The blonde woman stared out of the office window, looking towards her home. 5 years had past since she was made Hokage of Konoha. A sigh escaped her lips, feeling the loneliness in her chest come back. Tsunade stood up and walked out of the office, ending her day of work. She walked to her little home on the far east of town and noticed a familiar pink haired girl walking up with a blonde haired girl beside her. "Hey sensei, ending your day early?" Tsunade nodded and walked by them. "Yeah, see you in the morning." She walked inside her small home and sat on the couch. Grabbing the bottle of her favorite drink off the counter, she chugged it and sighed. Laying back on the couch, she closed her eyes just as a knock came to the door. "Dammit." Walking up to the door, she opened it and saw her student on the other side. "What do you want?" "Came to ask if you were alright. You've been acting strange lately." "I'm fine." She slammed the door and leaned against it, looking at the ground. 'Its the anniversary, i always get this way around this time' she thought. The next morning, the woman began doing her paperwork as usual and heard a knock on the door. "Enter." She heard footsteps walk closer and looked up at her student. "Morning Sakura." "I'm sorry for bothering you last night." Tsunade sighed and shook her head. "I'm sorry for my behavior, just a lot on my mind. I don't really have anything for you but I'm sure Kakashi and Naruto wouldn't mind the help with their mission." She watched the girl walk up and place a folded piece of paper on the desk before walking out. The woman looked at it confused then opened the letter and read it. 'You have been down all week so I wanna try to help. Come to my house tonight at 7'. Tsunade folded the paper back up then continued on with her work. Once her day ended, she walked out of the building and looked at the time. 'I feel this is a bad idea' she thought, but walked to Sakura's house anyway. She stood in front of the door for a long minute then softly knocked. Watching the door open, she saw the pink haired girl standing there in a white tank top with one of the straps falling down her shoulder and red shorts that went to mid thigh. "Wasn't expecting you to actually come over." Tsunade sighed and said, "I wasn't planning to but this is where I ended up." "Come on in then." The blonde haired woman walked inside the house and followed the girl to the living room. "Make yourself at home." She sat down and watched Sakura sit in a chair across from her. "So what's been going on?" "You wouldn't understand." She saw the pink haired girl nod and reply, "Probly not but talking might make you feel better." Tsunade sighed and began explaining about the last ninja war she was in and how she lost her beloved named Dan. "I failed to save him in time so every year around this time, I just get in a slump. I miss him every day but nothing I can do now will bring him back." She felt arms around her neck and looked up to see that Sakura had moved and was sitting next to her. "I wish there was something i could say to make it better but I cant." Tsunade felt her heart start to race and laid the girl on the couch. "Sensei?" The blonde woman leaned down and pressed her lips to the girls for a long minute before getting up and walking out of the home. She stood outside of the home for a long minute, her cheeks a bright red color. Quickly walking to her house, she shut the door and leaned against it. 'Shit, why did I do that' she thought. The next morning, Tsunade walked out of her home after a long night of no sleep and saw her student waiting for her. The woman paused and felt her heart drop to her stomach, her cheeks burning once again. "We need to talk about last night." The blonde woman sighed and looked away. "I'm sorry for that, truly I am. I don't know what came over me." She felt a hand in hers and looked at the bright green eyes of the girl. "Did it help you?" The woman stared at the girl confused for a long minute then sighed and nodded. "It did, but i know that is something you never wanted." She felt the girl pull her inside the house and close the door. The Hokage leaned against the door and felt arms around her neck. Lips quickly touched hers, making her eyes grow wide as the girls orbs disappeared behind her eye lids. After a few seconds, Tsunade relaxed and closed her eyes. She wrapped her arms around the girls waist and felt Sakura pull away. "You see Tsunade, I really liked what you did last night. All I could think about was your soft lips against mine. Even if you didn't mean it, the feeling was amazing to me." She stared at the girl for a long minute then leaned back in and whispered, "You've really grown into a beautiful girl after all these years. Anyone would be lucky to have you." "I only see one person in my sights right now." Tsunade sighed and said, "This isnt right Sakura." She watched the girl giggle and say, "Yeah, i know this already. I better go find Kakashi and Naruto." The woman nodded and let the girl go. She saw Sakura smile and felt lips on her cheek. "Do me a favor and at least think about this. If it calms you down then whats the hurt?" She watched the girl leave and thought about the question. The woman sat on her couch and leaned her head back, looking at the ceiling. 'I dont want to hurt her feelings, thats the last thing i wanna do' she thought. Tsunade sat at her desk staring at the stack of papers in front of her. The kiss was still fresh on her mind. 'Why did it have to feel nice, what the hell is wrong with me' she thought, laying her head on the table. As afternoon passed, Tsunade walked out of the building and saw her student walk up. "Wanna come over for some tea?" The woman sighed and replied, "Sure, might calm me down a little." She sat on the girls couch with a cup in her hand and watched Sakura walk down the hall. Sipping the tea, she sighed and stared at the cup. She heard a door open and looked over to see the girl walk out in a pink tank top and panties. Tsunade felt her cheeks turn red and looked away. "Don't worry, I'm not gonna do anything. Just wanted to get comfy is all." The woman sipped the cup and heard, "You can't look at me the same as before, can you?" "No, I can't; all I picture is your lips on mine. It felt really nice but isn't it idiotic to do this? I'm sure someone in the village has feelings for you." Silence rang in her ears for a long minute. She looked over and saw Sakura looking at the ground with a frown on her face. "Who would like me? I'm useless compared to anyone else. I have no talent, no skills. What good am I to someone?" She saw the girl shed a few tears before rubbing her eyes. Tsunade frowned and set the cup down. She pulled the girl on top of her lap and wiped the tears away. "You have an amazing talent Sakura. You are able to save lives when there is no hope left for them. You can create an earthquake just by touching the ground. Whoever sees your gifts as useless are the worthless ones, not you." "You're just saying that because you're my sensei." Tsunade caressed the girls cheek and said, "I'm saying the truth Sakura." Lips crashed into hers as she closed her eyes. Arms linked around her neck. She wrapped her arms around the girls waist as her tongue explored Sakura's mouth. The woman heard a moan come from the girl as fingers twirled in her hair. She pulled away, a string of saliva between them as she saw the girls cheeks turn red. "I'm sorry, I wasn't intending on doing that." Tsunade shook her head and said, "You need to know that someone cares for you. I'm just not sure if I'm the right person to show those feelings." "You're doing a pretty good job so far." The blonde woman sighed a little and pecked the girls lips, seeing the blush grow darker on the pink haired girls cheeks. "Sakura, listen to me. There is a huge age gap between us, just the thought of a teacher/student relationship sounds wrong and no one would be able to find out about this in the first place. Why would you wanna go through that?" She felt hands cup her neck as emerald eyes sparkled at her. "Because you make me happy. No one else has ever made my heart skip a beat like you have and you've been doing that to me way before this kiss." Tsunade stared at the girl for a while then nodded. Soft lips touched hers for a long minute before pulling away. Her heart lunged out of her chest at that moment, knowing there was no turning back. "Then I guess we better get to know each other." She saw the girl smile a little and move to the other cushion. "What would you like to know?" The woman smiled a little and replied, "Your likes and dislikes, hobbies, that kinda stuff. I know the ninja side of you, but not the Sakura side." Lips pecked hers as the girl replied, "Well i like that." Tsunade chuckled and pulled the girl back in her lap. She heard Sakura giggle and say, "Ok I'll be good now. Anyway, I like reading and hanging out with friends. Don't really have much of a hobby but when I do have some free time I like to cook. And my dislikes are Naruto for many reasons." The woman chuckled and nodded. She felt the girls head rest against her shoulder and saw the emerald eyes hidden away. "Your turn." Tsunade thought for a minute then replied, "My one hobby I had was gambling but had to quit that when I became Hokage. I like going for a walk at night because its peaceful and it helps clear my head of my worries. And I dislike a lot of things including that bastard Jiraiya." She heard Sakura giggle and say, "Maybe we can have a hobby together." "I would like that." Tsunade looked at her watch and said, "Its late so I better be going." She watched the girl get up and nod. "I'm off from my duties tomorrow so I can bring you lunch, just as friends I mean. I know this has to be a secret and I don't mind that." The woman stood up and pecked the girls lips, seeing the blush return under the emerald eyes. She smiled and said, "I wouldn't mind that actually, but something light if you can. I don't really eat much." Lips touched her cheek as the girl said, "Alright, goodnight Tsunade." "Night Sakura." The woman walked home and closed the door, feeling a blush cover her face as she remembered what just occurred. 'Guess this is it, I'm reeled in now' she thought, feeling her heart skip a beat as she pressed a finger to her lips. The woman sat at her desk filling out paperwork as usual just as a knock came to the door. "Enter." Not looking up from her paperwork, she heard soft steps walk up. Looking up, she saw Sakura in a blue short sleeve shirt, white shorts while her hair was up. "Hey sensei, how's it going?" Tsunade pointed to the stack of papers and said, "Same as usual; you look comfy by the way." She saw the girl smile and nod. "A few of us are heading to the lake so I brought your lunch early." She watched the girl put a container on the edge of the desk and say, "You said light so I made 4 lettuce wraps with chicken salad in the middle. Not sure if you'll like them but you never said what you eat." The woman smiled and said, "They sounds good, thanks. Go have fun, its your day off after all." She saw the girl smile and wink. "Later sensei." In a puff of smoke, the girl disappeared. Tsunade chuckled to herself and shook her head. After a while, she opened the container and saw a note tape to the inside of the lid. She looked at the note that read, 'I was hoping we had a bit more time today but thats ok. Enjoy the lunch and I'll be home this evening if you wanna stop by for dinner'. Tsunade smiled and started eating. 'Its bad to think this but, I might actually start to enjoy life because of her' she thought. The woman walked around town, seeing children run up and down the street chasing each other. She smiled and waved as they ran off. Looking over at the sweets shack, she saw Anko, Kurenai and Kakashi sitting together. "Hey, decided to feel the sun on your face?" The purple haired woman said while stuffing her face. Tsunade rolled her eyes and leaned against the post. "I do get out of the office ya know." "So Sakura has been in a good mood the last few days. Curious people would like to know why." The copy ninja said. Tsunade shrugged and looked up at the blue sky. "That is a question I can't answer. We don't talk about personal things, we just train." "What kind of sensei are you to not wanna know your students personal life?" Anko said, finally finishing her snack. The blonde woman rolled her eyes again and asked, "Why did i even bother coming over here?" "Because you love me." She watched Kurenai hit Anko from behind. Tsunade chuckled and said, "Finally someone who can shut you up." "Its rather difficult but she is learning her manners." The red eyed woman replied. She waved as she walked away, heading back to the office. 'She is happy huh, i don't think I've ever seen her happy before' she thought. "Ok spill it, whats really going on?" She looked over and saw Kakashi standing next to her. "I'm not sure I know what you mean." "Did she finally confess?" Tsunade stopped and stared at the man confused. "Sakura has had feelings for you for a long time Tsunade. She hides them well but lately it seems something happened. I dont want to know your business, just dont hurt the kids feelings. She is finally over Sasuke and thats how it should be." Standing there silent for a long minute, she sighed and looked at the ground. "What you say did happen but not in that order. I don't want this spread around the village, that would ruin her life." She felt a hand on her shoulder and looked up st the masked man. "As I said, its your business. Who knows, it might benefit you as well but don't crush her feelings. She has had enough heartache for a child." The moon rose in the sky as Tsunade stood on the gate. A smile on her face as the stars twinkled above her. She felt a hand on hers and looked over at the pink haired girl. "Hey, did you guys just get back?" "Yeah, Akamaru had to pee on every tree we saw." The woman chuckled then went back to looking up at the stars. "I got you something, although I doubt you would use it." The woman looked back and was handed a cellphone. "It has my number in it so you can text me whenever." She looked at the phone and saw the screen light up. She messed with it for a few minutes then put it in her pocket. "Not used to the new gadgets but I'll learn. By the way, Kakashi knows. Your behavior lately kinda put the pieces together today and he had a talk with me." She saw the girl frown and say, "I'm sorry about that, I didn't think i was acting different. What did he say?" Tsunade looked at the moon and replied, "Told me to not hurt your feelings and that us together might actually help me out. Just gonna have to be more careful with this secret." "Ok, well I'm gonna head home so I'll see you in the morning." The woman looked at the girl and said, "I'll walk you home." They walked in silence down the road, her hands in her pockets. Looking over, she saw Sakura looking at the ground. 'Did i say something wrong' she thought. Following the girl inside, she closed the door and felt lips on hers. Tsunade picked the girl up, feeling legs around her waist and walked to the couch. She sat down as a tongue explored her mouth. A moan escaped as she sucked the girls tongue, feeling hands rub her arms. She ran her hands up the girls shirt and felt Sakura pull away. "Sorry, too fast." The blonde woman nodded and placed her hands on the girls hips. "I'm sorry, just got carried away." She felt the girls head against her chest and heard, "Is this really ok Tsunade? Do you regret this?" The woman shook her head and replied, "Honestly, no I don't. If you don't mind keeping this secret then I'm ok with this." "I dont mind that, not everyone should know our personal business. I'm sorry about Kakashi though. I honestly didn't know I was acting different." She kissed the girls head and said, "No harm done; by the way, lunch was delicious." She saw Sakura pick her head up and say, "I'm glad you liked them. I could make lunch for you every day." Tsunade shook her head and said, "I dont want you to feel obligated to do that." "Its not an obligation, I'm making sure you eat. Tsunade, I want to do this, its not like you're making me." She nodded and smiled. "I wouldnt mind it actually. Now I better get home before Anko busts my door down in again." She heard Sakura giggle as she stood. Tsunade got up and pecked the girls lips. "Goodnight Sakura." "Goodnight." Tsunade walked home and saw Anko and Kurenai by her door. She rolled her eyes and heard, "There's a rumor going around the jounin about you." She walked inside her home and asked, "Yes i know I have a drinking problem." "No not that one, this is different." She looked back and asked, "What could it possibly be this time?" "That you and Kakashi are dating." Kurenai replied. She looked at them for a long minute then said, "How did you find out?" "Wait its true?!!" Anko yelled. She watched Kurenai slap the purple haired woman and say, "Big mouth." "Whatever you wanna believe. Now shut up and let's play mahjong already, I need drinking money."
"So this is what you meant by secret date." Tsunade sat on the blanket and leaned against the tree as the sun set. "Not like we can really go out so I improvised." She saw the pink haired girl smile and sit next to her. She intertwined her fingers with the girls and heard, "I like this a lot. What made you decide this though?" "Well with the rumor flowing that me and Kakashi are dating, its hard to find time with you when i have to pretend to be with him." She felt Sakura in her lap as hands cupped her neck. "Then let me give you something you mightve missed." Tsunade smiled and wrapped her arms around the girls waist. She pressed her lips to the pink haired girls and heard Sakura moan. The woman laid her girlfriend down on the ground and felt legs around her waist. Running her hands down the girls thighs, Tsunade moved her fingers up the girls shorts a little and heard Sakura moan louder. Slowly pulling away, sparkling eyes stared at her. The woman felt hands run down to her chest as lips touched hers once again. "I missed you." Tsunade smiled and said, "I missed you too." She saw Sakura smile; the blonde woman buried her head in the girls neck. "Whats wrong?" "I really missed you. It was hard not being able to see you outside of just training." Fingers ran through her hair and heard, "I know but we have time now so lets eat." Tsunade sat up and pulled Sakura back into her lap. She took a cake pop out of the basket and put it to the girls mouth. She watched the girl eat it as a bit of chocolate dripped down Sakuras chin. She licked it off and saw the girl giggle. "So this is where you two are hiding." The woman looked up and saw Kakashi sitting in the tree with a book in his hand. "If he is here then the crowd won't be too far behind. I better go." Her girlfriend said. Tsunade looked at Sakura who had a frown on her face. "But Sakura…" "No, your reputation needs to be good. At least i got a little time with you." She watched the girl disappear and sighed. Sakura sat on her bed with her head on her knees, tears streaming down her cheeks. 'This won't work, not like I wanted' she thought. With the moon high in the sky, Sakura walked through the gate with a bag over her shoulder. Once the sun started to rise, Sakura sat in a room in Tanzaku Town. She stared at the ceiling and heard her phone beep. Looking at the phone, she saw a text from Tsunade. 'Where are you?? I've been looking for you everywhere'. A tear ran down her cheek, typing in her response then buried her head in the pillow. "I'm not going back." Tsunade sat on her couch as the phone beeped. She looked at the text that read, 'Goodbye'. The woman sighed and set the phone down. She leaned back and closed her eyes, a tear running down her cheek. 'This is not what I wanted' she thought. Tsunade walked to the gate and saw Kakashi sitting in his usual spot. "Going after her?" "Watch things for me." "Uh huh." The Hokage ran into Tanzaku Town and walked around. A glimpse of pink caught her attention and looked over to see Sakura walking out of the small hotel with a bag in her hand. 'She is leaving again' she thought. Tsunade walked behind the girl and wrapped her arms around Sakura. "What are you doing here Tsunade?" "Came to bring you back. There was no reason for you to.." She paused as Sakuras body started to tremble. The blonde woman turned the girl around and saw tears running down the girls cheeks. She frowned and held the girl close. "I'm so sorry, i didnt know you were so hurt." She felt the girl pull away and saw a big frown on the girls face. "Of course you don't know because you don't want me like I want you. Just please…leave me alone." Tsunade sighed and lifted the girl off the ground. She walked out of the small town and walked into the woods. Setting the girl down, she pinned Sakura against a tree and kissed her forehead. "You're wrong. I love you Sakura. I want nothing more than to be with you every minute of the day. Kakashi and I pretending to date was not to save my reputation but to save yours. I dont care what people think about me but you, you're still a teenager and the last thing i want is people to judge you." She saw the girl stare at her for a long minute then look down. "I'm sorry for acting like a child." "No, do not apologize. You were hurt and I knew that. I just didn't know how hurt you really were. When you said you were gone, I wasn't really sure on what I was going to do with my life, but I needed to find you." She hugged the girl and said, "I need to get back before Shizune starts a search party again but come back when youre ready." "I'll sneak back to my house in a few hours." Tsunade pulled away and pecked the girls lips. "These last few weeks have been amazing to me and I'm sorry we haven't had much time together but that will change." Tsunade sat at her desk doing her usual work and heard the phone beep. She looked at the text that read, 'I just got home'. She smiled and replied, 'Come to my house tonight'. Looking back at her work, she watched the door open and saw Anko and Kurenai walk in. She looked at them confused and saw Anko walk closer and lean over the desk. "Why didn't you tell us the truth?" "Truth about what?" She felt a hand hit the back of her head as Kurenai said, "Anko is talking about you and Sakura. Kakashi told us everything." She rubbed her head and grunted. "Fucking loud mouth." "You're dating your student!!?" Tsunade stood up and covered the womans mouth with her hand. "Will you shut the fuck up and quit being so loud?!!" "So what he said was true huh?" The red eyed woman asked her. Tsunade sighed and sat back down. "Yes, its true and if she found out you two knew she would kill me. She wanted this to be a secret just as much as i do." She saw Anko smirk then disappear. "Where the hell did she go?" "Who knows with her." Tsunade rubbed her temples and let out a loud sigh. "What the hell Anko?!!" The blonde woman looked up, recognizing the voice and saw the purple haired woman walk in with Sakura over her shoulder. She watched the woman drop the girl on the floor and shake her head. Suddenly Anko was on the ground as Sakura sat on top of her. "I keep telling everyone not to mess with the girl." "Why the hell am i here anyway?" She saw Anko look up and say, "To see your girlfriend." The blonde woman watched Sakura glance at her. "Whoa hey I did not say a word. That was Kakashi's doing." She watched Sakura get up and sigh. "How many other morons know?" "Hey who are you calling a moron?!!" Anko yelled, watching the woman get in the girls face. "I think she was referring to you." Kurenai replied as Tsunade chuckled a little. "Look, just keep your mouth shut, if that's possible anyway." Tsunade watched Sakura start to walk out just as Anko said, "What, no kiss goodbye?" Suddenly, she watched Sakuras fist connect to Anko's cheek as she yelled, "How is this for a goodbye!!!?" The blonde woman watched the purple haired woman fly out of the window, going over the gate. She chuckled and said, "Couldn't have done that any better." "I learned from the best. Now I'm going back home, see you tonight." She waved a little and heard Kurenai chuckle. She looked at the woman confused who said, "Match made in heaven i say. I'll make sure Anko doesn't say anything but all in all, this doesn't seem like a bad idea." Tsunade sighed and said, "Maybe but only time will tell. Although I can honestly say these last few weeks have been nice and she makes me happy which is hard to do." Sakura walked to the Hokages house once the moon brightened the sky and knocked on the door. She watched it open and saw Tsunade in a bath robe and shorts with the top opened a bit and her hair up. She felt her cheeks burn and saw the woman chuckle. "Don't worry, I didnt want you over here for that reason. Come on in." The pink haired girl walked inside and sat on the couch next to the woman. "So what did you want me over here for?" "So we could talk and spend some time together. There is no secret motive, I promise. I just got out of the shower a few minutes ago and wanted to be comfy." The girl nodded and looked at the floor. "Sorry, its hard not to stare." She heard the woman giggle and say, "Thats alright; so now 3 people know our secret." Sakura nodded and asked, "Are you still ok with this?" She felt a hand on hers and looked over at the smiling woman. "Yes, I am; now lets eat." She sat there with a bowl of rice in her hand and a plate of beef and chicken on the coffee table in front of her. Glancing over, she saw Tsunade nibbling the food. She set the bowl down on the table and heard, "Is everything ok?" She laid her head on one of the womans legs and closed her eyes. "Just tired." "Then rest." She laid on her side facing the tv and felt a hand on her hip. She grabbed the hand and pulled it towards her chest, intertwining their fingers. "Sakura?" "Yes?" She felt a thumb graze over her knuckles as Tsunade said, "I love you." The girl felt her heart lunge and closed her eyes, a smile on her face. "I love you too."
