MHA: New Shadow

It's been many years since Lamont Cranston the original Shadow has died and little is known about him now. But Izuku Midoriya who stumble upon his lair while evading Kacchan and his gowns. After being asleep for 20 days Izuku becomes the new Shadow and inherits Lamont's powers, Izuku will fight crime in his own ways like Lamont did even try to fight any darkness within. IzukuXRei

2. Retrieving Phurba

Izuku realize he's been asleep for 20 days begins his first mission, retrieving Phurba.

Shadow Lair 20 Days Later

Izuku finally wakes up from having a good sleep, but he passed out to begin with, now that his up he might find something that can be surprising or unbelievable. "That must of have been every adventure that Lamont Cranston had until the very end in Musutafu City", Izuku said taking the Long Red Scarf off and takes off the Black Slouch Hat and put them on the table.

"What the?" Izuku became surprise when he sees the day today especially on the calendar on a computer screen that's been reactivated.

"I've been asleep for 20 days, I've been watching all that montage in my sleep for 20 days! What else everyone outside even my Mom will believing I'm missing, because of this I've failed to return home or even show up at UA High!" Izuku deduce that he's been sleep for 20 days while watching all that montage, plus everyone including his mother will believe his missing after not returning home or showing up in UA High.

"That's not good!" Izuku puts the Long Red Scarf and the Black Slouch Hat back on and stands up from his chair walks around but stops to look at the mirror and finds something else that's surprising.

"I'm invisible? MMMMMMMMHHHHHHHH!" Izuku finds himself invisible and tries to make himself uninvisible and succeed.

"Does that mean I inherited Lamont Cranston's powers? Well let's find out, I'll start with reading people's minds. Staring with my Mom!" Izuku tries reading his Mom's mind from a distances away from where he is.

"Oh Izuku! Where are you please come home to me, I ask All Might and the Heroes to go and look for you and they still have found you yet! I Miss you Izuku!" Izuku can also hear her crying which means she really does miss him.

"Mom nothing bad happened to me, I just fell asleep for 20 days, now let's tries hypnotizing!" Even though his target is not present here, he knows Lamont Cranston did hypnotize Claymore who barely looked at him before he fell to his death.

UA High

Katsuki Bakugo/Kacchan is in class along with many others listening to a lecture of Shota Aizawa/Eraserhead until he knocks himself out by banging his head on the desk because Izuku hypnotized him into knocking himself out.

"Woah did Bakugo just knocked himself out!?" Denki/Chargebolt ask although they have no idea that Katsuki/Kacchan was hypnotize into doing that.

"Yeah it looks like", Shoto answered.

Shadow Lair

"Well then I guess all of it works just fine, the only thing I don't have in my possession is Phurba which he's in a Musutafu Museum. I don't like the idea of stealing Phurba from there but it's not like the Shadow can go on without Phurba anyway and if going to be a Hero out on the streets, I shall do it as a secret Vigilante like Lamont Cranston did when he was alive", Izuku/Shadow makes his vows as the new Shadow then leaves the lair for his first mission to extract Phurba, he leaves the lair turning invisible.

Musutafu Museum Night Time

"The Shadow knows the night belongs to the Shadow", Izuku/Shadow up in the rooftops of the building next to the Museum said.

"I know where to find Phurba, as for the security, it's not like they can see who broke you out", Izuku/Shadow said to himself then turns invisible again and prepares to enter the museum through a secret passages that was left behind by Lamont Cranston encase a new generation comes in his place.

"Nice one Lamont", Izuku/Shadow commented after finding the secret entrance that was disguise as a large Brick Surface that leads directly inside where Phurba is being kept on display.

Inside

Izuku/Shadow invisible opens the brick surface that's for hom to enter and finally he has finally reached Phurba, Izuku/Shadow looks around for any sign of Security Cameras and found none, next his use a smoke cloud to check for Red Lasers and found them but he's safe from it.

'Phurba!' Izuku/Shadow telepathically calls out to Phurba and he wakes up.

"SCEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" Phurba makes his screech roar which triggers the alarm to ring and alerting the Security Guards in the process.

"Crap!" Izuku/Shadow quickly grabs Phurba and high tails out of the museum by coming out from where he first entered and leave no traces even sealing up the entrance where he first came in, eventually the security guards will find nothing except that Phurba is gone.

"The Phurba Dagger is gone!" One the Security Guards said after pointing his flashlight toward the direction where Phurba used to be in display.

Outside

Izuku/Shadow holding Phurba in his Gloved hands gets out of his invisibility after getting himself a distances away from the Museum safely and back on the rooftops. "Phurba don't do that again", Phurba nods his head as yes, that was very quick for him to accept Izuku as his new Master. Izuku/Shadow then notice the Police finally showing up at the Museum alongside several Pro-Heroes and one of them is All Might.

"Well it's not like they will figure out where Phurba is and who took now", Izuku/Shadow commented it will take them slowly to figure out where and who took Phurba anyway.

All Might did turn around and got a glimpse of Izuku/Shadow who disappears from view but actually turn invisible again, "Shadow?" All Might said but he doesn't know Izuku actually took up the mantle.

'You okay All Might?" Nemuri Kayama/Midnight ask because what's up.

"Nothing, I taught I saw the Shadow but I don't know."

"Lamont Cranston has been dead for many years now and his stuff as the Shadow tucked away and Phurba was placed here, plus only a small number of us remember his heroic deeds."

"True, but what if someone actually manage to find Lamont Cranston's stuff and took up the mantle as the new Shadow. Lastly this new Shadow only broke into the Museum because Phurba was use by the Lamont Cranston and that doesn't mean Phurba wouldn't join up with the new Shadow", what All Might deduce made him and Midnight to suspect something.

Next Izuku/Shadow decided to become a little spooky toward Super Quirk Villains and a small run in with All Might due to his deduce about what if someone who took up the mantle of the Shadow.
