After being asleep for 20 days Izuku becomes the new Shadow and inherits Lamont's powers, Izuku will fight crime in his own ways like Lamont did even try to fight any darkness within. IzukuXRei

Izuku Midoriya/Shadow POV

"In the aftermath as we all recover there was still plenty of time to spare before it's time to return to Musutafu City, we enjoy what remains of the party and All Might makes his speech, so did I because they wanted me to be a part of it. Many Shadow fans ask for my autograph, Lamont Cranston would have done the same thing if he was still here with us, I even gave them a demonstration with my powers and show Phurba to the fans."

"Right now I need to speak with David who is recovering just fine at the hospital and speaking with Melissa. Oh I'll stay in my Shadow Costume like I still am."

Hospital

Izuku/Shadow enters David's hospital room and fines that Melissa have fallen asleep on David after she was finish talking with him. "Hey Izuku, you came here to talk?" David ask if that's what he's here for.

"Yeah", he answered as he grabs a chair and start talking.

"You know that Quirk Application Device, I think the sponsors only took it away out of fear, because if it ever fell into the wrong hands the damage can be far more worst than nuclear bombs, atomic and megaton", Izuku/Shadow believes the reason why the Sponsors took the devices is out of fear of what kind damage if could do if enemies ever got their hands on and it could be far more worst than nuclear, atomic and megaton bombs.

"Okay I get that now Izuku", David understand that but he has already redeemed himself.

"But I know you just want to help All Might", Izuku/Shadow also knows that David only wanted to help All Might nothing else.

"As for Sam, you only wanted to help All Might while him is greedy for money", Izuku/Shadow said that David only wanted to help All Might while Sam was greedy for money.

"But Sam has finally learned his lesson after seeing what Wolfram did to him because he never had any intention on giving what he wants and you saved his life so Sam might have already redeemed himself."

"David if All Might needs to retire as the Symbol of Peace because of his fading Quirk there will be always a successor", Izuku/Shadow implies even if All Might retires there will be always be a successor in his place to continue his legacy.

"Are you talking about yourself?"

"Probably, I always idolized All Might and wanted to be like him, I became disappointed when I discovered I was Quirkless and my Mom was there to comfort me. In the end I was satisfied when I became the new Shadow despite that his powers are not Quirk."

"That's good news anyway", David said while Melissa smiles after listening to their conversation while she is sleeping.

Later On

"Hey Izuku, looking at the city one last time before it's time to go home?" All Might ask after watching him look at the city one last time.

"Yes All Might, but I know will see I-Island someday", Izuku/Shadow knows they will return to visit I-Island one day.

"We will, plus everyone have giving you their thanks for saving I-Island", All Might means everyone is hailing Izuku/Shadow a hero for saving I-Island.
