1 PIECE another time travel

After that chaos was over, which included but was not limited to Yamato turning into his zoan form and sniffing Galette before carting both of his wives to the doctor to have the pregnancy confirmed or denied for them both, Usopp spouting a tale about how he had helped raise five orphans into adulthood, Brook letting out a loud laugh and playing a lullaby on his violin, Jimbei and Robin doing their best to restrain Amande without hurting her too much, Sanji curling up in fetal position crying over 'a beautiful young maiden being defiled', Zoro immediately going full guard dog mode over his queens and the possible unborn baby and thus tagging along with Yamato just in case, and Amande attempting to decapitate or neuter Luffy until she was restrained.
Luffy for his part had ignored the attempt on his life and manhood from his mother-in-law and raced after his spouses to hear what the doctor might say, Vivi showing him the way since she was sure she'd have to use her status as princess to get the doctor to co-operate with the pirates.
But after that chaos was over Galette had been tested by the royal doctor and they were now awaiting the results.
"Well. It seems like congratulations are in order." The doctor said after he finished running the tests on Galette who was waiting with her family. The doctor looked up from the test results and paused, looking a bit nervous at the sight of the entire crew assembled at the moment being there staring at him waiting for the diagnosis of both Galette and Reiju. The Poison Queen getting tested as well just to be on the safe side.
"Well?" Galette demanded glaring at the doctor who sweated a little under the weight of the crew, and his princess's, stares as they waited for him to finish speaking.
"While Lady Reiju is not pregnant at this time-"
"I give it two months max if they go at it like they were for the last few nights." Usopp said with a small snort and earning blushes from the two women while Luffy just grinned at that.
"No bet!" The rest of the crew said immediately, even Vivi, with small snorts or snickers of their own.
"It seems as if Lady Galette is with child, roughly about five or six days along-" The doctor was cut off again by Amande lunging forward to try and kill the one responsible for knocking up her daughter. She was immediately restrained by the dozens of arms Robin bloomed in the blink of an eye.
"Oh for the love of- Mom stop trying to kill my husband! I thought you said you didn't mind the thought of having a grandkid!" Galette said giving her mother a disbelieving look while Amande stilled from where she was struggling against the restraining arms and looked at Luffy with narrowed eyes before her face softened as she looked at her daughter.
"I certainly don't mind becoming a grandmother as long as you're happy about this and it's what you want dear…but I thought I said not anytime soon!" Amande said and Galette paused then shrugged.
"Well shit happens." Galette said and the rest of the crew nodded solemnly in agreement. They were all far too used to shit happening.
"And of course I'm happy! There's going to be a little prince or princess running around!" Galette said as she beamed at her husbands and wife who were pulling her into their arms and cuddling her, each one taking turns pressing kisses to her face or her stomach and babbling happily about this or that.
"Good. You three. Keep my daughter and grandchild happy and safe or I'm going to eviscerate you before you even know what you did wrong." Amande said glaring at her daughters spouses who all nodded their heads at this.
"We never planned to do anything else!" Yamato assured the protective mother as he cuddled his pregnant wife, one hand over the smaller womans belly as Reiju was kissing their wife's face and Luffy was kissing her stomach promising to teach the baby all sorts of cool things and not making it fight the tigers or anything like he had to do.
"And don't worry! I won't let my gramps anywhere near you so you won't be thrown into the ravine or the dark woods or anything like that! You'll get to pick what you want to be no matter what it is!" Luffy promised the unborn baby and Amande's head snapped to him alone at that. Thrown into a ravine and a dark forest? By his grandfather?
"Straw Hat. Your grandfather abused you?" Amande asked without hesitation or the slightest bit of tact as she stared at the young man who tilted his head to the side.
"Yes!" The rest of his crew, and his spouses, all chimed in unison immediately.
"To be fair most of the crew was abused in some way…only a small portion of us by our family and the rest by the environment or other people around them." Nami said with a grimace as she thought about it.
She had been abused by Arlong and his crew after seeing her mother be killed right in front of her. Brook had been mentally and emotionally bused in the Floridian Triangle for several decades, and not to mention he had actually died there so that was a whole thing too. Robin had been neglected and abused by her aunt and uncle and abused by the other kids on the island because of the Devil Fruit she had eaten by accident not to mention all of the abuse that comes with growing up on the run from the law for something she didn't even do. Jimbei had been abused just for being a fishman and had even been a slave to the nobles like she had been a slave to Arlong. Franky had been seen as a joke or nutjob or delinquent for most of his life and treated like one ever since Tom was killed. Sanji had been abused by his siblings and father aside from Reiju as a child before he was found and taken in by Zeff. Reiju had been conditioned to be perfect by her father from infanthood and also been emotionally, mentally, and even physically abused by her father when she was little even though her brothers didn't join in since she was stronger than them. Galette had been emotionally and mentally abused by some of her 'siblings' who turned out to be her aunts and uncles and also by her grandmother who had pretended to be her mother for most of her life. Zoro was an orphan and no one really knew much about his childhood but he showed some of the same signs the rest of them did so there was something in his past aside from the death of his best friend. Chopper had been abused and neglected by other reindeer and humans alike. Usopp had been loved by his mother but she died when he was little and his reputation as a liar had caused him to be neglected or at least mentally and emotionally abused by the rest of the towns people. Yamato had been abused by his father his entire life as well and like Luffy had thought it was normal until they were shown and told otherwise by the rest of the crew.
And Luffy had been abused and neglected by his grandfather for most of his life under the guise of the older man 'training' him to become a marine.
Even the 'non-official' members of the crew like Vivi, Rebecca, and Viola and Carrot and god not to mention the Grand Fleet, all had some form of abuse or neglect in their past that shaped them to be who they were today and who they will be in the future.
"Battered kids club for the win." Usopp said dead serious and raising his hand a little, the rest of the crew huffing out a laugh as they raised their hands in agreement.
"What the fuck…" Amande stared at them in disbelief and horror as they all agreed with Usopp.
"I wonder if we could rename the crew from Straw Hat Pirates to Battered Kids Club." Robin wondered about that, thinking about how the rest of the world would be greatly uncomfortable coming to the realization that each member of the Straw Hats were beaten, abused, or neglected in some way that led to them becoming pirates.
Kind of a 'society made us into these monsters you fear' thing. That ought to really screw with the civilians and marines.
"We're not renaming the crew the Battered Kids Club." Luffy said immediately and making Robin pout a bit.
"That can be our tagline. Straw Hat Pirates, the crew of battered kids who found a place to be safe and belong." Luffy finished making Robin light up. Oh god if that was in the newpaper it would make so many people uncomfortable and awkward!
"Why are you all like this?" Amande asked in disbelief as she stared at them, and at the completely unsurprised looking Vivi.
Said princess gave her a bright smile and a response in a very cheery voice that didn't suit the words she said.
"It's the trauma!"
Fuck it Amande was going to adopt all of them.
