Chapter 16
Relationships bloom part one
Webby, Lena, and Violet are chatting in Webbys' room when Dewey pokes his head in the door. The three take notice
" Hey Dewey " Webby says cheerfully
" Hey " Dewey says
" Need something " Webby asks
" Yeah I need to talk to Lena " Dewey says frantically
" What do you need to talk to me about " Lena asks curiously
" Can you come with me for a bit " Dewey asks pointing to the door
" Ahight " Lena says casually as she gets up from her sit
The two then leave the room as Violet and Webby sit looking a bit confused
" I wonder, what that was about " Webby asks Violet
" Hey " A voice says from the doorway
The two turn to find Huey at the doorway
" Oh hey Huey, what's up " Webby asks still confused
" I need to talk to Violet " Huey responds
" Okay " Violet says in her monotone voice
Webby watches as Violet walks towards Huey and the two leave the room together
" Okay " Webby says confused
" Hey Webby, can I talk to you ? " Louie says as he appears in the room
" Why do all of you boys need to talk all of a sudden " Webby asks
" Huh " Louie sounds confused
" Nothing. How can I help you ? " Webby asks
" Well it's about June " Louie says plainly
" What about her " Webby asks curiously
" Well she likes me " Louie states
" Of course " Webby says
" At first I thought she was just kidding around but she's seriously likes me " Louie explains
" Yeah " Webby says wanting him to continue
" So I'm here to ask, what do I do now " Louie asks
" What do you mean " Webby asks confused
" I'm not sure where to go from here with her. What do I do now " Louie explains
" What do you mean " Webby asks confused
" I'm not sure what to do next " Louie says
" Like, in terms of how to approach her now " Webby asks starting to understand
" Yes " Louie says
" Why " Webby asks
" Because I can't figure out angle to approach this situation from " Louie explains
" You don't need to find an angle, you just need to keep doing what you're doing " Webby says plainly
" Really? You think it's that simple " Louie asks
" This is not a scheme, a con, a plan, or a scam. This is a girl, with feelings and emotions. You don't need an angle; If she likes you then just go for it " Webby says with excitement
" Just go for it " Louie repeats back
" Yeah just talk to her " Webby adds
Louie puts his hand on his chin
" Okay. I think I'll try that. Thanks Webby " Louie says as he leaves
Huey and Violet are sitting in the hall on an ottoman bench
" So what did you want to discuss Hubert " Violet asks
" Okay so long story short, April and I went to Gyro's, things went haywire and she accidentally kissed me " Huey explains
" Okay " Violet says
" Things is I really liked it " Huey explains cuing alittle
" Umhmm " Violet vocalizes
" And I think she liked it too. I'm not sure but I kind of get the vibe from her or maybe I'm just thinking too hard about this " Huey explains
" Continue " Violet says
"Honestly I had been interested in her for awhile now but I wasn't sure how to approach her. Anyway I've tried consulting the Junior Woodchuck guide for advice on what to do but I couldn't find anything, so as a fellow Junior Woodchuck, the third smartest person I know and an actual girl, what do you think I should do ? " Huey asks
" Okay my advice to you would be not to overthink this and follow my instincts " Violet tells him
" Follow my instincts " Huey repeats confused
" Well from what you just told me, you get a vibe from her, so just talk to her and see where it goes. If you are correct in your assumptions, then you have yourself a relationship with her. If you are wrong, well lets just hope you're not or else things are going to get a little awkward " Violet explains
" Okay " Huey says unsure
" I hope this talk helped " Violet said as she got up to leave
" Wait " Huey says as he reaches for her. Violet stops in her place and turns around " What if I'm wrong? What if she doesn't like me? "
" There are a lot of what ifs in this world Huey but if we spent all our thinking about them we'd stay stagnant and if that happened we wouldn't have anything really " Violet explains
Huey stares at Violet for a moment before saying " Okay. You've given something to think about "
" If you need anymore advice just let me know " Violet says with a smile
Dewey and Lena are sitting outside by the pool
" So what did you want to talk to me about " Lena asks curious
" May kissed me a couple nights ago " Dewey tells her
" Ohohoho I was wondering when she was going to make her move " Lena says playfully.
" Yeah I'm not sure how I feel about it " Dewey says softly
" What do you mean " Lena asks confused
" I don't know. I think I like her too but the thought of getting with her, scares me " Dewey says
" Oh, I think I get it you're scared of intimacy " Lena explains
" Wow ! Are we even old enough for that " Dewey says surprised
" Not that kind of intimacy. I mean, you're scared to get close someone in a romantic way " Lena explains
" I'm not scared. It just, makes me uncomfortable " Dewey say defensively
Lena smirks teasingly before saying " What wrong Dewey? Scared of love "
" No " Dewey says a little loudly
" Yes you are " Lena says teasingly
" No I'm not " Dewey says getting a irritated
Lena then got up his face " Brave and confident Dewey is scared of a little romance "
" Alright. Fine, you're right, romance scares me " Dewey screams as Lena is taken aback. He then continues. " I mean I really like May. She's easily one of the coolest girls I've ever met but it freaks me out everytime, I think about getting into a relationship with her. I don't know why but it does "
Dewey lowers his head as he says this. Lena then puts her hand on his shoulder before saying " It's okay. A lot of people are scared of romance "
" I can go on adventures, face down monsters, fight bad guys, but I'm freaked out by intimacy. I feel so lame " Dewey bellows
" Look, we all got phobias. I used to be scared of intimacy too but thanks to Webby and you guys I learned to open myself up and now I have all kinds of relationships that will last a lifetime. So don't be afraid to put yourself out there " Lena reassures him as she pats his shoulder
" Okay. Thanks for the advice Lena " Dewey says as he holds up his fist
" Anytime " Lena says as she fist bumps him
The female trippettes arrive at the mansion as they are greeted by Uncle Scrooge.
" Gah Day lassies " Uncle Scrooge says cheerfully
" Hey Mr Scrooge " All three of them said at once
" I'll let the kids know you're here " Scrooge says as he turn to yell upstairs
" Hold on before you do that I need to get myself ready " April says a little frantic
" Huh " Scrooge utters before stopping half way through
April breaths in and out before clenching her fists
" Okay, do it " April tells Scrooge
Scrooge looks at April confused before turning around and yelling upstairs; " Kids the girls are here "
The boys appear at the top of stairs. The three simultaneously swallow before walking down to meet them. The male triplets met the female triplets at the front entrance.
" I'll leave you kids alone " Scrooge says as he leaves
June turns to Louie and asks " So what we doing today Louie "
" Well I was thinking of getting some lunch, you want to come" Louie says
" I could eat " June says
Louie and June leave out the front door. Meanwhile April and Huey are staring at each other awkwardly before Huey says: " So "
" Yeah " April responds
" Wanna go to the park with me " Huey asks nervously
" That sounds lovely " April says frantically
The two of them then leave. May then turns to Dewey and says: " Looks like it's just, you and me"
" Yeah" He says out loud before thinking to himself " Alright Dewey, you can do this " Before he has a chance to say anything May says " Hey want to go to the pier "
" Yeah " Dewey says
Louie and June are sitting in a restaurant across from each other, looking through menus
" So what you thinking about getting " Louie asks curiously
" I'm thinking of the chicken sandwich " June answers
" I'm thinking the fish and chips " Louie responds
" You know it's kind of like we're on a date " June says flirty
" That's because it is a date " Louie say back
" Ohoho I didn't know you could be so bold Llewellyn " June says teasingly as she puts her menu down
" Well I think you'll find I'm a lot of things " Louie says back as he also puts his menu
" I'm actually really glad you asked me out today. I thought I might have scared you away with that kiss I gave " June say sincerely
" No, but that did, finally confirm that, you actually did like me and weren't just messing around " Louie says back
" Why would I mess around with someone as cute as you " June cues
" Well I'm glad you feel that way, because I want to know, do you want to be my girlfriend " Louie asks
" I think you know the answer to that " June answer sentially
Louie stares at longingly as June does the same. The two are interrupted by the waiter who had been standing there watching them for awhile now
" Aw young love " The waiter coos
Huey and April are sitting in the park looking ahead while sitting on a park bench.
" Nice day we're having isn't it " Huey speaks
" Yeah " April says
" Soooo about Gyro's " Huey started
" I AM SOSOSO SORRY ABOUT THAT. I didn't mean to do that. It just happened " April shouts
" April it's okay " Huey says trying to calm her down
" It's not okay, I was trying to go in for a kiss on the cheek but ended up kissing you on the lips. I shouldn't have been trying to force a kiss on you anyway, but I just really like you, and wanted to make a move " April says as she buries her face in her hands
" But I liked it though " Huey say softly
April lifts her head from hands and exclaims " You did "
" Yeah I did " Huey answers back
" So you like me as well then " April asks, excitement starting to grow in her voice
" Yeah I do " Huey says
" Does this mean we're a couple now " April asks
" I think it does " Huey says as he blushes
April smiles and asks " Can I hold your hand " Huey then holds out his and April grabs it, before cooing.
Dewey and May are sitting on the pier. May is eating popcorn, and Dewey is drinking a slushie. He is staring at her while drinking and ends up drinking too much at once.
" Ahh brain freeze " Dewey winces grabs his head pain
" Ha it's what you get for drinking too fast " May says as she throws popcorn into her mouth.
" So May now that we're alone, can we talk about what happened " Dewey asks nervously
" You mean about how I kissed you " May asks
" Yeah " Dewey confirms
" Remember when you said I wasn't your girlfriend " May asks
" Yeah, you got kind of mad " Dewey responds
" Yeah, because I do want to be your girlfriend and it made me a little upset about how you were so quick to deny it, even though I can tell you like me too " May responds
" Well yeah because I didn't want to risk it " Dewey bemoans
" Risk what " May asks curious
" Being emotionally hurt, the relationship between us already, and if I'm being honest romance scares " Dewey answers nervously
" You're so dramatic " May says with a light laugh " Look I like you and you like me but if you don't want a relationship right now that's fine with me "
Dewey breathes deeply before saying " I think I do want a relationship with you though but is it cool if we take things slow "
May face light up as he says this " Of course we can. Is it okay with if I kiss you "
" Yes " Dewey says as a deep blush forms on his face. May then kisses Deweys cheek before resting her on his shoulders. He looks down at her with a smile on his face

Sorry I didn't update at all this past summer. Life eh. Anyway I hope you enjoyed this chapter. I'll try to have the next chapter out by mid November but I'm not making any promises. Next chapter by the way is Donald and Daisy's turn
