**DISCLAIMER**
I do not own Starcraft or any of its associated properties, characters or species.
I use them in an Alternate Universe capacity, with my own characters, interpretations of existing ones including but not limited to belief systems and familial ties, events speculated or written of by others (Including the original Antioch Chronicles and their fictions from the early 2000's which are almost impossible to find anymore) and am a lover of Multiverse Theory acknowledging storylines.
I am aware several of my main characters are 'Mary Sue' or 'Marty Stu' characters, within context though and given my ability to write all of their stories out, I hope that you, the reader, would understand why and be willing to set aside any grievance with such.
Several species mentioned here are mine however, are likely still in development (indefinitely because I'm a huge procrastinator) and will be only briefly touched on in official capacity within the confines of a story.
As much of my personal and continuously editing storylines are tied into existing universes (including some that are far more obscure than more recent ones) I will do my best to tag appropriately.
If you are interested, I have a Discord server for RP/Questions and will be very cautious about chatting as I've been burned many times. I also have several art pages I frequent, though my main character hub ( ) is privatized.
I may do requests, if enough interest is brought up and it's a character I resonate with, and am familiar with the universe, so don't be afraid to send me a PM!

Following the ascension to Xel'Naga and subsequent sacrifice of Sarah Kerrigan in order to defeat the dark god Amon, the Koprulu Sector found coexistence and peace to be fraught with challenges, yet, with the Zerg swarm headed by Zagara as Overqueen, many of those challenges were easily remedied. Zagara, preferring to lead by the example set by her Queen, withdrew most of the swarm to Char and their former cluster worlds, leaving communications open with the Terran Dominion in the form of Izsha, who remained within a small self-containing miniature Hive aboard the Hyperion to be easily accessed should the need arise. The Primal Zerg, Dehaka, had been known to assist the Terrans with rogue factions from time to time, but largely remained on Zerus and a few worlds owned by Zagara.
Artanis and the Daelaam, once the Tal'Darim -who were far less tolerant of other races- had absconded back to their corner of the sector, also extended their own offer of aid to the Terrans; Admiral Matthew Horner and Emperor Valerian Mengsk, as they would be the political and military leadership once Jim Raynor stepped down.
Which he did, almost immediately after the last battle.
Jim wanted to stay in the Void with her. Everyone knew. Rory Swann had tried to joke with him about it once, to which he received a broken nose and silent treatment for days afterward. Not even Matthew mentioned her around him after that.
Sarah had sent him away with everyone else, he knew she had not wanted to. Her love for him had been almost tangible as she withdrew from his mind, leaving Jim almost feeling as though a blade had gone through his heart. When Ulnar shut down and went dormant, the doorway to the Void closed with it.
That had led to the understanding and division of the sector between the three ruling factions, and eventual recovery and rehabilitation of one Egon Stettmann, who appeared almost out of nowhere, having been promptly chased off Bel'Shir by the Tal'Darim. Jim Raynor had slipped away silently during all of the political back and forth, saying a farewell to his Protoss ally, and friend, Artanis.
Two years later a communique from Joeyray's bar on Mar'Sara announced that Jim had disappeared, leaving his sheriff's badge on the bar and his Vulture hover-bike outside with the keys in it. Some who knew him had figured out that, somehow, Sarah had gone back for him. Some doubted that Sarah would concern herself with mortals once more after becoming Xel'Naga, some of the Dominion populace were exhilarated that a once-human Telepath had been the one to end the last war, however most just ignored it. The wars were forgotten by the majority of the general populace almost as quickly as things appeared to go back to normal for most.
Even the Daelaam turned away from the affairs of others for a time, to focus on rebuilding the glory of Aiur, though not before holding vigils for the lost and focusing on moving past the caste system and the segregation of their different tribes. Artanis had been fully supportive of this idea, that all Protoss would be able to pursue their own desires and dreams, learning what interests them as individuals, to further their people as a whole.
Some were more easily able to assimilate to this than others, the Nerazim having been what Terrans would have called a 'melting pot' of castes and cultures of all sorts. Thankfully, the former ruling caste known as the Judictura, or Judicators, had almost entirely been wiped out, and those that remained were of a more open mindset, having learned from a Judicator of Scion province that the Conclave had denounced yet still tolerated from afar. He had taught the old ways, in secret of course, that the Judictura were supposed to be public leaders, not dictatorial rulers, to listen to the people and help assuage their concerns, by showing them memories of experiences of those from the past, aided by Preservers who could, before the loss of the Khala, easily access the memories and almost the very spirits of those who had passed on.
That Judicator had gone missing, prior to an uprising caused by his successor that had led to the death of ten thousand Shelak tribesmen, Karax's fellow Khalai.
Returning matters to the present, eight months after the disappearance of Jim Raynor; the Daelaam and the Terran Dominion had requested a summit with Overqueen Zagara, following many reports of Wild or Feral Zerg seen on Aiur around where Amon's Hybrid body had been destroyed. Surface scans showing tunnels obscured by whatever radiation still remained on the surface had been done, and even some ground surveys confirmed the presence of these tunnels, however no signs of Zerg could be found. Save for the occasional corpse of some Zergling or Drone discovered near a known cave entrance several days after it had died, suspected to have been killed by its fellows. Though loath to admit it, Artanis needed Zagara's assistance, as even his most experienced trackers and hunters had been unable to properly deal with the threat.
Zagara, as per her usual, arrived in a Leviathan, surrounded by a swarm of Mutalisks and Scourge, several Vipers hidden amongst the swarming flyers. Two Vipers escorted a single Overlord to the Hyperion, to the opposite cargo bay from Rory Swann's shop, where Izsha resided. The overlord landed carefully, Zagara emerging from the underside Sac of the large hovering creature, in all her deadly and dangerous splendor.
"Overqueen Zagara, I hope today finds you well." Valerian greeted, offering a bow which Zagara returned in a similar gesture. Valerian had thankfully been reassured by Zagara, following the final days of the territorial disputes, that the Zerg would no longer experiment on or with Terran DNA, unless asked to assist with genetic manipulation or something of the sort. Of course, such assistance would not be free, that the Zerg would require some form of repayment, which would be worked out at the time when such should arise.
**I am, Emperor Valerian. I see you have been taking good care of Izsha as well.** Zagara nodded an acknowledgement to Matthew, standing at Valerian's right, and Izsha, who emerged from her hive structure to bow to her Overqueen. Matthew nodded himself, though remained straight-faced and more focused on Valerian, as he preferred Military Politics over Leadership and Hierarchy. Much easier to pull rank than attempt to posture and intimidate possibly far stronger beings.
"Indeed, she has been very easy to please, an excellent guest." Matthew cleared his throat, Valerian lightly jabbing him in the ribs with an elbow. Zagara did notice this, yet did not pry, seeing the slight smirk on the General's face as she conversed with Izsha for a brief moment without words. Matthew disliked having Izsha on his ship, however Valerian rarely stayed within the capital proper, instead having most of his meetings and such via holo-communications from the Hyperion. Therefore, having the Zerg Ambassador on the Hyperion was their most convenient option.
**The Protoss need my assistance with some feral Zerg? I am, admittedly, confused.** Zagara asked, moving to settle next to Izsha, as the Hyperion cargo bay doors closed behind the Overlord she had arrived in once it had exited. Per the post-war treaty, the Leviathan and its accompanying swarm would only be permitted into Daelaam space if escorted by the Hyperion, and with Zagara on the Terran Dominion ship. They felt the ship shudder as it went into a warp jump, as they were still a few systems from their destination, a rendezvous point near Ulnar, still closer to Aiur than any of the Terran or Zerg worlds.
"Yes, Hierarch Artanis has investigated himself and advised that these Zerg seem to have learnt how to hide very well and know how to evade even the stealthiest of his trackers." Valerian explained, Zagara tilting her head to one side curiously.
**Very intriguing. I look forward to this challenge.** Zagara bowed her head lightly, able to tell from their mannerism that the two wished to return to the bridge, waving farewell as they departed.
Matthew let out a sigh of relief once the cargo bay door had closed, Valerian just rolling his eyes. "You let her appearance bother you way too much."
"No sir, I just don't like the politics involved." Matthew grinned sheepishly, Valerian just shaking his head and almost walked into Egon Stettman, who had been muttering to himself and his tablet as he walked down the hall. The scientist who had spent far too long on Bel'Shir and the whole while exposed to Terrazine, let out a squeak, scrambling to catch himself and stiffening, clutching his tablet to his chest.
"Stettmann, there you are. Stay away from our guests until we are leaving." Valerian narrowed his eyes, wagging a finger almost accusationally at him. Egon blinked, gave a sheepish grin, nodded, and turned right back around the way he had come, back toward the bridge, where they were both headed. Valerian scrubbed a hand over his face, it was going to be a long day.
Once they reached the bridge, a few paces behind Egon, they blinked at the scientist, who had a strange image up on their holo-map.
It looked like a golden blob at first, so bright they thought it was an up-close image of a star, both squinting to adjust their eyes, Egon working to clear the image a bit. Valerian moved to stand just a pace behind Egon as he ran infrared and light diffusion clearing algorithms on the image. Then, a brief blinding flash as he accidentally reset all the selections he had made, with a barely heard curse, before the overwhelming glow around the shape on the screen seemed to switch off and they could clearly see the creature captured in the image.
At first glance, it looked like a ship, but unlike any they had before seen, though not too dissimilar from a Protossian Scout. A long, segmented, serpentine body with wings that seemed to operate akin to those of birds, interlocking plates mimicking feathers with streaks of light that appeared to emit forward thrust emitted from horizontal bands along the wings. What struck them most, when Egon began to play the video with the filters applied; that the creature, as they could see by its movements, turned and stopped, as though it knew it was being observed. Six eyes in two rows on either side with a single large central seventh eye atop its forehead on a very angular, almost like an axe-blade shaped head with a beak, focused on the camera directly, turning the rest of the serpentine body around to reveal four limbs tucked against its belly, two pairs of feather-like fins along its tail -one at the base and the other near the tip- and more feather-like fins near the wrists and ankles. It waited a moment, almost suspended in place, lines of light, akin to what they had grown accustomed to seeing on Ghost Operative body armour, pulsed along the beings sides, starting from the jaw, they assumed, along the throat, along several lines of the body, wings and down the tail and limbs. Egon then paused the playback, clearing his throat nervously as it had been a long time since he had given any form of briefing.
"This has been seen in many areas, all over the sector, first near Mar'Sara, about six months ago. It has shown up more in the last few months, most notably near Haven, where it actually went to a remote area of the surface, where a wild Zerg hive was later found decimated." Egon paused, removing his glasses briefly to clean the lenses almost as a distraction for himself. "I don't think it's a construct, but a creature in armour, based on its movements."
"When did the Haven incident occur?" Valerian asked, scratching his chin thoughtfully as he scrutinized the image. It resembled old-earth tales of Dragons, but those had been long since confirmed to be myths, the closest thing humans had ever come to encountering something similar, had been the Zerg.
"Three days ago, Sir. I remember receiving a report regarding it, it was also given to Izsha in order to advise the Overqueen of the now eliminated wild Zerg. Courtesy, of course." Matthew interrupted, remembering the military report that had been dropped on his desk two days previous, the day after the strange armoured light-creature had appeared. Egon simply nodded, keeping his head down.
Since leaving Bel'Shir, Egon had first gone through horrific withdrawals, the constant Terrazine exposure having myriad consequences to his physical and mental health. Thankfully, and though it was difficult at first, Egon did recover, in large part due to his own research and the involvement of the Daelaam.
Were it not for the Protoss, his mind may never have returned to relative normalcy, as his exposure to Terrazine had made him not only telepathically psionic, but Empathic as well. This, coupled with being untrained as such, left his mind open to being influenced by everything around him, animals and plantlife included. Had it not been for the exceptionally patient -and curious, much to the surprise of everyone as they had expected her to protest working with another species- Rohana, he may have never recovered. In order to keep his Empathic tendencies under control, he wore gloves on a regular basis, the direct touch of skin often forcing the emotions of others onto him.
Valerian gently reached out and squeezed Egon's shoulder reassuringly, able to see that he had started to withdraw inward, likely feeling unneeded as they already were aware of what he wanted to tell them. Valerian could see a lot of his younger self in the scientist, something he had to quickly squash and work past in order to operate in his current occupation as Emperor of the Terran Dominion.
"Was there anything else you had observed?" Valerian encouraged, meeting Egon's gaze, his now permanently glowing violet eyes dimmed only slightly by the glasses he returned to his face. Egon shook his head, offering a slight smile, to show he would be alright. "Thank you Stettmann." Egon then bowed lightly before quickly returning to his lab, Valerian watching him go, almost feeling responsible for the hardship faced by the permanently scarred young man. Matthew shared a knowing glance with Valerian before they dismissed the image from the sector map, returning it to the view of Aiur's star system.
