Before I start this is kind of my first time writing, so criticism and pointers to what might not make sense with the story, is super welcome. Encouraged even, i never tried this before and i was thinking of something to do with all of this time i have at the moment. And I thought of mixing two things together which I would jump over the moon for into a story.
Chapter 0 - Backstory
What was previously thought impossible was possible. Great strides in the advancement of experimental technologies allowed new forms of entertainment and improvement to quality of life around the globe. But for now since I don't want you to die of boredom, we'll focus on one improvement to our boring lives.
My name's Colken, currently a teenager living in the "Golden Age of Technologies" 2040's. I like to play games, just like anybody else does in our society. Other than that I'm relatively a pretty boring dude that enjoys his alone time for a long time. I'm open minded to a lot of things, I like to enjoy new experiences. and I've made a few friends during highschool which I still play and hangout with after our graduation this year. I grew up in a 'normal' home with a father who was a gaming addict in his teens during the 2010's, a younger brother who's an edgelord and is a little too interested in playing "bad guy" for everything, a older sister who's off to college for business, and a mother who's currently unavailable due to company matters overseas in some foreign country.
That's the backstory for the family and I. Let's start the story.
