**That's better.** All were stunned, she had just shapeshifted before them, certainly something they had come to expect from Amons followers, however her light had proven that she was almost an exact opposite to Amon. She almost resembled how Sarah had looked within the Void when Ouros had given her his power during the transition between what they understood now as Samateus' True form and her Protoss one, which she adopted based on her preference for the moment.
Alarak saw this as an opportunity to strike her, a shadow seeming to leap from her shoulder to materialize as a shadowy version of her form, though visibly different, that rose between her and Alarak. It opened four sets of crimson gemfire eyes that focused directly on the Highlord, letting out a low hiss.
**If you do not desist, Alarak, I -will- let Kemet eat you.** She turned, crossing her arms and looking to the shadow that peeled back its lips, revealing a maw different from hers, almost more similar to Xerxes'. Kemet, as the shadow had been named, slowly materialised from the shadow he dwelt in, an extension of Samateus' shadow, obsidian scales swirled with stripes of iridescent crimson that shimmered as light struck them, covered his form, contrasting to the fur that Samateus had sported.
**Pray tell, why you would have a Voidling-** Alarak cut off, ducking away from Kemet who snapped his jaw far too close to him for his liking, letting out a malicious hiss.
**He is not a Voidling, though you may think him such based on his abilities. He too, is touched by Ashtareen. Kemet, it's alright, I believe he knows he's outmatched here.** Samateus held out a hand, beckoning the Dragon to return to her. The moniker she used shared with the Protoss, and by proxy the Terrans via the still active commlink, as Kemet hesitantly glared down at Alarak, then flowed forward, shadow enveloping his form as he flit to land upon her wrist as a trained bird would, in a much smaller version of his larger form.

Samateus then brought her hand close, using her other hand to gently scritch under his chin before he hopped to her shoulder armour instead.
Artanis, amused by not once, but twice, watching Alarak and his rage thwarted by Samateus, and her Shadow, impressive and concerning. Such immense power, to be held by one being? Yes, Karax had confirmed her to be an Avatar of Ashtareen, but could such a goddess exist where Amon had been able to darken entire systems?
**Ashtareen has been, admittedly, absent from this realm a long time. I and a few of my allies have been doing what we can to work around that.** Samateus explained, padding closer cautiously, tail held just off the ground behind her. Kemet pointedly kept his head turned to allow him to watch Alarak warily, the Highlord silently fuming as he followed. She looked to the controls, nodding to Egon who could be seen hiding behind Valerian and Matthew, who had managed to reach Mira and had her involved in the conversation.
"Mattieu! Wait, is that… Kemet?" Mira asked, having stopped Matthew from speaking as her pink hair and robotic right eye were strangely close to the camera, likely as she was trying to make out the form on her screen.
**Mira! Good, I hope you got my message.** Samateus appeared to smile, Kemet chirruping in greeting.
"I… Yes, about, -the thing-?" Mira asked hesitantly, to which Samateus nodded.
**It's alright Mira, I'm here now Officially. Did you manage to build it yet?** Samateus continued, all others watching the two expectantly and each with differing levels of skepticism, concern and confusion. Samateus and Mira Han knew each other? How could that be, if Samateus had only just been able to enter their realm.

"Yes, though not completely. Still need that power core you mentioned."
**Not a problem, I have another ally coming with what I will need. How mobile is it?** Samateus seemed to wave off Miras concerned mention of the power core. Karax wordlessly offered his assistance, Samateus nodding but declining graciously.

"Already set for transport, I can have it to your coordinates in a few minutes." Mira grinned, her accent making it difficult to understand her a few times. Samateus chuckled, nodding.
**I'm not sure where my ally is as yet, but yes come to our coordinates with it, thank you. Yes, I remember our bargain. Not to worry.** Mira then grinned, winked, blew a kiss at Matthew and closed her commlink. All eyes went to Samateus, who simply returned it with a slight shrug. **Apologies, but there are things I need to keep to myself until they are relevant.**
Artanis shook his head, at a loss as not once, but twice, within only a few hours, he was denied an explanation on something that would nag at his thoughts until he gained answers. All the Protoss there, including the three Terrans watching and listening, felt similar, Matthew most of all, as he had no chance to even ask about the woman Samateus had mentioned.
**I've been here a while, to be honest. Mira gave me a place to crash after I arrived, she was the first I encountered a few months ago.** Samateus began, gently asking, wordlessly, if she could openly share memories with those present, and extended to the trio of Terrans. That she could do this, she referenced Xerxes' ability to do the same, so they felt in general less uneasy about doing so.
She showed them a portal, where she hopped through from a realm of almost pure light, armour engaged and active with Kemet stowed away under it in her shadow. At first, she had to figure out where she had ended up, finding a Terran mercenary ship nearby that had just so happened to belong to Mira Han. Samateus hesitantly touched Mira's mind, the Mercenary curious about the creature that had appeared apparently out of thin air.
They spoke briefly, before Samateus asked to come aboard so they could speak more easily. Granted permission to land within the cargo bay of the smaller survey ship, Samateus had then assumed a human form, a young female, short, a bit overweight with long golden-brown hair and brown eyes that would glow golden on occasion. Mira had helped her, using the moniker Jillian, gain some capital within the Dominion society, the two working and living together for a time. Matthew narrowed his eyes, then relaxed, Samateus laughing at his concern as she withdrew her mind from the group.
**She is smitten with you, Matthew Horner, she teases, but she'd never hurt you like that.** Samateus sent to him, the thought only for him, to help ease his concern with how much she and Mira had done together. Samateus then added that Mira had been the one to inform her of any remnants of Amons forces, where she would then go in her True form and dig them out before quickly disappearing to return to Mira. That would be likely where some of the first reports had come from, the one on Haven having had a Hybrid under Amon growing within a Feral Zerg Hive.
**You're certain of this? A Hybrid?** Vorazun asked, a frown wrinkling her brow. Samateus sadly nodded.
**Destroyer type, it was almost fully developed. It seems there must be one of Amon's Generals still in this realm, like Narud.** Samateus explained, seeming to curse the two she had spoken of. Kemet then let out a hiss, a warning, as Samateus briefly looked to him, then to Karax and lastly Artanis. **My allies should be arriving in a moment.** She announced, Karax returning to his control console, Vorazun and Rohana following to the lower level, Alarak cautiously following as Artanis went to the command position, Samateus moving to stand near, yet out of reach of the Hierarch.
Before he could announce the readings, what appeared to be a tear in the space where the Void Thrashers had been before, blinding light appeared to snake out in the form of tendrils from the tear before they contracted and seemed to toss a ship from it. The tear imploded, as though it never existed, the ship slowly appearing to come to life, lighting along its dark hull shimmering in an array of colours. It soon turned, an angular shape, the ship backlit by its engines, illuminating the outline of the ship, which held a similar shape and horn configuration as the image of Ashtareen.
Their technology and design seemed very similar to the armour Samateus had sported in her True form, and while not appearing very large, it moved to a position parallel to the Spear and Hyperion, slowly stopping between the two, almost comparable to an older-model Carrier. Samateus focused on the ship for a moment before she nodded, turning to Artanis.
**There are a few things I need to explain, and I believe that Overqueen Zagara should be included on this, so I'm not explaining multiple times.** Samateus sounded almost tired, Kemet moving to nuzzle her cheek to which she raised a hand to gently stroke his head. Alarak fumed, silently, more and more delays to his returning to his fleet and being gone from all this foolishness making him second-guess his agreement to help Kul in the first place. Artanis, concerned that this ally of hers did not reach out to communicate themselves, nodded, motioning to Karax and then looking to Valerian, who smirked.
"She should be on her way, Egon told Izsha to reach out once we decided to follow the coordinates we received." Valerian admitted, Artanis nodded, all eyes turning to the Leviathan that appeared from Warp just beyond them. Zagara was then added to their commlink, scrutinizing the appearance of the small female Protoss she had never seen before.
**Greetings, Overqueen Zagara. I apologise for appearing in your territory unannounced.** She said, her thoughts calming the ire of the Zerg Overqueen, who appeared to recoil slightly, bowing her head.

**Greetings, I assume you are the one that killed the Thrashers and destroyed their escort?** Zagara seemed unperturbed by the newcomer, though with her eyes and senses the Protoss appeared to have some strange image overlaid over her physical form. Not to mention the strange shadow-creature perched on her shoulder.

**I am. My Name, and you are welcome to shorten it as you please, is Samateus.**
