Chapter 34

Suiryu came to a stop.

He paused and wondered what the hell that sensation was?

"Umph?" came out of Yuuji.

Suiryu calmed himself down. "Sorry little bro, sensed something I have never sensed before…" he said offhandedly. He couldn't explain what it was, yet it was a massive aura. Greater than anything he has ever detected before… greater than anything Sukuna had ever known before. Still, whatever it was is gone.

"And where did you run off to!?"

Suiryu turned and saw Kitsune glaring at him. "What's it to you? I sensed something massive and worried… It was eyeing Yuuji!" he protested.

Of course, she didn't believe him, Kitsune instead grabbed hold of Yuuji and began to fed him again. She appeared concerned though. "Why does he need to keep feeding?" she wondered.

"He's a damn baby!"

"I told Megumi and the others a moment ago. Baby dragons should only need to feed once a week!" she protested. "This… isn't right,"

She burped Itadori before passing him back to Suiryu. "You are not taking good care of him. Perhaps he should reconsider his guardian."

"Fuck… you…" Suiryu said slowly and to her face. "Like hell I'll let you take him from me. You're upset he didn't pick you!"

"Be that as it may, I respect young master's choice. It's YOU who is being neglectful. A baby dragon needs constant attention, you have been allowing others to fulfill YOUR obligation of being a guardian!"

"I am trying to make it look like everything is normal. Do you have any idea how hard that is right now? We got elders breathing down our backs, we got the divine eyeing Yuuji for their own gain, not to mention curse users in on this. What more do you want from me you damn fox!"

"I want you to take this seriously" she stated firmly.

"You don't think I am? He's my brother… of course I take this seriously!"

"I doubt that," Kitsune muttered. "You are merely biding time with this, not realizing the danger…"

"I am more than aware of it! Why do you think I am doing keeping a routine going!"

They bickered back and forth, to the point it upset Yuuji. Suiryu paused when he felt a little hand grab on to him and then, he reached and grabbed Kitsune's sleeve before crying aloud. "Umph! Umph… ph…"

Kitsune froze. "Look, you upset him!"

"I UPSET him?!"

"Enough of this, take better care of young master!" she scolded. "I will keeping a close eye on you."

She vanished once more. Suiryu growled lowly before mocking her to himself. "Take better care of him. It's only been ONE day since he's been like this, you think I'm not doing my job? You damn fox…" he muttered.

Peering down, he saw Yuuji had fallen asleep. "Better get you back home them. You need a nap."

"It's only been a day, and she feels you aren't doing a good enough job?"

Suiryu brought Yuuji to the brothers. He slept soundly in Choso's room, at the same time, he thought the brothers should be briefed as to what is going on. Everyone appeared to be out but Choso. As of late, he refuses to leave the house incase he is needed for Yuuji. Kitsune was being a lot more troublesome since she refuses to see that they need to make it appear everything is fine and normal on their end. At the same time, tending to Yuuji in this state is a little more troublesome than what he cares to admit. "I don't know what this damn fox wants from me. I can't be with him 24-7."

"I can,"

Suiryu glared at Choso as he sat there rather confidently to his decree. "Well aware, but at the same time Choso, I am stronger than you and I know the moment the divine find out about this. We're going to be in for some trouble. If the council and elders learn of this…"

"Which is why we have taken matters into our own hands,"

Suiryu paused. "What do you mean?"

He smiled as he turned to the door, Suiryu did as well and found 'Yuuji' walking in. He froze the moment his eyes came upon Suiryu. "Oh… have you explained it to him yet?"

"Choso… is that Junpei?"

"It is."

"How?" he demanded. "How did he become Yuuji?!"

"Oh it was easy," Junpei explained. "The transfiguration training we did, well I think it may have been engrained into me now. I've been trying to turn into Yuuji ever since I found out I could alter my form. Also I took a bit of Yuuji's blood... don't ask where I got it from. I just managed to do this yesterday to perfection. So, with that being said, how about I pretend to be Yuuji for a while?"

"Has the council said anything?" Suiryu asked.

"Nope! I've walked by them more than once, they merely glare at me before moving on, so I am safe to assume they believe I'm Itadori."

"Thank God…" Suiryu whispered. "How long can you maintain that?"

"About ten hours, that's my limit."

"Good. Junpei, please keep up at posing as Yuuji. I would appreciate it."

"How do we explain his absence?" asked Choso.

"Just say I dropped out or something, or even that I didn't think the school was a good fit for me. 'Junpei' will be training with his brothers from this moment on, and they can't keep track of all of us, right?"

"Damn, he's good." Suiryu muttered.

"That's our little brother," Choso said proudly. "As well, Suiryu, if you wish to maintain this routine you speak of, don't hesitate to bring Yuuji here to me. I will take care of little brother,"

He nodded in agreement. After all, if Yuuji is left anywhere near Satoru, who knows what kind of trouble they would get into!

Suddenly, Junpei peered out the window. "Uh… anyone know why Gojo sensei is wearing a sexy maid outfit?"

Suiryu snickered. "Kitsune's punishment for him as he put Yuuji in dresses."

"Why did he put Yuuji in dresses?!" demanded Junpei.

"Don't ask, it's Satoru, who knows what he is thinking half the time."
