My mom used to tell me stories about toys coming to life when no one is around. I didn't think that it's possible. She kept on insisting that it's possible. I then asked her, "If that's true, then how come I never saw that happening?" Mom looked at me and she said, "Well just because you haven't seen it happen doesn't mean that it will."
I took her word for it. Then she handed me something that was once hers, a moonstone necklace. It looked so beautiful to me. She then said, "This was once mine when I was about your age Monica, but now I want you to have it."
I put on the necklace and was in awe. I didn't know what to say at all. My mom then said, "You know exploring the yard with your dog will help you understand things more." I smiled and said, "Sure Mom, I'll do that now."
I got my german Shepard pup who is female named Jewel and started to walk with her in the yard. Jewel is only nine weeks old. I love her very much. Also it was nice of my mother to give me her necklace.
Then I began to notice my mother's necklace starting to glow. What's going on? What's happening? Before I had time to react however a flash of red and white covered me and Jewel and spun us around!
This is like a wild ride at a carnival. Then we both landed with a thud. I groaned and had a good look around. I got my eyes wide at what I'm seeing. Everything looks big to me and my dog.
I then said to my dog, "Jewel, I have a feeling that we're not at home anymore." We must be in a land where toys come to life.
