Previously-
"I love you Jase." Then looking at Tommy and feeling the tears prick at the corner of my eyes.
"I have always loved you Tommy. You're my home." I said, and then released my grip on their hands.
His eyes widened with recognition.
"Kim, NO!"
Now- Tommy POV-
As soon as she said those nine words I knew that the letter had been coerced. I watched helplessly, hand still outstretched, as the woman I still loved with my whole heart, fell back into the pit. I chanced a glace at Jase and saw the same fear, that was like a vice around my heart, reflected in his eyes. I looked back, and saw that Kim's descent had been slowed by the slow formation of Maligore's body. As he formed his hold on Kim, once a sphere of red and orange lava, formed into a claw as he ascended from the depths. Jason and I quickly jumped away as the temple gave another violent shake, and the other Rangers quickly took up flanking positions around us. Maligore stepped out of the pit, holding tightly to Kimberly's arm. Everyone stood there for a moment, and it seemed as if no one even released a breath. The only sound that could be heard was the sounds of Kim trying to break his hold and get free.
I stood there wracking my head, trying to figure out how to get him to release Kim without harming her.
"I think it's time to break out the hardware!" Justin called, and I hesitated for a split second, before nodded.
"Yeah, good call Justin, just be careful of Kim." I knew I didn't need to say it, but I couldn't help myself. Once our weapons appeared we all took aim.
"Ready, Fire." Right as we began to unleash a tirade of fire on Maligore Kim kicked out at where I would assume his knee would be, and the combination seemed to work as his grip on her arm evaporated almost immediately. She fell in a heap at his feet, Covering her head with her arms.
"It's not working." Kat hollered at me, as we withdrew from out stances.
Whoa! What a hothead!" I said, looking between my weapon, and Maligore. Kim removed her arms from her head, and when she saw that we were no longer firing she hastily tried to get up. I took a step to help her when more Pirahnatrons popped inti my line of sight. I fought to the best of my ability when my attention was somewhere else. Kin tried to run for the cage to, what I could only assume was to help Lerigot and his family, but she didn't make it far before she was grabbed by Divatox, who I hadn't even seen slither up to Kim. Divatox grabbed Kim by the throat, and cackled, before saying.
"I don't think so, Pinky! My new husband wants to see you again." She said, and pushed Kim toward Maligore, Kim took a few staggered steps to regain her balance before dropping into her fighting stance. Kim threw a few moved before the henchman who looked like a broken snow globe grabbed her, and wrenched her arm behind her back, and when Kim tried to fight with the other did the same thing. They walked toward Maligore who was standing by the edge of the pit in the same spot he had emerged from before.
Kim POV-
As snow globe man dragged me toward Maligore, I struggled, trying to break his grip on my wrists. I felt my hand slip partially, when I felt the restraint on my wrist loosen, at the same time a larger pressure clamped around my throat. My hands immediately came to the claw around my throat and started trying to pry it away. He lifted me up to be eye level with him, and then everything went red.
Tommy POV-
Once we finished the Pirahnatrons my eyes immediately began scanning for Kim, and when I found her, my heart stopped.
"What is he doing to her?" Kat asked, her voice filled with worry for her friend. I couldn't answer, because I had no idea what was happening. Maligore's and Kim's eye were connected with a beam f light, and Kim's arms were dangling limply at her sides. I wanted to help her, but without knowing what it wasn't doing I didn't want to make it worse. Justin, who didn't understand how it could go wrong, began charging at the two.
"Justin! Wait…" I was too late, as he had already barreled into the two, and as he did, I could see Kim's head whip back, before she landed in a crumpled heap, unmoving.
A/N: I'm sorry for not updating in a while. I have been so busy with work, and College. Not to mention it has been a very rough couple of months. I am going to start trying to update more regularly, but it all depends on how much homework I have.
