Epilogue: Goodbye Lovers and Friends Part 1
My eyes were both completely opened as I looked towards the familiar ceiling of my bedroom, it was all pure white and nothing fancy in the slightest, but it was home for me. I then proceeded to look towards a certain girl with brunette hair which was very messy and all over the place as she was still sleeping next to me on the bed, which made me crack a smile. Yes, the girl right next to me was indeed my very best friend in this entire world, Nanoha Nakamura. It has been a little over two weeks since I have returned to this world and while Nanoha was still not in the best mental state, she was slowly recovering because I was able to be by her side again.
"Rest easy, my beloved Kouhai. I will be back soon." I said with a cheerful smile on my face while rubbing Nanoha's head as I tucked her deeper into the covers. I vowed that I would support Nanoha on the path to making a full recovery in order for her to value her life and be truly happy once again. That was my goal and I'm going to stick by it by being beside Nanoha for a very long time, as long as possible if I were given the chance. However, today was the day that I had to go and see one of my other friends who has been waiting for me for a very long time.
"Thanks for the breakfast, Tsukuyomi! I'll be going now!" I said with a bright smile on my face while opening the front door of our home as I left to go see one of my other friends. Tsukuyomi told me to 'take care' with a childlike expression on her face that fit her extremely well because she looks like a loli. I almost did not want to leave the house today so that I could give my full attention to Nanoha who has been living at Tsukuyomi's apartment with me over the course of these past two weeks. In fact, Nanoha has been living with Tsukuyomi for a lot longer than that, almost a full year by now because she had nowhere else to go to and live at.
"Holy crap! It's raining hard today! Jeez! This would have been a good time to make sure that I had an umbrella with me." I said with an expression that was brimming with disappointment while the clouds in the dark sky were unleashing tons of water all over me which ended up soaking my entire body. Ignoring the rain issue today, I had already decided that I had to visit one of my other friends no matter what today, even if it meant that I would get drenched with water in the process. Even still, I had faith in Nanoha that she would be fine without me for a few hours as I made my way to visit a very important friend who has been waiting for me for a while to get to her.
I speed walked under the dark clouds in the sky that were unleashing many amounts of water all over me and the ground and I made my way towards a nearby bus. I wanted to run so that I wouldn't get even more soaked, but the chance of slipping and falling on my ass was high, so I chose not to do that. Plus, I was already drenched and my clothes were uncomfortably sticking to my skin so it wasn't like the rain was going to kill me if I became just a little wetter. Finally, after about five minutes of walking throughout my area nearby my home while getting drenched in rain, I was finally able to board the nearby bus and pay the fees that would get me to my next destination.
"Thank you, Ma'am! You may pick any of the available seats you want!" The bus driver said towards me with an expression that was brimming with happiness, probably because he was able to get some money today since the bus was practically empty other than one seat in the far back of the bus which had a figure wearing a hat and a jacket that made it difficult to figure out what they looked like. I brushed it off as someone who was heading to work as it was very early in the morning today, eight in the morning to be exact, which was especially early for me. But, I chose to head out this early so that Nanoha would be able to rest and relax while I'm out of the apartment. Also, there was no school today since it was some religious holiday today, which made it the perfect day to visit one of my most important friends today.
"Thank you for your kind service!" I said with a cheerful smile on my face while bowing towards the kind bus driver as I made my way towards one of the seats in the front of the bus. The bus then closed its doors as the bus driver proceeded to drive the bus to my next destination. As I waited for the bus to arrive at the place I wanted to go to, I decided to pass the time while waiting by closing my eyes and listening to the rain that was coming from the closed nearby window. To be honest, I hated the rain while I was outside because I would usually get soaked because I did not have an umbrella nor the will to go buy one at a store.
However, that was only the case while I was outside, when I was inside a place or a moving vehicle like I am right now listening to the pouring rain was very soothing. That sound when the raindrops onto the ground were so relaxing I proceeded to hum some songs that were nonsense out of pure delight. It was so extremely relaxing in fact, that I almost managed to fall asleep but I was stopped by the bus driver at the very last second as he told me that we have arrived at my destination of choice. I then proceeded to thank the bus driver for stopping me from falling asleep completely and keeping me awake as I stepped out of the bus and started to walk towards the place where I was going to meet one of my important friend today.
As I made my way towards my next destination I was then met with two huge gates and a sign above me that read in huge letters 'Academy City Cemetery' as I then pushed open the two huge gates. I then proceeded to enter the Academy City Cemetery as I made my way towards the important friend of mine that I was going to meet and catch up with today. After all that has happened recently to me and her, it was my duty as a friend to meet and talk with her today. But then, as I made my way towards my important friend, I noticed a certain girl with blue eyes and long black hair with a small, white flower on the left side of her hair.
"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" The girl with long black hair shrieked while her tears poured out of her blue eyes as she kneeled towards a certain grave that she was crying her eyes out onto. I proceeded to make my way towards the mystery-crying girl and the grave she was crying at because it was the location of my important friend that I had to meet with today. I then proceeded to look towards that grave's tombstone as I silently read the name 'FRENDA SEIVELUN' which was in bold, capital letters. Yes, the important friend that I traveled all the way to the cemetery in Academy City to meet with today and be able to talk to again was none other than my deceased friend, Frenda Seivelun.
"Hello there! Ugh! Jeez! It sure is rainy today! This makes me wish for the sun to be in the sky so I wouldn't have to get this drenched! Uh, ahaha! I-I mean, I was going to say that my name is Aisa Himegami! And, um, what's your name?" I said with an expression that was brimming with awkwardness while I made an attempt to strike up a conversation with the mystery girl with black hair who was still crying onto Frenda's grave with many tears in her blue eyes.
"H-Hello there! M-My name is R-Ruiko Saten! It is a pleasure to meet you! So, uh, what do you want with me?" The girl with black hair named Ruiko Saten said towards me with an expression brimming with shock and confusion while she wept the tears that were still pouring from her eyes with the sleeves of her shirt as she then pondered why I was here all of a sudden. Saten's introduction towards me made me almost do a double-take as she was stuttering even more than I did when I introduced myself to her and she appeared to be in a very depressed mood right now. I didn't know why she looked so miserable at first, but then I put the puzzle pieces together and I realized who she must have been to my deceased friend, Frenda.
"Uh, ahaha! I understand now. Jeez! I can be such an idiot when it comes to things like this! But, I guess it can't be helped because that's the type of person that I am. I should have said this at the very start, I'm one of Frenda's friends, and I have come to pay my respects towards her. Do you mind if I sit next to you?" I said with a weak smile on my face while I scratched the top of my head covered with long, straight, black hair, out of embarrassment as I asked Saten a question.
"Eh? EH? Y-Y-You are one of Frenda's friends?! R-Really?! I-I'm at a loss for words! I was so sure that you were just someone asking for directions or something like that! To be honest, I never even considered that Frenda had other friends, ahaha! But yeah, sure, that is fine with me, Ms. Himegami!" Saten said towards me with an expression that was brimming with surprise and relief on her face while she laughed awkwardly as she then motioned with one of her hands towards me so that I could come closer towards her.
"Thank you! I appreciate your kind words! But, um, you don't have to be so formal when talking to me. We are both two of Frenda's friends, so we shouldn't act so stiff like we are at some important ceremony or something like that. Instead, we should get to know each other and remember Frenda together! So don't worry about it, I guess we can be idiots together, ahaha!" I said with a cheerful smile on my face while I walked towards the girl named Ruiko Saten as I then proceeded to sit next to her in a kneeling position in an effort for me to pay my respects to Frenda.
"So, um, I'll go first. I didn't know Frenda for that much time, to be honest, but she became one of my best friends in the time span of the two weeks that I was around her. How long have you known Frenda for, Ms. Saten? Haha!" I said with a weak smile on my face that then became a grin while flashbacks of Frenda started to appear in my mind as I then proceeded to laugh after addressing Saten as 'Ms. Saten' in an effort to break the ice that was still in the atmosphere.
"Eh? EH? Me? And why are you addressing me as 'Ms. Saten?' Only one person does that to me and you are not her! So don't you go steal Uiharu's line from her, idiot! Anyway, I had known Frenda for about a month before she, uh, 'disappeared.' The first time we met was at some grocery store where I was trying to buy myself a can of mackerel. But then, Frenda swooped in out of nowhere and stole the can of mackerel for me, and I was so mad at her! Haha! In hindsight, maybe I overreacted a little too much over some dumb can of mackerel, haha!" Saten said with a weak smile on her face while she reminisced on her first memory of meeting Frenda as she laughed at herself for the way she acted towards Frenda at the time.
"Huh? What?! No way! That was literally exactly how I met Frenda for the very first time too! That is one hell of a crazy coincidence! But yeah, same here! I also overreacted big time when I first met Frenda! Hell, I actually challenged Frenda to a race of who can grab the can of mackerel first! It was a dumb little game that I came up with on the spot because I was so pissed off at her at the time, haha!" I said with a bright smile on my face while reminiscing about my very first encounter with Frenda as I laughed next to Ruiko Saten.
"R-Really?! Haha! Yeah, you are right, that is one hell of a crazy coincidence! I guess that Frenda really loved eating cans of mackerel so much that anyone and everyone wouldn't be able to stand in her way from her favorite food! So, um, who won that racing game between you and Frenda?" Saten said with a weak smile that was becoming wider and wider while she laughed alongside me as we continued to reminisce about Frenda as she then asked me what was the outcome of the challenge between me and Frenda that happened on the first day I met her.
"Haha! Yeah, you are completely right, Saten! Haha! Oh yeah, Frenda won and beat me in an absolute landside! I thought the odds were completely in my favor but that didn't turn out to be the case at all! I thought Frenda was just that fast at first, but then I learned that little brat cheated and unfairly completely defeated me at that game! If Frenda was here right now, I would have definitely flicked her in the forehead and pulled her hair for that little stunt she did, haha!" I said with a cheerful smile on my face while I grabbed the air in an effort to showcase what I would have done to Frenda if she were with me right now, as Saten giggled hard.
"Ahahahaha! O-Oh my god! Hahaha! That is way too funny! Hahahaha! I feel like I'm about to piss myself out of pure joy! Wow! Thanks for that, Himegami! That was the hardest I have laughed about in a long time! So, it seems that you two were very close! Maybe you were even closer to Frenda than I was, to be honest. If only she were still in this world with the both of us right now." Saten said with an expression that was brimming with happiness that then reverted back to the sorrowful expression that she was wearing earlier while tears started to drip from her eyes again.
"Here. Also, we can share some of the snacks that I brought with me if you want them. I have some onigiri, eat some of them, Saten. But, I want you to know that Frenda not being in this world any longer is not your fault. The truth is that I'm the one who is at fault. I'll explain, but first, do you remember that Night of Nights event that took Academy City by storm almost a year ago?" I said with a bright smile on my face that then became a serious expression while I handed a handkerchief from my school bag along with some onigiri that I brought with me for this occasion towards Ruiko Saten in order for her to calm down again and regain her composure.
"T-Thank you again, Himegami! I-I'll gladly eat some of that onigiri with you! Uh, yeah, I remember that Night of Nights tragedy. I knew some of the people who were victims of that horrible event and will never be able to come back home ever again. I mean, I'm glad that I survived all of it! I truly am happy that I'm alive to this day! But, ugh, it just makes me question myself at times like this. I don't have an Esper ability. I'm a Level 0. So was I really one of the people that should have survived compared to others that had powers that could have changed the world for the better?" Saten said with an expression that was brimming with melancholy while she wiped her tears with the handkerchief and ate one of the onigiris that I both offered to her as she then started to question her own existence and why was she one of the lucky ones that survived in the end.
"What? Are you joking? Of course, you should have been one of the ones that survived! There is nothing for you to be ashamed of just because you survived over someone else! Look at me, Saten! I'm also a Level 0! I lost my Esper ability near the end of the Nights of Nights tragedy! We are both alive right now even though we are Level 0s! So, there is nothing for us to be ashamed of because we can change this world for the better in different ways, Saten!" I said with an expression that was pissed off while I told Saten my brutally honest opinions as I held both of her shoulders and I stared directly into her eyes to get my point across.
"Eh? EH? You are a Level 0 too, Himegami?! I-I'm completely surprised, to be honest. But maybe you are right. There are tons of people out there who made famous inventions that helped make this world a better place. There are also people out there who work with children and help them find a place that they can call home. Even still, can I really become someone important that can make this world a better place? Can I really become someone who can be called precious and worth living over others?" Saten said towards me with a weak smile on her face that then reverted back to the melancholic expression she was wearing earlier while she slumped her shoulders as a few tears dripped from her eyes.
"Yes, that's right. You can become anyone you want to be, Saten. And nothing is going to stop me from doing exactly that, so you are right about that. However, you are also wrong too. You don't need to save people again and again until you believe that you have made up for your sins. Because that's bullshit! It's ok to be alive and live for yourself! A certain person taught me that exact lesson, I didn't believe her at the time, but she was completely right. That person was Frenda! Frenda taught me that lesson and she was right, so just live for yourself, Saten!" I said with a serious expression that then reverted to a cheerful smile on my face while staring directly into Saten's blue eyes as I then proceeded to pat her on the head.
"Yeah, you are right! You are completely right, Himegami! I can live for myself and as long as I don't do anything bad then that's fine! It's fine if I live for myself because being alive right now is what happiness is, so I don't need to do anything extra like that if I don't want to! T-T-Thank you! Thanks for saying all of that to me since it's exactly what I needed to hear from someone, Himegami! But, um, you were going to say something earlier about the Night of Nights, weren't you?" Saten said with an expression that had left behind her despair and had regained her hope while a bright smile appeared on her face as she then asked me a question.
"Yes! That's exactly what I have been trying to tell you, Saten! Because being here right now and happy is more than enough to treat yourself as precious and worth living! Also, you don't need to call me 'Himegami' anymore since we know each other now. Instead, just call me Aisa! We are friends now, aren't we, Saten? Uh, the Night of Nights? Oh, that's right! I almost completely forgot what I was going to say about that!" I said with a bright smile on my face that matched Saten's smile while I patted her on the head again as I then prepared myself to explain to her what happened to me at the end of the Night of Nights.
"Anyway, I said earlier that what happened to Frenda was not your fault because it was mine. That's the truth, Saten. It's the truth that it was my fault because the thing is I kind of almost actually died at the end of the Night of Nights. I'm going to try and explain it in a simple and concise manner so that you don't get really confused, ok? Near the end of the Night of Nights, I lost quite a ton of my blood and I would have certainly died from blood loss but Frenda came in at the very last second and offered some of her blood to me. However, Frenda lost a lot of her blood too so by saving me she died. But, Frenda chose to save me because it was the right thing to do and she is my friend so she was ok with that." I said with a melancholic expression on my face while explaining what happened at the end of the Night of Nights as I lied towards Saten.
I chose to lie to Saten and not tell her the truth mostly because it was such a ridiculous story that no one would be able to believe me unless they were in that situation. Hell, I barely believed what happened to me and I was the one who experienced it and died! But, to be fair, what I told Saten wasn't a complete lie. It was the truth that Frenda saved me at the end of the Night of Nights. However, when she saved me it took me eight months to return to this world because time works differently on that other world. Also, when I came back to this world, I lost my Esper ability, Deep Blood, as well as that other ability that was actually mine in the first place called King Crimson. Even still, it was fine with me that I lost those powers and truly became just a normal girl because now I was given the chance to spend my life with Nanoha.
"I understand. Well, at least I think I do. So basically Frenda saved you and that is why she couldn't return home because her choice cost her own life as payment. Wow. I always thought that Frenda was a girl who would definitely choose to save herself over someone else in a life or death situation. But, I was wrong. Frenda was an incredibly selfless person. Frenda truly was a hero. To be honest, I don't think that I would have done the same thing in that situation. I would have probably gotten scared and I would choose to run away and let that person die instead of me. Does that make me a bad person, Aisa?" Saten said towards me with a weak smile on her face while wiping away the rest of her tears from her eyes as she asked me another question that was important to her.
"No. Choosing to run away from a situation that could cost your life if you make one bad move, does not make you a bad person, Saten. It's ok to run away from things that scare you because that's how you know for sure that you are human. But Saten, when the time comes that one of your friends is in a pinch, you should choose to prioritize saving them over yourself. I guess that makes me kind of a hypocrite, haha! However, that is what I believe in, and it's why I almost died at the end of the Night of Nights because I did exactly that. Even still, saving someone else does not make you a hero in my opinion. I'm not a hero, and I'm not a murderer either. I'm just Aisa Himegami." I said with an expressionless face while I gave my honest opinions and critiqued myself as Saten was utterly speechless and remained completely silent.
"I mean, it's not like I'm trying to say that I'm worthless or anything. That would be the absolute opposite I think I'm really awesome and cool! I also have plenty of badass one-liners that I use every now and then. But for some inexplicable reason, whenever I try to act cool, my friend Nanoha just laughs and calls me an idiot. Jeez! Nanoha can be so harsh sometimes, haha! Anyway, what I believe makes someone a true hero is that they stay by their most important person's side and live a normal life with them. Always being near the person that matters to you the most, I think that is what makes someone a true hero." I said with a cheerful smile on my face while eating some of the onigiris as I looked towards Saten's blue eyes.
"Haha! But yeah, I think that I agree with that, Aisa! Being together with the person that you care about the most and making them happy, that's pretty cool if you ask me! I wonder what the time is? Oh, crap! I got to go soon because I'm supposed to meet up with my friend Uiharu and go shopping with her! Anyway, it was nice meeting with you, Aisa! Here's my phone number, so let stay in touch, ok?" Saten said with an expression that was brimming with happiness that then turn into an expression that was full of shock and surprise while she stood up from where she was sitting and as she then proceeded to give me her phone number.
"I understand. The pleasure was all mine, so don't worry about it, Saten! Cool, that's a great idea! I'll give you my phone number too so just wait for one second. Here it is, so I'll see you later, Saten! H-Huh?! What was that?!" I said with a bright smile on my face while handing my phone number towards Saten as a huge sound echoed throughout the cemetery.
"I found you! I found you! I found you! I found you! I found you! I found you! I FINALLY FOUND YOU, AISA HIMEGAMI! AFTER ALL THIS TIME, ALL THIS TIME THAT I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD, YOU WERE ACTUALLY ALIVE! HA! HAHA! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! NOW, I CAN FINALLY KILL YOU MYSELF, YOU FUCKING BITCH!" A certain voice roared at the top of its lungs while stomping on the ground that made it crack and break apart as I looked towards the voice in order to figure out who said it.
"N-No?! I-It can't be?! M-My wish it was supposed to erase all traces of vampires from this world! T-This doesn't make any sense at all! So h-how are still alive, Spice Girl?!" I yelled with an expression that was brimming with fear while I couldn't stand or even move as I looked towards a certain girl with pink hair wearing golden armor that had many cracks all over it as the rain started to pour again even harder on me.
"How am I alive? That is your question? Ha! Haha! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! YOU DUMBASS! YOU ARE SUCH A FUCKING DUMBASS, HIMEGAMI AISA! THE REASON WHY I'M STILL ALIVE SHOULD BE OBVIOUS TO YOU! BUT, I'LL TELL YOU ANYWAY, I'M STILL ALIVE BECAUSE I'M NOT A TRUE VAMPIRE! I'M A HOMUNCULUS VAMPIRE! WHICH MEANS THAT YOUR WISH DID NOT WORK ON A VAMPIRE WHO WASN'T PURE SINCE I WAS CREATED BY MY MASTER! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" The pink-haired Spice girl named Mel roared again at the top of her lungs while she laughed in pure delight as she explained to me the reason why she is still alive.
"H-H-Hey, whoever you are! Why don't you just back off instead of being mean to Aisa! I don't know what Aisa did to you! But, from what I can tell, you deserved whatever punishment that you received! So leave! Go away! Just get the hell away from Aisa, you asshole!" Saten yelled at the top of her lungs with a determined look on her face while she stood in front of me and held both of her arms away from her body as she then looked directly towards Mel as some sweat started to drip from her forehead.
"Oh ho! So, I'm an asshole? That's what you just said, right? Ha! Haha! AHAHAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Wow! That was such a good laugh! I haven't laughed that hard in ages! Anyway, I guess that means I have to kill you too, little bitch." Mel said with an expression that was brimming with joy that then turned into an expression that showcased rage and hostility while her eyes stared back towards Saten's blue eyes with murderous intent in them as she proceeded to rush towards Saten at full speed!
"S-Shit! SATEN, RUN AWAY!" I yelled at the top of my lungs towards Saten while I stood up from where I was sitting and I pushed her away with all the strength that I could muster as I then looked towards the pink-haired Spice Girl named Mel who was now right in front of me.
"BUT FIRST BEFORE I KILL THAT LITTLE BITCH, I'LL KILL YOU HIMEGAMI AISA! HA! HAHA! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! WHAT'S WRONG? WHERE'S THAT CONFIDENCE YOU HAD WHEN YOU SPOKE TO ME EARLIER ON THE NIGHT OF NIGHTS? WHAT HAPPENED TO THE COCKY ATTITUDE YOU USED WHEN YOU SPOKE ABOUT MY MASTER, YOU FUCKING BITCH?!" Mel roared once again at the top of her lungs while she grasped my throat tightly as she pinned me down towards the ground near Frenda's grave.
"S-Stop that! W-What are doing to Aisa?! I-If you keep doing that to Aisa, you'll kill her!" Saten said with a very quiet voice that was almost a mutter but I barely managed to hear it while the Spice Girl Mel strangled my own throat violently.
"Eh? What are you even saying, you little bitch? OF COURSE, I'M TRYING TO KILL HER YOU DUMBASS! THIS GIRL, HIMEGAMI AISA WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR MURDERING MY MASTER! HIMEGAMI AISA ASSASSINATED THE VAMPIRE EMPEROR FRANZ FERDINAND WITHOUT ANY PITY OR REMORSE WHATSOEVER! SHE DESERVES TO DIE! SHE DESERVES TO DIE! SHE DESERVES TO DIE! THIS FUCKING BITCH DESERVES TO DIE SO I'M GOING TO MAKE HER SUFFER FOR HER SINS!" Mel roared at the top of her lungs again with an expression that was utterly deranged while she continued to strangle me violently but not hard enough so I wouldn't die.
"Ha! Haha! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! YES! THAT EXPRESSION ON YOUR FACE IS WONDERFUL! THAT EXPRESSION FULL OF PAIN AND AGONY IS SO AMAZING THAT I FEEL LIKE I COULD CUM A HUNDRED TIMES OVER IN RESPONSE TO IT! HEY! WHY AREN'T YOU LAUGHING? LAUGH, HIMEGAMI AISA, LAUGH! COME ON, LAUGH YOU FUCKING BITCH! I CAN'T HEAR YOU!" Mel roared once again at the top of her lungs while she continued to strangle me violently with both of her hands as the pressure kept getting harder and harder on my throat by the second. I can't stand up! I can't even scream! I can't do anything right now! Am I actually going to die again? Isn't there anything I could do now?
"Hey! Your voice is starting to really piss me off! So why don't you just shut the hell up already, asshole!" Saten roared at the top of her lungs with a pissed-off expression on her face while she walked towards the pink-haired Spice Girl named Mel and she proceeded to smash a brick on the top of her head!
"OW! THAT FUCKING HURT, YOU LITTLE BITCH! Ha! Haha! AHAHAHA! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! JUST KIDDING! THAT DIDN'T HURT AT ALL, YOU LITTLE BITCH! GUESS THIS MEANS I REALLY GOT TO KILL YOU FIRST! SO WAIT JUST A BIT HIMEGAMI AISA! AFTER I KILL THIS LITTLE BITCH, I'M GOING TO KILL YOU NEXT! DID YOU HEAR ME YOU FUCKING BITCH! HAHAHAHA!" Mel roared again at the top of her lungs with an expression that was full of rage and hostility that then became an expression full of ecstasy while she proceeded to let go of my throat as she then grabbed Saten's throat and strangled it violently in an effort to take her life.
What?! No! Dam it, Saten! Why didn't you just run away from me like I told you to do?! The reason why the girl named Ruiko Saten stayed with me was in order to protect me and save my life. I knew that. I knew that already. But, shit, Saten is such a liar! Wait a minute, it's my fault. It's my fault because I told her that she should defend her friends even if it were a life or death situation. No, even more than all of that, Saten tried to save me because she cares about me! Saten is a good person and she is my friend! Shit! Shit! Shit! Shit, what I'm supposed to do? What the hell I can do to save Saten when I don't have any powers right now?! I thought to myself while I proceeded to knock over my school bag out of a feeling of rage as the school bag tipped over and revealed a small stuffed bunny toy.
Huh?! What's that doing there?! Oh, I see now. That was Frenda's stuffed animal that she made with her own two hands. Haha! I can't believe that I almost thought I was truly powerless again. Even without the Esper ability, Deep Blood, or the Stand, King Crimson, I'm still not powerless. Yes, it's because I still have my strongest ability right here! I still have the power that can beat anything that dares to challenge it! Whether it's a god or a completely insane vampire, I can kill it! I can still fight because the most powerful ability that Aisa Himegami possesses is her willpower! So there is no way that I'm going to let that stupid vampire kill Saten!
"FRENDA! GIVE ME YOUR STRENGTH! THE STRENGTH THAT WILL ALLOW ME TO KILL THAT VAMPIRE BASTARD!" I roared at the top of my lungs with an expression that was brimming with determination as I then proceeded to throw that small stuffed bunny toy that Frenda made towards the pink-haired Spice girl named Mel. However, that wasn't a toy. It was actually a bomb and it was heading straight for Mel!
"Ha! Haha! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! WOW! YOU REALLY ARE DESPERATE IF YOU ARE TRYING TO THROW SOME RANDOM STUFFED ANIMAL TOWARDS ME! THAT MEANS YOU DON'T HAVE DEEP BLOOD ANYMORE! WHICH MEANS YOU ARE AS GOOD AS DEAD, HIMEGAMI AISA! HAHAHA-WAIT WHAT IS- OH SHIT!" Mel roared at the top of her lungs for the seventh time which then became an ear-piercing scream while the small stuffed bunny toy flew closer and closer towards Mel until it finally reached her as it then proceeded to create an explosion that was directly in her face!
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! IT HURTS! IT HURTS! IT HURTS! IT HURTS SO FUCKING MUCH! HIMEGAMI AISA, I'M GONNA FUCKING KILL YOU RIGHT NOW FOR THAT!" Mel screamed at the top of her lungs with an expression of absolute pain and agony that was peeling off of her face since her face was melting and gushed tons of blood from her head and onto the ground. The Spice Girl Mel proceeded to let go of Saten's neck and dropped her onto the ground while Saten gasped for breath as Mel then proceeded to rush towards me and struck her left arm into my own stomach!
"UGH! UAAH! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" I screamed at the top of my lungs with an expression that was brimming with absolute pain and agony that matched the Spice Girl Mel's expression moments earlier while she moved her left hand throughout my stomach and crushed something in my body as I was now struggling to breathe from my own mouth. It hurts! It hurts! It hurts! It hurts more than any pain I have ever received before this very moment! This Spice Girl, I think her name was Mel, crushed something that was very important! Since I'm struggling to breathe now, it must have been one of my lungs!
"Ha! Haha! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! YES! I SHATTERED IT! I COMPLETELY ANNIHILATED YOUR RIGHT LUNG, HIMEGAMI AISA! THOSE SCREAMS OF YOURS ARE ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! IT'S EVEN BETTER TO HEAR YOU SCREAM IN PAIN AND AGONY THAN I EVER THOUGHT IT WAS GOING TO BE! HAHAHA!" Mel said with an expression that was utterly deranged while pieces of flesh from her face continued to fall off along with her red blood as she then moved her left hand throughout my own stomach.
"AHHHHH! P-Please stop that! It hurts! It hurts so much! I'm begging of you! Please stop doing that to my stomach!" I screamed with an expression that was overflowing with pain and agony while I spit some of my own blood towards the Spice Girl Mel as she then proceeded to glare directly into my eyes with sheer murderous intent.
"How dare you! How dare you! How dare you! How dare you! How dare you! How dare you! HOW FUCKING DARE YOU SPIT IN MY FACE LIKE THAT YOU FUCKING BITCH! I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU FOR THAT, HIMEGAMI AISA!" Mel roared at the top of her lungs with an expression that showcased nothing more than hatred towards me as she then proceeded to move her hand throughout my stomach and crushed my only remaining lung, my left lung, and destroyed it!
"AH! AHHH! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" I screamed at the top of my lungs again with an expression that was brimming with pure pain and absolute agony while my left lung was completely obliterated by the Spice Girl named Mel as I could hear Saten crying her eyes out nearby me. It's no use. I'm going to die. Sorry Nanoha. I guess that this really is my fate at the very end. And then, just as I was about to lose all hope and give in to despair, a miracle revealed itself to me.
"HAHAHA-W-WHAT?! T-THE SUN?! WHAT THE HELL IS THE SUN DOING IN THE SKY RIGHT NOW?! IT HURTS! IT HURTS SO FUCKING MUCH!" Mel laughed that then became an ear-piercing scream while she continued to penetrate my defenseless stomach with her left hand as the sun started to reveal itself in the sky. Mel with everything she had tried to remove her left hand from my stomach, but I held onto her hand!
"W-WHAT?! D-DO YOU ACTUALLY WANT TO DIE, YOU SUICIDAL BASTARD?! LET GO! LET GO! LET GO! LET GO OF MY FUCKING HAND RIGHT NOW!" Mel screamed at the top of her lungs with an expression that was brimming with confusion while she tried to pull her left hand out of my own stomach but I stopped her as I grasped her left arm with both of my hands in order to prevent her from escaping from me!
"I-I REFUSE! I REFUSE TO LET YOU ESCAPE FROM ME! THERE IS NO WAY THAT I'M GOING TO LET YOU ESCAPE AND KILL ANYONE ELSE! NOW DIE! DIE YOU, VAMPIRE BASTARD!" I roared at the top of my lungs with an expression of resolve on my face while I continued to grasp both of the arms of the pink-haired Spice Girl named Mel and slammed my head onto hers with all of the strength that Aisa Himegami possesses as the sun finally started to shine on the both of us!
"NO! I DON'T WANT TO DIE! I DON'T WANT TO DIE! I DON'T WANT TO DIE! HIMEGAMI AISA, YOU FUCKING BITCH! AHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Mel screamed for the final time at the top of her lungs with an expression that was overflowing with absolute pain and hatred while the sun in the bright blue sky shined on the both of us as Mel proceeded to completely turn into ashes and disintegrate in an instant! The Spice Girl Mel was now utterly dead!
"I-It's over. It's finally over now, isn't it?" I said with an expression that was brimming with relief while a weak smile appeared on my face as blood started to gush out from my own stomach. In response, the girl named Ruiko Saten screamed towards me at the top of her lungs and ran towards me in an effort to keep me awake and alive. But, it was too late. It was too late because I had already blacked out while the sun in the bright blue sky shined onto my bloody and bruised body. However, at the last second, I thought that I saw something. At the very last second, before I proceeded to blackout, I thought that I noticed a certain girl with blonde hair and a black sailor top out of the corner of my eye. That girl looked very familiar to me, but it was no use because I had already lost consciousness in the next moment and I entered into a deep sleep.
Hello Everyone! Ren Here! First things first, only one more chapter left of this epilogue, and that will be the true end of this story! Anyway, for this chapter, I wanted to showcase Aisa's meeting with Ruiko Saten because both Saten and Frenda were friends in the A Certain Series. I also wanted to show Saten's reaction to Frenda dying and all of the emotions that came with that because she never found that out in the Anime. As well as all of that, I wanted to bring back the Spice Girl Mel because I left that conflict between both her and Aisa unresolved because Aisa had to fight Franz Ferdinand. Finally, now we are at the final act of this story, will Aisa be able to wake up or will she be trapped in a never-ending dream that will cost her life? The final chapter comes out tomorrow!
