Chapter 2: Ladies First

Morning came and Lisa and Tiago got up at first light, to get an early start, needing to first make sure little Rosy got her breakfast along with their boys. Lisa also needed to ask her brother if he would watch over the three little ones while she and Tiago were out. As the morning sun continued to rise over the horizon and the three chicks woke up, each of them rubbing their eyes to get the tiredness out, Tiago, having gone out, came back with a full load of fresh fruits for everyone to eat.

"I hope those two had some time to cool down, it'll make our jobs easier." Lisa hoped as she took a bite while she made sure her boys and Rosalia had their share.

"It'll be fine, I'm sure, no one knows your sister better than you, same goes with Uncle Beto and I." Tiago confident as Lisa still had this little fear as the family inside hard the flapping of wings approach them form outside, Tiago looking to see who it was. "Hey Uncle Alex, surprised you came."

"Well, since you two are going out to help Roberto and Liz, I figured you would want someone to watch over these three, especially little Rosy here." Alex guessing exactly what Lisa would ask him. "Plus, I'll take any chance to spend time with my favorite nephews and niece.

"You know me too well big brother…" Lisa playfully rolled her eyes as she finished up her last bites of breakfast. "Speaking of which, we better get going Tiago." Lisa reminded her mate.

"Right…" Tiago took a deep breath before turning to his boys and niece. "Alright, boys, Rosalia, your Uncle Alex is in charge until we get back, so listen to him, okay."

"Yes dad. Arthur and Tyler replied.

"Yes Uncle Tiago." Rosalia said at the same time.

"We'll be back as soon as we can." Lisa promised before speaking directly to little Rosy. " And don't worry, we'll get your mom and dad back together." Lisa with a hopeful smile before she and Tiago started their task ahead, flying out of the hollow.

"Alright, I'll go find Uncle Beto, you go to your sister and lets meet back at the clay banks when we're done talking to them." Tiago planned as Lisa thought that sounded good.

"Okay, good luck." Lisa wished.

"You too." Tiago said back as the two split from each other, going in opposite directions as Lisa flew towards where the Scarlet macaws resided.

Ever since Lisa and Tiago became mates and had their own family, they made their own hollow in between the Blue and Scarlet tribes, that way it didn't feel like they belonged to one particular tribe, rather half and half as a kind of compensation. And they could still visit their families back in the tribes if they wanted and this time it was for a good reason, Lisa looking around and keeping an eye for her older sister. Soon enough Lisa spotting her sister catching up with the Scarlet patrollers, not having done so in awhile as it kept her busy not thinking of well… Him.

Lisa took a deep breath as she approached her sister, of course now the two had a good relationship with each other, but it always wasn't like that, Liz being very bossy before Alex returned back home. And if Liz wasn't bossing her around, she simply ignored the little chick, not wanting to bother with looking after her. When Alex came back, Liz realized her mistake and although she expected her little sister to be upset, Lisa wasn't and the two made up and since than have been making up for lost time.

"Hey little sis, what's up?" Liz said as Lisa came landing down, Liz sounding happy, but Lisa knew there was the hidden tone in her voice, like Liz knew why her little sister was here.

"I just thought that since you have some free time now, we could hang out, have a sister day or something like that, if you can." Lisa spoke, hiding her own intentions, which Liz also saw through.

"Are you sure that's the only reason?" Liz narrowed her eyes as the tension in the air grew, the patrollers standing nearby not knowing what to do as Lisa came a little closer to her sister so she could speak in a whisper.

"We really need to talk, please, do it for me?" Lisa softly pleaded as Liz knew she wouldn't get out of this.

"Fine…" Liz giving up before she turned to the patrollers standing there, waiting patiently. "You all are dismissed for now."

"Yes ma'am." The patrollers saluted before flying off and leaving the two siblings alone.

"Come on, lets go somewhere more private and talk." Lisa requested as Liz agreed with that as the two flew to a nut tree by the edge of the tribe, making sure there were leaves hiding them as much as possible before talking.

"Listen, I know what you're going to say and you can forget it, I'm not going to be with someone who doesn't show respect for everything I do or cares about me." Liz speaking up first.

"That's not what I was going to say…" Lisa replied as that was true, Liz surprised as she raised an eye.

"Than what?" Liz wanting to get it done.

"I just want you to remember why you fell in love with him, what made you sure he was the one that you would eventually have a little one with?" Lisa reminding her sister of little Rosy, which did succeed in making Liz feel a little bad now since she kinda of forgot she fought with Roberto right in front of the little girl.

"Is Rosy okay?" Liz asked, this time with a softer voice.

"Don't worry about her, our brother's with her right now with my boys." Lisa telling her sister as by now Liz was hanging her head down, so much that now Lisa was taller than her old sister. "Look big sister, right now, you have a lot of thinking to do, I know you two hit a rough spot now, but you two will figure it out and see things eye to eye, it just takes time."

"Have you ever felt that way with Tiago?" Liz wanting to know as a second opinion on her other sibling who has a special someone.

"Sometimes, but Tiago and I talk to each other when we need to about it and come to something we both can agree on and we also have our boys to think about and how they would feel if we argued with each other." Lisa giving some noteworthy advice. "Listen, I know it's hard, when you're ready, go to him." Lisa putting a wing on Liz's shoulder.

"Thanks little sis." Liz almost shedding a tear. "You know, you sound a lot like our brother."

"Yeah, he can certainly be like this when he needs to." Lisa joked and shared a few chuckles with Liz before Lisa opened up her wings for a hug, which Liz accepted as the two sisters hugged each other. "I guess I'll leave you to think over what I said and what you'll say to him. It's going to be okay."

"If you say so sis…" Liz not sure as it was tough for her to admit such things.

Lisa then left her sister to be alone so she could focus, Lisa then flying and making her way to the clay banks to wait or meet up with Tiago, who has gone to talk with Roberto, wherever he may be. Lisa hoped that Tiago would have an easy time, since the two males knew each other just as well.

"I really wonder how Tiago's doing…" Lisa thought as she flew out of the Scarlet tribe towards the clay banks located in the territory of the Blue macaw tribe.

The borders could be crossed freely as Lisa flew through the area of the Blue macaws, passing by the many hollows as Lisa saw the beautiful rushing waterfall, of which next to it was the clay banks. She didn't see Tiago there, which did surprise Lisa a little, Tiago was usually faster than she was as Lisa decided to take a rest while she waited for her mate to come so they could discuss their next move…

And that's a wrap on this chapter!

When we come back, we'll go over what happened with Roberto and Tiago and then the plan to get Roberto and Lisa back together!

Until than…

See everybird later!
