YŪJI GLANCES AROUND THE ROOM WITH AN UNSURPRISED EXPRESSION. Dead bodies were laying on tables, organs were resting in bowls, surprisingly no blood was around. She breathes in the scent of blood and clenches her jaw when her mouth starts to salivate.
"Ah yes, the Itadori Family. To think two little ones from that family are risking their lives for answers they may never find," Satoru states as he leans against one of the tables in the room. Yūji frowns slightly, continuing to inspect the room.
"What do you know of vampiric humans?" She asks again, turning around to stare into the hidden eyes of the vampire. Satoru grins, his fangs glinting in the florescent light.
"They are humans with the abilities and the superiority of a vampire. Abominations, really. Not even a vampire as old as me knows how they came to be. What I do know, is that it was a similar curse to the curse placed upon vampires," Satoru starts, his eyes staring over his sunglasses at the pink and black haired teenager. Yūji blinks at the sudden appearance of blue eyes, more beautiful and striking than sapphires that seem to constantly flicker between blue and silver.
"I'd even say some would be stronger than a full-blooded vampire. Very few, though. Is that the answer you're looking for?" Satoru smiles at the teenagers, making Yūji sigh.
"No, but thank you," Yūji says in slight disappointment.
"If a full-blooded doesn't even know where vampiric humans came from... Mama, what did you mean, that night?" Yūji bites the inside of her cheek and sighs again.
"Now, my turn!" Satoru claps his hands with a playful grin. "Why did you never tall me you had a twin?"
"Her existence wasn't something you needed to know until now," Sukuna answers with an eye roll.
"Hurtful, Sukuna," Yūji teases with a smile, making Sukuna growl.
She jumps up onto a table, ignoring the body laying on it behind her. "Did you ever know a woman named Kaori? In the past 20 years."
"Hm... Kaori, Kaori, Kay-or-ee." Satoru taps his chin in thought, still smiling. "I've known many. In the past 20 years... Only five."
Yūji frowns and leans her head back. She sighs heavily before glancing at Sukuna.
"You're not asking him any of the questions."
"And you're not telling me why you only just mentioned Gojo-san."
"Are you going to actually get some answers or not? I didn't waste my free time to watch you flirt with an ancient old man."
Yūji rolls her eyes and flips off her brother before focusing back on the vampire. She kicks her legs back and forth and waits patiently for the next question.
"Where is the Hunter Headquarters?" Satoru asks, making Sukuna choke on air. Yūji smiles brightly and opens her mouth.
"Oh! It's in–"
"Gojo-sama," A sudden voice interrupts the pink and black haired teenager, making Satoru pout and Sukuna sigh in relief. Yūji turns her head and sees a 15 year old boy with messy black hair, pretty sea green eyes, and pale skin standing at the doorway. He had no expression on his face, but Yūji could see how tense he was.
Yūji tilts her head as her Hunter Instinct activates again. Another vampire.
"Megumi-chan~! I was just about to find out where the Hunter Headquarters was!" Satoru whines loudly, slumping his shoulders. Yūji smiles cheekily as she continues to kick her legs back and forth.
"Hello! Nice to meet you! I'm Itadori Yūji, this asshole's older twin." She points towards her twin brother, making him growl.
"I didn't know Sukuna had a sister," The young looking vampire, Megumi, states while he stares at Sukuna. Sukuna rolls his eyes with a huff and jabs his thumb at Yūji.
"This bitch doesn't have any self-preservation or common fucking sense. Her existence wasn't a necessary thing for you fuckers to know about," Sukuna grunts, crossing his arms. Yūji narrows her eyes at Sukuna before huffing.
"Little brother likes to play the overprotective sibling more often than not. It's unnecessary most of the time," Yūji states, making her younger twin glare at her with a sneer.
"Naive little bitch. You still follow creepy wannabe rapists when they offer candy," Sukuna insults angrily. Yūji's pale skin flushes a pretty pink and she crosses her arms.
"He wasn't some rapist. He was a trafficker!" Yūji retorts, making Sukuna scoff loudly.
"Like that makes it any fucking better, pussy."
"It was an undercover mission, cunt." Yūji sticks her tongue out. "I didn't exactly have a fucking choice either! You won rock paper scissors!"
"Good thing I did too, 'cause you fucking cheated!"
"Where's the evidence that I cheated?"
"The obvious fucking–"
RING. RING.
Yūji sighs heavily when her phone rings loudly. She pulls it out of her skirt pocket and glances at the caller ID. Her shoulders tense at her father's name. She answers almost immediately.
"Chichi, did you need something?" Yūji asks calmly, giving Sukuna a sharp look. He stands up straighter and walks over with a hard expression.
"You are to report immediately to the Itadori Elders for your punishment of not completing your mission last night," Jin speaks up in a blank tone. Yūji sucks in a sharp breath, clenching her fist.
"The Hunter Conference called off my mission. I didn't have a choice but to leave it unfinished," Yūji defends herself immediately.
"You were meant to retrieve information as a second priority. That information is now lost." Yūji scowls and clicks her tongue in annoyance.
"When was I going to be told that I had a second priority in my mission?" Yūji takes a deep breath and pulls the phone away. "I'll be there tonight."
Yūji hangs up and gives Sukuna a tired look. Sukuna huffs in annoyance and leans against the table.
"What's sperm donor punishing you for this time?" Sukuna asks as Yūji leans against her hand.
"Supposedly, I had a second priority on my mission last night. The mission that got called off," Yūji sighs as she rubs her temples. Sukuna sighs heavily and looks up.
"He's really starting to piss me the fuck off."
"He always pisses you off." Yūji jumps off the table, purposely landing her foot on top of Sukuna's. He instinctively raises his leg, grabbing his foot in pain. Yūji curses loudly when Sukuna punches her in the back of her head.
Yūji rubs the back of her head as she focuses on an incredibly amused Satoru and a highly annoyed Megumi. "What was your question again? Where the Hunter Headquarters are? The main headquarters is in Tokyo."
Megumi and Satoru blink in surprise before Satoru cackles loudly. Sukuna facepalms with a tired sigh while Yūji stares at Satoru weirdly.
"You actually answered honestly?!" Satoru exclaims through his laughter. Yūji places a hand on her hip and raises an eyebrow.
"You have the entire Tokyo Prefecture to search. And I said the main headquarters. There's more than one. I'm also assuming you wanted to only know of the Vampire Hunter Headquarters," Yūji points out, making Sukuna snort.
Satoru stops laughing at the new fact before he pouts. Sukuna bursts out into cackles and even Megumi tries to stifle a smile.
"When did you meet Sukuna?" Yūji's question makes her younger twin shut up real quick.
"Yūji!" Sukuna hisses, tugging at her arm. She turns and gives Sukuna a hard look.
"Hm... Three months ago! He saved Megumi-chan from being killed by another vampire hunter!" Satoru answers brightly. Yūji narrows her eyes up at her twin, staying silent. They glare at each other for a long minute before Yūji sighs heavily and breaks eye contact.
"Fine. I'll accept the vague answer." Yūji points up at Sukuna with a suspicious gaze. "You better tell me the truth eventually. The full truth. I'll beat your ass if you don't."
"Like you can beat me in a fight," Sukuna snorts with a grin. Yūji raises an eyebrow and places a hand on her hip.
"Excuse me? It's 64 to 60. I'm the one winning." Yūji jabs her thumb towards herself.
Sukuna narrows his eyes and growls, "You fucking cheat."
"You don't specify the rules, so it's not cheating," The pink and black haired teenager retorts with an eye roll. Sukuna scowls and crosses his arms.
"You don't bring a fucking gun to a melee fight!"
"You never specified what type of fight it was! Of course I'm gonna bring a gun if you don't specify!" Yūji exclaims with a hand motion. Sukuna growls again and takes a step forward.
"Before you kill each other," Satoru interjects with a smile. "I still have questions to ask you."
"You still suspicious, old man?" Sukuna insults with an annoyed frown. Satoru pouts and places a hand over his heart.
"I'm not old!"
"What's your question?" Yūji asks tiredly, glaring at Sukuna.
"Gojo-sama, we were meant to meet up with Kugisaki and Otōsan at the diner," Megumi interrupts with a blank expression. Satoru blinks at the reminder, making Megumi give him an exasperated glare.
"You forgot?" Megumi frowns in dissatisfaction as Satoru chuckles sheepishly while scratching the back of his head.
"...Sukuna-chan said it was important!" Satoru lamely defends himself. Megumi sighs heavily, still staring at the white haired vampire in disappointment.
Satoru perks up and points at the twins. "Have them come with us! I doubt they'll say anything!"
Yūji blinks before glancing at Sukuna. He just shrugs, making his older twin frown.
"Do they have milkshakes?" Yūji asks as she pulls out the dum dum stick from her mouth. She flicks it towards a trashcan a few feet away before grabbing another blue raspberry dum dum from her pocket.
"Yep! I'll take Yūji-chan!" Satoru exclaims, suddenly standing next to Yūji. He links his arm with Yūji, making her tense in surprise.
"Wait! She doesn't–"
"See you!" Yūji feels the air in her lungs get punched out as she's suddenly pulled somewhere. A pounding migraine appears at the sudden inertia.
Yūji stumbles to the side with a wheeze, collapsing against a wall. She takes a deep breath and clenches her eyes shut as the world suddenly forces itself to the forefront of her senses.
She could feel her skirt brush against her legs through the stockings. She felt the warm air cause a around her neck. The aches from the experiment ran through her limbs. Her palm scrapes against the brick wall she tries to ground herself with. She feels the blood start to well up.
The silver, holy water soaked, chain of her crucifix continuously burns her skin. The taste of blue raspberry and hours old blood overpowers her taste buds.
"Welcome to the–"
The smells of vendor food invaded her nose. She smelt fresh blood from somewhere else. She could smell the disgusting alcohol from a bar close by. The smell of days old vomit soon breezes past.
"Aimi-chan!"
"Oh, excuse me! I wasn't–"
The heartbeats of hundreds of people walking past the alley throbs in her ears. She hears the lungs of humans work by those walking right by. She hears the faint echoes of laughter, cruel laughter and innocent laughter. She hears forced moans and wretched sobs somewhere far away.
"Thief! Get back–"
Her skin burns under the oppressing heat. She feels a ray of light touch her fingertips, making her hiss. She sees bright lights and bright colors flashing before her eyes. The faint sight of veins, invisible to a human's eye, causes her eyes to throb.
"Mama, look! Pretty butter–"
"I'm on my way ho–"
Yūji flinches back when someone grabs each side of her face. She tries to lean back, still harshly grabbing the brick wall to ground herself.
"Yūji." Yūji blinks rapidly at the serious call of her name. She suddenly sees herself staring into a beautiful sky blue that seems to capture the silver light of the moon. A surprised, silent breath leaves her as the hands on her face grip it securely.
"Yūji, take a deep breath," Satoru orders softly, his eyes flashing to a glowing moonlight silver. The pink and black haired teenager takes a deep breath at the vampiric command.
"Release it." Yūji follows the command and feels her senses slowly relax. She repeats the process, still staring into the beautiful eyes of a full-blooded, and ancient, vampire.
Yūji blinks again and gently pulls back her head with another deep breath. "Thank you. You didn't have to do that."
Satoru stares into her eyes with a focused look, mouth set in a small frown, before he smiles brightly. He releases his hold on her face and leans back on his feet.
"I kinda did! I didn't realize you'd be affected that way with my teleporting! Sorry." Satoru stands up, still shrouded by the shadows. "You have strong senses for a human."
"I did say I was a vampiric human. A strong one." Yūji smiles back as she quickly regains her control over her senses. Satoru tilts his head with an intrigued expression before holding out his hand. Yūji stares at it for a moment of shock before glancing up at the vampire's eyes.
She ignores her Hunter Instinct screaming at her and gently places her hand in Satoru's. Satoru smiles even bigger and helps the female up.
"...thank you, Gojo-san," She says genuinely with a slight smile. Yūji averts her gaze to her skirt as she fixes it. She holds out her parasol and opens it up.
"Where are we going from here?" Yūji asks, placing the parasol on her shoulder. Satoru hums and raises a hand towards the alley.
Yūji smiles knowingly and nods. "Lead the way, then."
"Please don't mind Tōji-kun or Nobara-chan. They'll probably try to kill you if you aren't close to me," Satoru states brightly, making Yūji smile nervously.
"Not surprising. I'll be sure to introduce myself and my intentions properly, then!" Yūji exclaims, her smile brightening.
"I expect the knowledge of my existence will stay between you and my group, Yūji-chan. If not, Tōji-kun hasn't been able to get in a good hunt in a while," Satoru says simply giving Yūji a side-glance as she walks beside him. Yūji giggles, twirling her parasol, and peeks up with glittering silver eyes.
"It will be. As long as the knowledge of mine and my little brother's search for answers stays between us and your... group." Her eyes crinkle at the edges, glowing like stars underneath the parasol. "That seems like a fair trade, no? Little brother is everything to me, and he seems to like you and your... group. I don't want to cause him pain by destroying it."
Satoru smiles sharply, his own eyes glowing like the moon. "Of course, Yūji. The diner isn't too far. Sukuna-chan and Megumi-chan are already there."
"Mm." Yūji tilts her parasol back over her eyes. An amused grin forms in her face.
"Sukuna, you absolute fucking idiot. It just had to be vampires..."
