1 PIECE another time travel

"Mama! The paper!" Daifuku, the tattle tale that he was, immediately ran to show his mother the news paper as soon as the story broke with the picture of Amande and Galette with Luffy along with a few others.

"What about it?" Big Mom asked grunting slightly as she ate one of her treats.

"It's Amande! Amande and…and Galette!" Daifuku said and he immediately had everyone's attention at the name he used. Galette? But she had been…she was…

"Galette is dead." Big Mom grunted uncaringly.

"She's in the paper! She's alive and apparently married!" Big Mom's Haki swamped out knocking out a few of her kids and most of the servants.

"What." It wasn't a question and Daifuku felt a brief drop of sweat fall down the back of his neck at his mothers beady red eyes focusing on him.

"L-Look see! She's in the paper! She has scarring from the explosion likely but she's still alive! And-And the newspaper says that she's married to the captain of a rookie who hasn't even been on the seas for a year!" Daifuku said holding it out for his mother and hoping he wasn't struck down in her rage. Out of the corner of his eye he noticed Smoothie starting to usher their siblings from the room as a safety measure just in case.

Big Mom took the newspaper and stared at it, her eyes focusing on Amande and Galette.

"Someone call Morgans. I want this news verified immediately. If she knew she was being targeted by someone strong then I have no doubt she'd fake her death and flee until she could hunt down her would be killer herself or maybe she was just being a scared crybaby. But for her to be scarred like this and married to a rookie no less…" Big Mom trailed off trembling in rage, Daifuku barely had time to register what was happening before Brulee formed a mirror underneath his feet and sucked him into the mirro-world where the rest of the elder siblings who had been in the room still were also located.

Just in time for Big Mom to let out a Haki infused scream that shattered the mirrors and would have probably incapacitated them if not blown out their eardrums.

"If she knew someone was going to try and kill her though then why not tell us? Why not stay here where we can protect her?" Oven asked looking confused and betrayed and angry.

"Like we did from the bombs?" Brulee asked him coldly with her eyes haunted, recalling seeing her little sister die right in front of her. Or of seeing a very convincing death being staged at least.

"She might have planned for that…how else could she have survived?" Daifuku asked with a dark face as he recalled feeling like she was a weakling for dying in a simple cowardly bombing.

"How would she have done that? Her Haki was gone! And Katakuri-nii-chan didn't see her being alive with his Observation Haki. No my best guess is that she was actually dead when we saw that but somehow someway, the person who took her body most likely, she was brought back and most of the damage was healed…I mean we all saw what she looked like when the dush settled…" Smoothie said shaking her head but taking in a deep breath. The sight of her badly burnt sister's body was forever ingrained in her mind, the way her right eye was nearly destroyed completely, the way her ear was just gone, the way her skin was black and blistered and bleeding from the burns of the explosion…

The scream when she was swallowed by the blasts, the way blood dribbled from her mouth as she rasped out her dying words, the way moving her mouth just a little had broken open the blisters near her lips…the way her badly burnt chest heaved with every agonizing breath she took.

Smoothie would never forget that and she had a feeling that the siblings that had been there that day wouldn't either.

"No…there was no way that was faked. The person who took her body healed her somehow and brought her back, the only thing they couldn't heal seems to be the scar that was on her face and possibly her ear and eye as well, her hair would cover her ears in the photo and I didn't get a chance to see her eyes in it before Daifuku told Mama." Smoothie said after a moment of tense silence amongst the siblings as the ones there all pictured the scene in their minds.

"That could be why she's in Paradise…whoever took her figured that if she escaped or something she'd come right back and let us know what happened so they took her to Paradise to put a lot of distance between her and us. I wouldn't be surprised if a after she got free a rookie crew had landed on an island she was being kept on or had boarded the ship she was on, didn't know what was going on or who she was and she ended up talking them into taking her along to somewhere she can get to us if not bring her all the way back here." Compote said and a few of the siblings nodded their heads in agreement.

"So I guess she either wanted to thank them by trying to get them to serve under Mama when they get here if they make it that far or the Captain forced her to marry him as 'payment' for rescuing her and bringing her to at least the next big Island if not the New World. But I don't see Amande standing by idly while her…sister is forced to marry someone she doesn't like. Not with the way she reacted to Galette's…" Perospero trailed off as he looked around at the others curious as to what Amande had to do with all this.

"Well from what little of the paper I was able to actually read it says that the rookie and his crew had taken out the Warlord Crocodile less than a minute before the picture was snapped and that Demon Lady Amande was seen arriving in the area less than ten minutes before the fighting broke out. Maybe she didn't know what was going on at the time and didn't know about Galette's marriage until after the fighting was over and the newspaper was sent out? She's probably already killed the little punk if she doesn't see him being good for Galette or being worthy of a Charlotte." Cinnamon said crossing her arms under her chest as she thought about it as well and that explanation did seem most likely.

"Yeah but then what was the Vinsmoke Daughter doing there?" Citron asked and Cinnamon shrugged.

"Maybe the Warlord did something to piss the Vinsmokes off and she was sent to dispatch him and decided to let some rookies do most of the dirty work for her? Or at least handle all of the small fry that wasn't worth her time?" It was Broye who offered that suggestion and the others nodded slightly, that did seem to be the most likely scenario.

"But then what about Kaido's kid Yamato? Why was he there?" Brulee asked sticking with the pronoun that was most used to refer to Yamato that she knew of.

"Wait he was?" Custard asked looking surprised and confused.

"The tall person with the horns and kimono and had a mask on the side of their head? That's Kaido's only child Yamato. But last I heard Yamato was killed by Donflamingo for refusing his advances." Perospero spoke up here and Daifuku snarled.

"The two of them probably planned to fake their deaths so they sent each other those bombs and just sent us and Kaido's forces on a wild goose chase." Daifuku snarled and his siblings sighed. Daifuku and his conspiracy theories, some of them were interesting but when he came up with a new one over any thing he could at least twice a day? They got old really fast.

So the others promptly ignored his theory.

"That was almost two or three full weeks before Galette and Piore's birthday party. While it is likely that someone would be more than happy to take out the children of a Yonko to prove that the Yonko's aren't infallible…the fact that the bombings were so close together is a bit suspicious." Smoothie said humming in thought.

"The Nakama killer Teach formerly of the Whitebeard Pirates…" Piore said quietly, making most of them jump since they had forgotten she was there. She had been very quiet since the birthday party incident and no one could blame her…but with how unbothered she seemed to be about how her sister was apparently brought back from the dead…they weren't sure if she was in shock and not processing it truly right now or what.

"What about the bastard?" Perospero asked looking at his little sister who looked up at them with blank eyes, yeah she was definitely either in shock or half disassociating right now.

"He was crafty enough to be a Whitebeard for years before making his move and killing one of Whitebeards 'sons' over a Devil Fruit. Who's to say he wouldn't be crafty enough to fake a note and get Donflamingo in trouble with Kaido to weaken Kaido himself? He already did his best to kill Galette, has killed her once, so that's three of the four Yonko's now that he's attacked in some way or who's crew he targeted." Piore said and the older siblings all paused as they looked at each other wide eyed, realizing that she had a point even as she zoned out some more.

"Whitebeard, Kaido, Mama…and it's said that he's the one who gave Shanks his facial scars. He's already attacked all four of the Yonko at least once in one way or another. Killed one of the Whitebeards sons for a Devil Fruit that's undoubtedly powerful, not just that but he was with Whitebeard for years infiltrating them and learning any weaknesses he can use against them. He also took out one of their Commanders, one of their strongest… Then he goes after Galette who was starting to get even stronger and training even more recently so he wanted to deprive Mama of one of her daughters, and therefore of a potential marriage to make her crew stronger, as well as taking away a future enemy. Killing Kaido's child and blaming it on Donflamingo to get Kaido to possibly kill his dog…that weakens Kaido, his hold on Dressarosa, and deprives him of his heir and a no-doubt strong fighter as well as taking away Donflamingo's entire crew and possibly a Warlord. And he attacks Shanks and visibly damages him which takes away some of Shanks reputation and possibly humiliates Shanks…" Brulee went over each piece with wide eyes as she stared at her siblings.

"He's systematically weaking each of the Yonko and possibly the Warlords as well if he goes after anyone aside from Donflamingo…but then why sign his note to Galette as being from 'the black sheep of the Whitebeards'? That'll set us right on his trail when Red Hair is already pissed with him as is Whitebeard. Why not use a scapegoat like he did with Kaido?" Oven asked and he didn't like all this shadow sneaky stuff, it wasn't his style. He just ran roughshod over those who opposed them, not raged a silent war or bothered attacking the weaklings underneath the strong ones.

"I can think of two maybe three different reasons he would do that." Perospero said grimacing while Compote, Katakuri, and Brulee nodded their agreements.

"One would be he figures that we wouldn't care if he betrayed Whitebeard and thus would just attack them all together which would set off a war between Yonko and greatly weaken at least one side while the other is completely destroyed…" Compote said and the others grimaced at the thought of a war with Whitebeard.

Most of them were Devil Fruit users…if they didn't have some way to keep be from being knocked into the sea then they'd be dead. Sure they'd have more warriors but all of Whitebeards kids were quality. Which meant the basic Chess Peacekeepers would stand no chance whatsoever against them and the Commanders were nothing to sneeze at or underestimate. They'd lose a good chunk of their army and their siblings in a war like that, and the few who met the man before and knew he wasn't scared of their mother knew that it would honestly be a bit of a toss up on who won that fight.

"Two would be that he knows someone would track him down and try to end him and that's what he would want, either hoping a lot of us to go so that he and whatever crew he has could attack one of our islands…" Brulee looked at her twin who grimaced as well as she pieced it together.

"Or to lure us into traps that he's setting up by using our siblings and their fates as bait and lures for the others if we go in small forces at a time." Broye finished making the others wince at the thought or grimace.

"The third reason he'd let us know it was him…" Katakuri said and everyone saw the way his hands clenched into fists.

"Is if he doesn't see us as a threat. He saw Kaido as a threat and thus weakened him and hid himself from the dragon. He couldn't hide what he had done from Whitebeard or Shanks which is why he's hiding from them. But he doesn't even see us as a threat." Katakuri growled out and each of the siblings all scowled and growled as well.

That bastard was looking down on them?! Didn't see them as a threat?!

"I'm going to get ahold of Kaido's crew somehow and share this news with them. Teach wants to try and make us destroy each other or wants to start a war between the Yonko? Fine he'll get a war, one where it's him against all of the Yonko." Brulee growled darkly. That bastard was looking down on them and playing them all for fools.

Well she wouldn't have it. He had taken one of her little sisters from her. She would never forgive him for that and like fuck was she going to let him get away with it.

Teach had no clue what kraken he had unleashed with his ploys.
