*Dustin looked to the door and seen a lady come in. She was in her mid-to-late 20s. Her Brunette hair was done up in a swing bob hairdo, she was about 5'6", and was wearing her nurses' outfit, which was a waist-length, white coat, a knee-length skirt, and a pair of low-profile heels. Her glasses were a lot like his own, but they somehow were slightly more feminine. This was Shelly Regal.

Shelly: Hello.

Dustin: H..Hi.

*She rolled a tray full of wound-cleaning supplies over next to wear he was sitting on a rolling tray.

*She slowly undid the bandages around his arm, and he just watched. When the bandages lost its tightness completely, he could feel the wound a lot more and he winced a little.

Shelly: Oh yeah, that's gonna need a few stiches, but it shouldn't be to hard to heal up. You'll have a nasty scar.

Dustin: That's fine.

*She grabbed the cotton swab and the alcohol from the tray. She wet the swab turned to his cut.

Shelly: This is gonna sting.

Dustin: Go ahead.

*She began to clean off the wound, his breathe coming out in a low growl.

Shelly: I'm sorry

Dustin: No, you're fine. It isn't that bad.

*Her hand slipped into the cut a bit.

Dustin: Ahhh…

Shelly: I'm sorry, I have to clean it.

Dustin I know.

*Dustin looked at her name tag.

Dustin: Your name is Shelly?

Shelly: Yeah.

Dustin: That's a really nice name.

*She blushed a little.

Shelly: Thank you.

*She finished cleaning his arm and put the swab down.

Dustin: When do you go on break?

Shelly: In about half an hour.

Dustin: Tell you what, I'll meet you in the lounge if you'd like. I wouldn't mind having a cup of coffee with you.

*She blushed even harder.

Shelly: I'd like that.

*She opened the door

Shelly: Dr. Lee will be in to see you shortly.

*She winked at him as she left the room.

Dustin: Good Lord Almighty, she is gorgeous.

*Dr. Lee came in with a smile on his face.

Dr. Lee: Hello, Dustin.

Dustin: Hey Doc.

*Dr. Lee finished sewing up the cut on his arm and wrapped it gingerly with a fresh gauze wrap.

Dr. Lee: Alright, you're good to go.

Dustin: Well, you don't mind if I hang around the lounge for a bit do ya?

Dr. Lee: Ahh, so that's why she was smiling huh?

Dustin: Yeah,

Dr. Lee: I don't mind at all. Jackie will let her know you're in the lounge.

Dustin: Thanks Doc.

*Dustin sat at the table in the coffee lounge used by patients' families and employees on their break. Dustin took a drag from his cigarette and leaned back in his padded wooden chair. He looked at his watch and seen it was 1:05 P.M.

Dustin: I hope everything is alright.

*Shelly walked into the coffee lounge taking off her nurse's cap and laying it on the table.

Shelly: Sorry, I didn't mean to keep you waiting.

Dustin: I understand, I know how busy your job can get.

Shelly: How's your arm?

Dustin; It's fine. A bit tender, but I'll be fine.

*He wiggled his fingers to show his muscles were still working.

*She reached for her money and Dustin stopped her.

Dustin: Don't. I'll get it.

*He got up, grabbing a dime from his pocket. He grabbed her a cup of Coffee from the vending machine.

Dustin: Cream? Sugar?

Shelly: Just sugar please.

*They sat and talked together for almost her whole break.

Shelly: I'm sorry, my break is over. I gotta get back to work.

*She passed him a note on the table.

Shelly: Hope I see you again, Detective.

Dustin: Oh, I' sure you will.

*She walked towards the door of the lounge. Her hips weaving back and forth a bit more seductively than normal.

Shelly: Bye for now.

*She left the room. Dustin opened the note.

"Call Me Sometime, 555-0482 Shelly Regal" .

*Dustin made his way out to the Roadrunner. It was now alone, sitting in one of the visitor's spot used for police officers near the Emergency entrance. He put the note in his pocket and got into the driver side seat of the Roadrunner.

Dustin: Shelly….

*He started the engine and drove out of Consular General's lot. He made his way back to Clearwater, thinking about Shelly Regal the whole drive home.
