- Bobby's gone... he's moved...
Eames had just shouted his words, startling Barek.
Carolyn nodded her head.
She knew very well that Eames would react very badly to this news.
- Why did...
Barek, at Goren's request, had come to get Eames.
Goren had told her that he had to move for Alex's sake.
She should not ask him any questions...
And especially that she not try to understand.
Even with Logan's help.
Mike couldn't enlighten her.
The last thing she needed was for Eames to know that he was gone.
Goren had told her, he just couldn't stay.
He had asked her if she could take Eames in, and look after him.
He wanted Eames to be with someone he could trust...
And someone she knew well.
Barek couldn't refuse.
Eames was her friend.
She couldn't leave Alex alone, especially at that moment.
Eames was going to be distraught by Goren's departure.
He hadn't even come to say goodbye.
It was as if he had...
She had gone to question Logan, but even he didn't know anything about it.
He had just told her that the night before he had made the decision, he had gotten endlessly drunk.
Crying, and telling everything, and anything.
Logan had not told her more.
She had tried to draw the glasses of the nose to him...
But Logan had remained on his position.
Carolyn was sure he was hiding something important from her.
And that she should have known.
Goren couldn't leave like that, without even saying goodbye to Alex.
It wasn't logical.
He hadn't taken care of her...
To leave her like that.
Barek was lying to her!
Bobby hadn't left.
He couldn't have.
Not after he kissed her.
- I want to go to Goren's...
Carolyn shook her head sadly.
Alex didn't believe a word she was saying.
And the only way to convince her was to take her to Goren's house.
But she was afraid of how Eames would react...
When she realized that Goren was really gone.
She could already see the drama.
When she arrived at the door of Goren's apartment, Barek put the key in the lock, turned it, and lowered the handle, opening the door.
Alex rushed into the apartment.
- Alex... Wait...
Too late, she had already rushed into the apartment.
Alex stopped, as if forbidden.
In front of her, there was only a big apartment, and empty.
She rushed to the bedroom, and opened the door.
Her heart stopped beating.
Empty...
The room was empty.
Goren is gone...
Carolyn's words began to take up space in her head, until she realized the reality of the situation.
Bobby was gone.
He had abandoned her.
Her heart broke into a thousand pieces, tears came to her eyes.
It couldn't be...
He hadn't...
And yet...
It was true.
She dropped to her knees, held her head in her hands, and screamed.
Alex's scream pierced Carolyn's heart and she rushed to her side.
She crouched down, put her hands on his arms.
- Alex...
- Ah...
She screamed even more.
She was in pain...
So much pain.
Barek felt helpless.
What could she have said...
What could she do...
A violent pain went through Eames' brain, making her scream even louder.
- It hurts...
My God…
Alex was screaming in pain, clutching his skull with her hands, her face disfigured by the pain.
She had to rush him to the doctor...
Or call an ambulance.
Alex had a violent blackout.
She clutched at Barek.
Flashbacks raced through her brain.
And suddenly she came to a complete stop.
She collapsed in Carolyn's arms.
- Alex...
My God...
Eames had just lost consciousness.
She had to be taken to the emergency room.
But she couldn't carry her alone.
Logan.
Yes, she had to tell Logan.
- Barek...
At Logan's cry of concern, Carolyn gasped.
- Here...
Logan rushed in the direction, where the voice was coming from.
He entered the room, and rushed to Barek's side, who was holding Alex in his arms.
- She had a bad headache... She had tears in her eyes. And...
Logan crouched down to her level, and gently took Eames from Brek's arms, lifting her into his arms.
- Bobby...
Barek and Logan gasped at Alex's whisper.
Carolyn stood up, and walked over to Alex, leaning her face into his.
- Alex...
Let's hope she's not dreaming...
And that it was indeed Alex who had whispered.
Large hazel eyes were posed on the face of Carolyn.
Barek felt his heart coming back to life.
Alex had just opened his eyes.
Her tears slid down her cheeks.
- You're crying Carolyn...
Alex felt like two arms were holding her.
Could it be Bobby...
She looked up, and met a familiar face, but not the one she had hoped for.
- Logan?
Logan looked at Barek as if forbidden.
Eames remembered him...
- Why are you carrying me...
What the hell...
How to explain to him...
Tell him what had just happened.
Gently, Logan placed Eames on the ground.
Barek took her hand in his, smiling.
- Carolyn... I remember everything...
It was wonderful that Eames had regained his memory.
But his heart sank.
Goren was not here to see this.
And above all, she had been...
So afraid...
When Eames had collapsed in her arms.
She had feared the worst.
Alex turned her attention to where they were.
Bobby's apartment...
And suddenly she realized.
Bobby was gone.
He had kissed her, and he had run away from her.
- He abandoned me...
Her heart broke into a thousand pieces.
Her big hazel eyes became clouded with tears.
She burst into tears, and threw herself into Carolyn's arms, clinging to her desperately.
Carolyn the heart tightened, tightened it with softness against her, caressed her back.
Logan was as forbidden, in front of the scene which took place before his eyes.
He assisted to a scene that he could have only imagined, and not to see.
But fate had decided otherwise.
He knew why Goren had left.
The day before Goren left...
They had had a drink together.
And Goren had drunk himself to death.
He admitted to her that he had kissed his partner.
And that this was why he had to get away from her.
That Eames had become too important to him, and that he could no longer see her as a partner, or a little sister.
He saw her as a woman.
And he was ashamed of the thoughts he had about her.
Goren thought Eames would hate him if he took advantage of her weakness during her memory loss.
And before anything dramatic happened, he preferred to leave.
How to explain to Eames that Goren didn't leave because he didn't want to be with her...
But that it was just the opposite.
Why had she recovered her memory at that moment...
At the worst moment of her life.
Goren left...
What would become of her without him...
She couldn't live without him.
He had been there for her throughout her recovery, pampering her, cherishing her.
He had been so kind, so gentle with her.
That as time went by...
She had fallen in love with him.
And now...
There was nothing left of him.
She found herself alone...
And helpless.
How was she going to make it without him...
The feelings she had for Bobby, had nothing to do with his amnesia.
It wasn't sympathy.
It was love.
A love that she had seen being born over the years...
And that had been affirmed during her amnesia.
Now that she knew that...
He was no longer there.
