On the way to the empress's home they pass many students and Wei comes to a realization.

"I have a question." He says, walking behind Chiaia and Lashara.

"What is it?" Chiaia asks disinterested.

"Well, it's just I've only seen that one guy here so far, everyone else was a girl is a male piloting a mechanoid unusual?" Wei asks.

"Not neccesarily unusual but rare. Which is why male mechamasters are often forced into a well-chosen marriage to produce strong offspring which can pilot mechamasters. Or they are used to father many children to increase hopes of a strong child and possibly a male one as well." Lashara informs him while Chiaia looks back to him out of the corner of her eyes, seeing no sign of shock or surprise on him.

"I see. Did you choose what to do with me yet in that regard?" He asks.

"I did not." Lashara answers.

"I have to say I'm glad you take the news to well. I heard of cases where many would be shocked or angry at this viewpoint." Chiaia says.

"Marrying for alliances or power is a usual occurence where I come from. It's not much different." Wei says.

"Why do you need strong mechamasters anyways though? Wouldn't it be easier to go for quantity over quality?" Wei questions.

"Mechamorphs are limited in number and controlled by the holy land. So you can't increase the numbers your country is allowed to have meaning you have to choose quality." Chiaia explains.

"Enough of that. We're here. This will be our home Wei." Lashara says, approaching a large house in front of a forest.

"Oh they are already here." Chiaia says excited, seeing two fancy containers standing near the entry.

"Yes, we should get in a last fitting lady Chiaia." The head maid says.

"That sounds good. Vanessa, why don't you show Wei to his room." Lashara agrees, the pink haired maid being quick to lead the muscular man away.

"This is your room. If you need anything let me or Angela know." The pink haired maid says, opening the door for him and brushes over his shoulders once he entered, caressing his cheek afterwards while leaning into his back and whispers, "my room is two doors that way." Pushing his head to his left and nibbles on the ear facing her.

"Feel free to drop by whenever you want." She tells him seductively before letting to of him and leaves, Wei watching her leave curiously and sees her wink at him with a sexy smile on her lips while closing the door to his room.

"I like those two." Wei says chuckling and looks around, spotting his weapon and mask lying on a table neatly with a card on them.

'I took the liberty to clean them. Angela.' He reads with a lip print visible on the note from the brunette's lipstick.

Wei lies down for a bit until he hears noises from the forest behind Lashara's house and grows worried slipping out of his room to check it out, finding out that the noises were caused by Koros.

"What's wrong?" He asks when the Koros run away quickly and he follows the little creatures reminding him of chipmunks.

"I see. You were meeting your friends." Wei says 10 minutes later, watching the Koros join another group of Koros next to a pond.

"This place is peaceful." Wei says, sitting down and relaxing at the pond.

"What are you doing here. The forest is restricted. You have no right to be here." One of two guards says, coming into the clearing he's at, the two reminding him of Aura with their brown skin color and long ears.

"I'm sorry. I didn't know." He replies, getting up.

"Fine then leave now!" The other warns him, both getting ready to attack while pulling out a small dagger each.

"Are you friends of Aura?" Wei asks, not intimidated by the two.

"How dare you address our princess with familiarity. You will pay for your misdeeds." The guards yell and dash at Wei, slashing at him from both sides, only for him to catch both wrists and twists them, making them drop their weapons while he pulls one of the two downwards, making him stumble and land on the floor face down while he pulls the other in a chokehold, stepping onto the downed dark elf.

"What are you two shouting about now?" Aura asks, annoyed with her servant's behavior and steps into the clearing, spotting the muscular man who has been on her mind all day having both her servants under his control.

"Wei. It's good to see you again. I'm sorry about my servants, they get overzealous sometimes. What did you two do this time?" Aura says, walking over to the three wearing her usual green and reddish-brown dress.

"He is invading your territory and he didn't show respect to you princess." The one under Wei's foot says, both disappointed their princess saw them get taken out with no problem.

"I didn't know this is your home. My apologies Aura." Wei says, releasing both men before slighty bowing to the beautiful princess.

"It's fine. You can come here whenever you wish, it's the least I owe you for saving my life." Aura says blushing cutely, her ears wiggling nervously, making both servants stare at their princess shocked.

"Thank you, princess, although you have saved mine as well." Wei says, nodding in thanks.

"Please, call me Aura." She replies smiling kindly.

"You two can head back. Wei is a friend." Aura tells her servants, while Wei offers their weapons back to the two men.

"So, what brings you here?" Aura asks Wei, sitting down in front of the pond with him joining her.

"I followed the, what are they called? Koros?" Wei says thinking about the name for a moment, pointing at the creatures sitting on a tree while munching nuts.

"I see. They really seem to like you." Aura says.

"Am I that unlikeable for it to surprise you so much?" He asks chuckling.

"No, no, not at all. It's just Koros are very cautious and frighten easily." Aura explains apologetically.

"You know, you aren't like the princesses I know." Wei says smiling at her.

"What do you mean?" She asks confused.

"You're easy to talk to and don't think better of yourself or at least you don't seem like you do." He explains.

"Thank you." She says, her cheeks and ears flushing red.

"So this forest is yours? Isn't that a bit odd?" Wei asks interested, looking at the grey-haired beauty.

"I'm princess of the dark elves. My people requested that our living arrangements in the holy place are the same as back home." Aura tells him.

"I see. You have to show me your home sometime then. I haven't met anyone living in a forest before. I imagine it's very peaceful and relaxing." Wei says, getting up and offers her his hand, helping her up as well.

"It can be. If you don't have servants causing a ruckuss at every little incident." She tells him laughing a bit.

"I apologize if my arrival caused problems." Wei says, lowering his head respectfully.

"It's fine. You can come by whenever you want." Aura tells him, squeezing his arm softly in support, relishing the feeling of his muscle packed arm in silence.

"You are very kind." He says, kissing the back of her hand in respect before starting to head out of the forest, on the way to Lashara's home he looks at the other large mansion like house on the path to her house and sees the white haired beauty from the principal's office picking some flowers.

"I hope you didn't get in trouble with empress Lashara's cousin for helping me out earlier." Wei says, surprising Yukine who wasn't aware of his presence beforehand.

"Oh-uh. N-no it was no problem." Yukine answers quietly.

"That's a relief. I was worried you had gotten into trouble because of me." He says, stepping into the garden and offers her a hand which she gladly accepts, Wei helping her up.

"What's your name? I don't think we've been introduced properly." He asks.

"Yukine." She stammers nervously, looking at him holding her hand with a blush spreading on her cheeks.

"I'm Wei Yan, nice to meet you and thanks again for earlier." He says, squeezing her hand gently, looking in her eyes before turning go leave.

"Did you really like mine the best?" She squeaks out nervously before he disappears from the small garden area.

"I have never told a lie, it goes against my honor code." He replies with a smirk before waving her goodbye and heading to Lashara's home.
