POV: Open
The class watched as the explosion engulfed Izumi. Bakugou had a mad grin on his face. Everyone was surprised to see him get sent flying. They watched as Izumi walked out of the smoke with most of the top half of her costume gone and just in a sports bra. They saw burns all over her and most of the skin on her shoulder was gone. What surprised most of them was the skin was knitting itself back together.
"Look at her eyes," Sero said. Most people looked and saw they were red. They even noticed her mouth had fangs.
Izumi knew her secret was out and didn't care anymore. She took one of the thermos of blood from her back pouch and downed it. She knew she had to finish this now.
"Everyone go for the flag! Don't worry about defence," Izumi said, running past Bakugou and web slinging faster than he was running with his explosions. She knew that he would follow her and used this to her advantage. She made it so she was heading in one direction and then turned a corner and went invisible and swung in the opposite direction.
Once Mina and Momo heard Izumi tell them to go they went as fast as they could. Mina used her acid as a slip 'n slide while Momo made a scooter. Kyoka had already figured out where the other team was and went to their base where only Uraraka was. Tsu and Kaminari headed out after they heard the explosions get quieter. Kyoka announced her arrival with a sound blast. Uraraka wasn't expecting this and was caught off guard. While she was disoriented Izumi landed in front of the building and ran in.
"Hey Kyoka," she said. "Sorry," Izumi said looking at Uraraka. She then webbed her to a wall and took the flag.
"Let's go, I'll cover you," Kyoka said.
"Thanks," Izumi said, heading out. She then swung up to the roofs and ran up there while Kyoka stayed on the ground. "We have the flag, take down anyone you come across if you know you can win."
"I'm taking Tsu on now," Mina said.
"I have Kaminari," Momo informed them.
"Um, is that Kirishima I see webbed up on a wall?" Kyoka asked.
"Y-yes. It was the easiest way for me to keep him in place," Izumi said.
"Izumi, ahead of us. I see the bomber," Kyoka said.
"Alright, you take the flag, I'll keep him occupied," Izumi said, swinging down to ground level and stumbling a bit into Kyoka to hand off the flag.
"Damn Deku!" Bakugou yelled as he saw the greenet.
"Well, time for round two," Izumi said. She ran forward and activated the Venom Suit.
"How many fucking quirks do you have?" Bakugou shouted angrily.
"The number is one, but it is special," she said in a very creepy voice. "My quirk lets me gain the powers of heroes that I know will help while I'm under distress," Venom-Izumi said.
"Well then, whose power is this?" he retorted, sending a huge blast at Izumi.
"One of the Spidermen, the single name for a bunch of heroes from America who had similar powers and passed the title down when they retired. There were a total of three of them and this one was from one who was called Venom-Spiderman," Venom-Izumi explained, while dodging and throwing punches of their own.
"What the hell you damn nerd!? I'll still beat you!" He shouted, rocketing up to punch them in the jaw.
"Stop! The team of Fukihara, Yaoyrozu, Jirou, and Ashido have won the exercise," Mrs. Fukihara said. "Everyone return to the viewing room for review. Also, Izumi get Kirishima down," she sighed.
Venom-Izumi jumped to where Kirishima was and grabbed the webs and pulled them off and grabbed him and set him down. She then went back to her normal form and followed everyone they then were told what they did wrong and what they could improve on, Bakugou specifically was told to keep his feelings in check and focus on the mission and not his pride. Izumi was told that she made a good call on webbing Kirishima up but should have not taken on Bakugou without a good plan to either trap him or beat him. They then watched as Todoroki froze his way to the opposite team and just took the flag like that. There was a lot less to talk about for that round and then they were told to change back and get ready for the last period.
Izumi was told to go to the nurses and get her "medicine". They got to the changing room when Kyoka spoke up.
"Hey, Izumi. Do you want me to join you so you aren't going to the nurse alone?" Kyoka asked.
"Um, sure. Thanks Kyoka," Izumi said, fixing her skirt and getting her shoes on.
The two of them headed out and walked next to each other. They walked in and saw a girl who looked very similar to Izumi. She had long dark green hair and green eyes. The main difference was that Izumi's hair was much curlier.
"Um, this is weird," the girl said.
"I can agree," Izumi said, smelling fresh blood on this girl and doing her best to not just drink it. "Um, Recovery Girl. I need my medicine."
"Yes, yes dearie. It's in the fridge, your name is on it," Recovery Girl said.
"So, I'm Setsuna Tokage, from 1-B," the girl said.
"I'm Kyoka Jirou. I'm from 1-A," Kyoka said.
"Izumi Fukihara, 1-A as well," Izumi said, after drinking the blood from the thermos.
"Um, you have some on your mouth," Tokage said.
"Oh! Um, thanks," Izumi said, licking it off.
"Wait, was that blood?" Kyoka asked.
"Um, yeah. One of the quirks I got is a Vampire like quirk that uses my blood to heal my injuries. The downside is my mind basically goes blank and I kinda lose myself in battle, thus me not caring that most of my costume getting blown up. To replenish my blood however I need to drink some," Izumi explained. "Thus the fangs. It's for if I need to drink from someone, but I haven't done that yet and I hope I never do."
"Wow, what is your quirk?" Tokage asked.
"Oh, well it's called Legacy. I can gain the powers of any hero that I know of as long as I know what their powers are. The downside is I have to be either in danger or emotionally under distress," Izumi explained.
"Hey, your eyes are green again," Kyoka said.
"Huh? Oh, yeah. My eyes and teeth go back to normal after I drink enough blood to not be what I would call my feral mode," Izumi said.
"Wow, that's cool," Tokage said.
"Well, you should be good now, both of you are free to go to class now," Recovery Girl said.
"So, what happened to you?" Izumi asked Tokage.
"Oh, we were doing some rescue training and I kinda got trapped under a beam. I got cut and couldn't activate my quirk. The cut was right on my shoulder. So I needed to get it looked at so I didn't get infected or keep it from moving my arm," she said, scratching the back of her head.
"Alright, well here's our class. I hope we see you again," Kyoka said.
"Yeah, you two are pretty cool and I'd love to spend more time with you," Tokage said, walking off.
The two 1-A class members walked in to see that Mr. Aizawa was sleeping while everyone else was talking.
"Why aren't we having class?" Izumi asked.
"Mr. Aizawa said that it was illogical if we kept working too hard and that we needed time to rest," Ilda said.
"That sounds about right," Kyoka said.
"Fukihara!" Kirishima shouted, realising she came back.
"Hey Kirishima, sorry for putting you on the wall like that. It was the best way to keep you out of the way," Izumi said.
"It's alright. I was going to ask, what was that?"
"I was wondering that too," Asui said.
"Oh, well, I figured out that my quirk wasn't quite what I thought it was previously. It turns out that when I am either in danger or emotionally under distress I can gain the powers of a hero that I know of," Izumi explained.
"Wow, that can be overpowered. How do you know this?" Kaminari asked.
"O-Oh, well the webs, invisibility, and Venom suit as I call it is from three heroes in America who all went by the name of Spiderman. I got them while we were at the USJ. Then the one that allowed me to heal was from another American hero I know of. I just have to drink specific medicine to keep my mind sane," Izumi said.
"Oh, so the healing quirk has a drawback. That can be dangerous if you aren't careful," Aizawa said, making everyone jump. "All of you need to work on spacial awareness," he sighed. The bell then rang.
The rest of the week went by with little to nothing happening. The main difference was that Izumi would always sit with Kyoka, Momo, Mina, and they were joined by Tokage. A couple Friday they were joined by two of Tokage's classmates. Yui Kodai and Reiko Yanagi were both excited to meet more people and happy to join them for lunch.
On Saturday was the day everyone was waiting for; the Sports Festival.
Normally they would have the person who got first in the entrance exam gave the speech but Izumi wasn't comfortable with doing it so they had Bakugou do it. Most people didn't appreciate what he said.
Izumi stayed near her friends as the race started. She helped get them out of the ice and then went and took first place. They all made it to the next event and split into two teams. Izumi was with Kyoka and Momo while the other four were a team. Another girl who introduced herself as Mei Hatsume from the support course asked to also join Izumi's team and they all agreed.
They used Mei's equipment and kept themselves in the air for most of the time. They kept getting attacked by Bakugou and Todoroki's teams. Eventually they went after other teams. Mina was the rider for the other group and they kept themselves from getting knocked out of the top teams. A minute before the timer went off Izumi's team had to touchdown. They were immediately swarmed but Izumi kept them back with her webs. Eventually Todoroki's team got close but were kept back because Izumi used Venom Bite to shock Todoroki and she watched as his flames came out but he stopped them right as the timer went off.
After the round was over Todoroki took Izumi to the side and explained to her why he didn't use his flames. Izumi listened to what his father did to him without interrupting.
"Todoroki, you aren't your father, and I am not going to stand by and let you hold back because of him. You are still letting him control your life so take charge of your life and choose what you want to do with your life," Izumi said, walking away. She then met up with her friends and ate lunch with them.
In the first round she fought a Gen. Studies student who could mind control people. She used webs to buffer the sound. She defeated him using just her webs. She watched all her friends win their rounds except for Momo, Tokage, and Kyoka who lost to Bakugou, Todoroki, and Kodai respectively. In the second round she went up against Yanagi and she just used her invisibility and surprise attacked her and pushed her out of the ring. Mina lost to Bakugou and Kodai lost to Todoroki. Izumi was first up in the third round and she was against Todoroki while Ilda was against Bakugou.
"Todoroki, I want you to fight me with all of your power," Izumi said.
"How much is my father paying you?" he responded.
"Nothing. I don't care about him, this is about everyone else giving it their all and you are just using half your power. It's insulting and I won't hold back," she said, getting into a fighting stance.
"I will still beat you," Todoroki replied, lifting his right arm up.
Midnight began the fight and Izumi activated the Venom Suit and charged Todoroki.
"Iron Fist: Venom Smash!" Izumi yelled, activating Iron Force with the Venom Suit tripling the power of the punch from the Venom form and not breaking her bones. Todoroki got sent to the edge and stopped from being out of bounds with his ice. "The only weakness of this form is fire," Izumi said, hoping to draw it out.
"I won't use that bastard's quirk!"
"It's your quirk, take all the power from him and use your quirk!" Izumi yelled.
"Fine, but just know that this is your choice," Todoroki said, activating his flames. Endevor applauded him and called him a creation.
"Shut Up!" Todoroki and Izumi shouted at the same time.
"Venom Suit: Speed Mode," Izumi said, as the Venom Suit shrank and uncovered her head but had a thin layer to keep protected from the ice and flames as she only said that to get him to use his fire.
"Heh, should've guessed you had a plan," Todoroki said.
"Always do," Izumi said, shooting a web at him.
Todoroki burnt the web and sent a torrent of fire at her following up with ice. Izumi jumped over it and kicked Todoroki in the head. She landed and then punched him out of the ring.
"Fukihara wins!" Midnight announced.
"That was not what I was expecting. I thought you said that you were weak against fire in that form," Todoroki said, as Izumi helped him up.
"The thing is, I lied. It actually protects me from the elements," she said.
"And I fell for it. That was very smart Fukihara," Todoroki said.
The two walked off and went to Recovery Girl. All they had were scrapes and so they didn't need much in terms of medical attention. Izumi went to her room and meditated a bit before her last match. She still had one trick up her sleeve but she didn't want to use it yet. She heard the announcement that she was to get to the tunnel. She was introduced and walked through a look of determination on her face. She looked and saw Bakugou had a look that just said that he was pissed.
"I'm going to say this, if I call the match it is done. Do both of you understand?" Midnight asked.
"Tch, sure, whatever," Bakugou said.
"Yes," Izumi said.
"Begin," Midnight yelled, bringing her whip down.
"I'm ending this right now! Howitzer Impact!" Bakugou shouted, sending his biggest explosion at the girl.
"Venom Suit: Speed Mode!" Izumi said, covering her whole body. After the smoke dissipated nothing was there. Everyone looked and they saw that she wasn't even out of the ring.
"That's what the shitty nerd gets for thinking they can stand with me. Should've just jumped like I told them," Bakugou said, turning around and walking to the edge of the ring.
"Katsuki Bakugou is out of bounds! Izumi Fukihara wins!" Midnight announced.
"WHAT?!" Bakugou yelled, turning to see Izumi becoming visible again with a huge grin on her face.
"You forgot that I can go invisible, didn't you?" she asked.
"You bitch! DIE!" Bakugou yelled, launching himself at her. Izumi just webbed him and threw him against the wall behind her knocking him out.
"I guess I won twice," Izumi said, keeping a calm demeanor on the outside while she panicked internally.
Izumi walked to her room where she was told to get ready and broke down. A few minutes later her friends walked in and all enveloped her in a hug.
"I-I did it. I won!" Izumi cried.
"You deserve it girl," Mina said.
Eventually Izumi stopped crying and went out to receive the medal. All Might presented them and Bakugou was notably missing. After everything was done Izumi spent the rest of the time setting up for a girls night out with her friends. Momo couldn't make it, and neither could Kodai or Yanagi.
They chose the day after they had a single class for an announcement. The day came, everyone sat in their seats and waited for the announcement. Aizawa came in the door and explained that they would be having internships with pro heroes. Izumi had the most offers with Todoroki coming after her. Bakugou only got two. Everyone was told that they would participate and could choose from a list of heroes who would take anyone.
"Hey, shitty nerd. I got a request from the number three," Bakugou bragged.
"I-I got o-one from e-everyone in the t-top ten," Izumi said, amazed at the list she had gotten.
"Whoa! Even All Might gave you one. You are extremely lucky Fukihara," Kirishima said.
"I-I'm not sure who I'm going to go with yet," Izumi said, uncomfortable that everyone was closing in on her.
"Well, that's all you need to do for today. Go home and rest for the week, but make your decision by the end of the week. Go," Aizawa said. Izumi took this opportunity to quickly leave and go to the teacher's lounge. Because her parents were teachers they just let her in without questioning it.
"Hey Izumi. What's up?" Midnight asked her daughter.
"Um, we got our lists and I don't know who I want to work with," she said.
"Aw, you don't want to work with me?" Midnight fake pouted.
"You know it's not like that mom," Izumi said, not thinking about it.
"What did you call me?" Midnight asked.
"Um, sorry Midnight," Izumi said.
"Nope, no more of that. Now unless the situation requires it it's mom," Midnight said.
"Alright," Izumi sighed. "Part of me does want to choose you or mom," she said, then a look of confusion crossed her face. "That's going to be weird calling both of you mom."
"It's fine, we can work something out."
"Part of me wants to work with the two of you. But another part of me wants to work with someone else. I know I want to be more of an underground hero but what agency should I work with?" Izumi asked.
"Well, you don't have to spend all your time with a single hero at an agency. I know of one with three amazing heroes, two are underground and the other is in the top three," Midnight said.
"Wait, are you saying that Best Jeanist has two underground pros at his agency?"
"Nope, and I'll give you a tip. You know all three heroes personally," Midnight said with a wink.
"Wait, you and mom work at All Might's agency?" Izumi asked, amazed by this new knowledge.
"Yep, most don't know this because we don't work with him ever. He just let us use his agency because he was very good friends with Nari and didn't want us to be in a bad or low quality agency," Midnight explained.
"So, if I choose All Might's offer, I get to train with all three of you?" Izumi asked.
"Yep," Midnight confirmed. "Why do you think he gave you one with his limit?"
"I didn't think about that," Izumi said. "I guess I know who I am choosing," Izumi said, deciding to intern with All Might.

So, these are going to be longer chapters, just a small announcement. Also, next time we introduce a new character before the internships and an idea I had for after internships. As for the dorms they will happen after the internships and they will be very different. Also, get ready for some Bakugou bashing.
