Callen came to work one day, and saw Hetty was asleep on the couch next to the bullpen.

He was surprised, considering he was usually the one who liked to sleep at work. He thought about trying to wake her up, but then remembered how cranky she got when she was woken up without her okay. So, he decided to leave her be.

When the agents came in, he told them to whisper.

'Can't we just wake her up? What if some official looking dude walks in and sees her sleeping?' Deeks asked, whispering.

'She gets really cranky when she's woken up when she didn't ask for a wake up call, trust me, I know!' Callen replied.

'So, just let her lie there? Where's Granger? Shouldn't HE wake her up?' Sam asked, also whispering.

'She was probably working late last night, or she's sleeping something off. Either way, let's not risk her wrath and just let her rest.' Callen replied.

They all agreed to let her rest. Granger sai he'd keep an eye on her while they were out in the field.

Hetty slept all day.

That evening

'Mmm.' Hetty finally stirred.

'Well hey there, sleeping beauty. I was thinking I was going to have to kiss you to wake you up.' Callen replied.

'Very funny, not.'

'Here's some water, you're probably thirsty.' Callen gave her a water bottle.

'Mmm. Thank you, dear.'

'So, really late night? Or vicious hangover?'

'Groan. I wasn't feeling too good last night, so I took something and decided to rest it off here.' Hetty said.

'You feeling okay? Did you tell Granger?'

'Feeling better then last night, and yes. I texted Owen before I fell asleep.'

'Well, you'll be glad to know that the kids behaved themselves today, no need for Dad to come in and intervene.' Callen said.

Hetty chuckled at his cute reflection of the team.

'Do you need help getting home?'

'You can take me home if you want. And, I appreciate you making sure nobody woke me up.' Hetty said.

'No problem.'
