Phil had been crying over Technoblade's shoulder for what felt like hours. Technoblade isn't good with helping people, especially other people's emotions, so he just lets Phil sob and sob for a while.
After Wilbur died in L'manburg's explosion, the only thing Phil had ever done was mourn for the loss of his son, not even remembering to eat, sleep, or drink water.
Technoblade just wanted him to be happy again, but he's not sure what to do.

After thinking about if Phil could die from chocolate or not, {Thankfully he won't, he's not that much of a bird.} he'd gone to the finest part of town, getting the finest dark chocolate available in the whole country.
The container of the chocolate was a metal container painted red and put into the shape of a heart, a yellow bow in the middle of the heart with a ribbon glued onto the box right under it.
Technoblade handed the older man the box, not knowing what to say, so he stays silent.
Phil had taken the box and set it aside on a table.

Huh. It's almost as if he's been doing that this entire time. But still, Technoblade has nothing else to do so he fulfills their wishes,
Technoblade walks up to Phil who is currently sitting on the couch reading the Song of Ilium.
He sits next to him on the couch and waits.
A few minutes had passed, and now it's time to strike.
He put his arms around the shoulders of the other man, now nuzzling his cheek into his shoulder.
He watched Phil put a bookmark in his book before hugging him back.
Technoblade had climbed onto his lap once Phil set his book aside
And for a second, he swears he saw Phil smile.
An hour or two had passed since he had carried out plan B, and Phil returned to how he usually was.
It seemed to make a difference for a few minutes, Phil had acted less gloomy and such during that time.
Technoblade's surprised it hasn't worked earlier.
Technoblade's desperate now.
So, like usual, he turns to Chat for ideas.

Revive book? This could've been another trick by Chat, but he's desperate so he'll look into it.

Listening in to conversations from other tables, nearby alleyways, hell, even the rooftop, he learns who exactly has it.

Kind of expected.
But that's not important, what matters is how he'll obtain the book from him.
It should be easy, he's in prison so he won't have to track the man down. But it should also be hard, he's in prison, and according to what he knows weapons aren't allowed in.

Breaking him out sounds like a nightmare. The main way in is the entrance, and the technically other way was breaking in from the ceilings or walls.
And don't forget about when Dream is out. He's one of the worst people on the server, committing more crimes than the average person. Which means he's committed more than one crime.
Anything from manipulating children to cold-blooded homicide, he's most likely done it.
But another way is if Dream just, you know, gives it to him if he visits. Or even just tells him via comms, but that seems unlikely.
So, he'll be visiting in the morning after he goes to bed.
Hopefully, it will work tomorrow.
Technoblade wakes in the middle of the night, unknown sirens were going off.
He looked to his right, Phil was still asleep
They didn't sound like anything he'd recognize, such as tornado sirens.
He gets off of his bed and stretches his arms. Technoblade walked over to a window, looking outside to see chaos in the streets.
He could hear people shout in a panic, seeing them run from something, someone.
Technoblade climbed down the ladder, not worried about waking Phil. {If he hasn't woken up already, it's most likely he won't now.}
He grabbed his cloak and strung it over his shoulders, taking a bag along with him. He unlocked the door and hopped on top of Carl, now on his way to find out what's currently going on.
Trotting down the street, he can barely see anything but what might be blood, dead {maybe dead} bodies, and broken glass.
What even happened here?
Eventually, Technoblade had ended up in the forest, the streets of the town too dangerous to walk by.
A cool breeze had blown by, shaking the orange and red leaves off of the trees.
Walking around seems pointless.

Huh, maybe Chat is right about Dream doing this.
But that puts a bigger issue at hand.
Now galloping around the forest, Technoblade chugs a night vision potion and begins to scout out the area.
He could see some people in full netherite armor holding lanterns and their swords, doing the same job he was.
Technoblade checks the current time, 2:08 AM. He should just go back and give up.
But, the sound of nearby explosions breaks the silence, and so he goes over to where he had heard it.
Standing by the crater of where a bench used to be was Dream, him holding a lit torch.
When Dream spots Technoblade, he throws what Technoblade assumes to be a potion of speed, and starts making a run for it.
With nothing else to do, the other man starts chasing after him.
It was quite easy to catch up to him despite not also having a speed potion, as Carl is one of the best horses in the continent, in fact, he most likely is the best horse in the continent.
Dream notices he's at a disadvantage here, so he pulls an ender pearl out of his bag and throws it, escaping the forest and to the mountains.
Technoblade doesn't follow after. He doesn't need to or want to, so he starts on his way back to his house
Back in the town, it seems that it's already recovering. Health potions are being thrown aimlessly into the crowds of injured people, and buildings are being rebuilt already.
Technoblade hands one of the people rebuilding some stray cobblestone that had been felt in his bag before entering his house again.
He'd need to change his outfit and clean his hooves, as they'd been covered in soot and blood.
He puts his bag back on the coat rack where it had been left earlier, thankfully it hasn't been covered in blood.
