B.o.y.d goes berserk
" I hope your excited to see the lab " Huey says
" Yeah this should be a real treat " April says
Huey and April are walking towards Scrooge's money vault as April keeps stealing glances at Huey as they do. Huey notices after a while, turns to look at her, and asks;
" Something wrong "
" No I was just thinking about something " April quickly responds
" What were you thinking about " Huey asks inquisitively
" Nothing important " April says casually
" Alright " Huey says unsure
" Alright April focus. Today is the day that you finally make your move on Huey. Remember be bold and be confident. Alright do or die time. Please let this end well " April thinks
The two of them enter the building where they take an elevator to Gyro Gearlooses' underwater lab. As they step out of the elevator April looks around in astonishment
" Whoa " April breathes out
" Right " Huey says enthusiastically
" Look at all of it " April says cheerfully " The beakers, the monitor; it's all so fascinating "
" Yeah if you think that's cool check this out " Huey says as she walks her over to the Gizmoduck armor
" Is that the Gizmoduck armor? " April asks
" It is " Huey answers
" Do you know Gizmoduck? " April asks inquisitively
" I do but I'm not at liberty to tell you " Huey answers
" This place has really nice ambience being underwater and all " April says as she walks over to the window to the ocean
" Yeah it has a pretty nice aesthetic " Huey agrees walking up next to her
" Yeah it puts me in the mood " April says nervously
" Mood for what " Huey asks turning to her
" For this " April as she tries to move towards his cheek before the sound of the door opening diverts their attention. They both turn around to see Gyro and Manny enter the lab.
" Okay so I'm going to have run some more tests and then we have to get around to running maintenance on B.O.Y.D. Oh hello Huey. Hi yellow girl I don't know " Gyro says as he walks by.
" My name is April " April says reluctantly
" I really don't care " Gyro responds
" Gyro remember what you and Uncle Scrooge discussed about interacting with people " Huey reminds
Gyro sighs before saying " Hi April. I'm Gyro Gearloose and I really don't care " Gyro then continues to walk away
" Okay " April says confused
" Don't mind him, he's always like that. Anyway what is it you were trying to do " Huey explains
" Um " April stammers
" Huey " A voice says. The voice turns out to belong to Boyd
" Boyd " Huey says back. The two of them high five each other before B.o.y.d turns to look at April.
" Hi there " B.o.y.d says
" Hello " April says back
" I'm B.o.y.d " He says
" I'm April " She says
" You must be a friend of Huey. Do you want to be my friend too " B.o.y.d asks
" Okay sure " April says confused
" Yah new friend. " B.o.y.d shouts as
" B.o.y.d there you are " Gyro says walking back into the main area of the lab
" Dr Gearloose; Guess what I made a new friend today " B.o.y.d says cheerfully
" Yeah whatever. Come we need to perform your monthly maintenance " Gyro says
" Okay " B.o.y.d says
" Wait maintenance? " April asks
Gyro opens up the back of B.o.y.d head to reveal wires and circuits
" As you can see B.o.y.d is a robot " Huey says
" Amazing " April says mouth a gap
" While they're doing that what were you about to do back there " Huey asks
" This " April says as she leans in before being interrupted once again this time by Fenton on the phone
" Okay Mom. Okay bye love you too " Fenton says before he hangs up " Hey Huey who's your friend "
" Hi I'm April " She says slightly despondent
" Hey Huey want to see the new project I'm working on " Fenton says excited
" Always " Huey says
" Even though we just met do you want to see my new project as well " Fenton asks
" Sure " April says
" Come on it's right over here " Fenton says gesturing for the two of them to follow him. As the two of them walk towards him, April trips on a wire causes her to fall forward into Gyro who is still working on B.o.y.d. Gyro lands on B.o.y.d
" Uh look what you made me do " Gyro says as he gets up off of B.o.y.d " You okay B.o.y.d "
B.o.y.d eyes glow red by he stands and says in a deep menacing voice;
" Combat protocols activated "
" Uh oh " Fenton squeaks
" That's not good " Gyro says flatly
" Identifying threats " B.o.y.d says
" What does he mean by identifying threats " April says worried
" Threats detected " B.o.y.d says
B.o.y.d eyes then start to pulsate with energy before a blue fires from them. Everyone scatters trying to dodge the laser. B.o.y.d shoots six more shots.
" What's happening " April shouts
" His defense protocols got activated when you push me into him " Gyro shouts back
" How do we stop it " Huey asks
" We got to get into his operating system " Gyro answers
" Easier said than done " Fenton says
" B.o.y.d; stop it's us your friends " Huey pleads as he stands in front of B.o.y.d with his arms open. B.o.y.d fires another laser at him but April drives onto pushes him to the floor
" You saved me " Huey says
" Yeah " April says as she goes to kiss his cheek again. Huey looks past her in horror before screaming: " Look out " Huey gets up with April in tow just baring dodging the oncoming laser.
" Blathering blatherskite " Fenton shouts as the GizmoDuck armor forms around him
" Your friend Fenton is GizmoDuck " April says amazed
Fenton sighs before saying: " Great now I have to add her to the list " Fenton then rockets towards B.o.y.d pushing him back before B.o.y.d rushes back at him with a punch to the chest
" Intern there is a lot of delicate equipment in here not to mention the fact that this is an underwater base and the only thing keeping the water out is the glass, so try to keep the damage to a minimum " Gyro shouts
" Try telling him that " Fenton shouts back as B.o.y.d blasts another laser at him " Okay try this on for size " Fenton then fires his finger guns at B.o.y.d that he easily dodges
" Manny initiate lockdown protocols " Gyro says
Manny then clicks a button that brings down the reinforced metal wall around the glass. B.o.y.d then fires his laser at him Fenton once again knocking him over a shelf
" Huey is there anything we can do " April asks
" Okay we can short him but we have to find an adequate electrical source " Huey answers
" Electrical source " April says before she looks through her backpack before pulling out a flash light before taking the D batteries out .
" That'll work. It's Now we need a wire of some kind " Huey says as a wire falls from the ceiling
B.o.y.d is punching Fenton who has his shields up before Huey throws the wire around B.o.y.d like a lasso
" April now " Huey shouts
" Sorry, B.o.y.d I hope this doesn't affect our newly established friendship " April shouts before touch the negative and positive ends of each battery together causing a shock that makes B.o.y.d convulse before his eyes turn black and he shuts down
" Quick Gyro " April shouts
" Right " Gyro says as he runs over and opens up the back of B.o. ' head and begins operations. He finishes and shuts B.o. ' head " There that should do it "
B.o.y.d eyes turn back on as his systems roar to life
" Hello everybody " B.o.y.d says before he turns to see part of the lab on fire, Fenton beaten up, Huey holding a wire and Gyro looking irritated before asking: " What happened in here "
Everyone is cleaning up parts of the lab and putting out various fires
" Intern remind to install a failsafe incase something like this ever happens again " Gyro says as he picks a chair and pushes it up under a desk
" Sorry again about activating your defense protocols " April says while wiping the scorch marks up.
" It's okay accidents happen " B.o.y.d says
" Yeah just don't that accident happen again " Gyro says
" Hey now that we got that insanity sorted. What is it you wanted to do earlier April " Huey asks
" Alright April it's do or die time " April thought as she leaned forward to kiss Huey cheek. As she does she slips on the wet floor.
" Aaahhhhh " April screams as she starts to fall
" Woah April here I'll cat " Huey starts but is cut off as April lips meet his lips
Huey and April both appeared to be shocked as they hold the position. Fenton covers his mouth, B.o.y.d stares in wonder, and Gyro just shakes his head. Huey and April break their embrace and stare at each other for a minute. April turns redder than a tomato
" Uh I have to go now " April says frantically before she runs towards the elevator to leave.
She presses the button repeatedly. Gyro runs towards her as the door close and shouts:
" Hey get back here and help us clean this up "
" Whoa Huey I didn't know you had a girlfriend " Fenton says putting a hand on his shoulder
" So that's what kissing looks like " B.o.y.d says amazed
" Huey " Fenton says when Huey continues to stand there and stare
" Huey " B.o.y.d says concerned
Huey then falls over having fainted. Fenton and B.o.y.d stand over him with concern.
" Huey, are you okay? Is he sick or something " B.o.y.d asks
" Yeah B.o.y.d he's sick alright " Fenton says coyly
" What's the virus and can we cure it " B.o.y.d asks
" It's called love and there's no cure for it " Fenton says
" Uh love such a feeble emotion " Gyro says
" Wait but I love a lot of things and it never makes me do things like this " B.o.y.d explains
" This is a different kind of love " Fenton explains
" What's the difference " B.o.y.d asks
" I'll explains it to you another time " Fenton says slyly
