Author's Note: Hellooooo Everyone, how are you all doing today? I'm doing absolutely great! Now I know I said i would wait until Halloween to post this story but after talking with a few friends over the past few days, they have convinced me to actually just go for this one. Now to be brief, this story was a dream of mine for a couple years after I finished watching Kamen Rider Ex-Aid, as well as a few other animes and shows where the villain or hero has the ability to control time. However, I had to make a few changes from the Preview in order to make this story a bit more exciting, thanks to Priscilla The Ancient One convincing me to do so, both for the humor and for the practicality. So let me present to you what I had changed "Time Stop" to… Time Distortion.
Now to be brief, the ability to Distort Time grants Izuku access to a multitude of Time Manipulation Powers, but out of all of them I chose 9 to try and keep things simple, for both my sake and yours. I won't go into detail, but suffice it to say that I am absolutely loving the fact that my friends convinced me to do it! Now I will admit, Time Manipulation is one of my favorite abilities, as I think I've mentioned a few times that I'm Autistic, so my style of writing is rather linear and boring, cuz ya know "Order is the Order of the Day" am I right? Or maybe that's just me.
Anyway, Izuku's Quirk has a lot of inspirations from this, the biggest of which are Kamen Rider Cronus from "Kamen Rider Ex-Aid", Dio Brando from "Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders", Barragan Louisenbarn from "Bleach", Ultear Milkovich from "Fairy Tail" and Dante Sparda from "Devil May Cry", specifically when he gets the Quicksilver Fighting Style from Geryon in DMC3. These characters helped inspire Izuku's Quirk, Justice, in which, funnily enough, I found a variant of the japanese word for Justice, which used the same Romaji name for "Individuality" or "Quirk". So I thought that was a bit of humor for that… Though to be more specific, here is the Kanji for Quirk (個性) and here is the Kanji for the variant of Justice (公正), and both of them are said as "Kosei" in Romaji! Pretty funny right? In any case I have all the specifics written down in my notes as if it were an MHA Wikipedia article, and I will explain the details at the end of the chapter so everyone knows what is going on with the Quirk, and so that, if I ever break my canon, everyone can correct me on it and I can fix it later!
(*Update: 9/17/2021* I have extended this first chapter by quite a bit in order to balance out Izuku and give some further backstory for what is to come in later chapters, as well as a few other changes. I hope you guys enjoy what is to come in this chapter. In the next chapter, I will be moving Mineta's Minisode to Chapter 2, so it keeps pace with the timeline, and at the end of each chapter, Mineta will have a Minisode to depict his journey away from the rest of Class 1-A, but don't worry, Mineta will be joining Class 1-A for all major school events, but I still have something planned for him down the line)
Anyway that is enough out of me for now, sorry for wasting your time on the voting, I will remove that post soon after I post this chapter, so please forgive me for wasting your time, and I promise you won't be disappointed by this story, at least I hope not. Please be sure to Follow, Favorite, and Review, also please share this story with your friends if they like My Hero Academia Content! Catch ya on the Flipside! SMAAAAAASH!
Chapter 1:
"Sorry Kid… It ain't happening…" Doctor Daruma Ujiko says, in which Izuku looks at the man in front of him in shock.
"Doctor Ujiko, what do you mean?"
"Sorry I trailed off a bit… So let me explain. Izuku does have a quirk, it's just his body can't handle it right now." Doctor Ujiko explains, "I had been working on case studies like this for years, and my work was recently given the credit it deserves… Your son is what is known as a Sleeper… It is a very rare condition in which a Quirk is so powerful that it actually remains dormant within children… The reason for this being is that the Quirk is unimaginably powerful and a child's body can't withstand the full power of the Quirk just yet. So your boy does have a quirk, his body just isn't strong enough to use it yet. So it's waiting for Izuku to reach a level he can start tapping into it!"
"Oh, so that's whats going on?"
"Yes…! Though I can tell you what your son's quirk is, but I need to know a few things first." Doctor Ujiko says, "What are the Quirks you and your husband possess?"
"Well I've got a telekinetic quirk which allows me to gather small objects to myself, and my husband has a Stockpiling Quirk that is a mix between a Transformation and Emitter Type Quirk." Inko explains, "Why?"
"Izuku's quirk is a bit of a mixture of that, and from what we can tell, it seems your son has a very rare type of Quirk that you can count the number of users in Japan with both of your hands." He turns to Izuku with a smile, "Izuku, my boy, you are a Time Streamer, one of the rares subdivisions of Quirks in the World."
"Time Streamer?"
"Yes, it was another project of one of my ancestors named Kyudai Garaki. Alongside his Quirk Singularity Theory, he also came up with a Theory, which recently was proven true and published by my late father, that there are different types of subdivisions of Quirks, and some of them require unique sources of power to activate. Time Streamers, one of the rarest types out there, have Quirks that actually manipulate and control a type of Quantum called Chronons, the physical manifestation of the concept of Time. In order to use Chronons, their bodies gather and compress Chronons around them, or store them within their bodies to be compressed later. By compressing and concentrating Chronons in a small space, the quantums actually unleash their latent energy, allowing the user to manipulate time in an area around them designated by their Quirk." Doctor Ujiko explains, "Your son is one of these Time Streamers, and your son's quirk is a combination of both the Stockpiling Quirk and your Attraction of Small Objects. From what we can tell, if your son is capable of sitting still for about a minute, or is sleeping, he can gather Chronons to him and stockpile them in his body."
"Once he has gathered enough, he will be able to activate his quirk and thus unleash the temporal energy within the chronons throughout his body. However, how he can manipulate time with this quirk is something we won't be able to test until he is physically stronger. So I would suggest that until he activates it for the first time, have Izuku do workouts to increase his physique and physical capabilities in order to cause his quirk to activate sooner, and put him into martial arts classes, just to have him be prepared when he begins training his quirk." Doctor Ujiko explains, "Once his Quirk activates again, we'll see what kind of abilities it has!"
"Thank you for this, Doctor! We really appreciate you giving us this news!"
"It is no trouble at all! Also, be sure to inform Izuku's teachers about the situation. Izuku has a Quirk, but until he's strong enough to use it, he's essentially Quirkless." Doctor Ujiko warns her.
"I will, Doctor, thanks again!" Inko says, Izuku, though quiet, has a look on his face as if he just received a gift from god. The Ride Home was the best Izuku had ever had as he and his mother made their way home. Izuku's day just gets better as he sees a muscular man standing at their door, in a long trench coat with a hat on his head, but Izuku would recognize that smile anywhere.
"Daddy!" Izuku says, rushing to his father, his idol, All Might, Toshinori Yagi, otherwise known as Hizashi Midoriya to public records.
"Izuku! It's so good to see you! Why! Because I am here!" Toshinori says, kneeling and hugging his son, who snuggles into his father's chest, he then looks up to Inko, "How did it go, Inko?"
"It went better than I feared, but worse than I expected." Inko says, "It turns out Izuku does have a quirk, but I had to spill the beans on One For All a little bit."
"Really?"
"I only mentioned the Stockpiling part of your Quirk, as the doctor believed that Izuku's quirk is a combination of both that and my quirk!" Inko says, rubbing her son's head. "Whats more, it's a rare Time Streamer Quirk!"
"A Time Streamer? My boy!" He lifts up his son, "You are just amazing!" He then looks to Inko, holding his son in his arms. "So what's the catch?"
"Izuku's Quirk is a Sleeper…" Toshinori's smile falters a little. "I think that the stockpiled power of One For All also got transferred to Izuku as well, so it's too strong for him to use right now."
"Oh, so then all I need to do is toughen the little guy up and then he'll be ready to handle it!" Toshinori says, smiling at his son in his arms. "At least it's better than him being permanently Quirkless!"
"It is, but weren't you Quirkless once?"
"Huh?" Izuku asks, looking at his father.
"I was, but what I meant is that I don't want to involve our little Izuku into my battles… I couldn't bear it if I failed to defeat him and I had to give Izuku my Quirk as I died…" Toshinori says, holding his son close.
"Give me your Quirk?"
"Izuku…" Inko says, to which Toshinori gestures for them to go inside. Once they are and the door has been shut tight, the windows closed and blocked, Inko nods to her husband as he sets their son down on the couch. "Izuku, we have something very important to tell you."
"What is it?" Izuku asks.
"My boy, as your mother just said a few moments ago, I was born Quirkless. However, I was blessed to meet someone extraordinary…"
"That person was my mother, Nana Shimura, she was your father's teacher and mentor. She was by far one of the most powerful heroes in Japan at the time, but also she was the one who introduced me to Toshinori when we were younger." Inko explains, "However, there was something special about your grandmother, very special."
"But to explain what was so special about her, we need to go back to when Quirks first showed up… You see, during that time, the world was descending into chaos, as people began to protest, both violently and non-violently, against the original Quirk Users." Toshinori says, Izuku getting absorbed into this.
"Like in the X-Men Comics?" Izuku asks.
"Yes, but far worse, as people never expected that fiction to become a reality." Toshinori says, "During that time there was a man, one who gained the most powerful quirk in the world, and he was so vain he took on the name of that Quirk as his own name. And that name… Was All For One…"
"All For One was a menace, a manipulative monster who used his Quirk, which had the ability to take and transfer quirks to himself or other people, into creating a massive villain organization under his control. There were people who were horrified by their quirks, and so, in exchange for being free of their powers, they swore loyalty to All For One." Inko explains.
"And there were those who didn't think badly of the original quirk users, but were extremely jealous, wanting said powers for themselves, and in order to gain power, they too swore loyalty to All For One. However, there was one person who didn't submit to him, and that person was All For One's younger brother, a weak and sickly man with a powerful sense of justice, so powerful in fact that, despite being quirkless, he rampaged and defeated many of All For One's strongest allies with ingenuity, strategy, tactics, and gadgets he invented. However, when he tried to fight his brother, he was beaten easily, and in order to force his brother into submission, he forced a Quirk upon his younger brother."
"That Quirk was a Stockpiling Quirk that took metabolic energy from the body, converted into kinetic energy, and then unleashed that power out of the body as kinetic shockwaves." Inko continues, Izuku getting really into this story. "However…"
"The younger brother discovered, at that moment, he did have a quirk, a useless power, one that allowed him to pass on his quirk to others through ingestion of DNA, through hair, blood, or even flesh. And so, within him, the Stockpiling Power, which I have come to call One From Many, merged with the Younger Brother's Quirk, which my teacher named Transmission, merged into a new Quirk, known as One For All." Toshinori explains, Izuku putting his hands on his cheeks with shock and awe. "However…" Izuku's face falls a bit, "Even with the powers united, One For All was not yet strong enough to defeat All For One in it's first ever fight against him. However, the Younger Brother Theorize that by passing One For All onto others, it would steadily grow stronger as the first person cultivated the power and then passes it on, in which the process repeats itself until it at last grows strong enough to defeat All For One."
"And Grandma Nana had this Quirk?" Izuku asks.
"Yes, she did, and when the time was right, she passed it onto me…" Toshinori says, "However, All For One caught up to us not long after the start of my Third Year in UA, and we were caught woefully underprepared, and as such, your Grandmother sacrificed herself to save your mother and I, who were both caught up in the fighting."
"I never cried so much in my life…" Inko says, wiping away tears as she recalls that day. "She had my younger brother and I placed into Foster Care after my father was killed by All For One, but luckily, I was old enough to live on my own, and I knew the reasons why." Inko explains, "Unfortunately, I wasn't old enough to take my younger brother out of foster care, and I haven't seen him since, even though I've searched for him for years."
"We'll find him, one day, mommy!" Izuku says, smiling, placing a hand on hers with a smile. "Daddy, is All For One still alive?"
"Unfortunately… And I've been waiting for the day I can finally put that monster in prison, or end him permanently…" Toshinori says, "So that way One For All can die with me." He looks at Izuku with a smile and hugs him, but then Izuku says something neither of them expects.
"Daddy, if it comes to it, I'll take One For All and beat All For One!" Izuku says, bravely looking at his son.
"What?" Toshinori asks.
"I can do it! Once I activate my Quirk and get used to it, I want to be able to take your place as the Symbol of Peace!" Izuku says, smiling at his father. "Please?"
"Izuku, my boy…" Toshinori says, but then smiles at his son, "If it comes to it and I need to pass on One For All, you have my word, you will be my first choice…" Izuku smiles and hugs his father.
5 Years Later…
Screaming… Explosions… Clouds of dust and smoke being thrown into the air as civilians are screaming, one of them knocking Izuku over as he and his mother get separated in the crowd. Looking around, Izuku tries to find a place to hide, knowing that if he tries to out in this mob, he'll be trampled to death. Better to wait until the mob becomes thinner so he can- That is when an explosion erupts near him and Izuku sees several civilians flying toward him, all of them with lifeless eyes as Izuku had barely dodged out of the way of that attack. He looks at the corpses in front of them, covering his mouth as his eyes become filled with fear and terror, holding in his desire to vomit, instinct telling him whoever caused that damage is nearby. Quietly, Izuku sneaks out of his hiding place and looks for another place to hide.
Unknowingly, as Izuku moves from hiding spot to hiding spot, he is moving closer and closer to the epicenter of the battle, and within a few minutes, a shockwave of air hits him. He recognizes this shockwave… It's One For All! In Izuku's gut, he knows he's headed in the wrong direction, but the 9 year old presses forward anyway, getting to the center of the fighting where he sees his father battling the person Izuku can feel in his gut, rather something in him is warning him not to let this man touch him. In his mind, Izuku knows this man's name… 'All For One!' Izuku thinks, absolutely terrified as he senses the malevolent presence of this monster, and he feels like he should run, but sees his father battling him fiercely. 'You got this, dad! Don't give up!'
However, within the next minute, Izuku sees something that causes despair to fill him, All For One uses a Quirk he has never seen before, and plunges his hand into the left side of his father's chest. "This is the end for you, All Might…" All For One says, smiling at him malevolently.
"Dad…" Izuku says, catching the attention of both the #1 Hero, and the World's Greatest Villain, they both notice Izuku standing there, and then his scleras turn black as everlasting darkness, with his green eyes acting like bright emerald supernovas. "NOOOOOOOO!" A flash of emerald light erupts from Izuku's body as the boy shuts his eyes, screaming.
Izuku opens his eyes as he feels weak and weary, but as he looks up, he sees his father dodge the incoming attack and send the Symbol of Fear flying with a powerful punch. 'What was that?' Toshinori thinks, holding his head, 'Did I just see the future? Wait… That green flash of light…' He turns to where Izuku is, 'My son! He's activated his Quirk!'
"Getting distracted, All Might?" All For One asks, picking himself up, "You were able to dodge that sneak attack well, that's so unlike you!"
"Let's just say I got a little help!" Toshinori says, rushing towards All For One, "It's time to end this!" He charges up One For All to it's maximum output and rushes to All For One, who prepares his final attack as well. "UNITED! STATES OF! SMAAAAAAAASH!" Izuku can only watch as a massive tornado erupts from the impact of the blow, but more than that, the air currents pick up the boy and throw him into the air. Izuku screams in terror as he finds himself being pulled into the sky. However, he stops midflight as he sees his mother, Inko, reaching out to him with her Quirk, and pulls multiple times, as if pulling on a rope to bring her baby to her. Inko barely manages to bring Izuku into her arms by the time the winds die down, and the dust settles. What she and Izuku see is something that will bring them all memories to come, good or bad.
Toshinori is standing with a wound on his chest, his arm raised, but also, All For One lies on the ground, his head smashed in. However, as the reporters and police rush in, Inko rushes to her husband with her son in her arms, both of them hugging the injured #1 Hero, who has a large wound in his chest. However, before everyone can celebrate, everyone turns in shock to see a black mist opening up around All For One, and the villain laughs weakly. "Congratulations, All Might… You've won… However, don't think that this is the end… I will be back, not tomorrow, or the day after, but eventually… Enjoy your victory while you can…" All For One says as Izuku looks in terror and clings to his father, the police and other heroes trying to grab the man as his body sinks into the mist, vanishing. Toshinori, groans as he collapses to his knees as Paramedics take the man to the hospital, and Inko climbs into the ambulance with her son so they can help Toshinori, Izuku holding his father's hand the whole way.
Hours Later…
Izuku is sitting, terrified that his father might die because of this fight, and Inko is trying to comfort him, scared as well, but attempting to stay strong. The two of them are met with Recovery Girl, who walks over to them, "How is he?"
"Very lucky to be alive!" Recovery Girl says, "The Surgery went well and he is recovering nicely, but we found something odd inside his blood tests when we looked for any poisons." She then brings up a vial, "This is normal human blood…" She then brings up another vial, and the liquid inside is crackling with green energy. "And this is what we found in Toshinori's blood… Somebody has been using a Quirk to lessen the severity of Toshnori's injuries, but that's not the odd part… The odd part is that this energy contains something we weren't even sure even existed… Chronons, Temporal Quantums." Inko's eyes widen, as does Izuku, as he looks at his hands, while Inko looks at her son. "So is this your doing, sonny?"
"I… I don't know… I have been training to unlock my Quirk, but I never used it before!" Izuku says.
"Well if you're saying your Quirk is a Sleeper, then you've definitely awoken it!" Recovery Girl says, "And thanks to you, the damage wasn't as bad as it could have been! However, One For All did take a serious blow…" She looks down, "It would be best if you saw it for yourselves…" She leads him to where All Might is resting and they find something horrifying, Toshinori looks like an emaciated version of himself, looking barely alive. "This is the result of your quirk saving his life, sonny. Your Quirk actually activated a hidden function within the Stockpiling ability, a transformation aspect which lowered his muscle mass but made it easier to operate on him. Thanks to your quirk, the damage to One For All and his body were minimalized enough that he can still live a normal life, but now he can't sustain his original form permanently."
"Why is that?" Izuku asks.
"The hidden Transformation aspect, to be honest, was active the whole time he was developing himself to suit his Quirk. It transformed your father's body into a version of himself more suitable to withstand it's power. However, now that it is deactivated, we can see the true toll it has caused him. One For All actually was slowly eating away at his metabolic energy and eating away at his true form, leaving him emaciated once it turned off. Though with enough food, rest, and patience, he'll be a more healthy looking version of what you see. However, now thanks to the damage, All Might now has a time limit with which he can maintain his Hero Form during his work day. Other than that little change, he's going to be just fine!"
"Thank you, Recovery Girl!" Inko says, sighing in relief.
"Don't thank me, missy, thank your son! It was thanks to his quirk that things turned out like they did. Now as long as he keeps a daily training regiment, and eats and drinks enough, he'll be able to maintain his time limit." Recovery Girl says, smiling, "Now, let Toshinori rest, he'll be awake in a few hours. For now we need to examine your quirk, sonny, and we need to speak to Inspector Tsukauchi to inform him of what's going on!"
"Right…" Izuku says. Thankfully, everything goes smoothly, and Izuku is let off with pat on the back and a smack on the wrist for his actions. After this, the tests were given and Izuku's Quirk was determined to be classified as Time Distortion, in which, after absorbing enough Chronons, Izuku could manipulate time as he wishes. However, Izuku is told his body can only handle so many chronons at once, and as he uses his Quirk's abilities, he has to sacrifice a certain amount of seconds of his timer in order to use them, kind of like Mana Points in an Roleplaying Game. Aside from that, Izuku's primary problem is that he has to sit completely still in order to draw in and stockpile chronons, similar to both his parent's quirks. In this manner, Izuku refills his stockpile of chronons, and thus allow him to continue using his abilities. However, one of the tests reveal Izuku had the ability to create what are known as Temporal Clones, or Time Shadows as Izuku calls them, and with this they test out an idea of the Boy's in which Izuku empties himself of all his Chronons, and has his Time Shadow sit in meditation, the little clone, though it struggles to do so, manages to gather all of the Chronons it can, and it cancels itself out, which, much to everyone's surprise, a cloud of chronons flows from the clone and back into the boy. This amazes everyone as, not more than a few hours after learning about his quirk, he just figured out the basic solution to one of it's problems.
However that being said,, Izuku was happy to have a quirk that made him like his parents, and whats more, the boy had been training for years to activate his quirk, and it seemed to have decided to do so at the best possible moment. The 9 year old couldn't be happier, but more than that, he could now become a hero in his own right, and the thoughts of showing off to Kacchan just rang in his head. He was really giddy and excited as he looks at his hands and clenches them. A few hours later, Izuku smiles as he and Inko gently hug Toshinori, all of them happy to be alive after this situation…
However, all good things must come to a screeching end… Three days after the battle with All For One, as Toshinori returns to his hospital room after using the bathroom, Toshinori looks to see his sidekick Mirai Sasaki, walking up to him. "All Might… I am sorry I haven't come sooner, I had to keep everything in order while you were away to not cause a panic."
"Thank you, Nighteye, I appreciate it." Toshinori says, smiling.
"Even after all that, you're still smiling,.." Sir Nighteye says, smiling, "How did you avoid that deathly blow?"
"What?" Toshinori says,
"I saw your future before the battle, and you were supposed to die in that fight. How did you avoid it?"
"Well it's not easy to explain, but my son… From what he told me, he has the ability to Distort Time, and it's thanks to him turning back time both at the moment of my death, and reversing time for my injuries that the worst case scenario was avoided." Toshinori explains, "My son is quite amazing, isn't he?"
"A Time Streamer…" Mirai says, "Another abomination like me…"
"Don't…" Toshinori says, "Don't you dare say anything about my boy…! His power is a blessing, I would've died without his intervention, and if he hadn't been there, I'd be in worse condition than I am now!"
"I meant no offense, All Might, but you know how I feel about people like me…" Sir Nighteye says, "We're harshly judged and scrutinized because our quirks, in popular media, are considered villainous, due to the fact that the majority of fictional characters who can manipulate time are villains."
"Thats true, and honestly, it may surprise you…" Toshinori says, "My boy, Izuku, he's actually inspired by Villains…"
"What…?"
"Not in a way that he aspires to be like them, but due to his quirk only awakening recently, he's been struggling with his confidence, and with his standing amongst his classmates… Not only that, young Bakugou, despite giving him an insult of a nickname, is always having to fight off bullies who target him. To cope, Izuku didn't turn to heroes who would save others, but Villains from media in order to learn their struggles and regain his sense of self-worth… Villains like Dio from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, who only sought peace of mind in order to escape the abuse of his father… Kamen Rider Cronus, who saw his enemies based on their powers in order to better deal with them… Baraggan Louisenbarn, who taught Izuku to never let go of your ambitions and to take pride in your accomplishments… Ultear Milkovich, to always seek forgiveness in yourself and others... Kurumi Tokisawa, to never let go of that inner light, even if you must drown yourself in darkness to protect the innocent… and Dante Sparda, to never let injustice go unpunished, and to use every tool at your disposal to bring justice upon the villainous."
"Well those last three weren't really villains, more like Antiheroes… But close enough, I suppose…" Sir Nighteye says, "All Might, you told me to never look into your future before, but, as I said, when I looked into your future, I saw your death… However, when your son activated his quirk for the first time… My entire vision of the future was rewritten right before my eyes… It split into two, and then my sight followed the path your son forced upon us…" He looks down, "I had seen the ending of this timeline, and it isn't good."
"What did you see…?"
"I saw that in about 6-7 years… You will face a villain of unimaginable strength and power… And…" He hesitates, not because Izuku is coming around the corner, but because he struggles to find the words. "If you keep up your performance as a hero, if you don't take the time to find someone who is a strong, kind, friendly person like yourself to inherit One For All… Then in 6-7 years from now… You will die…" That is when a crash is heard, to which All Might looks beyond Sir Nighteye, who turns around… What Sir Nighteye sees will haunt him for the rest of his days…
Izuku, having held a plate of food for his father… Had dropped it, the plate shattered as Izuku's eyes filled with dread and despair, looking at Sir Nighteye, his mind processing what he just heard. "What…?" Izuku asks, the 9 year old unable to say more as he begins to breath hard, then hyperventilate. Reacting quickly, Sir Nighteye reaches the boy, grabbing his shoulder, trying to calm him down, reassure him, but the moment he touches Izuku's shoulder, and his eyes lock with the boy, his quirk activates on his own, and he sees something shocking…
Izuku stands, now 15, about to turn 16, stands upon a hill overlooking a valley as a war between superhumans goes on below, the boy looking to the sky as 16 people stand behind them, 10 of them being Time Streamers, whilst the other six crackle with the Energy of One For All, alongside Izuku, whose eyes turn to the sky as what appears to be someone whom Mirai can't recognize, but he can feel All For One's presence coming from him. His eyes then turn to see All Might fighting a creature he once described as Giganotmachia, with some but little difficulty, but, instead of using One For All, he is flying at high speeds, moving between sonic booms and fighting off the giant. Izuku and the new All For One glare at each other, Izuku pointing at the person. "That Quirk of yours is getting the Banhammer…"
Nighteye snaps out of his vision, completely covered in sweat, whilst Izuku is being tended to by a doctor, and All Might makes his way to his son's side, but looks at his sidekick with a look of pure fury. "I don't want to know what you saw… But know this… We both know that I won't stop being the #1 until my son is ready… So you should take some advice from me. Leave my agency and start one of your own, raise heroes following my ideals, and make sure they know how to make people laugh…" Toshinori says, "My son will need all the joy and laughter in his life once I am gone… So please… Leave…" Sir Nighteye, listening to his hero, looks to the boy, then bows before walking away. "And thank you for being there for me whenever I need it, young Mirai…"
"It was an honor, All Might…"
"Though could I ask one small favor?"
"Anything!"
"When my son is ready for Internships, or possibly even Work Studies, please take him in. You're the only Time Streamer I know and trust enough with this."
"Gladly, but I'll need to see his abilities first before I decide which he should do." Mirai says, walking away
?:
"Kihihihihi!" A voice echoes in Izuku's mind as he feels like he is drowning, "My oh my… Seems we have a visitor today, everyone…!" Izuku's eyes open to see him sinking in what appears to be an ocean, and above him he can see a girl with black hair, dressed in crimson and black as she looks at Izuku with a look of madness on her face.
"Hmmm…" A voice catches Izuku's attention as he rights himself, seeing a powerful but elderly man sitting on a throne of bones. "This one is strong… Good…"
"Wryyy…" A bit of lipsmacking is heard as Izuku looks behind him, seeing a man in golden garments with green hearts around it.
"Control your Appetite!" A woman's voice says, the young boy turning to see a beautiful woman floating towards him. "It's alright, little one…"
"Who…?" Izuku asks, shocked he can even speak underwater. However that is when he sees somebody walking up behind her, two people actually. "Kamen Rider Cronus… and… Ohma Zi-O!"
"What a delightful child…" Cronus says, smiling under his mask. "I think it's time we played a game…"
"You, child…. You have found your way to us, and yet your powers meddle with things you have yet to understand…" Ohma Zi-O says, looking at Izuku, "You are toying with things that you shouldn't…"
"Dude, give the kid a rest…." A man with silver hair and with a red coat, says, walking over, "Kid just learned his dad's going to die in less than a decade."
"Dante…" Ohma Zi-O says, "This child must be made ready…"
"That is true, but he's still too young to understand what is going on, plus he's just been given some serious news about his future. So let's take it a bit slow with the kid…" Dante says, floating to the kid. "Hey, brat, name's Dante, whats yours?"
"M-Midoriya I-Izuku…"
"Well Izuku, I can call you Izuku, right?" Dante asks, to which Izuku nods, "To make a very long story short, we know about what is more than likely going to happen to your father, and you have a really great… Quirk i think is the modern term? Anyway, your power is great, but left unchecked, you may end up accidentally killing your pops by accident, or doing other amounts of untold damage… That's why we called you here… We're going to teach you each of your powers, and how to get some basic control over them. After that, you'll need to train yourself to get used to them."
"Kihihihihi! And each of us will be your instructors, however, if you want more advanced training, we can help in that regard as well, bouya!" The Goth Lolita girl says, smiling at the boy madly.
"And that is why we have summoned you here…" The Elderly Man says, standing up, "However… There is you will not tell anyone of this meeting… Or the consequences will be severe!" The Old man looks at Izuku, who looks terrified. "Understand?"
"Y-Yes sir!" Izuku says, shaking.
"Good good…!" The lolita girl says, cocking a flintlock pistol. "Now go home, and rest up…" She pulls the trigger before Izuku can react, the muzzle flash blinding him.
5 Years Later…
Izuku smiles as he is sitting in his room, scribbling down the last of his notes as he thinks back to the past five years he has been training… First he had discovered the Time Stream, an interdimensional energy source in which all Time-Based Quirks draw their powers from. When he was there as a child, he was destined to meet his teachers, each of them being Villains or Anti Heroes from Anime, Manga, or Video Games, who decided to just flat out help him learn to control his powers. However, it wasn't as simple as that… As it turns out, Izuku learned that his Quirk is actually divided into multiple "Sub-Quirks" specialized applications of his quirk that he can utilize, and each of his teachers had given him the means to learn the basics of each of them.
From Barragan Louisenbarn, Izuku had learned the foundational abilities of Time Distortion, as well as how to absorb Chronons, the Quantums of the concept of Time, and how his quirk worked. Through this, Izuku learns that he has something that can be considered like Mana Points from a Role Playing Game, in which Izuku's "mana" is counted in Seconds. Each year he is alive after it's initial activation, Izuku will gain one minute added to his timer, and, in turn, his Quirk will get stronger. But in exchange, the cost for each individual application will increase as well, but so will it's duration and effects. So counting how many years Izuku has had his quirk, today he has a "time limit" of 300 seconds, or 5 minutes.
From Dio Brando, Izuku learned his favorite ability, Temporal Stasis, the ability to stop time in it's tracks. Dio explains to his student that Izuku's quirk, like the rest of his abilities, requires Izuku to use up seconds off his "Timer" in order to stop time. With this context, Izuku, in order to stop time for 5 seconds, he needs to pay "double or nothing". However, as Izuku learns with Dio, when time is stopped, Izuku can utilize his other abilities without additional cost, as long as he completes it before time restarts.
From Kurumi Tokisaki, Izuku learns how to create Time Shadows, temporal clones that are identical to him in every way, save for their durability, via Temporal Looping. Temporal Looping allows the user to create a continuous but repetitive flow of time that always restarts, and that through using his own Time to create a loop internally, he can project it outwards and create his Time Shadows. Izuku learns that for every clone he creates, he sacrifices one second off his timer. However, as Izuku shows Kurumi, he had discovered not only the ability on his own but also a means to use the Time Shadows to restore his time limit, to which the psychotic woman was so happy and impressed that she shot him, ending the day's training early as a reward. This allowed Izuku to get a good night's sleep, and he came to like Tokisaki-sensei, despite her maniacal behavior.
From Kamen Rider Cronus, Izuku learns the ability to rewind time, which Cronus explains that his most powerful ability, Reset, is actually the ability to Rewind time put out at it's maximum, and is still beyond Izuku's abilities. However, he does tell Izuku that he had pulled off Reset instinctively, so, in Cronus's Mind, Izuku has a far greater affinity with the ability to reverse the flow of time than he does any other application, meaning that, if Izuku wanted to, he could be a healing and rescue hero if he so decides.
Ultear Milkovich, after she gets the chance to tutor Izuku, comes to agree as Izuku's affinity for reversing time comes from his inner kindness and his genuine desire to save people, as such, his ability to reverse time actually costs him less time than that of his other abilities. To this end, Ultear makes it her job to teach Izuku how to rewind both organic and inorganic things, so that he can utilize time reversal to it's fullest and truly be a rescue hero if need be. With Cronus's help, Izuku actually discovers that he can heal wounds by completely removing them, but Cronus warns Izuku to never use Rewind to attack, as, in doing so, Izuku will effectively "ban" a person or their quirk, meaning he could make a person essentially Quirkless, or even kill them, if he isn't careful.
After this, Ohma Zi-O teaches Izuku about how to use time to accelerate things, and with the aid of Kamen Rider Kabuto, especially himself. Barragan even gets in on this and teaches Izuku how to age things with his Quirk, but warns the boy against using it, as, even though he'll be able to reverse the aging, aging a person's body causes them intense pain, to which, in the distance a certain woman with a bladed-ring for a weapon glares at Barragan as she holds the stump of her left arm.
In both of these cases, for every second Izuku gives, he can move time forward or backwards for whatever he is touching. Taking these teachings into the real world, Izuku trains to be able to master both Accelerating and Reversing Time, to the point that he often picks up litter and practices aging and deaging the trash he picks up. His parents get a bit concerned with this, but, thankfully, Izuku helps them understand that Izuku can't do it all the time, and he is only limited to whatever it is he is touching.
After this, Dante teaches Izuku how to slow down time, though his instructions require quite a bit of demonstrations, fortunately, a certain amazonian looking Umbra Witch, Bayonetta, comes in to give Izuku a hand in it, helping to simplify the lesson, as well as give it a woman's touch, as Izuku takes after his mother quite a bit. Thanks to Bayonetta, Izuku is capable to get a hold on Time Deceleration, and with Dante acting as a sparring partner, Izuku figures it out in no time. However, Izuku learns that the use of Time Declaration is actually quite costly, as Izuku has to sacrifice about 30 seconds when using it, whether offensively or defensively, and even then. Izuku can only hold it for 10 seconds
Finally, from Ohma Zi-O, Izuku learns the ability to travel through time, in which Cronus explains that each Time Streamer has a unique way of traveling through time, though the principal is basically the same. The User is either teleporting to the very same spot they are standing in at a different point in time, transporting them to a different location at a different point in time, or teleporting to a location in either direction or parallel within a limited span of time. For Izuku, his means of Time Travel is the Third, in which Izuku creates a large portal for him to walk through, and he finds himself appearing within one minute of the time he left, or he can transport himself or others at different locations from where he is, cutting the travel time down to only a few seconds. However, the caveats with this ability is that Izuku has to have seen the location before, and that this is the most costly of his abilities, requiring him to spend a full 60 seconds in order to open the portal.
Izuku can't help but take pride in the accomplishments that he has made over the course of the past five years, though now, as he sits at his desk, looking over to his unfilled application for UA Highschool, he thinks about what he should do about his Quirk, he needs to figure out a name for it, but he hasn't figured one out… However, deciding he needs to think more carefully… Izuku starts listening to the themes of some of his masters, and, on a whim, takes out a deck of western Tarot cards, shuffling them. Izuku draws a card at random, and as the song changes, ironically, the name of the Card and the Name of the song match perfectly.
Just like the silent sleeping darkness
Glaring at the direction of truth
My hands control the marionette
Grating like the awakening fate
The dark flames come to a beautiful point
Worming through the linchpin of life
When I collapse into that place
I can finally close my eyes
And see "time" in my dreams
As I return to ignorance in peace
JUSTICE in the light of heaven
Time echoes in the Campanella
JUSTICE Memories and dreams from the past
Intertwined with all creation Just Reset
JUSTICE Even the pain from that day
Can be erased with an embrace
JUSTICE Let's take a look back
Now is the beginning of the planet's Restart
After I awaken at the the vast ending
Rewriting the rules of truth
My hands defy the Marionette
Lamenting the decaying Real
The flames grow cold, adorning beautifully
As I send out a hymn of tribute
And the cogs begin to turn
Gently lay your hands down and listen
I see time in my dreams
And I end it all peacefully
JUSTICE Still looking to the heavens
Time echoes within the Campanella
JUSTICE Connect the past to today
The factor of all will Just Reset
JUSTICE Even the tears from that day
Disappear past the illusion
JUSTICE hesitating to move on
Now, let us begin the planet's Restart
JUSTICE The sorrow of righteousness
Time plays out in Campanella
JUSTICE How many times will this repeat?
Break the chains and Just Reset
JUSTICE in the light of heaven
Time echoes within the Campanella
JUSTICE Memories and dreams from the past
Intertwined with all creation Just Reset
JUSTICE Even the pain from that day
Can be erased with an embrace
JUSTICE Let's take a look back
Now is the beginning of the planet's Restart
At the end of the Song, Izuku smiles, as he looks at the Justice in his hands, as the cards he holds in his hand have faces designed after Kame Riders, and, funnily enough, the most unbalanced Kamen Rider, Cronus, is actually the character on the face of this card. The delicious irony hits Izuku as he sees Cronus holding the Scales and Sword of Justice in his hands, and sitting upon a throne. A smirk comes across his face and then he remembers the name of the song, and it gives him an idea...
Taking up his pencil with a smile, and begins to write down the details of his Hero Costume… A Black Leather Overcoat with Jade Green designs he creates himself with a matching body suit, boots, gloves, all of them integrated with layers of Spider-Silk Body Armor. Why Spider-Silk? It's because tests have shown that specially made spider-silk armor is more than 8x stronger than Kevlar, and at only a fraction of the weight. More than this, Izuku requests a specially crafted helmet that is heavily reinforced and has a Heads-Up Display linked to his Quirk upon activation, and with two large green horns reminiscent of his father's hair. Aside from this, Izuku has the helmet modeled after a specific animal, and have the "lower jaw" be the part that holds the head in place, as well as have a high class respirator integrated into it. He also has a utility belt set into place so that, in an emergency, he at least has a select number of gadgets and non-perishable foodstuffs in his belt on the off-chance he needs to eat. The reason for this is that everything is subject to the laws of time, and in turn, are the subjects to Chronons. Foods that perish quickly have more Chronons attached to them, but Non-Perishable foods don't have as many Chronons, but any Chronons that Izuku can readily get his hands on is better than nothing.
As a last bit of flair, Izuku decides to pay a small homage to his favorite teacher, Kurumi Tokisaki, and removes his original idea of having a cane, and instead, changes it to be a pair of specially made pistols. They would be made in the design of the Mateba Model Sei Unica Dynamica Sportiva, but would be the results of combining the original design with the Smith and Wesson Model 500. One of Tokisaki-sensei's earliest lessons when it came to using firearms with Dante's Gun Kata Style, was charging guns with Temporal Energy, specifically focusing Izuku's supermoves of Fast Forward, Pause, and Rewind, and infusing them into his guns to fire bullets of compressed temporal energy. She even helped him develop it to the point that he only needs to cock the hammer in order to load a time bullet into it, and when he told her about the Mateba Series he had researched, she shot him, a reward for figuring out a way around infusing his bullets.
The reason he got shot? Mateba Autorevolvers are designed with an initial Double-Action to get the mechanism started, but after the first shot is fired, the recoil operates the slide and cocks the hammer on it's own, turning the gun from its Double-Action Mode into a continuous Single Action mode, where only squeezing the trigger is required after that to cock it. On top of that, it is a Revolver, so thanks to the rotating cylinder in the guns, Izuku can easily reload his bullets with little effort and keep firing. By combining this design with the raw power of the S&W M500, as well as the raw power of it's Model 500 cartridge. However, in order to keep with the theme,
With this done, Izuku smiles as he goes back to the naming of his quirk, and he quickly looks at the name of the song he listened to, smiling as his guess was right. It was also sung by the actor who played said villain in the series, Hiroyuki Takami, Kamen Rider Cronus, and Izuku smirks as he looks at the designs of his hero costume, and smiles, 'I do look like a Kamen Rider with that suit, now all I need is a motorcycle.' Izuku thinks, smirking. Taking his Pencil, Izuku smiles as he begins to write out the Kanji for his Quirk… Izuku Midoriya… Quirk: Kosei (Justice)...
Izuku Midoriya
Quirk: Justice
Japanese Name: 公正
Romaji Name: Kosei
Quirk Description:
User: Izuku Midoriya
Type: Emitter
Quirk Range: All-Ranges
Justice (公正 Kosei) is the Quirk used by Izuku Midoriya. It is the result of the combination of Inko Midoriya's Attraction of Small Objects Quirk, and Toshinori Yagi's One For All Quirk.
Description:
Justice grants Izuku the ability to Distort Time. The Quirk is a combination of Inko Midoriya's Attraction of Small Objects Quirk and the Stockpiling ability of One For All, as such Justice is a powerful ability. Justice is generally passive in nature, as the Quirk passively gathers Chronons from the Atmosphere and stockpiles them within Izuku's body. Later, when Izuku decides to activate his Quirk, the Chronons release their stored energy, and Izuku can use their energy to distort time.
Usage:
Izuku uses Justice in order to subtly distort time for enemies and allies near him, amplifying his allies but also weakening his enemies at a slight fraction by passively distorting time. The Time Distortions aren't noticeable to anyone who isn't a Time Streamer, as they will be able to feel a sense of Vertigo and Displacement whenever Izuku activates his Quirk.
Thanks to his training with Dante Sparda and Kurumi Tokisaki in the Time Stream, Izuku has learned to use two unique fighting styles, Gun Kata and Deja Fu. Gun Kata is a form of martial arts that mixes Marksmanship with the martial arts stances and instinct. Deja Fu is the art of mixing Time Manipulation with martial arts to throw opponents off balance and disorient them, causing them to have a feeling of "being kicked in the head a certain way before". Combining these two fighting styles has allowed Izuku to utilize guns not only for their ranged capabilities, but after having his guns reinforced, he can use them as close quarters weapons. Izuku uses this style to have his Deja Fu abilities slow his opponents whilst speeding him up, while at the same time dodging between his opponent's attacks and firing at them with bullets made of temporal energy, a technique he learned from Tokisaki-Sensei.
However, Izuku learn from Barragan Louisenbarn that every year that he is alive, Izuku's Time Limit naturally increases by a full minute, as a testament to how stubborn he is able to keep himself alive.
*Spoilers Start* Izuku can combine the powers of One For All with Justice in order to increase his physical capabilities and add minutes to his Time Limit via the Percentage he is using, but the problem is his body can't handle the strain of maintaining this power boost. Thankfully, with All Might, as well as the previous users of One For All teaching him, he is able to progress faster in learning to use One For All at it's fullest without breaking himself, in which he progresses faster than he did in canon. Even so, Izuku only uses One For All as a supplement to his normal abilities, and would rather not use his hands or legs unless he had no other choice, due to the fact it is both excruciatingly painful and downright irritating to have to fix himself every time he breaks one or more bones. *Spoilers End*
However, Justice :

Temporal Looping:
Record (Izuku creates a specially reinforced Time Clone that is just as strong and tough as Izuku, though this one has a personality of it's own. However, it has all the memories, strengths, abilities, and weaknesses as Izuku, but more than that, it is completely invisible and intangible to anyone who doesn't have a Time Streamer Quirk.)

Continue (Izuku can Transport Himself and Others to any location Izuku has been before.)
Advance (Izuku can transport himself and others to a location within a moment in time that is no more than a minute forwards in time via a Time Warp)
Weaknesses:
-Justice is a very powerful quirk, but it utilizes energy from a limited pool of Chronons that Izuku has within his body, and once he activates his Quirk, he squeezes out the energy from the Chronons, similar to a Mana Bar, or Magic Points in a Role Playing Game, however, Izuku's is counted in Seconds rather than MP. When Izuku Initializes Justice, it subtly distorts time so that the movements of allies are sped up at a slight fraction, the movements of enemies are slowed to the same fraction, and in some instances, time feels like it is standing still. However, in order to use any of the Super Moves of Justice Izuku has to use a certain amount of time from his Time Limit to use them.
-In order to refill his supply of Chronons, Izuku has to sit completely still in order to gather them to him and then store them away in his body. Doing this, Izuku is completely vulnerable.
-Each of his Super Moves has a cost to use and Izuku has to keep careful track of each of his uses of his abilities:
-Record: Uses 1 second of Izuku's Time Limit per Clone
-Repeat: Uses 30 Seconds of Izuku's Time Limit,
-Rewind: Uses 1 Second of Izuku's Time Limit Per Second Reversed
-Reset: Uses 300 Seconds of Izuku's remaining Temporal Energy
-Pause: Uses 15 Seconds of Izuku's Temporal Energy
-Fast Forward: Uses 1 second of Izuku's Time Limit per second of use.
-Erase: Uses 1 second of Izuku's Time Limit per second of contact.
-Skip: Uses up 1 Second of Izuku's Time Limit per 7 Meters
-Slow: Uses 30 Seconds of Izuku's Temporal Energy per Second of Use.
-Replay: Uses 60 Seconds of Izuku's Time Limit
-Continue: Uses 60 Seconds of Izuku's Time Limit
-Advance: Uses 60 Seconds of Izuku's Time Limit
