Chapter 2
He wore it loud and proud now. Everywhere he went. Suiryu made certain the world saw his pendent, not just in his photo shoots or anything. He has purposely walked about the cities, letting the necklace dangle out for all to see. As he ventured into the city, he would keep track of those who stopped and stared at him. Of course he kept the taboo on his face, however, that wasn't as effective when he wanted people to notice the necklace.
Humans aren't fools to say the least. Many put two and two together when they saw the pendent. "Wait, it's that Suiryu?" one whispered.
"It does look like him… what makes you say… wait… that necklace!"
Yet as soon as he walked by, they would forget his face, let alone the conversation they were having. But there were many who weren't looking at his face, but his chest. 'If I had boobs, it would probably draw more attention to the pendent…' Suiryu snickered to himself.
He wondered into the studio, there D'angelo and his team were waiting for him. "SUIRYU DARLING!"
He smirked to the greeting, as annoying as it was at first, Suiryu had come to appreciate the tone. "Morning D'angelo." He said. "So what's on the agenda?"
"Well, hear me out on this one. We got an offer to do a bubble tea commercial…"
"Okay, I don't mind doing a few of those… I love those drinks too."
"BUT!" D'angelo stated. "They want Ryomen Sukuna."
This, took him by surprise. "Really?" he asked in a curious tone. "They want a rockstar for the commercial?"
"Not just you, the whole band!" D'angelo then approached him oddly. "Darling, you know I have your best interests right? I have made myself your agent for modeling to ensure that your image is used properly, as well as you get paid. Would you consider allowing me to be the manager of your band too?"
He was taken aback by the idea. "You… want to manage a rock band?"
"Honestly, he can do it," chimed one of his assistance.
Suiryu paused as he peered over, he hasn't really paid attention to them before but they are always around D'angelo and at his beck and call to say the least. Yet he treats them with great respect.
"Honestly, I can do it, at the same time I was asked if I could by Inei… he is my cousin, you do know that right?"
He had no idea, but at the same time. Inei asked him to be their manager? It wasn't really connecting with Suiryu here, D'angelo is known as a fashion photographer more than anything. There also hasn't been any other model that has approached him for his manager services…
At the same time, he was oddly comfortable around him. Despite their rocky introduction, Suiryu had come to like this human. There was something about him too that made him feel at ease. "Very well then," he stated. "If you wish to be our manager, I'll allow it."
"Oh good! I already spoke with Eso, Tanso and Kechizu, I'll be managing the other band too. Death Paintings in the Park… but I suggested they just go with the Death Paintings." He explained.
'Shit, he works fast' Suiryu thought.
But then he caught something, the same look others have given him over the pendent. D'angelo was now eyeing it. 'Is he one of them?' Suiryu thought. D'angelo approached him but took the pendent and tucked it back into Suiryu's shirt.
"Why are you showing that off? I thought that's your model signature look!" he protested.
"Oh… right," he paused though. D'angelo was making sure no one saw it… was it for his image or does he know what this pendent really represent? "Say, D'angelo… you like my necklace right?" he asked offhandedly.
"Of course, it's gorgeous! That platinum on it makes it sparkle!"
"Wanna try it on?"
There came a look of fear in D'angelo's eyes. His body stiffen as did that of his staff as they stopped and stared on. "What? NO! Parish the thought!"
This, had him curious. "Sorry, I thought you wanted to try it on or something."
He forced a laugh. "Oh Suiryu. Darling, I don't mess with another's look. Nor do I try and make it my own. That there… that is YOUR look, no one else's… don't let ANYONE take that from you."
Curiouser still.
Suiryu smiled warmly and nodded in understanding. "I won't, I promise. Besides, this was given to me by a very dear friend who is no longer with us…" he said offhandedly as his hand went on to the pendent. He felt the cold metal against his chest, as of late he has been thinking a lot about Yua and why she gave him something so precious to him.
"Well, anyway darling, let me explain this bubble tea commercial they want us to do, also, there's a little secret hidden in the contract that I think you could EASILY take advantage of… not to mention line your pockets…"
Suiryu went over the contract, but smirked to the clause that D'angelo pointed out. "Well, this looks like fun…" he said with a devious grin. "Let me call the guys and let's make an arrangement to do this in a day or so."
Suiryu made the call, the brothers were all on board for it. When he got their approval, he informed D'angelo that they will agree to do the commercials, but he wanted one more look over of that contract.
He read it all, top to bottom once more, but that last clause kept picking away at his mind a little.
He could definitely take advantage of that clause "Interesting… it says here anyone who I make spit out their drink, I get an extra million yen? Why did they put that in there?"
D'angelo shrugged. "This company is known for stuff like this, I have read over other contracts, that's always in the bottom line, but there's an extra in there too. The rate is set, they will pay upfront but nothing more, no royalties or anything after."
The payout wasn't that great, however this clause has Suiryu interested as he smirked to it. "Can we make an adjustment to that?" he asked. "Keep the clause, but I want it written that if it's their script, it's one million, if I adlib it… it's two"
Suddenly, the smile spread over D'angelo's face. "I am going to warn you now, they may counter that if you don't… you pay them… this company is weird." He explained.
"Accept the condition,"
With that, the contract was made, the agreement was also changed and signed off on. Suiryu however, had one other detail he needed from D'angelo. "When we do this commercial, do a head count of EVERYONE on the set… and keep track of those who spit."
"Oh darling, no one will escape my sight when that happens, you are going for a big payday aren't you?"
His smile only grew. "Indeed I am…"

In a matter of days, they went to a set in down town Tokyo. It appeared to be like the bubble tea stores he has gone into, and there were about ten extras all around. "Easiest 20 million yen I could make…" he muttered to Eso.
He smirked back. "I cannot wait to see the looks on their faces."
Suiryu greeted the director as well as the CEOs of the company, they were smirking at him oddly. "You seem rather bold to put a clause into that contract there, young man. You that confident?"
"I would say so,"
"Just so you know, these are our top extras for our commercials, not ONCE have they fallen for the spit take." Said the other man.
"Well, it's a first time for everything."
Suiryu radiated confidence, he went over the script and found the lines were terrible. "No wonder they put that clause in, none of these are funny to say the least. They want funny, they are going to get funny,"
He did the commercials their way, not a single spit take was to be found or made. "Okay, my turn right?" He asked aloud.
The CEOs smirked and nodded.
Suiryu did his adlib line. He went to the counter, got his drink and turned to the camera. "Ryomen Sukuna here, enjoying a nice, refreshing bubble tea…" he took a sip. "Mmm, God I love these balls in my mouth."
PPPPPFFFFFF!
Ah, the sound of money.
All around him, he saw every extra had spat out their drink, there were even some tapioca bubbles coming out their noses. Even the CEOs had spat all over themselves!
"Let's see… One… two…" Suiryu began to count up. He got ten extras, the CEOs and even a cameraman who was taking a sip of water. "So that's 26 million yen you need to add to my pay cheque!" he called.
The CEOs froze. The two men stared at each other before realizing he was right. "Wait, we agreed to that clause, but it was only for the extras to spit out their drinks…"
"You never put that in the fine print," D'angelo said as he took out the contract. "And I quote. ANYONE who spits out their drink during the shoot will entitle Ryomen Sukuna to gain 2 million yen PER SPIT. You never specified that it was for extras only." He said with a devious grin. "Now, we are here to shoot three more commercials…"
"Ooo, easy money," snickered Junpei. "What else do you got, Ryomen?"
"A lot!" he replied with an evil smile. "Boys, let's make some quick cash!"

The CEOs lived to regret their modified contract.
The lines that came out of Suiryu were fast and furious. No matter what he said, it resulted in everyone spitting out their drink in laughter. One instant he is still at the table with the band, they are all having a drink when Suiryu says. "Man, this one is awesome. Wanna suck my balls?"
"Sure!" came out of Junpei as he stole a sip.
The last one that got people nearly choking was. "I could suck these balls all day"
In the end, he earned an extra 88 million yen.
The CEOs have vowed to never put a clause like that in their contracts again, especially when it comes to Suiryu. With their cheques written, Suiryu smirked to the brothers and D'angelo. "Dinner is on me tonight!"
