Avengers Civil War

When a tragic incident during a battle occurs, the Superhuman Registration Act is passed, forcing the Avengers and all other superhumans to follow the government and work for a higher authority. Iron Man sees the need for accountability but Cap thinks the heroes should be trusted to make their own decisions, not follow someone else's orders. Who will win? Team Iron Man or Team Cap?

8. Chapter 8

Ch 8

Outside the Hydra building, Iron Man's Team was still fighting Cap's Team and Spider-Man had command of Iron Man's Team since Iron Man was gone. Then everyone looked out at the army of Winter Soldiers charging at them, led by Bucky Barnes, who was brainwashed by Zemo. Spider-Man sighed.

"Alright, we'll split up. One half of the team fights the Winter Soldiers. The rest of you fight Cap's Team." Spider-Man said. "For the Avengers!"

War Machine fired a barrage of missiles, taking out several Winter Soldiers in huge explosions. Vision and Thor fired their energy beams and lightning bolts. On the other half of Iron Man's Team, Quicksilver rammed down a dozen Winter Soldiers with his superspeed. Spider-Man swing-kicked into Falcon's back, clipping his wings and smashing him down before grabbing the neck of a Winter Soldier who'd charged at him and face-planting him to the ground. Black Panther caught Hulk's punch before flipping over him and taking down a group of Winter Soldiers with a kinetic energy blast.

"There's too many of them!" Ms Marvel said. "We can't hold out much longer!"
"Yes, we can." Spider-Man said. "Stick together, people!"
Then Spider-Man spotted something out of the corner of his eye. Bucky. He was the man responsible for the UN bombing. Right then and there, Spider-Man made it his mission to take down Bucky. He was going to avenge all the people Bucky killed. Because that was what he was. An Avenger. Spider-Man caught Bucky's first punch before making Bucky punch his arm.

"Great arm. Bet Mr. Stark could make an even better one." Spider-Man said.

Bucky took another swing at Spider-Man but he ducked and sent an uppercut into Bucky's face. Bucky fired his machine gun but Spider-Man dodged the bullets before kicking the gun out of Bucky's hands and taking him down with a flip kick.

"They're all over us!"
War Machine said as he sent Falcon flying with a repulsor blast and blasted back Hulk with a guided missile. Spider-Man flipped over Bucky before webbing his metal arm and ripping it right off. Then Spider-Man sent the man flying with a right-hook before webbing Scarlet Witch to a wall.

"You guys are dope!" he taunted.

Then Hulk rammed Spider-Man, knocking him down. Spider-Man wasn't done yet as he got back up and charged at Cap's Team.

"Come and get us, you traitors!" he challenged.
Suddenly, repulsor fire pounded into the ground. Iron Man flew in with Cap on his back.

"Everyone, stop!" Iron Man said. "We can't win this by fighting each other."

"If we fight ourselves, the Winter Soldiers will kill us." Cap added.

All of Iron Man's Team and Cap's Team stopped fighting each other and realized that they were right.

Over a dozen Winter Soldiers were on the other side.

"Avengers, assemble!" Cap said.

All of the Avengers, Iron Man's Team and Cap's Team charged at the army of bionic-armed men. Cap threw his shield to knock down some of the Winter Soldiers. Iron Man stunned Winter Soldiers with his repulsors. Thor unleashed a barrage of lightning, taking down many more Winter Soldiers. Hulk rammed through ranks of Winter Soldiers. Scarlet Witch lifted up a group of Winter Soldiers and made them crash into each other. Vision and Quicksilver took down Winter Soldiers with their energy beams and superspeed. Falcon and War Machine blasted back others with their missiles. Ant-Man became Giant Ant-Man and swatted away a dozen Winter Soldiers with a sweep of his huge hand. Spider-Man webbed Winter Soldiers to walls with his Web Blossom move. Black Panther and Ms Marvel took down Winter Soldiers with their claws and extendable fists. And they also had backup. An explosive arrow blasted back Winter Soldiers and everyone cheered when they saw that Hawkeye had escaped from the Hydra ship.

"Good to have you back, Barton." Cap said.

"Good to be back." Hawkeye replied.

Finally, Iron Man shot a guided missile at the Hydra ship above the battlefield. It hit the engines and sent the entire vehicle plummeting down and exploding. Then, a man with a purple mask flew out of a pile of debris with a jetpack and an energy sword. It was Zemo. The Avengers had reached the final battle.
