Ailicec frowned after she approached Repsaj near a pyramid. ''Are you looking after the sphinx again instead of being with your wife?'' she muttered with tears in her eyes. She thought Repsaj's eye widened for a moment. Ailicec viewed Repsaj walking to her. His arms were around her waist.
Ailicec also thought he smiled for a split second.
''I'm afraid so. My sibling ordered me to guard the sphinx for one hour. You're with me this instant,'' Repsaj said.
Ailicec continued to frown.
''I always worry about you when you look after King Kooh's animals. When you protect him from his enemies. I always assume that you're going to be injured or...'' A handful of tears streamed down Ailicec's face.
Repsaj kissed Ailicec on the lips.
The sphinx appeared before it snarled near Ailicec. It usually never viewed Ailicec and thought she was one of its master's enemies.
It crouched and snarled.
Repsaj glowered and removed a whip that had been tied around his waist. He cracked it twice. ''You don't attack my wife!'' he snapped.
The sphinx used its paw to knock Repsaj down. It heard the latter as he cried out from his broken arm. It viewed tears in Ailicec's eyes.
Hours later, Repsaj smiled on his bed while Ailicec remained near it. Although he was injured, he didn't seem to mind.
''You're with me this instant,'' Repsaj said before he kissed his wife another time.
