And we've reached the end of this collection! Thank you all so much for reading! Got 2 more collections coming in October.
'But Nell, I don't want to go on a boat!' Eric complained.
'Come on, you big baby. There's 1 good way to get rid of your fear of boats, and that's to be on one!' Nell replied
'But but, I get motion sickness when I'm on one!'
'Sigh. Look, I've been looking forward to this fishing trip for 2 weeks, and now you're telling me we can't go because of your boat thing? Suck it up Beale! We're going on this trip!'
Eric knew there was no point in trying to argue any further, He was just going to have to suck it up and try not to embarrass Nell.
The day of the trip, Nell sensed Eric's nervousness 2 miles before they reached the dock.
'Hey, it's going to be okay. The weather will be fine, I double checked. Nothing bad is going to happen to us!' Nell said.
'Then why do I already feel like throwing up?' Eric asked, shakily.
'It's probably just nerves. It'll fade once we're out on the water, having fun.'
Eric hoped she was right.
14 minutes later
'You're not mad, right?' Eric asked.
'Who the heck gets motion sickness before they even get on the boat?! I don't get it, you could've just said you didn't want to go on this trip.' Nell replied, slightly annoyed.
'I didn't want to embarrass you! And, I kind of wanted to get over my fear of boats as well. But then I started thinking of everything that could go wrong, and it was too much, I guess.'
'Or you ate a bunch of gross stuff the night before to make yourself feel like throwing up.'
'I didn't do that, I swear!'
'Your breath smelled terrible when I went to pick you up. Any other explanation?' Nell asked.
Eric knew the jig was up.
'Sigh. You're right. I'm a terrible boyfriend, and I wouldn't blame you if you wanted to break up with me now.'
Nell looked stunned by his answer. 'Whoa whoa! No need for the dramatics! 1st off, you're not terrible, 2nd, I'm not breaking up with you, 3rd, I wish you had been honest with me from the start, but we can work on that.'
'Thank you.'
'Now, is there anything else you're afraid of?'
