NO ONE REALLY KNOWS WHEN IT ALL STARTED. The endless war, the eternal conflict, the immortal tug of war between the supernatural and humanity for control over the world.

Majority of humanity have long since forgotten the truth of the world. Thinking the supernatural as myths and legends, becoming selfish and worrying about themselves. Inside the ignorance, and the greed, there lies a small portion of humanity that knows the truth. The Hunters.

It's a constant battle for the right to rule the world. For the past millennium, humans barely maintained their power to rule against the vampires, mostly by strength in numbers. But as the third decade of the 21st century closes in, something is brewing in the horizon... and it may determine the fate of humanity once again.

With the vampires increasing by the hundreds every year, it's the vampire hunters that take the lead in keeping humanity safe from the supernatural, this time. With her entire being, Itadori Yūji wishes for another species to be giving humanity trouble, just so she and her younger twin brother didn't have to suffer any more than necessary.

Yūji would honestly let the vampires rule the world if it meant her and Sukuna could be free. Unfortunately, how cruel and powerful the elder vampire hunters are... Yūji can only hope. Something she doesn't believe in most of the time.

15 year old Itadori Yūji looks through the scope of her sniper rifle. A blank expression is set on her face as she ignores the rain drenching through her clothes.

The church bells ring once, telling her the time. 0100. Yūji sighs heavily as she stays completely still, waiting for her signal.

"Oi, devil's child. They've called it off," A crooked voice breaks through the pouring rain from the comm in Yūji's ear. Yūji scowls and moves her sniper rifle to the busy street below. An average looking man with a boring shade of brown hair, dull brown eyes, and average skin waves a hand at Yūji from underneath an umbrella.

"Why did they call it off?" She asks with a snarl. She laid outside, in the pouring rain, for almost six hours waiting for their target.

"Does it look like I question the elder hunters?" The man speaks up incredulously.

Yūji rolls her eyes and sits up. "You sure look like a kiss ass."

"I heard that."

"Did you? Sorry," Yūji says sarcastically, packing up her sniper rifle in a duffle bag before standing up. She slings the duffle bag over her shoulder and starts walking towards the door that goes back into the building.

"Sukuna-san's back. He's waiting at your little hovel," The man speaks before breaking off the frequency. Yūji cusses loudly at the loud ringing that accompanies the break off and rips her comm out of her ear.

"Fucker!" Yūji mutters under her breath, rubbing her left ear. She sighs heavily and runs a hand through her drenched two-toned hair before wrenching open the old door.

"Sukuna, you asshole. You better have a good reason for not telling me you were back..." Yūji thinks with a scowl as she makes her way to the first floor. "And those assholes. I haven't been on a mission in months. Motherfuckers."

Yūji takes out her phone and looks through her contacts. She harrumphs and presses the call button next to Dumbass Motherfucker, aka her younger twin brother, Sukuna. She holds the phone between her ear and her shoulder as she opens another door leading to the building stairwell.

"What?" Sukuna's gruff voice cuts through the ring. Yūji rolls her eyes and huffs in annoyance.

"Asshole, I thought you said you'd text me when you came back. Where the fuck did you go anyway?" Yūji asks in a grouchy tone. Sukuna scoffs and Yūji knows he was rolling his eyes.

"Bitch. I just got home, like two minutes ago. Fucking chill. I'll tell you when you get home. Where the fuck did the motherfuckers send you?" Sukuna retorts in tired irritation. Yūji sighs in annoyance, her footsteps echoing in the empty stairwell.

"On a mission that they just called off, the fuckers. Be home soon, if this rain fucking lets up. Leftovers in the fridge if you're hungry." Yūji frowns at the silence following her statement. "Sukuna?"

"...yeah, thanks. See you soon," Sukuna speaks eventually. Yūji stops walking and stares down at the empty stairwell, biting her cheek.

"Sukuna... You've been–with the past couple off-grid missions you've been–is everything... okay?" The silence that follows her statement makes the pink and black haired teenager worry her bottom lip.

"I'm fine, Yū... really. I'll see you when you get your lazy ass home," Sukuna says softly, or as soft as he could without sounding like the actually soft asshole he really was.

Yūji smiles and and playfully rolls her eyes. "Out of the two of us, you're the lazy ass."

"Bitch."

"Asshole."

"Cunt."

"Pussy."

"Slut."

"Manwhore."

"Bitch, I ain't a manwhore!" Sukuna exclaims loudly. Yūji barks out a laugh as she starts walking again.

"Tell that to Shibuya City, last year," Yūji teases, making Sukuna growl.

"I'm going to throw out the daifuku I got for you, fucking bitch," Sukuna retaliates, Yūji freezing at the mention of the pastry.

"You even touch it, I will slice off your dick." Yūji starts sprinting down the stairs. "Don't touch my sweets."

"Fuck you. I bought them, I can do whatever the fuck I want with them. I might just eat it all."

"Sukuna!" Yūji cusses under her breath when he hangs up with a cut off cackle. She growls and starts running faster. That daifuku was hers, the fucking bastard better not touch it.

Yūji steps out of the bathroom with a small sigh and a soft smile. Her damp hair was braided over her shoulder and she wore one of Sukuna's new hoodies she stole when he was away, a pair of old track shorts, and fuzzy socks.

"Sukuna you asshole, you better have room for me." Yūji barges into Sukuna's room without knocking, making Sukuna jump. He fumbles with his gun, but doesn't drop it.

"Bitch, you almost made me lose a fucking toe. I told you to fucking knock," Sukuna growls out as he continues to polish his gun. Yūji snorts and kicks the door close before walking over to his bed.

"Please. You don't do shit that needs to stay hidden from me and we have the tie rule if you bring people over–and if you want me time with the porn sites," Yūji retorts, making Sukuna flush and glare at his twin.

"Fuck off." Sukuna doesn't push away Yūji as she crawls into his bed and lays down in his lap. Her upper body rests comfortably on his lap while she wraps her arms around his waist.

"How you fucking lay like this comfortably is beyond me," Sukuna states, looking down at Yūji with a raised eyebrow. He goes back to polishing his gun, Yūji rolling her eyes at the statement.

"You're my pillow. Of course it's gonna be comfortable, asshole," Yūji snarks tiredly, resting her head against her arm. It really wasn't, but Yūji missed her brother.

Sukuna sighs before putting his weapon back in its case. "What's wrong?"

Yūji sighs heavily and snuggles her face into Sukuna's stomach. She makes a small noise when the pink haired teenager gently scratches her scalp, careful of his sharp nails.

"...sperm donor did another experiment on me last week... wanted to see if slicing out a nerve would still heal." Yūji tightens her hug. "It does."

Sukuna growls loudly at the information, shoulders tensing. Yūji hums softly and raises her head to look up at her brother.

"'m fine now. Just getting used to a brand new nerve," Yūji reassures softly, making Sukuna scowl.

"I'm sorry I was gone longer than usual," He says quietly, sincerely. Yūji rolls her eyes before giving him a tired smile.

"Asshole, you're always gone longer than usual," Yūji goes back to her original position as she yawns, "but as long as you come home alive, I don't mind."

Sukuna huffs in amusement and falls back. Yūji makes a small noise of protest when her younger twin easily moves her to lay on top of him.

"I've met someone–a historian... of sorts–a couple missions ago. I've revealed vague things about us, about Mama, in case he wasn't meant to be trusted," Sukuna states after a moment of silence.

Yūji, already half asleep, hums in acknowledgement. "Meet him?"

"We'll go tomorrow." Sukuna yawns and hugs Yūji closer to him. Yūji hums again before they both fall into a peaceful sleep.

They can only fall in a peaceful sleep when they're together.

The Itadori Family is a large and old established family made up of Hunters. Primarily, the strongest type: vampire hunters. With Itadori Jin, stated to be the most skilled and strongest vampire hunter in centuries, as its leader and head, the Itadori Family has practically ruled the Hunter society from behind the scenes.

Itadori Yūji and Itadori Sukuna are the next in line, and the disgraces of the Itadori Family. A title that was forced upon them for their blood.

Vampiric humans. A race of humans considered to be abominations on both sides. Humans with vampiric blood and vampiric attributes. Many even go as far as to call them Half-Breeds.

They're stronger, faster, smarter. They have heightened senses–some say their senses are greater than a full-blooded vampire. They're able to regenerate. They need to eat food like a normal human, but need at least eight ounces of blood a week to stay alive. They have paler skin, sharper nails, sharper teeth. They're eyes change to the familiar color of silver when angry or hungry for blood.

There have been reported cases of some vampiric humans unlocking abilities that are said to be only for full-blooded vampires. Their blood would be able to satiate a full-blooded for years. They can still be killed by everything that can kill a human, but they have a higher resistance. They can walk in the sun, but get sunburned easily–and can get skin cancer with the snap of someone's fingers if not careful enough.

Itadori Kaori was the last living child of a centuries old family and the mother of Yūji and Sukuna. Because of her sole ancestor, her family was cursed to be one of the first reported families of vampiric humans. Because of this, Yūji and Sukuna were vampiric humans; the disgraces of the Itadori Family.

Other than each other, their mother was the only one who truly loved them. Until the day she died when the twins were only three years old. Yūji and Sukuna were left alone to face the true wretched nature of humanity in all of it's horrific glory.

They don't care about humanity. Not anymore. Sukuna and Yūji just want to be free, that's all they ever desired. All that they ever consistently hoped for. And looking for answers about their abominable blood... well, that's the first step to finding their freedom. Even if the cost for freedom is death, they will find it. No matter how many people they kill, no matter how many horrible things they do. That's all they ever and will ever want. Freedom.

Little did anyone know, this journey, changes the tides of fate for everything and everyone. Forever.

Hey! Hope you all like the new story! I literally just thought of this 15 hours ago (as of 8/14/21).

Mostly because, there are no vampire hunter AUs which is FUCKING BULLSHIT. At least as far as I know.

I hope you all enjoy the first chapter! Bye.
