As the heroes, surrounded in darkness went up to the locked door, a voice came through the bars, bars.
"UEE HEE HEE, THE KEY, THE KEY. A MARVELOUS FUN IS ABOUT TO BREAK FREE!"
"WON'T YOU LET YOURSELF OUTSIDE…?"
The prince from the dark was worried about this, as his expression shifted into a worrisome and hesitant look, he said something. "I'm not sure about this, guys…"
The monster turned to him, agreeing. "Well, if you don't trust it, we can go fight the king now."
"Let's go, Kris!"
But they didn't answer.
"…Uh, Kris?"
The Door Key created a door.
"Wh- Kris?!" The reptilian monster said, with an obvious tone of surprise in her voice.
"…Come on." The human said, almost emotionless.
As they entered, the voice had spoken once again.
"UEE HEE HEE! VISITORS, VISITORS! NOW WE CAN PLAY, PLAY!"
The imp-looking jester had an insane smile on it's face. "THEN, AFTER YOU, I CAN PLAY WITH EVERYONE ELSE, TOO!"
"So, what are we playing, exactly?"
"OH, IT'S JUST A SIMPLE NUMBERS GAME."
A scythe came crashing down on our heroes, with it resulting in them dodging as the jester laughed.
"WHEN YOUR HP DROPS TO 0, YOU LOSE!"
The monster chuckled. "Heh, so that's the kind of game you wanna play, huh?"
"Then, I gotta warn you…"
Everyone went ready for battle, Kris taking out their sword, Ralsei getting ready, and Susie slamming her axe onto the ground.
"You're dealing with a couple of sharks." She said, as a terrifying smile went across her face.
"UEE HEE HEE! SHARK TO SHARK, I WOULDN'T HAVE IT ANY OTHER WAY! NOW, NOW!"
As the carousel began spinning, the wicked jester said out loud.
"LET THE GAMES BEGIN!"
