"Shit" "Saints"
The gentleman turned around and saw Alina standing at the door just in her night ware hand on her bump.
"Alina" gasped Aleksander but she interrupted him
"Freydor, how many died when the little Palace was attacked?"
"Alina??" Aleksander didn't want her to worry
"No this is my fault if I hadn't of run .."
"It wouldn't have matter Tsarina" Ivan stood up
"Yes Aleksander would have been here .."
"Tsarina even if the General had been here we were out number .."
"if Novokribirsk hadn't happen, if I stayed after the Fete the Tsar wouldn't have been angry"
"what do you mean, Tsarina?" Freydor asked
"Alina , call me Alina" she scowled and kept going, "Vasiliy told me on the boat they found out what Aleksander and I did and the Tsar was angry. I ask what was next and Vasiliy told me only I could protect the Grisha by marrying him but he lied." Alina start to cry and Aleksander stood up and raced to her hugging her to support her.
"My sun, Novokribirsk was my fault only the General and a few of his men should have died not the city I was wrong"
"But I ran instead of talking..."
"no you were both stuiped love struck fools, but forget the past we need to fix the future making Ravka safe for all, since you have changed your tune" Ivan growled
Aleksander frowned at Ivan, Ivan was usually the quiet type.
"General what my husband is trying to say is that you both got to focus on each other but didn't communicate on what was expected of Alina when she was ready. General we know you had your plans pretty much set in stone until you turned up Alina and we knew the General wanted to make you the strongest Grisha with the amplifiers for you benefit. I'm not sure what happen at the fold"
"I know Aleksander and I have spoken about what had happened and forgiven each other. I'm sorry I'm hormonal and tired I know we need to learn from our mistakes and be better for the future" Alina replied
Aleksander led Alina to the couch so she could rest and continued, "what is next? I was trying to set up council to help so we could re negotiate with both Shu and Frejdan"
"Alina the other council members were told that you became unwell and are happy to wait for a few days til you are ready. I think a few of them have some ideas that they wish to present to you about the negotiations that were left out"
"what about the Apparat?" Alina asked shaking a little
Aleksander hugged her and Ivan spoke up, "the blond friend of the Generals is annoying him at the moment" and laughed a little.
Alina frowned then remember, "Nikolai?" She looked at Aleksander and started to part slowly to look at him, "How did you find the Prince?"
"Alina I didn't find him he found us after the ship was attacked, he was on his way back to Ravka" Alina looked shocked at what he said and started to tear up
"We will talk about that later" he said wiping her tears, "Nikolai was ordered by what he thought was his father to come home but its the Apparat hand writing. I'm guess Nikolai is trying to get information from him now on why to return."
"Does he want to be Tsar?" Alina asked
"No he is happy being on the sea, my sun. He has no care for people who call him bastard and love his stuiped brother" Aleksander said
Alina began to giggle at that, "he was stuiped things he said" she replied remembering her boat trip
"Hopefully Nikolai gets the Apparat to spill all his secrets and we can have him arrested or removed from his position" Aleksander said
"I'd prefer arrested" Ivan spat
"He wanted to marry me off .."
"well you can't if you are married to the General" Freydor said
Aleksander frown, "but I forgot the paperwork for the marriage"
"oh" Alina looked down and started to tear up if they couldn't provide the paperwork of marriage she would be force to marry someone eles, she placed her hand on her bump.
"Alina" Freydor said, "we will find the proof of marriage of you and the General please don't worry. We will take our leave to start on that, Alina just concentrate on you and your children and get your strength back"
Alina nodded with her head down and Aleksander wrapping himself around her again, "I'm sorry my darling wife I knew I forgot something after the church ceremony. But I was to excited to finally have you in my arms"
"I know but now we could be in trouble" Alina got up angrily and walked to the windows.
Aleksander froze not knowing if this was hormonal or if she was really angry, she sighed and turned around slightly
"I'm.."
"Don't my love" Aleksander got up and walked to her with his hands in surrender, "please don't stress yourself out or the babies. My commanders will figure things out"
Alina turned further and went to hug him when Aleksander scoped her up, "Come my love I will take you back to bed to rest"
Alina smiled and kissed his cheek, "thank you for dealing with my moods"
"I love you Alina, and you can bite my head off anytime." Aleksander smiled and kissed her on the lips and walked them back in the bedroom.
Mal was walking up the corridor when he met up with Freydor and Ivan, Ivan scowled at him and Fredyor spoke, "Good Afternoon Mal where are you heading to"
"I was hoping Alina might be awake I just wanted to see if my friend was ok" Mal replied
"She is with the General She doesn't need you there," Ivan spat Fredyor smiled at Mal and place his hand on Ivan to calm him down.
"She belongs with the General I know that, the General know that I am happy with them together as I pushed her to accept his proposal and was there for the ceremony "
"Wait you were there?" Freydor asked
"Yes and the next day I went back and got all the certificates and protected them on the way home"
Freydor smiled, "So if Nikolai hadn't interrupted the Apparat you would have .."
"Told him my best friend is married to a great man and that he should be afraid" Mal smiled
"We need those documents.."
"For the next meeting they will be there but for now I think we should go and find somewhere for a drink and see if Ivan and I can settle our differences so we can best protect our new Tsarina"
Freydor began to laugh and Ivan turned and frown, "Darling" Freydor began, "you don't like new people but Mal that is a good idea come I know where we can go"
And Freydor drag Ivan and Mal followed to their rooms for drinks.
