"Do not use that Jutsu on me." pleaded Itachi as he was lying on the grass, catching his breath. I knelt by him and held his hand as I was trying to amass as much power as possible to perform my Jutsu.

"But I want to. I want you to be alive. To be with me." I placed my hand on his cheek trying to soothe the agony he was experiencing. I finally raised both of my hands and cast my fingers. "I need you."

Monkey, Dragon, Tiger, Ox, and a flicker started from my palms which crawled to my fingers and like a lightning, it struck Itachi's chest. He groaned as he involuntarily held my arm tight. I never let go of my Jutsu, I focused and carried on.

He showed a sudden change of getting better, he was on his way to recovery, he was gaining another life.

My eyes gazed at the sight of my lover. He was not supposed to be like this, he was supposed to be happy, and not to be in pain. Itachi deserved happiness and content, after all he has been through, he deserved to be finally liberated. Yet this Uchiha guy was down again, and it was because of love, again.

I could see the fresh wounds revealed in his forearm. His shirt was ripped and there was a huge cut in his rib. He was badly wounded. He almost had not made it, but while my jutsu was still immature, I refused to wait until his last breath to bring him back. Before a person goes into the portal of demise, I could use my jutsu to prevent that. And I would use it no matter what, because it was Itachi.

I pondered the events that brought him here: The new-alt Akatsuki unleashed it again. A war broke out and fights took place. Itachi was just almost returning from a mission when he was sent off to another due to scarcity of army.

I heard he was alone as he faced the remaining bunch of new-alt Akatsuki.

There were many rumours that the members of Akatsuki were wiped out during the time of Naruto, but still there were rumours that some of the remaining have just teleported into another dimension.

Together with Tokyo's undercover forces, Itachi used a newly improved Minato's teleportation Jutsu to locate the ever changing whereabouts of the new-alt Akatsuki. They have been to Osaka, to Bali, to Phnom Penh, to Chiang Mai, and the battle commenced in Puerto Princesa.

I was trying to contact Itachi because we were supposed to meet that day. His phone was off and his last known location was Fort Santiago. I had to ask a member of the Yamanaka clan to contact Itachi's mind, to be able to locate him exactly. They have revealed to me the fluctuating health of Itachi and that he was going to falter soon. I was able to arrive here on time as I found the war- torn vicinity where Itachi was still lying helpless surrounded by rubble.

I gave my best of chakra to be able to perform this jutsu, this jutsu had to work. I would not be able to accept it if I fail.

I saw how light beams pricked into Itachi continuously that I felt I was becoming weaker. He jerked strongly signalling his recovering health and strength.

As his condition began stabilising I felt the weakness take up on me. I was close to being unconscious. I felt so... terrible... weak... black out.

I slowly opened my eyes and felt his hand on my cheek, "Diwata, you don't have to do this. It makes no sense to bring me back to life... when you're not here." Itachi said in a soft, struggling voice.

I tried my best to finally hold his hand but I was too powerless to do so. He finally closed his eyes, and with a feeling of uncontrollable failing, I too, closed mine.
