Disclaimer: I don't own South Park.

"Heya, fellas!"

Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny averted their attention to the cheerful boy who had just spoken to them. He was smiling and waving as he joined them at the South Park bus stop.

"Oh, hey, Butters," Stan said.

"How's it going, dude?" Kyle added.

"Wassup?" Kenny mumbled from under his hood.

A sly smirk crossed Cartman's face. There was hardly anything he enjoyed as much as tormenting the sweet-natured gullible child. Eager to show off in front of the others, he made his way over to Butters.

"Oh, I'm sorry, Butters!" Cartman exclaimed mockingly. "Were you talking to us guys?"

"Well, yeah!" Butters replied. "I sure was, Eric!"

"Oh, I'm sorry, Butters! You've come to the wrong place!" Cartman put his arm around Butters' shoulders with a look of mock sympathy. "You see, the bus stop is the place for only the cool guys to hang out. Where you need to go is Craig's house."

"I do?" Butters exclaimed, surprised.

"Yeah. That's the only place in South Park that's been built for little pansy-wusses like you!"

Cartman exploded into loud laughter. He collapsed onto the ground, roaring at how hilarious he thought he was. Butters stared down at him with a bewildered look. He couldn't understand why the fat kid was being meaning to him again.

"Why gosh, Eric! That sure as heck ain't nice!"

"It's the truth, Butters! But then again, you're such a moron that you can't see what a moron you are!"

Cartman's laughter grew louder. He rolled on the ground in front of the child who he was taking pleasure in being mean to in front of his friends.

Butters gazed down unhappily. The cruel way Cartman was treating him wasn't anything new - but it didn't make it any less hurtful.

"Knock it off, dude," Stan said to Cartman, not the least bit amused by how he was treating Butters for no good reason.

"Yeah, Fatass," Kyle agreed. "Just leave Butters alone."

"You suck!" Kenny added bluntly in his muffled voice.

"No, no, no! It's true you guys!" Cartman stopped rolling and wiped the tears that were falling from his eyes from how much he was laughing. "Let's face it, Butters is gotta be the stupidest moron in South Park."

Butters stared with a pained look at the overweight kid. He was truly hurting inside by how ill he was speaking of him. It was a deep agony that was seeping through the innocent child - which was beginning to take control of him.

"Like, remember the time I told Butters' a meteor was gonna hit the earth and made him hide in a bomb shelter for days?" Cartman snickered.

Butters glared at how Cartman was starting to bring up all the times had tricked him and taken advantage of him. His gloved hands clenched into fists.

"That's enough, Eric!" he demanded.

Cartman ignored him. "And then there was that time I dressed up as a robot, pretending to be his friend - and he actually fell for it!

"I said that's enough!" Butters shouted.

"Oh, and don't forget that time I posed as him while speaking to his parents on the phone!" Cartman burst into laughter and started rolling around again. "Oh man! His mom and dad were so pissed over what I called him. It felt so good to hear Butters get in so much trouble for all the things I said to his parents-"

Unable to bear anymore, Butters suddenly ran over to where Cartman was rolling on the ground - and with all his strength, he started to kick him in the face.

"ARGH!" Cartman screamed in pain.

Stan, Kyle and Kenny looked on with shocked, wide-eyed expressions.

"Jesus Christ, dude!" Stan hollered.

"Butters!" Cartman snapped, holding his nose where it had been struck by the blonde's foot. "What the hell are you doing?!"

"I'm teaching you a lesson for all the times you've been mean to me, Eric!"

"Been mean to you?!" Cartman expressed surprise. "I've never been mean to you! I've been nothing but nice to you, ya dumbass!"

"That really does it, Eric!" Butters rolled up his sleeves. "It's about time you got exactly what you deserve!"

"Ten million dollars?!" Cartman asked hopefully.

Butters sneered. He clenched his fists and towered over where the fat kid lay - before starting to beat him up. He punched and kicked Cartman with strength no one ever knew he had.

"OW!" Cartman wailed. "CUT IT OUT, BUTTERS! I'M GONNA KILL YA!"

Butters ignored him. A wide smile was on his face in his enjoyment of beating Cartman up. After all the torment and bullying the overweight child had put him through, it felt so good to pay him back with physical measures.

Unable to defend himself as he was being whacked and kneed, Cartman turned towards where the other boys were standing. They were watching him being attacked, not making a move to come to his aid.

"DON'T JUST STAND THERE, ASSHOLES!" Cartman screamed. "GET OVER HERE AND HELP ME! GET THIS DOUCHEBAG OFF OF ME!"

Stan, Kyle and Kenny remained where they were. All were in shock by how uncharacteristically violent Butters was being. They observed the graphic sight of him beating Cartman to a bloody pulp - but didn't do a thing to help the horribly obnoxious child.

"Dude!" Kyle exclaimed. "Butters is totally kicking Cartman's ass right now!"

Kenny pulled the cords on his hood, closing it up around his face to partially shield his eyes from the gruesome sight before him.

Butters continued to mercilessly assault Cartman until he had used up most of his strength. He finally came to a stop, panting heavily as beads of sweat rolled down his face. Cartman lay below him on the ground. No longer was he rolling around laughing but was laying in a pool of blood. He was such a pathetic sight of his black eyes, bleeding nose and broken teeth.

"NOW LET THAT BE A LESSON TO YA, ERIC!" Butters yelled at the top of his lungs as he pointed down towards Cartman. "CONSIDER THAT PAYBACK FOR ALL THE TIMES YOU'VE BEEN MEAN TO ME OVER THE YEARS! TRICK ME OR TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ME JUST ONE MORE TIME - AND I'M REALLY GONNA FUCKING-"

"BUTTERS!"

The blonde stopped angrily ranting upon hearing his name being yelled from behind him. His face went white with terror as he easily recognised who the angry voice belonged to. Tensing up with fear, he slowly turned around to gaze up at the furious expression of the very person he had been expecting.

"Oh..." Butters smiled nervously. "Hey, Dad!"

"TAKE THAT SMILE OFF YOUR FACE, YOUNG MAN!" Stephen Stotch thundered. "YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH SERIOUS TROUBLE YOU ARE IN!"

Butters' smile faded. "Oh hamburgers..."

"I CAN'T BELIEVE WHAT I'VE JUST SEEN YOU DO!" Stephen went on rambling, his face turning red. "I SERIOUSLY CAN'T FIND THE WORDS TO TELL YOU HOW ANGRY I AM - TO HEAR YOU THROWING AROUND THE F-WORD!"

Stan and Kyle glanced wordlessly at each other. Both were befuddled at Butters' father was only angry about hearing his son swearing - and wasn't a bit bothered about him beating up Cartman.

"Oh geez..." Butters dropped his gaze, fidgeting with his hands.

"WELL, HERE'S SOME WORDS I DON'T HAVE ANY TROUBLE FINDING!" Stephen fiercely pointed down towards Butters before loudly letting out of his throat the words he had shouted at him all to often. "BUTTERS, YOU ARE GROUNDED!"

That was enough for Butters.

He lifted his head to gaze up meekly at his dad - before suddenly delivering a hard kick.

"ARGH!"

Stephen screamed in pain. He clutched the spot where his son had struck behind before collapsing to the ground, laying weekly alongside Cartman.

"Holy shit!" Kyle cried, just as shocked as Stan and Kenny were by what they had witnessed.

Butters stood over where he had called his father to crumble to the ground. The glare he had been wearing moments ago returned to his face as he pointed down towards Stephen.

"Not this time, Dad!" Butters bellowed. "You're always grounding me over and over again! You ground me for things that aren't my fault! You even ground me for things that have nothing to do with me!"

Stephen groaned in agony.

"Well not this time! I will not be grounded for saying just one itty-bitty swear word! Let that be a lesson to you, Dad - and if you try to ground me for this, I'm gonna let you have it the same way I let Eric have it! Fuck you, Dad!"

With all his rage and aggression now spent, Butters headed away from the bus stop and went down the street. He left his father and bully behind where he had been hitting them the two of them. Both Stephen and Cartman were in too much pain to move or lift themselves up from the ground.

Stan, Kyle and Kenny remained where they were. They were all shocked upon seeing Butters finally snap and beating up those who had always been needlessly cruel to him. They peered down towards Stephen, making their way to where he lay to stand over him.

"Mr Stotch sir," Kyle said, "your son is a little monster!"

"Yeah, dude!" Stan agreed. "You should be ashamed of yourself for raising a violent little punk like Butters!"

"It's not my fault, boys!" Stephen insisted. "I've been a good father to Butters by grounding him every time he misbehaves - only for him to rebel against me and get worse every time! It's not my fault that son of mine is a little bastard!"

Stan and Kyle looked at each other. The sight of what the sweet, gentle kid was capable of doing to his father when pushed too far was a real eye-opener to them.

"Y'know, Kyle," Stan said. "I think we'd better be nothing but nice to Butters from now on."

"Yeah, dude!" Kyle agreed, nodding towards the bloodied mess on the ground that was Cartman. "Otherwise that could be us next!"

The two best friends exchanged gazes. They were wordlessly reflecting on the lesson they had learnt to be kind and respectful to Butters...

...only to be distracted by it as a truck that was passing by dropped the large wooden crate it was carrying. As soon as it struck the road, it burst open, sending sharp splinters of wood and its load of knives flying...

...straight into Kenny, brutally impaling him as he crumbled to the ground, laying in a pool of his own blood.

"OH MY GOD!" Stan cried. "THEY KILLED KENNY!"

"YOU BASTARDS!" Kyle hollered.

"Screw Kenny, you guys!" Cartman shouted in a pained and obnoxious voice. "He'd dead, I'm still alive here! Help me up and take me home so my mom can wait on me! And you can get some cheesy poofs as well, buttholes!"

Taking no notice of the orders from the beaten-up fat kid, Stan and Kyle walked away from the bus stop, leaving Cartman and Stephen laying where Butters had attacked them with only each other and Kenny's corpse for company.

"Argh!" Cartman cried angrily. "You guys suck!"

The end.
