"And if you let me Alina and consent to be my wife there is a church in town and we can make it official before we leave. We can go home as husband and wife, but if you are not ready that is okay. I will protect you.."

"Aleks you can't protect me from gossip I will be a ruined women if I returned unmarried"

Aleksander looked down he knew he couldn't protect even if he claimed their children and they will still unwed

"Aleksander will I be your equal will you tell me everything, will you let me help make decision for our future or will you over rule"

"Alina you will be my equal, my Tsarina, my light to my darkness. I will make sure you know everything and help with the decision for our future and the future of Ravka. You will be my wife you will have my name Alina Morozova"

Alina liked the sound of that name but then she realised he never used that name it was Kirigan, "is Morozova your proper last name? Because I met you as Kirigan."

"The name Kirigan is just a long line of names I have used over the centuries to be a different person, but my true name is Aleksander Morozova. Maybe for awhile you will need to use Kirigan"

"You also said I will be your Tsarina what does the mean?"

"At one stage I plan to take over and become Tsar, the man running the country doesn't care, but after the last few months I decided to let you choose. I will still let you but you should know when I spoke to Mal he explain how unhappy the first army is that the Tsar ignore their request for basic needs (Alina nodded as she was aware of the unhappiness.) Mal also told me that he has seen the serf been treated so badly by their Master because the King and the Royal family allow this to happen. As you said we should all be free from oppression, I want a better world"

"you know the King has another son"

" yes Nikolai a good boy when I knew him, but he isn't the Tsar son he is the Tsarina from her affair. And nobody knows where he is, he may also not want to be Tsar either."

There was another knock on the door, "yes we are coming Nina" Aleksander shouted out.

"Sorry sir the captain of the boat wants to talk to you"

Aleksander looked at Alina she gave him a tight smile and he got up, " I will be out in a moment Grigory"

Alina got up and put on her dress, Aleksander turned her around so he could lace her back in, "Please not to tight"

"Alina" he asked worryingly

Alina turned her head and replied "All good Aleks my breast are just tender today, guessing pregnancy symptoms"

"I'm sorry that our conversation got cut short when I'm done speaking to the captain I will come and find you. I want everything either fix between us or on the way to be mended" he kissed her on the cheek

She turned and replied, "I would like that to"

Aleksander took her arm and lead Alina to the dining room he sat her down next Nina and went and got her food. When he came back he gave her a bowl of fruit and some oats, he kissed her on the head and went off to the library.

"Don't" Alina said cutting off Nina, "you either heard or use your powers so you know"

Nina smiled, "I did both, I'm so happy for you both"

Alina smiled she was to hungry to answer so she just kept eating her food, Nina knew she wouldn't get any detail from Alina so once they had finished breakfast she told Alina there was a small library if she want to do some reading.

Alina walked in there and managed to find a book she was interested in and sat down on a chair starting to read. When Mal walked in her saw her reading and stroking her bump, she looked peace compared to when she was eating breakfast where she had a lot on her mind.

"For someone who got laid twice last night you are very quiet today" Mal teased.

She rolled her eyes, "don't be crude"

"fine made love then" Mal said sitting on a chair facing her.

"Mal .."

"Alina I'm surprised you 2 haven't run off to a church to get married yet" Mal replied

Alina sighed and stopped reading her book to actually look at Mal, "he asked, I wasn't sure"

"Alina whether or not you are sure he has to do the right thing and marry his pregnant.."

"I'm not his lover please don't say it but we have things to work out"

"No Alina as much as I hate the guy after shouting at him then talking to him later I agree with a lot of his plans which now include us normals (he rolled his eyes and smiled) some of his plans he need to change but hopeful the outcome will be better for all. I get why Novokribirsk was target there were people who wanted to kidnap and kill you, even I would have gone off the deep end but not that far as he did. Alina I even believe he would make a good Tsar he actually cares and most what happens at the little Palace is to protect and unfortunately, they are used in the army because our Tsar is useless. The General has been the one to stock up our divisions not the Tsar..."

"So if he made Tsar you would stand beside him"

"Yes Alina if he keeps proving that he wants better for all. And you need to get your head out of the clouds if I got a girl .. sorry women pregnant I would Marry her because that the right thing to do so my child wouldn't be a bastard and the women wouldn't be labelled a whore or be treated less. The difference for you is the General loves you and you love him, he will protect you and your child .."

"Mal I'm having twins"

Mal looked shocked, "gee your goanna get fat"

She threw the book that was on her lap at him but Mal caught it, he got up gave it back to her kissing her on the head then said, "you will be a beautiful pregnant women"

She started to cry, "you never told me I was beautiful ever"

Mal hugged her, " I didn't make you beautiful the General did with his love, and the way he looked after you"

And he left her there to think, a little while later Nina came in to let Alina know lunch was being served and the General was going to make an announcement.

Alina followed Nina to the bar area and sat down with her and Mathias. Mathias had got the girls food, Alina looked at it but she pushed it away, "Sorry" Alina wanted to vomit with the smell and she put her hand over her mouth. Nina moved it away and Mathias grabbed it and took it off the table, "Mathias will grab you something else we will see if that is okay for you"

Alina nodded her head and Mathias brought something different over and Alina thanked Mathias and began. Aleksander came into the room with the Captain and cleared his throat to get everyone's attention.

"good afternoon everyone I just wanted everyone know that we will be leaving tomorrow morning the captain has informed me they have almost finish packing our things and we will have good weather whilst travelling. If you need to get anything please do it this afternoon and take it to the boat. Thank you" and with that the captain and the General left the building.

Alina finish her food and got up leaving Mathias and Nina and head out of the building to see if she could see Aleksander the Port was very busy she decided she didn't want to leave the building so she turned back to see Mal. "I know which boat is the Generals if you would like to see him"

"Please Mal, I want to see him"

Mal put his hand around her waist to protect Alina and took her to the boat which wasn't to far away. WHen they got onto the boat Aleksander was talking to the Captain but he felt Alina present and he turned nodding back at the captain and walk to Mal and Alina.

"Mal .." Aleksander said

"Your baby mummy wants to talk to you" Mal laughed

"Mal" Alina huffed and pushed him off her

"Its okay Alina come we will talk in the cabin, thank you Mal"

Aleksander took Alina's hand and lead her to the cabin, when they were in and he close the door he asked , "are you okay?"

She looked down and he walked to her so he could hug her "yes" she said mumbling into his chest.

"what" he asked as he didn't really here her.

Alina stepped away and looked at Aleksander and smiled, "yes I will be your wife Aleksander "
