Avengers Civil War

When a tragic incident during a battle occurs, the Superhuman Registration Act is passed, forcing the Avengers and all other superhumans to follow the government and work for a higher authority. Iron Man sees the need for accountability but Cap thinks the heroes should be trusted to make their own decisions, not follow someone else's orders. Who will win? Team Iron Man or Team Cap?

2. Chapter 2

Ch 2

Spider-Man chased after Crossbones' truck using swinging and web zips to get close, along with having to dodge the occasional shots fired from the rocket launcher. After a very, very long chase, Spider-Man finally climbed onto the truck. Crossbones' men climbed onto the roof of the truck but Spider-Man pummeled them down as more came in with guns and rocket launchers. Spider-Man quickly took them out with punches, kicks, and some Impact Webs and Concussive Blasts. Then Crossbones himself came in.

"Really? They sent the Webhead?" Crossbones taunted. "The other Avengers are tough but you're going to be an easy picking for me."
"Don't count on it." Spider-Man replied.

Crossbones turned on his force-multiplier gauntlets and tried to punch Spider-Man but the hero blocked or dodged each swing before knocking Crossbones off his feet with a sweeping kick. Crossbones got back up and kept battering Spider-Man but he chose his moment carefully and swing-kicked him down. Crossbones somehow didn't get knocked off the truck and deployed retractable blades from his gauntlet.

"Retractable blades! Awesome!" Spider-Man said. "Where can I get one of those?"

Spider-Man kept dodging Crossbones' blades until he whacked him down with his suit's Iron Arms. Finally, Spider-Man climbed toward the driver's seat and tossed out the two thugs in there before he swung in front of the car and stopped it from crashing into a crowd of people with his superstrength. Once the truck stopped, Spider-Man swung back onto it's roof and webbed Crossbones to it before he began his interrogation.

"Why did you want the bomb?" Spider-Man asked.

"I was just gonna sell it to some friends I have." Crossbones said. "Make some dough. And if you see my buddy Cap, tell him I have some news."
"What do you mean?" Spider-Man asked.

"His buddy. Bucky. He remembers him. I was there. He got all weepy about it."
Spider-Man realized that Crossbones was referring to Winter Soldier, who was once Cap's best friend.

"He said to me, 'Please tell Rogers...when you gotta go, you gotta go!'".

Crossbones then turned on an explosive in his vest with a remote but to Spider-Man's surprise, he didn't die. He looked around and saw Scarlet Witch freezing the fireball with her powers.

"I can't hold it!" she said, straining from the effort. Then she released the explosion and it continued it's detonation, ripping through a nearby hotel.

"Oh my god." Spider-Man whispered. Then he called Cap. "Steve, we need fire and rescue! At the south side of the building, now! Someone get an ambulance."
