Unmei Force Solitary Legends: The Creed of Fate
Sequence EX-Prologue: An Unlikely Uniting
"It has been years since the last mention of Templars, or even any signs of trouble in the colonies. It has given Kanemik:zo and myself plenty of time to plan out our wedding. We were unified only 5 months ago, and for my ring, I bestowed Captain Kidd's signet to Kanemik:zo. She loved it dearly, as she loves me. We've had plenty of time to settle down and relax on the Homestead. We've partaken in hunting together, since we have finally found some free moments for that. However, that all changed one day." Connor voiced over as the scene opened to the Homestead.
Davenport Homestead, 1787:
Connor and Koyomi were seen sitting together, looking at the painting they had found for Achilles and hung on the wall, enjoying the burning fire place as well, when suddenly, they heard the door open, as Myriam and Norris ran in.
"Myriam? Norris?" Connor asked as he and Koyomi rose. "Is something wrong?"
"The entrance to the Homestead…!" Norris panted, out of breath.
"Connor, there are Indians from the Cherokee tribe!" Myriam said, as Connor and Koyomi were about to spring into action, but Myriam soon finished her thought. "But they're injured. Heavily. Gun shot wounds and cuts from swords. They need medical attention!"
"...As much as they are from a rival tribe, we cannot simply turn them away if they need aid." Connor reasoned. "Mizo, fetch Dr. White while I retrieve the injured." Connor said.
Connor soon rushed to the front of the Homestead, while Koyomi ran to get Dr. White, as Connor soon found two Cherokee natives, being the counterparts of Hitomi and Eruza, as Hitomi's hair was slightly more wild and had a shade of brown to it, while Eruza's hair was dyed a darker brown, and both were dressed in proper Cherokee tribal hunter gear.
Connor, without thinking, lifted both Hitomi and Eruza up, and got them on a horse, as he rushed them to the manor as fast as he could.
Dr. White soon patched the two of them up, as they were unconscious at this point. "They'll be awake in about 2 days, they'll live these wounds… but a moment more and they would have died." He said.
"Thank you, Doctor." Connor said.
2 Days Later…
Connor and Koyomi had kept their eyes on Hitomi and Eruza, soon beginning to see them stir awake. The moment Hitomi and Eruza saw Connor and Koyomi, they both reached for their knives, only to find they had been stripped of their weapons.
"We could not risk you two attacking us before we had a chance to explain how you got here and what happened to you, so that is why you cannot find your weapons." Connor spoke.
"Fair, fair." Eruza nodded back. "Still, didn't think that we'd come face to face with another native… from another tribe, that is."
"This is stupid… How the hell did we even manage to get here?" Hitomi growled.
"We found you two injured and bruised near the entrance of our Homestead." Connor explained. "You were lucky we got you two here, or you might have died from your wounds. Before I continue, what are you two called?"
"Erazakt':in." Eruza answered.
"...Hatomaun:ka." Hitomi answered, though hesitant.
"I am Ratohnhake:ton, this is Kanemik:zo." Connor answered, which perked both Eruza and Hitomi's attention.
"Ratohnhake:ton!? Kanemik:zo!? The two natives who single-handedly wiped out hundreds, no, thousands of the blasted Redcoats!?" Eruza exclaimed. "To our tribe, you two may be Iroquois, but we, and many other tribes, consider you two the Saviors of the Native lands. This… this is incredible!"
"Ahahaha, can't believe that I'm standing before legends. Alright then, I'll trust you two." Hitomi chuckled. "If only because you two would be worthy rivals to me."
"How did you two end up in this poor of condition?" Connor would ask.
"How about you ask her? She's the more even-headed of us two." Hitomi stated, with a thumb pointing at Eruza. "All I remember is a blood-bath of Redcoats. Fainted in the middle of it, so that's my answer."
"To elaborate, some Redcoats tried to invade on tribal lands. We used tomahawk and bow to slay every single one of them, but not without some injuries of our own." Eruza responded back, before she then slapped Hitomi on the thigh. "I swear, your reckless attitude always gets you bleeding after each fight."
"Bite me! Every fight that doesn't kill me makes me stronger, that's my personal creed that I inherited from my ancestors." Hitomi boasted, before she was interrupted by a bout of pain from her wounds. "Although I'm going to take some time getting better, before I start picking these fights again."
"You shouldn't recklessly pick fights." Koyomi stated. "Trust us both, we know the consequences of diving into a battle far out of our depth, it was not a pleasant experience, to say the least. But I can tell you it involved at least a hundred Redcoats in a cramped fort…"
"Yeah, yeah, no need to convince me." Hitomi scoffed. "Still, can't just leave you when our wounds are healed, can we?"
"It would be best if you take residence with us. You'll learn many things here." Connor offered. "And the facilities here can produce everything you need to give back to your tribe with little risk or effort. Besides, if you did want to become our rivals, it would be best to learn some tricks from us."
"As much as my pride would tell me to shove that offer up a bear's ass… I'm not without some tact." Hitomi responded back, with a hand under her chin in thought. "If you're offering me a way to climb to your level, who would refuse? Not like I did anything in shaming the ancestors by taking some generosity for granted. Alright then, we'll stay. But you'll need to teach us that language those foreigners speak. Can't do much with them if I can't even have them understand a single word from me, can I?"
"Lucky for you, one of the foreigners with us does understand your language. He is even more fluent in both languages than I am. Unfortunately, he and his companion who is just as lingual as he is left a while ago and-" Connor began before hearing the door open from above.
"Mizo, son? We've returned!" Haytham called from above as he and Lucina walked in.
"A moment, if you will." Connor said as he ran up to meet with his father.
"Ah, son." Haytham said with a smile. "Where is Mizo?"
"She is down below, tending to some wounded Cherokee we found near the entrance of the Homestead." Connor said.
"Ah, so that explains the blood splatters on the ground." Haytham said. "Well, I would like to meet these two."
"Well, they are down below, but I warn you, they only speak native language." Connor said. "And they need someone who has expertise with both languages, such as you and Lucine."
"Well, I can certainly help with that. So can Lucine. Come then, let us meet these Cherokee." Haytham said, as Connor nodded, and led them downstairs, as Haytham soon looked over to them and nodded.
"Greetings, you two. My son tells me that you two wish to learn our language?" Haytham asked as he saw them.
"Huh, we were just talking about you." Eruza stated. "You're Connor's father, Haytham, right? Interesting how a foreigner like you knows our culture this well. Must be attributed to that wife of yours, bless her spirit with the ancestors."
"And you were one of the people who done work before them both, who actually attributed to their growth." Hitomi stated, before she flashed an eager grin on her lips. "Guess that means that I have another rival to beat then, considering that the old man who raised one of those legends has the appearance of a young warrior already."
"Well, I would love to spar with you, either of you, but you two seem to be in rather poor condition for that." Haytham said. "Regardless, I will help you two learn to speak our language, so you two may communicate with our friends on the Homestead. What did you two say your names were?"
"Erazakt':in." Eruza answered, before she pointed towards Hitomi. "...And this is Hatomaun:ka. We're hunters for the Cherokee tribe."
"Right, those names are going to be hard to pronounce…" Haytham said. "I will call you Erika, that's a very noble name in our language. And as for you… I'll name you Hatoka, which does properly sound like a warrior to our language."
"Eh… It'll do." Hitomi remarked at her name, as Eruza merely nodded back.
"Well, the sooner the better on getting you two acquainted with our language. Shall we get started?" Haytham would ask.
"You know what they say, the early bird gets the worm~" Eruza spoke with a teasing grin. "We're under your care, elder Haytham."
And so, for the next month or so, Haytham began to teach the two of them the English language. In return, Hitomi and Eruza shared different Cherokee hunting tips with Connor and Koyomi, as they returned the favor with Iroquois hunting tips with them.
By the time the month was up, Hitomi and Eruza were now able to speak fluent English. They decided to spend their time around a small bonfire, as they eat some skewered fish, while Connor just simply watched the girls eat.
"You know, I never thought that food would taste this good with how you prepared it." Hitomi remarked. "Those herbs and salt really add to the flavour, doesn't it? If only we learned how to treat the salt, our tribe would have satisfied stomachs until the end of time."
"Of course, there's much more than just that." Koyomi stated. "I'm not asking you to embrace foreign culture, but that doesn't mean you can't learn a few good tricks from watching them. They learned some from our culture as well."
"Heh… That's an interesting thought." Eruza chuckled, as she finished the rest of her fish.
Connor leaned back, before he then heard the sound of horse galloping, as he moved up. The girls also noticed the sound, as they tensed up, reaching for their weapons, in case it was some raiders… or worse, Redcoat deserters…
However, they soon saw that it was Raditz, as he was riding on horseback towards them, with his entire platoon.
"Riccard? What is wrong, what's going on?" Connor would ask.
"A town in the frontier is being burned to the ground as we speak! And that's not the worst part about it." Raditz said as the four of them got up, as Haytham and Lucina joined them soon enough.
"What is the other information that is the worst of it?" Connor would ask.
"The people burning the town… they're Patriots!" Selkie said.
"What!?" Koyomi and Connor exclaimed at the same time.
"We wish we could say we were bluffing." Aerith said with concern in her tone.
Connor and Koyomi immediately whistled, calling for their horses, as they came running in, as Haytham and Lucina rushed to grab theirs.
"Hatoka, Erika, are you two well enough to join us for this?" Connor would ask Hitomi and Eruza.
"Well, those Patriots did fight the Redcoats a long time ago, from what I have heard from the people…" Eruza stated. "Still, they don't seem like people to do this. Wonder what's gotten into them…"
"Eh, who cares…? Must be some rotten apples in their ranks. We take them down, simple as that." Hitomi stated, tossing her stick away. "Make room for us, you're going to need some good fighters, and I'm itching for a fight right now."
With that, they rushed for the town, to see Bluecoats doing what Raditz said they were doing: Burning the town.
"By the spirits… what has happened?" Koyomi asked with horror in her voice.
"Over there!" Connor exclaimed, pointing to a church in the distance, as it was surrounded by the Bluecoats, as fires were being started around it. He could also sense that there were many people trapped within it, to burn. "We need to rescue the people in there…"
"Right, figures that you need some distracting, if you want to save those trapped people." Hitomi remarked. "I'll go down with Erika and get them over to our side, and you people sneak up and get those people out. Ain't their place to die for some tyrant's pleasure, right?"
"Right." Connor nodded. "Let's go."
"We'll keep watch up here for any trouble." Haytham said.
"Don't worry, we'll hold our own." Eruza stated, before she and Hitomi leapt down. They waited for Connor and Koyomi to hide themselves, and take a back-route to avoid being detected, before she then let out a shrill whistle. "OI! Over here, you blue-coated morons! You want to pick on some people, how about you pick a fight with someone who can actually fight back!"
Eruza and Hitomi engaged the Bluecoats, as their fighting attracted the attention of most of the Bluecoats, save for those near the church. Koyomi and Connor moved into position, before they assassinated all of them in a chain of assassinations. As soon as the coast was clear, they lifted the wooden slab that was keeping the church doors locked in place, as panicked townsfolk rushed out of it.
"Get as far away from town as possible! Find shelter in the forest!" Connor instructed the citizens.
The citizens ran for cover, when Haytham noticed cannons firing on the town, as did Lucina.
"Son!" Haytham yelled. "Mizo! Watch out!"
This telling halted Connor and Koyomi momentarily, as this allowed them to narrowly avoid the cannon shot, although some of the townspeople were killed by the cannon shot.
"They have cannons here too…!?" Koyomi exclaimed. "This can't be right… The Patriots we know would never even imagine using such an atrocious measure…"
"Over there!" Lucina stated, as she pointed where the cannon formation was. "We need to stop them before more of the village is destroyed!"
"So these are cannons, huh…?" Eruza remarked, as she rolled her way out of one of the cannon barrages. "Huh, they really are as powerful as those people say."
"Bah, they're for cowards who can't even fight properly." Hitomi remarked with a sour tone, before she noticed the other four rushing to the cannons. "Looks like our friends have the same idea, how about we finish this off, Erika?"
Eruza nodded, before they joined the group, as they clambered up the hill from different directions, as the flanking assault left none of the cannoneers alive. However, they noticed that there were waves of Bluecoats rushing into the town.
"Damn those Bluecoats… Looks like we'll need to make use of those cannons. Good thing we have enough ammunition to handle an entire company if we have to." Haytham growled. "Lucine, help me load the cannons! Son, take Mizo and use another one of them. As for you two Cherokee girls…"
"No wa-" Hitomi was about to refuse, before Eruza jostled her shoulder.
"I know that you're all about having a up close and personal fight, but don't let your pride blind the purpose of being here. We're here to save people, not pick fights right now, Hatoka!" Eruza reminded Hitomi.
"Argh, fine. But if any of their officers come, I'm putting them to the edge of my tomahawk." Hitomi scoffed, before she then loaded one of the cannons. "Leave the muscle-work to me, Erika. You aim the cannon."
Eruza nodded, as the three pairs aimed their cannons, as they fired onto the advancing Bluecoats army, managing to take out wave after wave of them, even though some tried to shoot at them from a distance with muskets. After it was done, the remaining Bluecoats units started to turn tail.
"They are retreating, we have done it!" Connor exclaimed.
"I wouldn't be so sure, son. We both know the Patriots never retreat without reason, especially if they're under Washington." Haytham warned Connor. "We should head for Lexington, there's a better vantage point there."
With a nod from Connor, the group followed Haytham as they ran for Lexington, only to be ambushed by a small group of Bluecoats… who quickly realized, with Raditz and his platoon there, they were outnumbered.
"Ha! Amateurs!" Raditz yelled as they were quickly taken out.
"Let's continue onward, to Lexington!" Haytham said as they pressed on.
When they arrived at Lexington, they saw the town being burned and bombed, as people were literally on fire, as the group soon saw Washington mounted on horseback, with a sceptre holding the Apple of Eden in it.
"There they are! The two Cherokee savages who survived the blazing flames of their village. And tried to take the symbol and source of my power. Gaze upon it, for it will be the last thing you will ever see before you meet your sordid fate!" Washington growled from atop his horse.
"Oh… Now I remember another part of that fight earlier…" Hitomi stated, as she growled. "This bastard talked about razing our village, and that's what sent me into a blood-rage."
"Not to mention that sceptre of his is a bad omen…" Eruza remarked. "He is not a man that can be allowed to live any longer, for all he brings is death and destruction. So the elders say…"
"My God…" Haytham said as he looked at the scene. "I imagined he may have turned out a decent ruler after our last meeting but this… this is madness!"
"Commander Washington? Why are you doing this? After all we accomplished! Take hold of your senses!" Connor pleaded.
"You swore that you would keep your oath to treat our people fairly!" Koyomi responded back with betrayal. "And your heart was just then! Tell me, George Washington, what madness has consumed your mind to break that oath!?"
"Feh, delusional savages you lot are. I have never had such a firm grasp on my senses. Now bend your knee to your monarch, and make penitence in your last moments, before you are blasted to your dread reward!" Washington mocked, before he then turned to leave. "Corporal, take care of them."
"As you wish, King Washington." The corporal stated. "Bring the torch-runners! The King wishes for this village to burn to ashes for its treason, and we shall make it so!"
"Get back here, you-" Hitomi swore, as she throttled towards the fleeing Washington, before she was restrained, this time by Koyomi.
"This is NOT the time to get revenge!" Koyomi exclaimed, gesturing towards the Bluecoat troops, and the runners who were planning to light the powder kegs alight. "The town won't be safe as long as these runners breathe and run! We need to take them out. Do not worry about Washington, we'll catch him soon enough."
"Curse this damned fate…" Hitomi growled. "Fine! You Bluecoat bastards can line up for getting a tomahawk through your necks!"
The group immediately bundled up, as they fought the Bluecoats which surrounded them from all sides, as those capable of ranged attacks used their weapons to snipe out the runners with the torches, long before they could reach the powder-kegs, while the others tore the Bluecoats to bloody pieces. After a while, the entire Bluecoats force was defeated, as Eruza sliced the throat of the Corporal open with a hunting dagger. The battle was over, and the steps of what to do next could be made.

Sequence EX-01: The Infamy
Part 1: Warn the Village
"If your village was razed, Washington may be heading for ours next." Connor feared.
"We must warn the clan mother." Haytham said. "We haven't a moment to waste."
The group immediately called their horses, as Hitomi and Eruza took their ride on Connor's and Koyomi's horses respectively, as they left Lexington, riding out, before they stumbled upon an Bluecoats ambush, where they found a pair of the village's warriors who also stumbled upon it.
The group made quick work of the Bluecoats, as Koyomi and Connor walked over to the pair of Hitomi and Eruza joined them.
"We have grave news, brothers." Connor stated. "The Patriots have lost their minds, and have become ruthless. They have burned a village before ours, and intend to attack ours. We must have all prepare for the fight to come. Please, come back with us."
"We know, Oia-ner sent us to collect boughs of the Great Willow." One of the warriors, with a dyed hand-print on the lower half of his face. "She means for us to defend our people."
"The Great Willow… Wait, Clan Mother intends to make the tea…?" Koyomi exclaimed with shock. "But the tea…Kanenhti:to warned us in our youth that the tea has claimed many lives, for its cost is one's life if they do not have the will and constitution to survive its effects…"
"Have you seen what it can do? Is it dangerous?" The warrior asked back.
"I… have not. If the tea is as mythical as the Clan Mother has stated… then if we must… we will use it." Koyomi responded back with a grim tone. "Go… and I wish that you will safely return before the attack comes."
"Then we will fulfil the Clan Mother's request. We will collect the boughs. Speak to Oia:ner. If you are convinced that the tea is folly, and you can convince her so, then we will burn it." The warrior answered back.
"Before we leave… Those two behind you… They are not of our village. They bear the symbols of the Cherokee… Have they come to our aid?" The other warrior asked.
"You could say it like that. Listen, our village was turned to ashes. We have nowhere to go except to your tribe, so before you go blathering about rival tribes, I should be the one being set off by this, since my pride as a top hunter would bar me from receiving your tribe's aid." Hitomi stated with a firm tone. "But right now, the times are trying for all of us, and pride doesn't sustain life, but shorten it. We need to work together, different tribes or not. If you're so put off by us, then when this crisis passes, we go our own ways, that I swear under our ancestors. Will you swear the same?"
"...Your devotion to the cause is shocking, to say the least." The warrior with the hand-mark answered back with a respectful tone. "I doubt that you will have much difficulty in convincing the others of the plight then, and the necessity for the tribes to work together. We have done it before when the Redcoats invaded… and we have no shame in doing it again. I wish you victory... What are your names, huntresses of the Cherokee?"
"Hatomaun:ka and Erazakt':in." Hitomi responded back.
The warriors gave a respectful bow of their heads, before they left to seek the Great Willow, as the rest of the group continued to the village.
"Mizo, son. I am curious about the tea that you have mentioned." Haytham asked Connor and Koyomi. "What exactly is it?"
"It is a tradition that our village has." Connor responded back. "Tea brewed from the Great Willow's virgin boughs, and given to warriors who fight for the village's existence."
"It is rumoured to grant the strength of the greatest animals in nature…" Koyomi answered back. "But I have heard from our mother-in-law… your wife, that those who drink it lose a part of their mind in the process. She said that those who drink it will regress into the feral natures of the animals they take form of. That is why I'm unsure whether to drink it or not… There's no telling if we would come back the same if we took it. But I don't know if we'll have the choice soon enough…"
Eventually, they reached the village, as the native members of the group dismounted from their horses, approaching the circle of villagers around the bonfire, as one of them was the Clan Mother herself.
"You intend to make the tea of the Great Willow? The rumours of its consequences… Clan Mother, is this really necessary to fight Washington?" Connor would ask.
"Unfortunately, yes, Ratohnhake:ton. It is necessary we drink this tea. We must prepare it and brew it, and we must gain the strength to fight the Mad King." The Clan mother said. "The survival of our people lies in the Great Willow… a war which the two Cherokee here have begun."
"So now the blame is on us? All due respect, Clan Mother, all we were doing was trying to save our village!" Eruza growled.
"If you're gonna shove us away like this then to hell with your tea! We'll fight these blue coats with our own weapons, by our own bare hands if we have to!" Hitomi growled, before she barged at Connor, dragging him away. "Come on. We have a war to win."
When everyone had left, the Clan Mother solemnly looked at the fire. "And for that… you all will die."
"Bluecoats!" Raditz yelled, as Bluecoats began to storm the village. Everyone soon began fighting the thousands and thousands of Bluecoats rushing into the village, as the group of 11, surprisingly enough, were doing well in the fight. Then, George Washington came into view, with Benedict Arnold and Israel Putnam at his sides.
"General Putnam. General Arnold. Sometimes I despair of our project. I question my abilities and my strength. But with you two at my side, I believe we will bring liberty to this country. And we will bring it with fists of iron! Can I have assurance of your loyalty?" Washington would ask.
"You have my solemn pledge." Putnam said.
"And mine." Arnold followed.
"Thank you, honourable gentlemen. The country will remember you." Washington said.
Putnam soon drew his blade. "Give no quarter to the savages!" He yelled, before charging into battle, as Washington was face-to-face with Hitomi and Eruza.
"You!? You survived!? How astonishing." Washington said with a shocked expression.
"You… I'll see to it that my hatchet goes through your neck, and your head is severed!" Hitomi yelled.
"For our village… our people… YOU DIE TODAY, MAD KING!" Eruza yelled.
"Ha! Foolish savages! This time I will make certain of your death!" Washington yelled, preparing his scepter as the Apple of Eden began glowing brightly, as Connor and Koyomi soon killed two Bluecoats, as they soon looked to see Hitomi and Eruza charge, only to be blasted by the Apple, lethally striking them both.
"ARRRRGH! Aaah…!" Eruza groaned weakly as she collapsed to the ground, seemingly dead.
"Aaargh…" Hitomi growled, barely staying on her knees as she shot her seemingly last glare at Washington. "...Bastard." she said, before spitting at him, which shockingly hit, as he wiped her saliva off him in disgust, before Hitomi collapsed in her seeming death.
"HATOKA! ERIKA!" Connor yelled as he and Koyomi ran to their aid, soon confirming that they were dead, before they both looked up at Washington with seething anger in their eyes.
"Washington… I won't forgive you for this treachery!" Koyomi roared, as she stepped forward, with Shao Jun's katana at the ready, as Washington descended from his horse, wielding the scepter.
"You are fighting the force of liberty!" Washington declared.
"I DENY YOUR FALSE LIBERTY!" Koyomi roared, as she zipped forward, as she tried to slay Washington here and there. Although her attempt failed as soon as Washington tapped the scepter's tip on the ground, creating a massive barrier of golden energy that surrounded him, and blasted Koyomi away.
Koyomi recovered, as she growled, and used her bow to fire arrows at Washington, although Washington merely re-summoned the barrier, as it phased the arrows out of existence itself. Connor attempted a sneak attack, but he was soon blasted with the Apple.
"This power… It can't be…" Koyomi stated, before Washington pointed the scepter at her, as its tip was pointed towards her, glowing, as it fired off a beam of light that wasn't as lethal as the one that struck Eruza and Hitomi, although it sapped much of the strength from her, causing her to collapse on the ground. "Uunnhh…"
Connor tried again and again to hit Washington, to assassinate him, but he failed time and time again, ending in a similar state as he was next to Koyomi.
"With my power, I'll rule over a free world!" Washington declared, as he charged the sceptre with power, before slamming it down, creating a massive shock-wave that sent the both of them tumbling back, before Washington walked over, and slammed them onto their backs with a powerful swing of his sceptre.
As Koyomi and Connor tried to recover, they were suddenly floored by Washington's flintlock shots ripping through their body, knocking them back on the ground with no chance of recovery.
"Give those here." Washington gestured at a pair of soldiers, as he took their muskets, fitted with bayonets, before he then executed both Koyomi and Connor with the bayonet through their chest, followed by the shot of the muskets.
"Son!" Haytham yelled as he saw this happen. "...Retreat! We must retreat!" Haytham yelled, as the remaining group of seven ran back to Davenport, where they would be able to successfully keep Washington from, until Connor, Koyomi, Hitomi, and Eruza returned, but that was for later.
Connor looked one last time at Koyomi, and Koyomi at him, before they drifted off into death's embrace, or so they thought, while Koyomi's last sight was Eruza's and Hitomi's fallen bodies.
THE CREED OF FATE
THE TYRANNY OF KING WASHINGTON
Five Months Later…
Connor soon awoke to find that he was alive, shockingly. Though he was in a lot of pain, as he slowly rose to a sitting position, finding that Koyomi, Hitomi, and Eruza were stirring awake as well, much to his relief.
Koyomi was the first to rise up, as she clutched the chest, where the majority of the wounds were. "Argh… what happened?" She remarked, before she then saw Connor. "Ratonhnhake-ton… We still breathe and live…! That means that Washington wasn't careful enough with killing us... Perhaps we can make use of this…"
"I know… But how did we get here… the village…" Connor remarked, before the Clan Mother walked in, with the same two warriors that she sent to gather the Great Willow's boughs.
"So you are both awake already, and the Cherokee huntresses will soon awaken as well." The Clan Mother told them both.
"Where are we?" Connor would ask the Clan Mother.
"A safe place, by the grace of your brothers." The Clan Mother responded back, referring to her warriors.
"The village… It has been lost, hasn't it, Clan Mother…?" Koyomi answered back with a solemn tone.
"These Cherokee huntresses were the cause of it… and yet, I couldn't simply let them die, for they would have been great allies in what was to come." The Clan Mother answered back. "There was still life in them, so we tended to them. They were merely ill with a deep sleep. You two were far worse in the state you were in."
Koyomi looked down, as the Clan Mother noticed the change. "You seem distressed, Kanemik:zo. What ails your spirit so?" She asked Koyomi.
"Washington… He was a man of pride and honour. Even though he was not without flaws, he was a honest man, far more better than what the Redcoats have been." Koyomi admitted. "To see him in this corrupted state… it tears my heart, especially when my last memory of him was a heartfelt apology for what had happened in the past."
"And now that King Washington wields the sceptre, no one can stop him. We would have survived, by staying out his way. But the Cherokee huntresses provoked him too far, and now our kin are dead, and the people of the Frontier are murdered and imprisoned." The Clan Mother continued.
"...How would we survive, Clan Mother?" Connor asked back.
"By the strength granted by the Great Willow. A strength you now must find, all of you." The Clan Mother answered back.
"...I should have known it would have come to this…" Koyomi responded back. "Clan Mother… At this point, we have seen what Washington is now capable of. Even if we turn to beasts, we must use their power to counter the mythical might that the sceptre has given him. We will use the gift of the Great Willow wisely, and come back as your tribes-people, not feral beasts."
"I wish you well on your journey… Ratonhnhake-ton and Kanemik:zo." The Clan Mother nodded, before Hitomi and Eruza finally awoken. "And it seems that your companions have awoken just now."
"Argh… So this is what that damned bastard was packing with that sceptre of his… Hurts enough already… When I get my hands on him, I'm going to make him feel the same pain tenfold…" Hitomi groaned, clutching her head with one hand, still dazed from just waking up.
"We are alive… and that should be enough already, Hatomaun:ka." Eruza remarked, before turning to the others. "Oh, I suppose that you have been talking about a few things while we napped under the covers… Could you fill us in?"
So Koyomi and Connor did so in a summary, before Hitomi and Eruza turned to each other, and then back to Koyomi, Connor and the Clan Mother.
"You know, Clan Mother of the other tribe… You have a fair point." Hitomi answered back. "This power is not of natural birth… I assume that it takes a animal to beat whatever he's using… I'm already in touch with my inner animal, so your tea is not going to do much to muddle my head up."
"I agree. We have been trained to hunt like predators of nature." Eruza added. "It should not be hard for us to prepare for the process to come."
"Then gather your strength, and follow. This mad King George must be slain." The Clan Mother stated, as the four slowly got up, escorted by the two warriors.
The Clan Mother took them to a snowy region, as there was a large mountain, with a large willow tree on its summit.
"You are all ready. The Great Willow is at the top of the mountain." The Clan Mother told them.
"Yes, I will return with the boughs and perhaps some fresh meat to cook." Connor responded back.
"Never mind the meat. Just bring back the branches, boil them in water, and drink the tea. Only then will you be ready to return and fight back with your brothers." The Clan Mother sternly responded back.
"Drink her strength… Become like us." One of the warriors stated.
"Leave no tracks leading here upon your return. Go." The Clan Mother told the four of them.
"We will meet you at the Red Willow Tree, Clan Mother." Koyomi responded back, as they departed for the Great Willow.
"Pft… killjoy, what's wrong with some good meat with whatever tea they brew?" Hitomi scoffed, when they were out of earshot of the Clan Mother.
"Beats me… But it's better to take the tea with no sides, I think." Eruza stated. "Maybe that's her point?"
Part 2: Sky World Journey
They slowly traversed the mountain, before they reached the summit, where they found one of the warriors waiting for them.
"You are all on your own now, from here." The warrior told them.
"How dangerous is this, brother?" Koyomi asked back.
"Each journey to the Sky World is unlike any other. For some, it is very dangerous. You will find your answers are at the very top of the willow." The warrior responded back.
The group then took turns climbing the Great Willow, as they took a bough from the top of the willow tree each, before all four of them had one of them in their hands, as they put them into a small clay plate for them to boil the boughs in with water, as the tea was created quite quickly, without any complications.
"I am sorry, Mother… I must attain this power to see through Washington's insanity. It's the only way." Connor made a prayer to his deceased mother, before drinking the tea.
"Ah screw it with the sappy stuff. Bottoms up!" Hitomi remarked, before she downed her tea in a single gulp, as Eruza followed suit.
Koyomi looked down at the surface of the tea on her cup. "Spirits of those lost in the fires… and Kanenhti:to… Watch over us, and guide us to complete this journey safely, without our minds lost…" She said to herself, before drinking it.
The four of them were suddenly wracked with nausea, as they threw up a part of their stomach's contents, before they then fell back onto the rocks they were leaning against, as their very minds wandered from the mortal realm for a moment…
They soon appeared in the white space that looked like the Animus, as Connor was without his shirt, as were the rest, but they had leather straps covering their chests. They soon saw wolves materialise beside them, as the wolves looked to them, acknowledging them as part of the pack, before they began to walk forward, looking back to the four to beckon them to follow.
"Well, last one to find the prey gets the worst parts!" Hitomi stated, as she ran after the pack chuckling to herself.
"Hey, wait up, Hatomaun:ka!" Eruza exclaimed, as she ran after Hitomi as well.
Koyomi and Connor nodded, as they followed quickly as well, not losing sight of either the ethereal wolves or Hitomi, as they traversed the realm around them, which was forming and disappearing as they moved through it, avoiding fallen trees and tall rocks as they followed.
They then reached an open space, as they could hear the sound of a faint elk heart-beat. They spread out, to slowly inch closer to it, as Connor managed to find it first, although the moment he locked eyes with it, it disappeared into the misty nothingness ahead of them, although the ethereal wolves still followed it, guiding them towards it again.
"Damnit… Elks shouldn't be able to even sense us like this… This is some mischievous spirit's doing, isn't it?" Hitomi growled.
"It is part of the challenge. This elk happens to be a very experienced elk. They can sense even the slightest of movement." Connor said.
"So this is the king of elks then… Heh, what a nice catch this would be, if it was ever real…" Eruza joked.
The group continued to seek the elk, as it fled each time one of them tried to approach it, before they reached another open field, as the wolves stopped where they were, slowly turning to the group.
"Wait, are they about to-" Koyomi stated, before they lunged into the group, causing them to glow white momentarily, as the force of the power integrating with them, knocked them back and dazed them slightly.
"Huh… this is weird… I feel like I could easily disappear if I needed to…" Eruza remarked, before she flexed the new power in her, as her body turned completely transparent. The other three looked around for her, before Hitomi felt something grope her breast, as she yelped and turned around, as she was face to face with a smug Eruza. "Ah… this is an interesting power. Footsteps as light as the wind, and my body is completely blind to the eye of man…"
"I'll get you back for this, I swear that, Erazakt'in…!" Hitomi growled at Eruza, with a blush on her cheeks.
"Well, I never seen huntresses this close to each other. Is this a Cherokee tradition?" Connor remarked at the entire scene.
"Not really. But let's not talk about that now. We should use this power to corner that elk… Surely these powers are meant to finally corner it." Koyomi responded back, as she walked to both of the huntresses, tapping their shoulders, and getting their attention.
They immediately used the new power, as they surrounded the unaware elk from four different angles, before they slammed their weapons down on it, hacking it to pieces quickly.
Several ethereal wolves approached the mutilated elk, as one of them turned back to the group with a respectful look in its eye, and a gentle huff of respect.
"Yeah, you better respect us. That's our kill you're mooching off, pups." Hitomi stated with pride, as the world faded to white around them. "What the… is this the end of our little journey!?"
They soon woke up, all prone on the ground, as they found that the elk they were mutilating was right there, in the same state they left it.
"Huh, gotta give it to those dreams… They really do weird things tied to the real world. Perhaps we did all the things we did in that realm, and also did the same thing in the real world too?" Eruza deduced.
They were suddenly interrupted by the sounds of muskets being loaded, as they saw that there was an entire circle of Bluecoats surrounding them, with no gap to be seen, and all of them pointing their guns at the four of them.
"Well… fuck… Wager that we should hope we still have that sneaky move of ours right here?" Hitomi responded back.
Koyomi's only response was to use the power herself, as the Bluecoats were startled enough to hesitate, giving Connor the time to cloak as well, as they snuck behind some of the Bluecoats, and executed them, spooking the entire group. Hitomi and Eruza joined the fun, as they turned invisible with the power, as the Bluecoats perished in confusion and panic, as they were killed by invisible forces.
When they were all dealt with, Koyomi and Connor came out, panting heavily, as if they were deprived of air, with Hitomi and Eruza coming out soon after, in a less fatigued state.
"It seems that this power is not without drawbacks… Of course we have to halt our breathing for us to cloak like the wolves…" Koyomi responded back. "I suspect that only those with the greatest of lungs would make tremendous use of this technique… But it is good enough for us to use against the Bluecoats…"
"Speaking of those Bluecoats… THEY TOOK MY FUCKING TOMAHAWK!" Hitomi snapped. "When I find it, it's getting fed the blood that it thirsted for a long time out of my grasp. Until then, I'll settle with snapping their scrawny necks with my bare hands, or twisting their arms off."
The four immediately went towards the direction of the nearest Bluecoats camp, as they efficiently used the power of the wolf's cloak to eradicate the majority of men stationed there, before they found their gear stashed in a small trunk under a tent.
"Finally… Bluecoats are going to die tonight, and every day from now!" Hitomi declared with a bloodthirsty grin on her face.
"I'm starting to worry if Hatomaun:ka is still sound of mind after what we just went through. She already seems like a beast already." Connor remarked with concern.
"Well, you did hear what she said already about being in touch with her inner animal. Don't worry though, she's still reasonable, although she will be doing a lot of mutilating in the near future, as will I, on a lesser degree." Eruza stated.
Connor's only response was a dragged out sigh, as they looked for the Clan Mother's warriors.
Part 3: Four-Man Wolf Pack
They soon found one of the warriors sitting by a bonfire, as he was sharpening his tomahawk, before he then noticed the group.
"Ratonhnhake-ton, Kanemik:zo, Erazakt'in and Hatomaun:ka… You all have returned. I am happy to see that none of you are looking ill." The warrior greeted them.
"Hello, brother." Koyomi answered back, as the warrior stood up.
"Have you seen my brother?" The warrior asked the group.
"Only before we went on our Sky World Journey. It indeed gave us powers." Hitomi responded back. "But if I were to hazard a guess… He must be in trouble. We should go and look around for him."
"Then let me explain. We were tracking Bluecoats and lost sight of each other. I am worried that he is captured." The warrior responded back. "So you are right about him being in danger… Perhaps you can join me in the search for my brother. Any secrets you all have learned from the journey may be very useful."
"Trust us… They are VERY useful." Eruza assured the warrior with a hand on his shoulder. "Your brother will live, and we will see to that."
The warrior then guided them to a small area, before he stopped. "Last I saw my brother, he was right around here." The warrior told them.
Connor started looking around for clues, as he found the bloodied corpse of a village elder, as he felt on it, finding that the body had some warmth on it, indicating that his death happened two hours before at most.
"During your Sky Journey, tell me, all of you, what animals called to you?" The warrior asked them.
"The wolf… A cunning and vicious predator indeed. They left us with the gift to hide where none could even imagine to hide in, but I feel that there's also a small gift they added on top of that." Hitomi responded back.
"Fortunate, you all are indeed." The warrior answered back, before Hitomi noticed a recently smoking camp-fire, while Eruza found a broken bow, which the warrior identified to be his brother's own.
Hitomi then found a slave cart in the distance, as there were the tell-tale marks of tampering on it, and Bluecoat bodies around it.
"Everyone, come here. I think I might have a clue where they might have taken our friend to." Hitomi told the group, gesturing at the slave cart. "He must have tried to free the one inside, only to be captured. The tracks that were left lead to the top of the hill, he must be there."
"How do you propose we approach this?" Connor would ask.
"We need to take a closer look, before we can plan out our approach. Let us move." Koyomi suggested.
The group immediately scurried up the hill, as Koyomi silently assassinated a pair of patrolling Bluecoats with a single arrow from her bow, through their heads, before they reached the top of the hill, where they found a native being harassed by a group of Bluecoats near a wooden cage.
"This isn't right… Could you call upon your Spirit Animal? I feel we will need help for this." The warrior remarked, seeing the scene.
"Let me try…" Hitomi remarked, as she let out a shrill whistle from her lips, which was barely audible to the group, not at all for the unsuspecting Bluecoats, as it summoned a pack of wolves, which mutilated all but one of the Bluecoats to death, as the native woman fled. "Woah… Now that's an interesting trick. Summoning a pack of wolves to do our work… Huh…"
Before the Bluecoat could run away, Koyomi rushed up to him, cloaked, before pressing the point of her katana against her back. "Don't move, or I'll skewer you through." She threatened the Bluecoat.
"What d'ya want? I didn't do nothin' wrong. Wasn't hurtin' nobody, just huntin' deer! Them other fellers' who you want." The Bluecoat said.
"What others?" Koyomi asked with narrowed eyes.
"Buncha soldiers. I know 'em. Nasty fellers. They was roundin' up injuns over yonder." The Bluecoat responded back.
"Did one of them have a hand-print tattoo on his face?" Eruza asked, walking towards the Bluecoat.
"You mean like a big tattoo across his chin? Yeah, I seen that feller with 'em. Hard to miss." The Bluecoat answered back.
"Take us to this camp." Hitomi stated, before she then gestured for her tomahawk. "Or you can consider yourself dead."
"Uh, sure, sure. Whatever you gentlemen and ladies want." The Bluecoat stated with a shifty tone, before he then walked away, before then doing a runner.
"Shame… Should have thought better to run." Eruza remarked, before she then did the wolf whistle herself, as the pack of wolves that was summoned ripped the runner to pieces. "May your foolishness bind you to suffer roaming this land."
They noticed that the wolves weren't dispelled just yet, as they attacked a nearby Bluecoats patrol that was walking in the direction of the group, as it did a good job of surprising them, as the group rushed forward, and made short work of them with the help of the wolves.
"Good little pups." Hitomi smirked, as she head-patted one of the ethereal wolves, who was fairly excited by the warm gesture, before it then faded away.
"Come, we must find our brother." Connor reminded Hitomi, as they continued onward to find him, as they soon found a firing line preparing to shoot a group of Indians, as one of them was the other warrior.
"There!" Koyomi said as the four of them soon jumped down into a pile of leaves and branches, as Connor and Koyomi both gave a high pitched whistle, as two sets of Wolf packs attacked the Bluecoats, distracting them, as the group cut down the unsuspecting Bluecoats, before Koyomi untied the Indians, and the warrior as well.
"Brother!" The warrior with the group stated.
"My brother!" The other warrior stated, as they embraced each other's hand. "I knew you would find us!"
"It is thanks to Ratonhnhake-ton and his group. They have made tremendous use of the Great Willow's strength." The first warrior told them.
"We will ensure that these people are taken care of." The other warrior told them.
"You should return to the Clan Mother. She will want to hear of our adventure." The first warrior told them.
"She will be proud of what we accomplished, that I am sure." Koyomi remarked, as she and the group left for the Clan Mother.
Part 4: Path of Revenge
The group trekked through the snow, before they found the dead bodies of natives nearby, with a trail of blood. Koyomi then realised where the trail of blood is leading.
"No… No… Nononono…" Koyomi blurted out, as she ran along the trail of blood, as the rest of the group followed her, to find that the trail of blood ended in a site of massacre, with the Clan Mother being one of the causalities, being barely alive. "CLAN MOTHER!"
Connor quickly propped the Clan Mother up, as she was weak and dying.
"Ratonhnhaketon, Kanemik:zo… Arnold's men followed your trail back here. Your brothers fought, but there were too many…" The Clan Mother wheezed.
"Oi, don't you die on me yet, old elder!" Hitomi exclaimed. "We haven't told you that your damn tea pretty much saved our lives!"
"I knew… the tea would have brought you the strength needed." The Clan Mother stated. "But it does not grant you immortality."
"We know… But it gave us life nonetheless…" Eruza remarked solemnly.
"By the looks of all of you… You have learned to grasp this power well…" The Clan Mother stated, as her life slipped away. "First kill Arnold, and stop the destruction here. Then kill Washington. You must succeed. If not all of you… no… body…"
Koyomi then closed the Clan Mother's eyes, knowing that she has passed from the world. "Great Spirits… guide the soul of this lost Clan Mother to her ancestors, where her rightful place is…" She chanted with sorrow in her voice.
As the Clan Mother was laid to rest by Koyomi, they soon heard hoof prints of five horses, as the group of four got tomahawks, or in Koyomi's case, katana, ready for a fight… only to hear…
"Damnit we may be too late!" Haytham yelled as he was leading a strike squad involving himself, Lucine, Myriam, Norris, and Stephane Chapeau. "Wait! I think I see some survivors! Wait here!"
Haytham soon got a closer look, as he approached the group, as he was in shock, seeing them alive.
"...Son…!? Mizo…!? You two…!? How…!? How are you alive…!?" Haytham exclaimed.
"We do not truly know… But the Clan Mother and her warriors saved us." Koyomi answered back. "We went for a journey to this place, where we acquired a power that only nature itself could provide. Father-in-law… We believe that we are on the grasp of finding the way to defeat Washington and that unknown power that is within his scepter."
"Thank God that someone is making progress on that. In the meantime we've been tracking down Benedict Arnold to slay him… oh! Speaking of…" Haytham said, soon turning around. "Come on over, everyone! It's Connor, Mizo, Hatoka, and Erika!"
"What!?" Lucina exclaimed as the four of them ran over, in joy and relief. "Oh my God… how…!?"
"That matters no longer. For now, our goal is Benedict Arnold." Haytham said.
"Do you have any leads?" Connor would ask them.
"Only that he's been leading a slave and execution train of most if not all native tribes. Oh, and don't worry for the Homestead, son. We have that place well guarded that Washington will find it a waste of time to even attempt an attack there." Haytham said.
"However, with you four back in the fight, we should track Arnold down quick as a flash, eh?" Stephane asked with a smirk. "We are at your command, Connor, just give us the word and we shall do it."
Gained: 5 Assassins for Combat
"However, what we do know is that there's a camp nearby." Myriam said. "We were on our way to try and eavesdrop some guards there and find out more information, but we saw blood and hoped we could save some of your tribespeople… but we were too late."
"Sorry, Connor, Mizo. We should have gotten here faster." Norris apologized.
"It is alright… We will get our revenge on Arnold for what he had done. Our tribe is not truly dead yet, so long as we and whatever scattered people of our tribe remain on his land." Connor answered back. "But right now, where did you find one of these slave 'trains', father? We believe it might have a clue on where Arnold is."
"Let me show you, son." Haytham stated, before he then led the group down a trail, where they found a group of Bluecoats, escorting a convoy of caged natives. "Here it is. I assume that one of the natives might have a clue about the next step to our search?"
"Indeed, but let us deal with them. Watch, father… this is but one part of the strength that the Great Willow bestowed us. Kane:mikzo, Erazakt'in, Hatomaun:ka." Connor told the other three natives. "Summon the wolf pack. They should be sufficient enough to take the guards down alone."
The four of them simultaneously whistled for their wolves, as a large pack of wolves rushed down to the Bluecoats, snarling and growling, as each and every one of them had their throats torn open by their fanged jaws, as the captive natives were shocked, as if they witnessed a divine miracle before them.
After they were sure that the Bluecoats were dead, the group came out, before they opened the convoy cages, releasing the natives inside.
"The wolf pack… They tore the guards down with savage precision… And yet they are so docile in your presence… Are you one who communes with the wolves?" One of the natives, a woman asked them.
"Not quite, that is all four of us." Koyomi responded back, gesturing at Connor, Hitomi and Eruza. "But hopefully, you are none too shocked."
"It does not matter. We are very grateful regardless. Once everyone is safe at the refugee camp north of here, I will join you in whatever quest you are seeking, as repayment for your kindness." The native woman answered back.
"Don't worry yourself about fighting, we got people to do that for you. Let us handle the killing, just keep yourself safe and away from all this Bluecoats nonsense." Hitomi remarked.
"Then at least let me point you towards where the rest of our people are. There are camps of our enslaved people, sad reminders of Arnold's terror and devastation." The native woman stated, before she led the group to a small camp. "It's very dangerous here. Guards everywhere, and they stalk the edge of the camp with dogs. These are very good dogs, warriors, alert with sharp eyes. If you get even many yards away from them, they yowl and bring the soldiers."
"Reminds us of a certain someone…" Eruza remarked, as Hitomi understood what Eruza was referring to.
"Then it is a good thing we have a Marksman with us to take care of them, as well as many more should we need it." Haytham said, before speaking with the native woman. "Thank you, for your help. You have repaid our kindness in full. We shall aid you yet again by freeing the captured people of your tribe and others, and we will see to it that Arnold is put down for good."
"I know that you will succeed. Farewell." The woman responded back, as she turned to leave.
"If the dogs are as good as she says… I doubt that even if we cloaked like wolves… They'd sniff us out." Eruza remarked. "Sure, the power makes us silent and invisible, but they can smell us out still. And that's going to be bad for us."
"Well, we'll just have to find a way to bait them off." Hitomi stated. "It's not like those dogs have any purpose but sniffing us off. Only kill the ones that won't budge out of our way. And bait the rest, like this."
Hitomi then walked towards one of the guard dogs, as she fished out a piece of raw meat for the guard dog, as it noticed the food, before it then slowly inched towards it, as she slowly sneaked around it, and killed its owner from behind, while the dog was feeding, as she gestured for the group to follow her.
The native group entered the camp, as they soon found Isreal Putnam coming out of one of the tents, with a Bluecoats officer.
"I must speak with Arnold myself." Putnam declared, walking toward the exit of the camp.
"Yes sir, I'll arrange a detail to escort you immediately." The officer responded back.
"I do not need one. You are acting commander in my absence." Putnam declined strongly. 'If anything should go wrong… well, your widow will be provided for. Dismissed."
As Putnam turned to leave, the group watched him closely, as they slowly sneaked around, using liberal use of their cloaking powers, as they passed by scenes of natives being held at gunpoint and being abused and tortured by their captors. They even watched as a firing squad put down a slew of natives, much to Koyomi's anger, although she kept herself cool.
They then followed Putnam, who rode horseback, as he was being hailed by a Bluecoat with a guard dog, who Hitomi took the chance to distract with some bait, as the Bluecoat tried to nudge his dog away from the food, which displeased Putnam, as he continued forward, allowing the group to continue following him, to another camp with a wooden gate and many more Bluecoat guards.
"Alright… We have managed to track Putnam to Arnold's location. Now then… how should we deal with this… I don't see any guard dogs, so cloaking our way in should be a sufficient tactic. But first… we need to get that gate open… Any ideas?" Koyomi asked the group.
"Over there. I think that this huggable grizzly wants some fun with the Bluecoats." Eruza joked, gesturing at the bear in a wooden cage nearby, as there were several Bluecoat guards around it. "Stay here, I'll do the work for you."
Eruza slinked over towards the cage, before she then quietly undid the lock holding the cage door closed, as the bear growled, before rearing into a upright position, as if ready to pounce through the cage, and maul the Bluecoats nearby to pieces. Eruza cloaked herself, as she went back to the group, just in time for the bear to break out and bloodily maul the guards.
"The bear! GET THE BEAR! General Arnold will have our heads!" One of the lookouts cried, as the wooden gate was slammed open, as a group of Bluecoats ran after the retreating bear, as the group snuck in cloaked, slowly searching the camp for Arnold, while killing whatever Bluecoats they came across, and hiding their bodies in various places.
Eventually, Hitomi managed to find Arnold, who was taking a walk alone, as he was unaware of the massacre happening at the moment, as she raised her tomahawk, and took position behind him.
"Say goodbye to your head." Hitomi stated, before she then slammed the blade of the tomahawk right into the back of Arnold's head, as he let out a agonising cry and collapsed, as the world faded around her. "The fuck is this… Some sort of private chamber for the two of us? Ah, whatever. Hey, Arnold, guess who's right before you, and just split your head open like a watermelon? Bad move trying to kill that old bag of bones. Connor and Koyomi liked her a lot, so being a technical sister to her, I decided that killing you would satisfy both of us."
"Who are you? What is happening?" Arnold gasped weakly.
"Oh, now you're just being plain insulting. Don't try the amnesiac game with me, pal. I don't like my prey to be insufferable, you know." Hitomi snarled back, crouching down near Arnold.
"I've never seen you before in my life! Washington's apple… He uses it to control men… You… You have to believe me. I… I was not in my right mind!" Arnold pleaded.
"Oh, har-har... " Hitomi stated with oozing sarcasm. "You sure seemed like you enjoyed that massacre of yours, and you don't seem much different to me, so spare me the bullshit and spill."
"Damnit, lady, at least listen to a man's dying words!" Arnold shouted, before he then was wracked with coughs. "Washington, he's gone mad. You, you have to bring him down. He's no more a man but a monster. Find Benjamin Franklin in Boston. He can help you… But you have to free him…"
"Oh for fuck's sake…" Hitomi stated, as she turned to leave, as Arnold passed away. "You're not a fucking clown, you're the whole circus. Just stop, seriously stop, before I mutilate your… Oh, you're dead already. Well, that was a pointless conversation. Now then… time to-"
Before she could continue, she was suddenly struck in the back of her head forcefully with the stock of a flint-lock, as she was knocked on the ground, quickly fading into unconsciousness from the force of the blow.
"Got you." She heard Putnam's voice behind. "And you little savage friends too…"
Hitomi twisted her head, as she noticed that Koyomi, Connor and Eruza were knocked out too in the vicinity.
"How… the… fuck… did… you… Urgh…" Hitomi spat out, before she then finally fainted.
However, just before Putnam could load them up, he turned around to find his "ally," Raditz and his platoon clapping for him, as they were all smiling.
"Bravo, bravo!" Raditz chuckled. "An extraordinary performance, Putnam. But, last I recall, the Cherokee and Iroquois extermination was under our jurisdiction, as I recall? You did make that agreement with us, didn't you?"
"Oh! Riccard! O-of course! Of course! Where would you have me deliver these savages?" Putnam would ask.
"Oh just to a little execution spot we have planned. Few miles to the northwest, not far really. Washington would enjoy seeing them in his presence again but he would also enjoy hearing that they were killed and properly snuffed, would he not?" Raditz quipped.
"And besides, you wouldn't want to run the risk, though very slight risk, that these savages would actually escape, would you, Putnam? I mean think about it. You hauling them to the prison and then they escape on you… it's rather embarrassing, especially for a man of such high standing with the King, to have that happen to him." Aerith said.
"Come to think of it you have a point. Very well, I have other important matters to attend to anyways, so I'll have my Soldiers deliver them to this area you speak of, so that they're properly dealt with. Ohohoho… Washington is going to be so pleased when I tell him this news, Riccard!" Putnam said with a chuckle, as he left, and Raditz and his platoon began guiding the prison cart, unknowingly leading them to an ambush spot, set up by himself and Haytham.
