Chapter 2
Yugi woke up and sat up on his bed and smelled breakfast being cooked. He noticed the smell of burnt bacon and eggs. He got out of his bed and noticed Chris was trying to cook as amber throu away the burnt eggs but keeped the bacon. He took a seat at the kitchen table. " morning you two " He said. He noticed Chris underwood poured three cups of coffee and placed them on the table. He grabbed his cup and took a sip. " bitter and not the best coffee " He thought. He noticed amber place the eggs and bacon on the table. He noticed Chris place individual plates and amber placed the eggs and bacon on them. He took a strip of bacon first. " perfect bacon but Chris the coffee was too bitter " he said noticing Chris then grab the milk from the fridge. " oh sorry " he said adding milk to his coffee.
Chris ate some of the eggs and sighed " I got a text from weevil , he sent you a gift yugi as a thank you for letting me spend the night " He said as Yugi headed downstairs and came back with a box. He kept eating his eggs as Yugi opened the box. He noticed yugi removed a leather cigar case from the box and a note was inside along with some cigars. He ate a piece of bacon as Yugi read the note and was shocked as yugi placed the cigar case in his pajamas pocket. " So Yugi what did the note say " He asked as amber finished eating.
Amber stood up and noticed Yugi dropped the note to the floor. She went and picked up the note. " Yugi thanks for letting my brother spend the night please enjoy these cigars and the free limo ride waiting outside " She read aloud. She face palmed her hand into her face. " that is clearly a trap " She said noticing Chris said it at the same time. She noticed Yugi went to take a shower. She looked to Chris " lets head to class i have an idea for tristian , Joey , and Tea to participate in duelist kingdom " She said grabbing her bag from the guest room. She then took Chris hand after he grabbed his stuff and noticed he left the leather jacket that smells of cigars for Yugi.
Yugi let the water wash over his body and cleaned off the soap. He left the shower and dried off his body. He then left the towel on and changed into his school uniform. He noticed the leather jacket on the couch and put it on and took the cigar case from his pajamas. He headed downsatirs and left the card shop and locked up. He noticed the driver holding open the limo door. He got in and took a seat in the backseat of the limo. He noticed the driver handed him a cigar and offered a light. He placed the cigar in his mouth and nodded. He took a puff as the driver closed the door. He noticed Weevil laughing and holding a camera. He sighed and put out the cigar. " Weevil lets talk " he said aa Weevil moved over to sit near him.
Weevil laughed and placed his arm around yugi. " My brother was samrt to leave you the leather jacket " he said placing the camera in his pocket. " So what do you want to talk about before i tossed your deck overboard later on our way to duelist kingdom if i feel like it later " he said. He noticed Yugi gave a look. He took his arm off Yugi. " anyway i wanted to say thanks for getting my brother to say sorry " he said as the limo was nearing domino high school.
Yugi shrugged his shoulders " your welcome Weevil anyway not sure well just to let you know amber won the right to duel you during the tournament " He said noticing Weevil nodded fine. He sighed and placed his hands on the leather seats. " So weevil why cause problems for Chris friends " he said pointing to the leather jacket " he asked. He sighed as Weevil gave a look of not telling as weevil handed him the camera. He took the camera and got out of the limo as it stopped at his school.
He walked in the classroom and saw a look from Chris , joey , and Tristan. He waited for lunch and was shocked as they dragged him to the roof and he saw amber and tea. " Wait whats going on guys " he said noticing Chris grabbed the camera. He sighed " Chris did Weevil tell you what happened " he asked and was shocked as Chris showed him a text message.
Tea coughed " its simply we all are going to be a part of duelist kingdom " she said holding a duel star. She chuckled as Yugi stepped back and was asking questions. " its simply amber looked up the rules all you need is one duel star to be a part of the tournament, so we can all go Chris gave one of his to me and amber gave one to tristan " She said as Yugi nodded and out one of his duel stars. She crossed her arms noticing the cigar case that fell out of the leather jacket.
Yugi sighed and handed Joey the duel star. " i have a feeling you need to be a part of this tournament to help someone from the look Chris is giving you its a matter of life and death " He said as Tea smelled his breath. He felt a glare and sighed. " Can we please talk about this later Tea " he said picking up the cigar case and placing it in his pocket. " Well we are all part of the tournament " He said .
Chris smilled and chuckled and noticed Tea and Yugi gave him a look. " Sorry its Yugi has a death flag since the cigar case fell out of his pocket. He walked in between Tea and Yugi. " can we leave it at boys are dumb and you not killing Yugi , Tea " he asked as Tea wrote a note. He took the note. " Stay out of it just another dumb boy " he read notcing the death flag was worse on Yugi head now. He sighed " don't blame yugi blame my brother " he said as Tea smiled and the death flag disappeared. Chris relaxed and noticed he and Yugi sighed at the same time.
After school Yugi , Amber , and Chris walked to yugi so chris could grab his card collection. He smiled as Chris and amber made sure they had everything as Tea , Joey , and Tristan joined them. He headed to the bathroom and washed his face. " grandpa i will save you along with amber boyfriend , and Chris friend. He left with the group to the boat to duelist kingdom and showed his one star with Chris , Amber , Joey , Tea , and Tristan. " As You can all six of us are part of this tournament " He said as Security called pegasus.
Pegasus answered his phone and chuckled " So Yugi , Chris , and Amber shared thier duel stars with thier friends I'll allow it and make sure amber has a cabin since she is a chapion duelist " He said hanging up. He took a sip of his glass of wine. " this tournament is getting more interesting " he said watching footage of weevil stealing information of the new rules for the tournament .
Chris was watching as Joey traded for new cards. He noticed Yugi headed off with weevil. He noticed Tristan talking with rex raptor. He noticed amber and tea headed to amber room . He walked around the ship and bumped into someone from thier class. He could not remember the classmates name but saw he had an object like yugi. He rubbed his eyes and then saw the classmate was gone. " Weird " he thought and went to look for his brother room. He found it and opened the door and sighed seeing Yugi and his brother were drunk. He rolled his eyes as his brother was smoking a cigar. He left and ran into tea and amber who were looking for Yugi. " Haven't seen him " he said lying but pointed to Weevil room .
Amber crossed her arms. " your brother got yugi drunk " She asked. She noticed Chris nodded yeah. She took tea hand. " Chris keep an eye on them while i help tea calm down " She said leaving back to her room. She yawned and noticed tea yawned as well. " lets leave that to Chris " She said as Tea sighed and nodded fine.
Meanwhile Chris walked back into weevil room and saw Yugi passed out on the leather couch and Weevil had Yugi duel monster deck in his hand. " pretending to be drunk while smoking a cigar for real " He said as Weevil put the deck down. " Weevil I transfred schools to get away from you so leave my friends alone and i bet yugi told you why we have to win duelist kingdom " He said. He watched as weevil lit a new cigar and took a puff and nodded yes. He took a seat near yugi " good so you promise a fare duel between you and amber because yugi is not your opponent " He said as weevil took a puff of his cigar as the boat docked at duelist kingdom and yugi came to with a headache.
