Tease 13: You-sensei got called in by the Principal!? (Did the shipping go too far?)
"Are you sure you don't want me to come along with you?" The art teacher wove her fingers together nervously. "Being called to the principal's office sounds serious…"
"I'm sure about this. Don't worry about it!" You gives the worrying teacher a reassuring smile.
It does sound serious but at the same time…It's not the first time I'm called into the principal's office…
You's gaze shift to the side as she thinks about how the principal called her in many a time even before Riko joined. In hindsight, the gym teacher is starting to realize that there's a chance she frequents the principal's office too much compared to a normal teacher.
"But…" Riko still could not calm down as she began pacing from left to right.
You're just too caring, Riko-chan…
You puts a hand on the art teacher's shoulder not noticing the slight jump and immediate relaxation to follow from her touch. "Riko-chan."
"Yes?" Yellow eyes wide and waiting for what You is going to say next.
She seriously has pretty eyes—Ahem hem!
"Help remove those photos?" You nudges her head at the notice board filled with photos taken of them, her cheeks involuntarily growing hot from reliving those scenes in her head just from a glance. "Artwork may be acceptable but those photos…probably not too acceptable."
Seriously though, when do they even take them?
Riko nods and reaches up to take You's hand, giving them a reassuring squeeze in her own. "Good luck. And… If you need help explaining. Call me."
Riko-chan…
You was 100% ready to take on anything or anyone that would want to bully Riko in that instance. The gym teacher gives the sweet auburn-haired teacher a confident smile. "Leave it to me, Riko-chan."
I mean… how hard could it be to explain about all this artwork?
And she leaves for the principal's office, not before grabbing something sweet into her pockets.
Outside the big, brown doors of the principal office – You worries.
The ash-brunette raises her hand to knock but lowers it again, raises her hand, lowers it.
"I wonder what this is about… I guess it was extra loud and rowdy today so…" You mumbles to herself.
Her fingers fidget with one another as her confidence begins to waver.
"Will I get scolded? Punished? Ahh, I hope I didn't make the principal upset! No one deserves to be forgiven if they do!" The gym teacher subconsciously crossed her arms and closed her eyes as she voiced her thoughts matter-of-factly.
"Ah, but I hope she isn't upset with Riko-chan too…" You's expression morphed again, eyebrows slightly furrowed and lips a small frown.
"I gotta think of what to say to defend Riko-chan in any case- Ah, but I don't even know-" You shakes her head, her short grey tresses fluttering about and she looks up at the door with newfound determination.
"I'll only find out pass this door…"
It's not like me to attempt to think too much anyways. Let's just do it!

You remembers to knock the door at the last moment, received a response to come in and she enters.
"Excuse the intrusion…" You greets as she closes the doors.
"Ah, You-chan-sensei, you're here." The Principal's voice came from behind the large office chair that wasn't facing her at the moment.
"Yeah…I'm not in trouble am I?" The gym teacher chuckles to lighten the mood.
The chair spins around and You was greeted with the kind and sweet smile she always receives from the Principal, the ash-brunette felt at least fifty percent less stressed out already. "Principal Ruby-chan."
Principal Ruby gestures to the sofa for the gym teacher to take a seat in as she made her way over too.
Ruby-chan is awfully quiet today…
"I've always liked the radiance and joy you bring to the school…" The Principal, small in stature she may be, youthful as she may be when donned in a pencil skirt and office jacket just like how Mari-sensei or Riko-sensei do – You could definitely feel the aura of a principal speaking to her.
The ash-brunette gulps and nods.
Maybe I thought too soon…
"But lately…It's getting a little…"
"A little..?" You's facial features were caught in a stiff smile as she held her breath.
"Wild?" Principal Ruby cocked her head to the side, wondering if she chose the right word.
"Wild?" You repeats and mimics the head tilt.
I guess it is kind of wild…
Principal Ruby slides an envelope across the glass coffee table and blue eyes simply stare at it.
An envelope!? What could be inside? …maybe a pay raise? Heh-
"This has been circulating around the school."
Definitely not a pay raise.
You opens the envelope to find lots of photos of her and Riko in many situations and the school's newspaper clippings inside too. With headlines like "You-sensei and Riko-sensei's Dating Life in School."
W-We're not dating!
Or "Riko-sensei is infatuated by You-sensei's charms".
Wh-What charms? And Riko-chan isn't…infatuated…aahhh…
The headlines were already making You's cheeks flow pink. "Um…I can explain?"
You was expecting Ruby to be upset about the photos and rumours and commotion this has been causing, maybe had to explain and come up with solutions to keep the peace in school.
Contrary to those expectations, Ruby beams. "I was hoping you would!"
"Eh?" You's jaw falls agape slightly before she closes it.
Ruby nods, her red hair bobbing along. "Onee-chan, I mean Dia-sensei told Mari-chan-sensei and Kanan-chan-sensei not to tell me, so…"
"Oh." You blinks.
If Dia-chan says no telling, am I allowed to?
"But I want to know!" Ruby protests; her tone an interesting mix of little sister defiance and exertion of Principal rights. "So explain to me about these… All these cute and exciting happenings! Are you two really dating!? Why didn't you tell me? I want to help-"
Eh? EH? EHHHHH?
"Wait, wait, Ruby-chan! Your face is too close and you're too excited about this!" The gym teacher leaned back so much; she would be lying on the sofa if not for her core muscles holding her up.
Ruby sheepishly straightens her back though her sparkling emerald eyes directed at the gym teacher was evidence enough for You to not try to think she was hallucinating.
"So, um…You-chan, are you dating Sakurauchi-sensei?" Ruby grins like a child about to learn about bunnies.
"N-N-No! We're not dating, Why would you even think so?" You rubs the tip of her nose to cover her reddening cheeks.
Ruby takes the envelope out of You's hand and picks a photo. "Is this real?"
All those photos are real…
"Yes-"
"That's like a prince to his princess! Or well, princess to her princess!" Ruby squealed.
"I just happen to catch her!" You reasons.
"This too~". Ruby shows You another photo.
"I'm just helping to hold materials?"
"This?" Ruby pulls up another photo, holding it excitedly and dearly.
"We are eating."
"A date." You was rather certain that Ruby had sparkles and hearts in her eyes and tone.
"No!" You shook her head desperately.
"She fed you…" Ruby was starting to feel bad that You was denying the romance this badly. Even she could feel the love and tension, why is her favourite teacher telling her otherwise?
"I-I've fed you before too?" You was blushing hard from having to see so many photos she did not know was taken of her and Riko. It made her happy and absolutely embarrassed.
"It's different." Ruby puts the photos down and had a serious face on. "Did you feel your heart race when feeding me?"
"I… no?" You blinked and took a moment to think.
Though…I guess my heart races a lot when I'm hanging with Riko-chan… I wonder why..?
Ruby smiles understandingly. "And you feel your heart race with Sakurauchi-sensei…right?"
"Well…" You turns her head to the side and made a thoughtful grumble. "I guess…"
Ruby's smile pulls higher, proud of herself for being right. "You love Sakurauchi-sensei, You-chan."
"I- Love!? WHA!? Nononononono-"
"You-chan-"
You had both hands covering her beet-red face and legs raised to her chest – a ball of in denial. "I-Is it…even possible for someone like me to love someone as beautiful as Riko-chan..?"
