives! There are twenty knives that are all aimed directly at vital points of your body! What will you do now? Oh, that's right, you can't do anything within my stopped time, Himegami Aisa! Hahaha! Five seconds left. Four seconds. Three seconds. Two seconds. One second. Zero." Franz Ferdinand said with a sadistic smile on his face while floating in midair as time started to resume once again.
I was then met face to face not with the Vampire Emperor Franz Ferdinand, but several knives that were aimed all around my body and were coming towards me at a ridiculous amount of speed. I proceeded to strike away from the oncoming knives with my iron-blood-silver twin katanas at the fastest amount of speed that I could muster in order so that I wouldn't be wounded by them. However, the number of knives was twenty in total, there was no way that I could pull off such an inhuman feat. As I finished blocking fifteen of them, the other five remaining knives struck me in my left arm, my right shoulder, my left leg, my right foot, and my chest. They were all vital points for the human body and being wounded in all five of those body parts caused me to collapse onto the floor that was beneath my feet.
"Ha! Haha! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I won! I completely won! I have completely defeated the last remaining descendant of the Himegami bloodline! At long last that putrid and disgusting bloodline will be absolutely erased from this world! Now, there is no one left who can challenge me! No one at all! Here is one last gift from me to you! Farewell, Himegami Aisa!" Franz Ferdinand roared with a sinister grin on his face while pulling out one last knife from his American military uniform as he chucked it straight towards me with the sheer speed that was faster than sound.
I tried to move my body that was already severely damaged, but, my body wouldn't budge at all, as the knife proceeded to soar throughout the air and stuck me right in my throat. I proceeded to throw up tons of blood from my mouth as soon as the knife pierced my throat. It hurts! It hurts! It hurts! It hurts so much but I can't even scream! At that moment, I knew that the last attack damaged me to the point of no return. I couldn't move my body anymore. None of my body parts will move at all. Not even my fingers will budge in the slightest. This was the end. There was nothing that I could do anymore. This entire battle was decided within an instant of time.
I couldn't believe how quickly I lost this fight. I thought that I was going to win. I didn't even consider the chance of me losing. I focused only on fighting to save Nanoha, Frenda, and everyone else, in an effort to defeat the Vampire Emperor Franz Ferdinand and save the world. But, I lost. Tsukuyomi believed that I would win. But, I still lost. I tried to believe in myself but, is this what my fate was leading me to? A cruel death full of agony by the hands of the single enemy that I despised the most? Was this really the fate of Aisa Himegami? Was my fate really to die and lose everything that was precious to me? I can't think anymore. I feel really tired. I now know for sure that I'm going to die.
"Well, I guess that's it. I thought for sure that this final fight was going to be something grand and epic but it ended pretty anticlimactically. Tsk. I'm honestly disappointed in Himegami Aisa. Was she really the best of the best that the Himegami family had created? Even if she was, she is going to die no matter what now so she doesn't really matter anymore. Himegami Aisa failed to defeat me. She failed to defeat me along with the rest of her pathetic family. Hahaha! I guess no one can rival my mastery over time itself! I can stop, rewind, and fast forward time like a TV remote! Hahaha! Oops. I guess I shouldn't have revealed the truth of my ability. Eh, oh well, that doesn't really matter too because Himegami Aisa is already dead." Franz Ferdinand said with an expression that was brimming with disappointment as he walked towards his throne.
I thought that I wouldn't be able to hear anything else. I thought that I was going to die right after closing my eyes. But, because of some dumb luck, I managed to hear what the Vampire Emperor Franz Ferdinand said next. That guy. No wonder he defeated me. Franz Ferdinand can stop, rewind, and fast forward time. That's such an overpowered ability that no one should be able to possess. It's bullshit that he has such a ridiculously powerful ability that gives him complete control over time. Time. Tsk. If only I was able to do something that would nullify his ability. If only I was able to revert all of my wounds back to normal like how that annoying green-haired vampire guy did. But, that's impossible. I'm going to die because of these wounds. I'm going to die because I'm only human after all.
That's right. All I have ever been as a human. I'm a stupid human who thought that she could stand up to vampires and defeat any enemy that threatens her precious friends. That was the illogical belief of Aisa Himegami. But, even though everything that I thought was the selfish wish of a selfish girl, there was something that I forgot. It was what Tsukuyomi told me within my mind. She called it my superpower that no one could ever hope to defeat. What was it again? Even though it was useless for me to think about something so trivial on the verge of death, I still searched throughout my mind for it. Even if everything that I thought was nonsense and illogical feelings, even still, I searched throughout every corner of my mind to find it.
"The strongest ability that Aisa Himegami possesses is not that Esper ability Deep Blood or anything else because your superpower that no one can match or ever hope to defeat is your willpower!"
I found it. Those were the exact words that I was looking for on the verge of my death. Tsukuyomi told me that my superpower was never Deep Blood or anything else. Tsukuyomi told me that my strongest ability was my willpower. That's right. That's exactly right. Haha. I can't believe I forgot something as important as that. Jeez. I can be so forgetful a lot of the time. I have to believe in myself. All I have to do is believe that I can win and I will. Was that another illogical and stupid belief of a selfish girl? Maybe, but who gives a shit! I believe that I can beat him! I believe that I will win this final fight because my willpower was something that no one, not even that Vampire Emperor Franz Ferdinand could ever hope to defeat!
"Hahaha! Well, won't you look at that! The ritual is about to be completed! Finally! Finally, after all this time I will be able to fully realize my wish! Finally, after all this time I will be able to meet you again, Lucy, as soon as I destroy this pathetic and useless world forever! Ha! Haha! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Goodbye Aisa! And say hello to the end of this world and all of the disgusting and useless humans that inhabit it too! Hahaha-huh?! What?! H-How did I suddenly get all the way here?!" Franz Ferdinand said with a sadistic smile on his face that then became an expression that was brimming with bewilderment and anger as he couldn't understand what happened to him as he was just standing up to walk towards the giant piece of grotesque flesh that was approximately ten meters away from him but now, he was suddenly right next to it.
"W-What?! B-But, this is impossible! I didn't use my Ultimate Gift: God's World at all after I killed Himegami Aisa! But then, how the hell am I right next to the ritual device just after standing up?! What the hell is happening right now?! What the fuck is going on?!" Franz Ferdinand said with an expression that was overflowing with confusion and rage while ranting about how absurd his current situation is right now as he tore parts of his flesh off from his own face that then instantly regenerated. But then, as if fate itself was trying to answer Franz Ferdinand's question, a person's hand grabbed his left shoulder and clenched it hard. What happened next, was that the same person who was clenching Franz Ferdinand's left shoulder used her other hand to strike against the Vampire Emperor's chest and broke through it.
"W-W-WHAT! N-NO! T-THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE-" Franz Ferdinand said with an expression that was brimming with shock and agony as he was cut off before he could finish and then he was punched again so violently it caused the Vampire Emperor to crash land into a nearby wall!
"H-H-HOW DARE YOU! HOW DARE YOU STRIKE THE KING OF KINGS LIKE HE WAS SOME HUMAN YOU INSIGNIFICANT PIECE OF SHIT! I GUESS THAT YOU SOMEHOW MANAGED TO SURVIVE HIMEGAMI AISA! I WILL KILL YOU-WHAT?!" Franz Ferdinand roared with a deranged expression on his face while he recovered from being punched in the chest and sent flying into a nearby wall as he was expecting to see Aisa Himegami standing away from him in a fighting stance. That was what the Vampire Emperor assumed was the case. However, the person he saw with his own two eyes did not look like Aisa in the slightest. Aisa was supposed to have long, straight, black hair, but this person had-
"W-WHO A-ARE Y-YOU?! WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?! THIS DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE! I WAS SURE THAT HIMEGAMI AISA WAS THE ONLY ONE IN MY THRONE ROOM! SO THEN WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?!" Franz Ferdinand roared with an expression that was brimming with bewilderment and irritation while he couldn't understand in the slightest who the person that is only a few meters away from him was. The Vampire Emperor wasn't choosing to understand, he literally couldn't fathom the identity of the person that attacked him. Franz Ferdinand assumed that the person who attacked him was none other than Aisa Himegami. However, the person that he was met with instead, had long, straight, red hair, and green eyes that were piercing into his very soul.
"HAHAHA! YOU KNOW WHAT? YOUR IDENTITY DOESN'T MATTER TO ME! ALL THAT MATTERS IS THAT YOU WERE THE PERSON WHO STRUCK ME! FOR THAT REASON YOU WILL SUFFER A CRUEL AND HORRIFIC DEATH! NOW DIE! ULTIMATE GIFT: GOD'S WORLD! STOP TIME!" Franz Ferdinand roared at the top of his lungs while his deranged face looked like it was about to pop a blood vessel as everything around him stopped moving just like he said.
"Ha! Haha! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! TIME HAS STOPPED ONCE AGAIN! YOU CAN NO LONGER MOVE! WHICH MEANS THAT I HAVE WON! I'M THE KING OF KINGS! NO ONE CAN DEFEAT ME! NOW DIE-W-WHAT?!" Franz Ferdinand roared with an expression that was brimming with elation that then turned into an expression that was full of confusion as he noticed that the person he was attacking wasn't the mystery person that attacked him. Instead, the person that The Vampire Emperor was actually attacking was none other than himself! And then, just as Franz Ferdinand realized his fatal mistake, the mystery attacker grasped his left shoulder hard once again!
"Tsk. You are really using that same trick again? Your ability to control time itself is useless. Your mastery over time is useless against someone who isn't shackled in chains by time anymore. Because time has already been erased." A certain voice said as it was the same mystery person who attacked Franz Ferdinand earlier as she then proceeded to strike many times against the Vampire Emperor's body with her fists which caused him to go crash landing into a nearby wall once again!
"I-I-I DON'T UNDERSTAND! WHO ARE YOU? WHO THE HELL ARE YOU? WHAT KIND OF ABILITY DO YOU HAVE THAT CAN NULLIFY MY MASTERY OVER TIME ITSELF?! ANSWER ME!" Franz Ferdinand roared at the top of his lungs again while he recovered from the wounds that he received from the mystery attacker as he glared daggers towards her in pure hatred.
"Didn't you hear me the first time? I really hate repeating myself. Ever since I was a child I hated to repeat words that I have already said because it was useless. It was so useless to waste time repeating things to others again and again. Even still, I will repeat myself one more time so you better listen this time. Your mastery over time itself is useless to me because I have already erased your stopped time." The mystery person said with an emotionless expression on her face while she glared towards Franz Ferdinand with eyes that lacked any emotion whatsoever which caused the Vampire Emperor to become even more enraged.
"Ha! Haha! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! YOU HAVE ALREADY ERASED MY STOPPED TIME THAT IS UTTER BULLSHIT! MY ABILITY IS ABSOLUTE! NO ONE CAN EVER POSSIBLY MATCH ME! I'M THE KING OF KINGS! AND YOU ARE A NOBODY! YOU ARE JUST AN INSIGNIFICANT PIECE OF HUMAN SHIT!" Franz Ferdinand roared with a face that was still utterly deranged while he refused to believe that the mystery person was telling the truth to him as he pointed towards her with one of his fingers in retaliation for being told a lie.
"Tsk. Do you still refuse to believe what I'm telling you is a lie? It is not a lie. I'm not lying to you. Everything that I have said is the truth and nothing but the truth. So, I will reveal another truth to you. You may not recognize me anymore, because you are still trying to reject the person who attacked you. You refuse to believe that someone has an ability that can nullify your ability to control time itself. But that is just an illusion your mind created. Because my name is Aisa Himegami and you cannot reject who I am any longer." I said with an expression that was lacking any emotion at all while I glared towards Franz Ferdinand with my green eyes that held no pity or remorse for the Vampire Emperor in the slightest.
"Y-Y-Your name is Himegami Aisa? The same Himegami Aisa that I killed only less than a minute earlier? Lies! Lies! Lies! Lies! Lies! Lies! Lies! Lies! Lies! Lies! Lies! Lies! LIES! YOU ARE LYING TO ME! THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL YOU ARE ACTUALLY HIMEGAMI AISA YOU PIECE OF SHIT! ULTIMATE GIFT: GOD'S WORLD! REWIND TIME!" Franz Ferdinand roared at the top of his lungs once again while his face became more and more deranged as everything around him started to rewind backward in time. That's what the Vampire Emperor just said. However, that was wrong. Instead, time did not rewind at all.
"Tsk. You are such a fool, didn't you know that already? You keep repeating the same things over and over again. You keep refusing to accept the truths that I have revealed to you. And you keep rejecting the person that is in front of you. But, since you are nothing more than a fool then I will just have to keep beating the shit out of you until you accept that I'm Aisa Himegami." I said with an emotionless voice that was colder than ice while maintaining my expression that lacked any and all emotion as I walked forward towards Franz Ferdinand and unleashed my power against him. And then, I started landing blows against the Vampire Emperor's body.
"Time has resumed once again. Now, have you learned your lesson, you fool?" I said with an expression that wasn't brimming with any emotion while I glared towards Franz Ferdinand with eyes that were colder than ice itself, as time started to resume again and the Vampire Emperor was sent flying onto the ceiling. And then, after Franz Ferdinand was blown into the ceiling by my fists, the Vampire Emperor then proceeded to crash land onto the ground and made it crack and crumble due to the sheer force of his body landing onto it.
"Y-You bastard. YOU FUCKING BASTARD! YOU HAVE STRUCK ME, THE KING OF KINGS ONCE AGAIN! YOU WILL LEARN YOUR PLACE AT THE BOTTOM OF MY FEET YOU FUCKING MONGREL! ULTIMATE GIFT: GOD'S WORLD! FAST FORWARD TIME!" Franz Ferdinand roared at the top of his lungs for the eighth time in a row with a face that was becoming more and more deranged by the second while he proceeded to lift his hands into the air as everything around him began to fast forward into the future. But, that was wrong, because time did not move forward at a quicker pace. Instead, time was erased once again.
"Time has been erased once again. Tsk. You still have not learned your lesson, you fool? Fine, I will keep teaching you a lesson that I created myself. The lesson that you will learn right now is called getting your ass kicked 101. And you will not be asking any more questions until after I beat the shit out of you again. Now, let's do this one more time, you fool." I said with an expression that lacked any emotion whatsoever while I cracked both of my knuckles, as I then casually walked towards Franz Ferdinand again and hit him. I then proceeded to punch the Vampire Emperor multiple times in succession with each other as I landed blows all over Franz Ferdinand's body which caused him to roll onto the floor and that caused the floor to break even more as multiple cracks appeared onto it.
"Time will begin to move once again. Now, have you finally learned your lesson, you fool?" I said with a voice that was as cold as ice, while I maintained my emotionless expression, as I glared towards Franz Ferdinand with my icy cold stare. At last, the Vampire Emperor stopped moving and he stood completely still and then asked me a question that he couldn't fathom at all.
"Y-Y-You really are Himegami Aisa, aren't you? There is no other person in this world that can stand a chance against me other than the last descendant of the Himegami bloodline. I understood that. I understood that fact completely. You also said that you can erase time. But, I can't understand that at all. Himegami Aisa is supposed to have only one ability. The Esper ability, Deep Blood that has been passed down from the Himegami family for centuries. And you said that you also have the ability to erase time. How?! How is that possible?!" Franz Ferdinand said with a face that was brimming with bewilderment, while he remained motionless as his wounds regenerated insanely quickly, and as he awaited my response to his only question.
"I understand. I understand your confusion completely now. It is only natural for you to assume that I didn't have another ability. That's also what I assumed at first. But, as I remembered Tsukuyomi's words, I realized that my ability was never Deep Blood. The Esper ability, Deep Blood, belonged to the 'other me' that is inside me, it was never my ability. And when I remembered Tsukuyomi's words which were when I realized what my true ability always was." I said with an expression that wasn't brimming with any emotion in the slightest, while I glared towards Franz Ferdinand with a stare that was colder than ice, as a humanoid figure that was red and white appeared beside me and revealed itself to the Vampire Emperor for the first time.

Tsukuyomi was completely right. Once I believed in myself that I can defeat you, it finally revealed itself to me. It was hidden from me for so long, I never realized that I had it until less than a minute ago. This is my true ability! The ability that will keep erasing time whether you stop time, rewind time, or fast forward time, I will completely erase it! If you really are the King of Kings like you say you are, then I will completely surpass you and defeat you! The true ability of Aisa Himegami is standing right next to me right now! It is my fighting spirit incarnated into this world! Its name is King Crimson!" I said with a voice that was ice cold that then became a roar while I revealed the name of my true ability that was standing next to me as I proceeded to point with one of my fingers towards Franz Ferdinand while I made a pose.
"H-How?! How can you possibly possess that ability, Himegami Aisa?! That ability should not exist in this world! So how?! How do you possess that thing standing next to you?!" Franz Ferdinand said with a face that was brimming with disbelief while his mouth dropped to the floor as he then proceeded to punch the floor in pure rage over discovering my true ability.
"Tsk. You are really asking me how I acquired this ability? You should already know that answer already since you came from another world too. You were never supposed to exist in this world, but, you were forced into here by some external force. That external force made you leave your loved one behind and that is why you hate this world and all humans so much. You cursed this world that didn't have your loved one in it. You cursed this world that had so many humans in it. You have always thought humans to be completely powerless because you were originally a human, weren't you?" I said while maintaining my face and eyes that lacked any and all emotion as I awaited for Franz Ferdinand's response.
"That's right. Everything you just said was completely correct, Himegami Aisa. The truth is I have come from another world. In my old world, I was proclaimed by humans as a monster, a Dead Apostle Ancestor. But then, when I made my wish in that world's root, I gained power from a certain being that I thought would make me unrivaled. However, the price for such an unstoppable power was that I was forced to abandon my old world along with my loved one and go into this one." Franz Ferdinand began to speak with a voice that was emotionless as he glared towards me.
"That being that gave me my power then created a certain bloodline that had the ability to oppose me. That was how your family, the Himegami family became born into this world. Your family's existence only came into fruition because that being wanted to balance the scales of this world so that it wouldn't fall into complete chaos. However, when that giving me my Ultimate Gifts, it unintentionally created a being that only desires chaos and destruction. That is my only goal since I can never return to my original world. Do you understand my wish now, Himegami Aisa?" Franz Ferdinand said as he finished talking and proceeded to ask me one final question before this final fight ends.
"I understand now. I can understand why you would feel so lonely without your loved one. You see, I have someone that I cherish too with all of my heart. Her name is Nanoha Nakamura. Nanoha is my best friend in this entire world and when I thought that I lost her, I was utterly devastated. However, instead of choosing to hate this world, I chose to find another person that I could cherish. Her name was Frenda Seivelun. Frenda taught me that I should realize that my life has always been precious and worth living because I was alive and had many people that cared about me." I said with an expression that had a weak smile on it as I was reminiscing on the past.
"Frenda was right. I then chose to save her after hearing the kind words of my mother, Rei Himegami. My mother told me that I always cherished humans because I was a kindhearted person. My mother was right too. I love humanity because there are so many people that have given me love and happiness. But, you are the opposite you chose to hate humanity because the one person that you cared about was gone. All this time I have risked my life to protect my precious friends while you desired to destroy the world because you could never see them again. We are almost the same, but, that is the difference between us." I said with an expression that reverted to being emotionless as me and Franz Ferdinand both stood up to face off with each other one last time.
"I will save this world because I love Nanoha, Frenda, and everyone else. You want to destroy this world because you love your loved one. We cannot coexist with each other. So, let's finish this now." I said while glaring towards Franz Ferdinand with my eyes that were colder than ice.
"Hahaha! You are completely right once again, Himegami Aisa. We could never coexist with each other because we are the same and the opposite at the same time. Himegami Aisa is the personification of hope and the Vampire Emperor Franz Ferdinand is the personification of despair. We are the Yin and Yang, the ultimate forces of good and evil respectively. It only makes sense that we would try to destroy each other no matter what. Hahaha! This final fight will finish once I drop the only possession that I have left from my loved one onto the ground." Franz Ferdinand said with an expression that was calm and composed, while he grabbed a silver jewel from inside his chest and kissed it. And then, the Vampire Emperor proceeded to throw the silver jewel into the air and as soon as it landed onto the ground, our final battle commenced.
"ULTIMATE GIFT: GOD'S WORLD! STOP TIME!" Franz Ferdinand said with an expression that became deranged for the final time, while he lifted both of his arms into the air, as everything stopped moving around him. No, that's wrong because I already unleashed my ability before time could fully stop.
"King Crimson has already erased your stopped time." I said with an emotionless expression on my face while the world around me became shrouded with light as Franz Ferdinand was the only person not moving within the world that I created. No, that's wrong too because I knew that the Vampire King Slipknot's body that the Vampire Emperor stole from him was preventing Franz Ferdinand from dodging my final attack. Even beyond death itself, Slipknot found a way to help me.
"Only you can't escape the fate that was chosen for them. Eternal greatness exists within everyone that is human. Sing a song of joy in a world where time has vanished." I said with a voice that was colder than ice itself as I made my way towards the Vampire Emperor Franz Ferdinand while my red hair flowed into the wind in the world where time had vanished while my green eyes glared towards him with no pity or remorse in them whatsoever as my clothes transformed into a red and white kimono which complimented the humanoid red and white figure named King Crimson, the stand of Aisa Himegami.
"ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA!" And then, with all of the resolve and determination I had in my body, I proceeded to punch Franz Ferdinand's head multiple times in succession with each other with the red and white humanoid figure standing beside me named King Crimson until the Vampire Emperor's head was completely obliterated. The Vampire Emperor Franz Ferdinand was utterly defeated and dead now.
"Now, it is almost over. Uh, AHHHH! No, not yet! My body cannot give out just yet! I refuse to die until I have saved Nanoha!" I said with an expression that was brimming with absolute pain and agony while my left arm proceeded to separate itself from my body and as blood was running down my own throat. The truth is my body has been dying ever since Franz Ferdinand struck me with those knives and I used Deep Blood to create those Double Silver Katanas. But, I have been persevering due to my willpower alone. I was dying and nothing could change that indisputable fact.
I started to walk towards that grotesque piece of flesh that was only ten meters away from me as my body was bleeding from multiple wounds. It was only ten meters. I could have run ten meters in five seconds if I was in peak condition. However, my condition couldn't have been worse. My right eye exploded. Then multiple parts of my body, including my throat were pierced by sharp knives. And to top it all off my left arm fell off and was leaking so much of my own blood onto the ground as I moved forward. Come on! Come on! Come on! Come on, Aisa! There are still nine meters left! You have to make it! You swore to save her, so you can't give up now! You can't die just yet! Not until Nanoha is saved-
"A-Aisa?! W-What happened to your right eye?! W-Where did your left arm go?! Y-Your throat has so much blood leaking out of it! No! No! No! NO! Aisa, you are dying, aren't you?! Aisa, you can't die! You can't! Please, just stop moving! Franz Ferdinand must be dead because I was able to wake up again! So, you don't have to fight anymore! You don't have to try and save me anymore!" Nanoha screamed with a horrified expression on her face, while she tried to move her body, but she couldn't due to being restricted by many chains and onto a giant Christian cross. Nanoha was alive. That made me happy again.
I was walking faster. I wasn't able to run anymore, but, seeing Nanoha again made me really happy to be alive again. I was moving forward again at a much faster pace, because my best friend, Nanoha Nakamura was still alive. The distance that separated me from the grotesque piece of flesh grew less and less. Seven meters. Six Meters. Five meters. I was making my way closer and closer. Four meters. Three meters. Two meters. I was able to come this far because Nanoha was able to give me hope that was absolutely unbreakable. One Meter. I made it. There was a huge hole that was opened in the grotesque piece of flesh. I was about to walk into it until-
"Please! Don't go! No one told you you had to do this! So why?! Why are you walking towards your death?! You've done enough for this world! You have done enough for me! Aisa, you don't deserve to die!" Nanoha screamed at the top of her lungs towards me, while tears were pouring from her eyes as I stopped moving forward and I showed her my smile one last time.
"Hey Nanoha, I'm sorry, but please just listen to me. You don't need to scream anymore. You don't need to cry anymore. You don't ever need to be sad anymore. Because everything will end here. After everything that happened to you, all of that endless suffering, you deserve nothing more than a happy ending. So, please be happy and smile for me. See you later, Nanoha." I said with an expression that was brimming with happiness while I showed her the most beautiful smile that I possessed as I then turned away from Nanoha and I looked towards the bright light that was coming from the grotesque piece of flesh. And then, with all the determination and resolve that Aisa Himegami possessed, I walked into the gaping hole of the grotesque piece of flesh and left my world behind forever.
"Aisa! Aisa! Aisa! Aisa! Aisa! Aisa! Aisa! Aisa! Aisa! Aisa! Aisa! Aisa! Aisa! Aisa! AISA! AISA, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Nanoha screamed at the top of her lungs, while I was walking inside of the gaping hole of the grotesque piece of flesh, as her screams were the last words that I heard, as I then went into a different and unknown world.
I was then met with a world that was completely shrouded in light and had no one and nothing inside of it. No, that was wrong because there was one lone figure inside of it. That figure was utterly white and had no facial features to speak of. That must have been the being that gave Franz Ferdinand his powers.
"Hello there! Welcome to the root of all of existence! My name is, um, well, I have been called by many names! I have been known as The Presence, The One Above All, the Truth of this world, but, there is one name I preferred over all of those. Eternity. Now, what is your wish, young Aisa Himegami?" The lone white figure named Eternity spoke to me with a childish voice, while it sat in a meditation pose, and it asked me what my wish was.
"I only have one wish. Just a single wish. Break the curse." I said with an emotionless expression on my face while speaking in a calm and collected voice, as I lifted out my only remaining right arm towards the being named Eternity.
"Are you sure that is your wish? I will give you just a single chance to change it. Because that is the wish of the Himegami family. That wish will erase all traces of vampires from your world. But, the girl named Nanoha Nakamura will be completely unaffected by it, since she is a half-vampire. However, since you are a member of the Himegami bloodline, that wish will erase you from all of existence. So, I will ask only one more time. Are you sure that is your wish, young Aisa Himegami?" Eternity said as it gave me one last chance to back out and live just a little bit longer.
"Yes, I'm sure. You said that is the wish of my family, the Himegami family. But, that's wrong. To break the curse for my family, that could have been my intention ever since I was born. However, that changed when I met Nanoha. I wanted to be by her side. I wanted to protect her no matter what happens. So, when I learned that she was cursed to be a half-vampire, I swore to save her. Even if it costed my own life, that was fine with me, because I wanted to save her more than anyone else. I love Nanoha. Nanoha Nakamura is my very best friend in this entire world. That's why it is my wish to save her alone. Now, break the curse." I said with an expression that was brimming with determination and resolve, while I said my wish one more time to Eternity.
"I understand. Your wish has now been granted. The girl named Nanoha Nakamura has been saved. Farewell, young Aisa Himegami." Eternity said towards me, while it snapped its fingers, as I started to turn into dust. I'm dying. This is really the end this time. But, I accept that this is the finale. This has been my wish ever since I first discovered the truth about Nanoha when I regained all of my memories within the hellish world that existed only within my own mind. I wanted to save Nanoha because she meant everything to me. Nanoha was my very first friend after all. So this is fine. I'm fine with dying if it is for her sake.
But, that means I have to break the promise that I made to Frenda about spending the rest of my life with her. Sorry, Frenda. I'm a bad friend. But, you will be alright. Tsukuyomi will be alright. Toma will be alright. Seiri will be alright. Nanoha will be alright. Everyone will be alright because humanity will still be alive. The Earth will continue on without me. But, I accept that. I accepted that already because my goal has already been accomplished. I defeated the Vampire Emperor Franz Ferdinand. I saved Nanoha Nakamura. And I protected everyone else and the world too. So, I accomplished everything that I sought out to do. I won.
If I have one regret it would have to be that I was never able to go to the beach with Nanoha that we both promised to go to with Seiri. Well, there is nothing that I could do about it now. So, it can't be helped. It's decided. It looks like my time is up. Bye-bye Nanoha, Frenda, Tsukuyomi, and everyone else. Maybe one day we will all be able to meet again on a summer day on a beach. I thought to myself as my entire body completely turned into dust as I raised my only remaining right hand into the air.
However, there was one thing that survived from being turned into dust along with me. The red bandana that I gave to Nanoha. The red bandana was the red thread of fate that bound me to Nanoha. The red bandana was the symbol of our everlasting friendship between me and Nanoha. That red bandana survived after I turned into dust and I was completely erased from existence. Hello Everyone! Ren Here! First things first, the last four chapters of this story will be released daily starting today and will end this Thursday! Anyway, for this chapter, I wanted to showcase the epic battle between Aisa and Franz Ferdinand that I've hyped up for a while! I also wanted to showcase Franz Ferdinand's mastery of time by having him show how deadly his ability is by having him almost kill Aisa with knives which was an intentional JoJo reference! I knew what the Vampire Emperor's ability was going to be for a while, but I did not know how I was going to have Aisa defeat him until I realized that the only way to beat such an overpowered ability is to have Aisa erase his ability hence King Crimson. I also recommend listening to Owari wa Dochira during the fight between Aisa and Franz Ferdinand, it's Aisa Himegami's character song, and it's absolutely incredible! I honestly had no clue Aisa's character song existed until a week ago and it's a crime that song wasn't used once in the Anime. Finally, there is only one more chapter left for the main story as well as a two-part epilogue and then this story will come to an end! it's been a long journey and I have appreciated all the feedback so far and I'm excited to see what you guys think when the story is complete and released!
