It has been three days since Rojo Lobo has been under the control of Sartana. Lady La Muerte and Lord Xibalba were at the Lobo's apartment with Maya's family, the Riveras, and Frida trying to figure out their next step of action. Even Maya's and Luna's father was there to help his daughter. "I cannot believe that, Maya is the calm one of this family. How could she fall under the spell of that perra!?" El Roble Nergo growled as he paced back and forth.
"You are aware that Sartana is our daughter, correct?" Lady Le Muerte asked the plant villain.
He then got a look of dread on his face. "My apologies, my lady and lord. I am just wondering why Maya was so angry that she fell under the influence of the string," he said. Luna looked away from the others and had knowing look on her face. He saw it. "Luna sweetie, do you know something?"
She said nothing and gave a fake smile. "Luna Lucinda Lobo, what do you know?" Lisabella asked in a rageful voice.
Luna sighed. "She angry because, she found out who Red Raptor is and he's…" she lingered.
"Me," Rex's voice came from behind them. He and Zoey snuck in through the door. They had looks of regret on their faces.
Plant vines then grew from the nearest plants and wrapped around Rex's throat. "Give me one good reason I should not feed you to my flytraps in tiny pieces!" El Roble Nergo screamed in the boy's face.
Lisabella slapped her ex-husband on the head. "Sebastian, put the boy down, and let me have a chance to yell at him," she said before he put him down. She then took Rex by the collar of his shirt. "You used my little girl. After we break the spell, I will personally put you and your whole in the deep cell of the farthest prison from this city so you can never see or hurt Maya again, do you understand" she growled from the bottom of her soul. Rex didn't say anything. Lisabella's temper was at it's boiling point. "Answer me!"
Rex sighed. "I understand why I should go to prison, although I never actually used Maya for evil, I did used her to feel like I really had a friend. I do not want stop seeing her, but I will if that is what will make her happy, but it's not my family's fault. Zoey told me not to flirt with her when I'm Red Raptor, Mom and Grandma didn't know about my friendship with Maya," he explained.
Zoey put her hand around Lisabella's wrist. "Mrs. Lobo, please. We never meant to hurt Maya. I never took advantage of my friendship with her, she's the only person who does not see me as just some weird loner, like some people I could mention," she said giving a hateful glare at Frida. Lisabella took a deep sigh and dropped Rex on his butt. "Good, now what's the plan?"
They all looked at each other. "We got nothing," they all said at once.
Zoey and Rex face palmed. "Maya has been tearing up the town for three days and you have come up with anything?" Rex said in a groan. He then looked at Xibalba and bowed on one knee. "Great Lord Xibalba, didn't you use your snake staff to put Maria Posada into a trance and then she was revived by the medal of ever lasting life?" he asked. Everyone looked at him in confusion. "I like to read books that involve stories from the Book of Life. The one about the wager between you and Lady Le Muerte of the fate between Manolo and Joaquin for the hand of Maria is my favorite."
Xibalba sighed. "Unfortunately for us, we destroyed the medal after Manolo's and Maria's wedding."
Le Muerte placed her hand on her husband's shoulder. "There is only one when to break the spell. The victim must fight from the inside their mind and free themselves," she explained.
Rex thought for a second. "That's it. I am the reason she is angry. So, if I go to her-"
"She will try to kill you and then we can corner her and try to help her," Manny finished.
Zoey intervened. "We are not sending my brother out there to be killed by the person he loves!"
"I will do it," Rex said calmly. Zoey gasped. "Zoey, I might die, but not before I try to fix things with Maya. I love her and I will do anything to make sure she will be safe. Me and I may walk through different sides of the law, and I may not be able to see the future with her, but I don't care. As long as she is in my life, I know I will be happy."
Zoey sighed and nodded. "Maya is in the park, we have to hurry," White Pantera said and they were off.
