Unmei Force Solitary Legends: The Creed of Fate
Sequence Epilogue: The Life Treasure of Captain Kidd
Part 1: Signs of a Treasure
"Kanemik:zo has passed, and I am left with a heavy heart." Connor began in voice over, as he was seen gathering pictures of the Templars, except for Haytham and Lucina's pictures. "Her passing has dashed any and all plans I had towards the future… I'm not sure if the spirits can hear my thoughts, or read my thoughts in this diary… but I leave this final message to Kanemik:zo… I will never have the same heart again, with you gone. The people of the Homestead will never be the same… none of us will ever be the same. You were a bright sunlight that brightened us all up whenever we were down… I cannot even properly pilot the Aquila, not as well as you could. ...I hope you are well up there, enjoying time with my mother. However… I wish you were still here, by my side… it has become lonely without you, even with all the allies I have… I'll see you when I pass to the other side, Kanemik:zo."
Connor solemnly walked outside, looking at the hatchets they buried in the pole. He knew that the war was over, that it was finished, but it didn't feel right to pull either of them out… not when Koyomi had said it was a promise to return alive, and she hadn't.
"...Perhaps a walk to the Aquila will do me well." Connor said.
"Let us come with you, son. After all, you do need some company, so it isn't too rough for you." Haytham said, as he and Lucina were by Connor's side.
Connor nodded, before they walked to the Aquila, before seeing Robert Faulkner getting into an argument with a man who had been sitting on the crates the entire time.
"I'm telling you Mister Faulkner, Cap'n Kidd's treasure is real! I know where the treasure maps are! I have the letters! I have proof that it had the ability to bring back the dead!" The man yelled, which caught the attention of not only Haytham and Lucina, but Connor as well, as Haytham briskly walked up to the man.
"Did you say 'bring back the dead' just now? Or was I hearing things?" Haytham asked.
"If there is some truth to his words, it is worth the pursuit." Connor stated, before he walked over. "You, the letters you speak of. What are they?"
"It's you…! I see, must be wanting to get her back. We all do, boy. She was the Aquila's true captain." The man stated. "These letters are Cap'n Kidd's. He hid a great treasure somewhere, and sent letters to four of his crewmen along with a strange piece of leather. If ya find the men, ya'll find the scallywag. It's that easy, 'tis."
"But I'm sure information of this degree won't come without some sort of price?" Lucina would ask.
"Much as I'd love to see her back, lass, yer right as me old right foot before it was blown off. Ya'll need to find some pretty valuable trinkets to get me to cough up these letters." The man said, which caused Faulkner to groan.
"Peace, Faulkner, because I happen to know of two sly treasure hunters who were looking for those trinkets when I was with them. Probably still did when they weren't busy." Haytham said, looking over to see Mai and Selkie playing a game of Bowls near the docks. "And there they are. Convenient. Wait here."
Haytham soon walked over to the two. "Good day, Mia, Selda."
"Haytham. I presume that you have need for us?" Mai asked back, as she tossed her bowl into the playing field.
"We are in need of the trinkets that you and Selda have collected. They are for the trade of something very important to me and my son." Haytham answered back.
"No way, Haytham. You know how hard Mia and I worked to get those trinkets? We searched high and low, in and out of caves, even taking incredibly risky jumps and leaps to get them!" Selkie retorted as she got ready to throw.
"Oh, that's a shame… you know, I just heard from that nice man over there that he would trade some valuable maps for those trinkets, and they would lead to something of incredible proportions, a great treasure." Haytham said. "A treasure rumored to bring one back to life, at that."
Selkie immediately messed up her throw at hearing Haytham say that, as her ball landed nowhere near the scoring ball, as she ran towards Haytham, who was beginning to walk away.
"Wait wait wait, run that by me again!?" Selkie yelled.
"Oh but it's only a rumor. I'm sure you'll take your precious trinkets over a mere rumor of bringing one back to life." Haytham said, before Selkie and Mai looked at one another, before procuring two satchels of a dozen trinkets each.
"Take them, take them! We'll trade getting Mizo back, if it means we have to give these away!" Selkie said, as Haytham chuckled.
"Your cooperation is appreciated." Haytham said with a smile, taking the satchels to the man. "How about these? Two dozen trinkets."
"By Blackbeard's beard! That's a lot of trinkets! Tell ya what, for all those trinkets, I'll give ya all four of these here letters! Happy huntin'! Lemme know if you find the treasure, har-har!" The man said with a smile, handing over all four letters.
"Well then, we have our headings, lads and lasses, let's set off and find this treasure then!" Faulkner said with a smirk. "Today, we bring back the spirit winds that pushed the Ghost of the North Seas forward!"
The three of them joined the Aquila's crew, as they went towards the first of the locations, which was Fort Walcott.
Part 2: Fort Walcott
Fort Walcott, 1782:
Connor, Haytham and Lucina were looking at the fort from below, being on a row-boat operated by Faulkner himself, as the Aquila was close by.
"Fort doesn't look as abandoned as it should. Odd. The Patriots must have not made it to here yet." Faulkner remarked. "Looks as occupied as it can be."
"I will need something to draw their attention, then. Once you lose sight of me, wait for ten minutes, then bombard the fort. I will slip out under cover of the shelling." Connor stated.
"I wish you good luck, son. Hopefully, your skills are as sharp as ever." Haytham stated.
Connor then climbed up the face of the cliff where the fort was, before he climbed right onto one of the fort's lookout towers, as he could see that the courtyard was filled with Redcoats patrolling the entire fort itself.
He then looked to the side, as there was a rope leading down into one of the buildings, as he used the blunt edge of his tomahawk as a makeshift zip-line hook, before he tumbled through one of the windows rolling, as he saw a guard approach, hiding until the guard left.
"Probably a gull or a rat… the only intruders we get here anyway." The guard stated, as he walked out of sight. "Send me across the ocean to play sentry some meaningless isle…"
Connor then slowly sneaked his way through the fort, as he jumped from cage after cage in the roof of the building, and clambered across the ledges, killing any guards that were too close to him to avoid, before reaching the prison area where the letter-bearer would have been, if the cell wasn't open already, with some guards in the vicinity.
"Jackanape deserved everything he got. Won't tolerate such behaviour. Let that be a lesson for the rest of you." One of the officers below stated.
"He didn't mean anything by what he said." One of the soldiers argued back, as Connor took out the closest guard with a Hidden Blade.
"You getting soft?" The officer snarled, as Connor got closer to them.
"I just don't think it's right." The solider responded back, before Connor leapt from the ledge, and killed them both before they realised he was here at all.
As soon as Connor got up, he quickly walked into the open cell, before he then moved a part of the ground aside.
"It lies under the eagle's bed." Connor recited, before he then found a small box, as he opened it, revealing a quarter of the treasure map. "The man spoke the truth… this is the first piece of the puzzle to bringing back my love."
When he walked out, he was greeted by several guards, who were ready to fight him.
"Let's see what you got, rebel." One of the guards taunted, with his bayonet at the ready, before the fort was shook by the force of cannon-shots slamming through it, as Connor took the chance to take them all down, before he then climbed back up using a dislodged wooden board.
He then made his way out of the fort, making extremely sure not to get dazed by any cannon-shots and secondary explosions, knowing that it would be dangerous, like it was back with Fort George.
Once he had plummeted into the water and escaping the fort, he soon was met by the Aquila, and Haytham pulling him on board.
"You're a bit late, son! We were getting worried there." Haytham said as Connor was pulled aboard.
"Now, for the moment of truth lad. Was there a scroll? Is there a chance this treasure truly is real?" Faulkner would ask, before Connor showed the map piece.
"That it was, Mister Faulkner." Connor declared with a hopeful smile. "And we have the keys to the rest of them."
"Aye, that we do, lad." Faulkner stated with a smirk. "Come then, on to our next map piece."
Part 3: Dead Chest's Treasure
Dead Chest Island, 1782
The group of four soon rowed towards Dead Chest Island, where Lucina was at the front of the row boat this time, deciding that she would search for the map piece on this go around.
"Ship graveyard's just around the point. Can't miss it. The men say Abel Owens was aboard one of the doomed vessels If it's true, you'll find what's left of him there." Faulkner remarked. "Also, scavengers love the graveyard, so be on your guard, and make sure they don't take that map piece with them!"
"I'll retrieve it whatever the cost, Mister Faulkner." Lucina said, as she leapt to land to begin her search.
She managed to traverse across the ship graveyard, before she found that one of the scavengers indeed had the map fragment in their hands, as they noticed Lucina on the cliff above.
"Put that down." Lucina ordered the man.
"Piss off! I found it! 'Tis mine!" He yelled and began to run.
Lucina pursued the scavenger through the wreck of the ship, as his crew tried to stop her, although they fell with a single slash from the Falchion, as the scavenger tried to take a lower path to shake Lucina off, which proved to be fatal, as Lucina clambered above, before then pulling a air-assassination, and taking the map piece from the dying scavenger.
"By the wolf's abode." Lucina recited as she got the map piece, before returning to the row boat.
"How went your search, Lucine?" Haytham would ask.
"2 pieces down, 2 to go." Lucina said, revealing her map piece.
"Well done. I suppose it's off to our next area. Where is it, Mister Faulkner?" Haytham would ask.
"By my best guess… the Northern Passage." Faulkner said.
"Does that even exist?" Connor would ask.
"Don't know, but supposedly an abandoned ship lies there, with our next map piece." Faulkner said, as preparations were made to head that way.
Part 4: The Ghost Ship
Northern Passage, 1783
"Blast and damn all this snow…!" Haytham grumbled as he, Connor, and Lucina trekked through the deep snow. "Faulkner better be right on this guess… why the Northern Passage would be located here is beyond me."
"However, our map piece is there indeed, father." Connor stated, pointing towards a ship in the distance.
"Well, at least I won't have a reason to be completely angry with Robert Faulkner then." Haytham said as the three of them soon made their way closer to the ship. "Ha, and what irony this ship is. The Octavius. Henrik Vanderhaul's first and last captaincy. Tragic more than ironic, but still."
"We best get in and out quickly of that ship wreck. It could sink into the freezing waters any minute, by the looks of things." Lucina warned.
Connor nodded, as the three of them slid down the snowy slope, before they then traversed the icy waters using the nearby ice-floes as footing to jump from, until they reached the fallen mast of the ship. They then traversed it to the deck, which lead to them to the captain's quarters, where the frozen and preserved corpse of Henrik was, holding the box with the map piece in his rigid hands.
"Henrik Vanderhaul. Captain Kidd's quarter master turned captain." Haytham remarked. "The path you sought never existed, Henrik. I hope your suffering was short, as the cold felled you."
Lucina walked over, before she gently eased the box out of Henrik's hand, before she then opened it, as the third map piece was there, when they leapt back down however, the ship began to creak and crack ominously around them, as the frozen cannons slid down the deck, and banged the ship wall, and barrels and crates smashed the wooden floor.
"Right, I think that we overstayed our welcome here." Haytham remarked. "Time to leave, before we join good Henrik in the bottom of the frigid sea."
"Only way out is up, move!" Lucina yelled as they ran.
The trio soon dodged and weaved spews of frigid water as they clambered their way up through the ship, going as fast as they possibly could, before narrowly escaping from the top, as the three of them soon surfaced away from the ship, out of the freezing cold waters.
"God above… that's cold…" Lucina shivered as she came up, as Connor procured the map from Lucina, as he and Haytham looked at it.
"And abreast the rock that doesn't fit." Haytham recited. "Three pieces down. One more to go."
"Indeed." Connor nodded. "But first, we should probably get Lucine to a place where she can thaw."
"Oh stop with your mocking of me!" Lucina growled as Haytham and Connor chuckled.
Part 5: The Mad Doctor's Castle
Jamaica, 1783
Haytham soon walked into the area he was supposed to, finding quite the wreck inside.
"Hm… no wonder the person living here went mad, this place is well disorganized." Haytham commented. "Anyways, Joseph Palmer retired to Jamaica - somewhere near this castle. Faulkner noted to me that it may have gotten to the hands of Lord Lewis Hutchison, and put in his museum."
Haytham then managed to find the museum quite quickly, although he saw no evidence that Joseph was anywhere nearby… yet clues remained. So Haytham immedaitely went on work with those clues, as he examined the nearby area as he did.
"So Palmer was here… And Hutchinson was not quite pleased with his intrusion. I wager that he's been shot once by surprise, and the second shot went stray and hid a poor vase nearby." Haytham deduced. "Still, I doubt that Hutchinson would let Palmer go with a shot as a warning. His first shots was from the balcony, but where then? I must get where the shot came first, and figure out how Hutchinson pursued Palmer through this entire building."
Haytham then climbed up to the balcony, before he then found that there was a hidden mechanism behind the mask, although said mechanism was broken, being linked to a nearby bookshelf. He then pushed the bookshelf away, as it led him into a small passage, which ended behind a painting, which had eye-holes for Hutchinson to peek out of. When Haytham pushed the painting off, he found that he was in a different area,as he investigated the area as well, finding the way forward.
"And this is where Palmer met his end." Haytham said to himself. "Hutchinson expected that he would run here, and using that little painting passage, he finished Palmer off. But that wasn't enough, no. Hutchinson dragged his corpse to a place where no-one with a sharp enough wit to connect the dots would ever find him."
Haytham then walked to one of the grandfather clock's before he then tweaked the hands into a certain position he noted from nearby clues, as it chimed, before sliding aside.
"As a mad doctor, he obviously would have used this puzzle to deter the dim-witted." Haytham stated. "Now then… I suppose that Palmer's final resting place should be around here."
Haytham descended down the hidden passage, before finding himself in a small cave, where there were multiple withered skeletons, which slightly put Haytham off, before he managed to find the map piece from one of them, likely Palmer's own skeleton.
"Close to a tree kissed by fire." Haytham stated. "So these map pieces are actually directions to the treasure. Intriguing…"
Part 6: Oak Island
Connor, Haytham and Lucina returned to the homestead, where they pieced the map together, as it gave them a route towards one of the islands.
"What do you all make of it?" Faulkner asked, as he walked over to speak with the three of them.
"They all appear to be parts of the same piece of leather." Connor answered back.
"It lies under the eagle's bed, near the wolf's abode, close to a tree kissed by fire, and abreast the rock that does not fit." Haytham recalled the phrases on each map piece.
"And a route to an island, where we might use those clues on." Lucina added.
"Hold on, that's Oak Island!" Faulkner remarked, seeing the marked island on the map. "I've sailed past it half a hundred times before I met Mizo. A forgettable isle to say the least… but that might be why it's the optimal place for Captain Kidd's treasure. We should get moving there then. We've all been waiting for the moment of truth."
"Ya actually found somethin'? Ha ha ha! Looks like th' captain is comin' back!" The man who gave them the letters remarked, walking over, overjoyed at the progress.
"We have no time to waste. We set sail for Oak Island, now!" Connor ordered, as they made their way there.
Oak Island, 1783:
"You all will have to forgive me, I'm a little on edge here." Faulkner said as the four of them set foot on Oak Island. "The mysteries of Captain Kidd's treasure have me a trifle spooked."
"Hold your fears, Mister Faulkner." Haytham said. "Let us hope that this truly is a treasure able to bring others back to life."
"Hopefully, considering what the man went through to hide it." Faulkner remarked. "Still, no danger is too great for Mizo's life."
They soon made their way to the center of the island, where there were areas worth checking out.
"Remember the writing. It lies under the eagle's bed, near the wolf's abode, close to a tree kissed by fire, and abreast the rock that doesn't fit. You think they're landmarks?" Faulkner would ask, as that struck Haytham, as well as Connor and Lucina.
"...Not landmarks… but perhaps… the symbols!" Haytham said, as he rushed to an incredibly tall tree, as Connor dashed to a tree that appeared to have been burned some, and Lucina to a wolf's den. When they reached the peak viewing points of each area, they noticed the symbols, they matched up with the landscape!
"Of course…! Mister Faulkner, could you head to that rock over there? With that last piece of leather?" Lucina would ask.
"You mean this one?" Faulkner asked as he climbed up on it. "Sure but I'm not sure it will-... Wait a minute."
"These four areas…" Haytham said.
"They surround one central area." Connor said.
"And that area…" Faulkner said, looking towards it as did the others.
"Was under our feet the whole bloody time!" Lucina yelled, running to the central point, joined by the other three soon enough, however, wolves soon ran out of the woods.
"Blast! Wolves!" Haytham said, as he managed to stab one pouncing at him with his Hidden Blade, while Connor used his tomahawk to kill one with a chop to the head, and Lucina beheaded one of them with a swift slash from her Falchion, while Faulkner used his trusty flintlock to kill any in the distance.
When they were done with the wolves, they brushed away the dead grass and leaves, revealing a thick layer of stone underneath.
"That's a bloody big piece of stone. Any ideas?" Faulkner stated.
"In this case, I think this calls for a little extra firepower." Haytham said. "Wait here while I retrieve some powder kegs from the Aquila."
Haytham soon returned with three large barrels filled with explosive powder. "There, that should do the trick." Haytham said, soon unholstering his flintlock, before looking to Connor and handing it to him. "Son, I want you to do the honors. She was your lover, after all."
Connor nodded, before he then set the barrels alight, as the explosion rocked the ground slightly, although it did leave a massive hole on the stone layer, revealing a limestone cavern underneath.
"Only room for one down there, it seems." Faulkner mused, looking down the hole with the other three.
"I'll go." Connor said.
"Be safe son. We don't know how stable this cavern is." Haytham warned.
"I'll be fine, father… this is for Mizo, after all." Connor said, as he leapt down into the limestone cavern.
Connor soon began exploring the limestone cave, as he soon reached the area where the treasure was, finding not one, but two shards of Eden, one in the form of a ring, and the other in the form of a prismatic crystal with a eerie glow to it, as Koyomi's spirit soon appeared to Connor, as Connor looked at her.
"Kanemik:zo…! I… I have found this. I have found this treasure, so that we may be reunited here in the living World." Connor said to Koyomi.
"Ratonhnhake-ton…" Koyomi's spirit remarked. "...You did this all for me... I suppose that the ancestors themselves have guided your hands and feet to here… They too understand the artefact here. The spirits… once the barrier between life and death is breached momentarily for me… they'll let me go. Kanenhti:to… Your mother… she gives her blessings to our union. Now go… The cave will begin to collapse itself, for it is these shards that have held it steady."
Connor nodded, before he then took both of the artifacts, as the cave began to collapse as stated, causing him to rush out of the cave with agility and precision, as he found the exit quickly enough, rushing into Haytham's arms.
"Son! Oh thank God… for a moment we worried the cave would collapse on you." Haytham said. "...Did you retrieve anything?"
"I did, father." Connor said, procuring both the ring and the prism.
"Captain Kidd had two treasures!?" Faulkner asked in shock, seeing the ring and the prism. "Well, legends did say Captain Kidd was invincible. Perhaps the ring grants some sort of reflective powers."
"We can test that theory another time." Haytham said, looking to Connor. "For now… it's time to bring back the dead. What do you say, Connor?"
Connor nodded with a smile, as they made their way back to the Homestead.
Final Part: Rebirth, and Lurking Dread
Davenport Homestead, 1784
Connor soon approached Koyomi's grave, with Haytham, Lucina, Raditz and the others behind him, as they were hopeful that this would work. Father Timothy, praying for this miracle from God, watched from a distance with the others of the Homestead.
"Well… no time like the present son." Haytham said as Connor looked at him and nodded, soon holding the prism over Koyomi's grave.
Light shone through the prism, as the literal barrier between life and death shattered before them, as Koyomi was soon seen walking out of the gateway in brilliant light, as she stepped foot onto the grass, as Connor stood himself to greet her, as the Shard of Eden was rendered powerless, dropping to the ground, colourless, and without glow.
"...Kanemik:zo…?" Connor asked, to make sure he wasn't dreaming.
Koyomi walked forward, before she then pinched Connor's shoulder to prove that she was there, as Connor winced, as the pain felt real, before his expression turned to unbound relief, as he embraced her, as Koyomi did the same.
"I have returned from the dead, Ratonhnhake-ton… And I will not be so careless to lose this second life that the spirits have given me." Koyomi answered back.
The two embraced for quite the amount of time, as they held their hug for incredibly long, as the scene soon showed the rising sun over the Homestead.
THE CREED OF FATE
ASSASSIN'S CREED III: COMPLETE
Modern Day…
The Animus pods for the seven immediately slid open, as they left them one by one, as Yu attended to them, with Lucina being the least affected, due to her fairly short time there.
"Easy, easy." Yu told them. "You guys have been in there for a while. You need some time for your mind to snap back to the current reality."
"...Did… Did the danger pass?" Mai asked Yu softly, clutching her head.
"...Of course. The timeline's good as stable right now. With Mizo and Connor back together, and Haytham alive, the timeline's turning for the better." Yu informed them of the good news. "I got to say, that was an interesting divergence. Originally, Haytham would have never come to a realisation, and things would have been more complicated. But hey, it's a good result, thanks to us being factors in the deviance. Hopefully, no being of time will chew our ears for messing with this history… but then again, it happened with Richard and Siege before, what's a few more by our hands, if we haven't gotten the summons from said being yet."
"Problem is we're still detecting some disturbances in the timeline." Ryinma added. "While it's stable for the moment, you all are going to have to go back in there and-"
"Alright! I'm tired of waiting for something!" Yelled a familiar voice as Ryinma sighed.
"Oh goddamnit…" Ryinma said as Hitomi barged into the room. "Hitomi! We told you time and time again! We don't know if the Animus can hold 8 machines! We need clearance from Siege, first!"
"I've been waiting for that answer for too long, now! Either you find out or I'm coming in!" Hitomi yelled.
"Look, we've been trying to get hold of Siege and Richard, and we haven't been able to make conta-" Ryinma was about to answer when Yu's communicator went off.
"Yu? Yu, do you read?" Siege would say from the other end.
"Oh, Siege, you sound concerned, something went bad on your end?" Yu asked.
"How about it went to the level 'Nosedived to hell'!" Richard suddenly exclaimed within the call. "We got shadow counterparts running amok. If you see any of them, get them done in quick and fast. We might have the bulk of them on our end, but even a few of them will cause unspeakable amounts of trouble. Right now, we're dealing with a galaxy-wide demon war."
"Well, we have our own little issue as well, Richard, not to downplay yours." Ryinma said. "In the form of a bored Brute Ratel wanting to use the Animus to fix the rest of this timeline, but we're unsure if the Animus is capable of running 8 machines at a time!"
"What's the worry?" Siege asked. "I once ran a test on those to see how many people it could occupy. Maximum I got before there were problems was 25. An 8th Animus engine will be just fine. ...And what do you mean by part of the timeline?"
"We've run through the entire storyline up to the end point. And eh… Koyomi's character and Connor got hitched up at the end here." Ryinma chuckled.
"Well I suppose it was to be expected, relationships forming and what-not. So what's the continuing problem?" Siege would ask.
"The timeline continues… and depicts events leading up to George Washington becoming a tyrant king." Ryinma explained.
"Ah, that. You might want to be careful in there." Richard answered back. "Just because this is an alternate timeline, doesn't mean that you should let your guard down. Because… well, you'll see when you find some interesting elements down there."
"And I'd say it would be an incredible boon to yourselves, if you let Hitomi in there. Hell, being Eruza along as well. They can work being two lone survivors of an Indian Village, that was razed by George Washington and the Bluecoats." Siege said.
"Will do, Siege." Ryinma said. "Thanks for putting our concerns to rest. We wish you the best of luck, and we'll keep our eyes peeled for those Shadow copies."
The call ended as Ryinma turned to Hitomi. "Go get Eruza. You two are finally gonna get the action you wanted. We'll prep two more Animus machines for your transport."
"Yeah, yeah, don't worry, we'll get her over. You just take care of everything else." Hitomi casually stated, as she walked away to get Eruza.
"You're fine, right, Koyomi?" Yu asked. "I mean, you did get the short stick of all of this. Being killed off-screen once, and then killed in POV for the second time. I doubt that it feels nice, even if death is merely simulated in that place."
"I'm… fine. I'm more worried about Connor though." Koyomi responded back. "He seems affectionate of me. Are you sure that the Animus will be able to ensure that my unawake counterpart will keep the part?"
"Girl, the unawake counterpart is a 99% accurate brain-print of you. He's likely unable to tell the difference at all." Yu chuckled. "Still, glad you show concern for that native kid. He really deserves a better life through all of this… And hopefully, you'll be able to help him through this entire set of trials as well."
Hitomi then returned with Eruza, as the both of them seemed to be prepared for the Animus dive. "We're here, you got everything ready?" Hitomi asked back. "Might as well spend some time stretching my limbs in doing some real work here. Simulators are nice, but diving into history… that's the real shit there."
"Are you sure that you will be fine-" Mai asked with concern.
"Don't you worry, Shinozaki, we don't need much Assassin expertise to get through with our roles. Besides, you forget how we fight, we'll fit in there like a hand to elastic glove." Eruza quipped.
"She's right, you know, there's a little trick in there… that'll give you some leeway with your more… super-human abilities." Yu stated. "But telling you wouldn't be enough. How about you see for yourself?"
"Alright, let's do it!" Hitomi said with a smirk, as everyone got back in and ready.
THE CREED OF FATE
TYRANNY OF GEORGE WASHINGTON
