Chapter 1 : A New World
" Do you really think you can change the rule of the ghost-human frontal , Prinsessa Ernaline ? " a woman asked the princess . This woman is the personal maid of Princess Ernaline , the princess of ghosts and the ruler of the grayish luminous land of ghosts .
She was always impressive by her extended beauty , her kind heart and her love to her people . Her grayish long hair and her snowy skin with sea blue eyes always made a difference in everyone's eyes . She always wears her silver majestic dress with granite made high heels and her crown and necklace full of diamonds . However she was known importantly for her love to discover the human world to the point that her people would think she might fall in love with a human who would destroy and rule the land to make it his own .
" Yes , Renaï . We may know humans as harmful creatures, but they end here as souls in the end , don't they ? Thus , there's no harm whatsoever to investigate and discover this mysterious world full of souls coming here because of it ." Princess Ernaline answered defending her opinion .
" Then you shall prepare , prinsessa , for your expedition to the human world . "
In the human world ,
" Last time we were all together here was when we were arguing over who is going to win the WRGP last year. " a man mentioned
" Exactly , I just couldn't believe we directly became friends afterwards. " another one replied
The group laughed at an old memory . Those were Team 5ds and Team Ragnarok . They are reunited at the same park where they were discussing stuff about the WRGP semi finals last year .
" So I heard you guys were going to try out your chances this year for the second season ." Crow asked .
" Well yeah , I mean why not ? To see us guys beat you this time in the finals , of course we will ! " Brave replied , cheerfully .
" We'll see you at the gala then tonight . " Harald continued .
The two teams waved goodbye and went on their separate ways
Back to the ghosts land ,
" They're impressive . Both teams saved Neo Domino before . They look like they're kind souls . " Princess Ernaline exclaimed as she watched both teams parting . She glanced to take a look at a certain silver haired man with golden eyes . But this one is even more different . I feel like he's going to keep my heart safe .
" After all your majesty , they hold each of them different powers . " Renaï showed her .
" The Crimson Dragon and the Rune Eyes . The most powerful entities of the land of ghosts. " the princess continued . " I decided Renaï , that I shall make company the Signers and the Rune Eye Heretics tonight and even throughout their missions and help them when needed . "
Then before , little does Renaï know that her majesty will meet the love of her life on that same night .
In the human world
At night in the gala ,
The gala was handled at an old palace full of duelists from different teams , drinks were served and seemed like everyone here came with fancy clothes , even Team 5ds. .
- " Wow this place sounds amazing ! " Leo suddenly exclaimed .
" Do you know that this place was an old palace back at the 16th Century ? " Luna replied at him .
" Yes and this palace had also its very own story ." Harald said behind them. " It's known that this place is owned by the Royal Family. Tragedy fell when one night , the king and the queen were stabbed by a servant who is faithful to their rival . Therefore , they had a child , a beautiful girl, Princess Ernaline . They say that the ghosts have come to protect her from the fate of getting killed like her parents so they turned into a soul who aged , i mean not in looks , to become a ghost . Then , they say also a century later , when the rivals to the royal family wanted to take over the castle and rule our actual Neo Domino , the princess with her powers as an aged ghost appeared at them and built The Ring of Fire , that is decorated today at the entrance of the castle . This ring was the symbol of burning the enemies of the country , which is glorified nowadays . "
The two teams were shocked at the amount of information he knows about the palace .
" Well , I read . I guess this is some kind of general culture ." the silver haired man chuckled as he replied at his friends and left to check out the castle .
On his way he hears someone singing from the hall . As curious as he always is , he followed the sound in harmony . He saw what could make his eyes drown in dreams . A beautiful gray haired young woman with the most beautiful sea blue eyes and snowy skin , which belonged to Princess Ernaline , and to whom he never knew . She wears for tonight a black glittered long silky dress with black high heels and her usual diamond necklace and was looking at the gigantic window of a room , calmly .
- " Miss ? " he wanted to talk to her so he addressed his words first .
She turned around to see him , it's the same young man she saw on her magic mirror and she admired . He was now right in front of her , sea blue eyes drowned in his golden ones . She is a very important guest nobody knew , she was the original owner of the palace .
" Yes ? Is there anything wrong ? " she answered him tenderly .
" Why are you alone here ? " the silver haired man asked her .
He cares about me , I see . She thought to herself .
" Actually, I'm okay being here . It's way calmer than downstairs. "
They soon hear the start of a slow song . From the hall , they were watching people dancing .
" May I have this dance with you here ? You don't need to go downstairs if you don't want to . " Harald suggested to her .
She blushed lightly and nodded . They both soon started to dance swinging in harmony , eyes locked to each other as they were enjoying their dance. None of the both noticed that some people were looking at the harmony they share .
Time skip the music ends ,
- " That was a great dance . What's your name young lady ? "
" Ernaline , it's really nice to meet you , Harald . "
She was about to leave when suddenly , she felt a hand grabbing hers , that's when she saw the surprised expression of the young man standing inches taller than her .
" How do you actually know my name ? " he asked her with that same surprising face .
" Well , I've heard quite a lot about you , leader of Team Ragnarok , right ? " she answered him boldly .
" Oh well , I guess this was so obvious . It's good to meet you , Ernaline . "
The two of them finally separated and the silver haired man was looking to where his friends went .
At midnight ,
The castle has emptied and there was only the Princess of ghost who was still there looking at the last guests leaving , she glanced to see her first human crush who was walking to his duel runner with his friends . It was time to transform back to her true form and to come back to her world again .
- " Renaï, I'm back ! " she said as she stepped to her throne , back in her old costume and crown .
" Your majesty . I hope your night was well . " the maid addressed to her princess .
" It was far from well , it was beautiful . I discovered that these signers and the Rune Eye heretics are worth to follow my dearest friend. "
Renaï agreed to her words and decided to follow her rules . She had no idea that her princess was actually falling in love with one of the holders of the Rune Eyes , the Rune that can let her get glimpses and visions from the future , one of the most powerful tools used in the ghost world .
