Author's Note: HELLOOOOOO! How are you guys doing today? I'm doing awesome! I'm actually really happy you guys are enjoying this story, it's actually the first time I've written something and gotten so many likes and faves in such a short amount of time. So we before we begin, there are some people whose reviews I'd like to Address!
ContinueFreak: I know Mineta belongs in the Hero Course, but I'm not gonna lie to you, I really hate his perverted Nature! But let me give you some context, during the beginning of MHA, Mineta is a real coward and a pervert to the extreme, and his reasoning for becoming a hero, simply to get girls to like him, is not something I'm fond of. Jiraiya from Naruto and Issei from Highschool DxD are, in my opinion, better pervs than Mineta. For Issei, he's a perv with a heart of gold that he wears on his sleeve, and can actually backup his talk and keep his word, for the most part. Jiraiya, on the other hand, while he is a perv he is one of his world's most powerful Shinobi and often takes his job very seriously and keeps his perverted nature in check until he has free time, and his perverted antics are minimal at best, most of the time. So even during serious/dangerous situations, Mineta is a perv who doesn't hesitate to grope or oggle the girls in his class or teams. However, I'm kicking Mineta out of the story for now for a very good reason, and when he comes back, I hope you like what is going to happen.
As for Shinso, I actually really like him as a character, and I actually have some big plans for him going forward. Also Izuku's time as a "Quirkless" won't be for nothing. Plus, I recall that in the majority of anime and mangas, the Villains are the ones who get Time Manipulation Powers! I mean go back to Chapter 1 Author's Note and you'll see the majority of those inspirational characters are, or started out as, Villains (with the only exception being Dante Sparta). So don't worry, I have a plan to help Shinso through Izuku!
You're also right, ContinueFreak, I accidentally made Izuku overpowered, but I am going to fix that today. The problem is that now that One For All is in the mix, I have an idea of what I need to do, but that will be a surprise for later one. However, let's just say that the Previous Users of One For All will hate me for this. However, it will also allow it to truly be "One Quirk for All People" if you know what I mean. However, I won't spoil any further, but I will say that the idea will come from Yoichi Shigaraki (All For One's brother).
(*Update: 9/18/2021* Real Quick here, I want to thank ContinueFreak, AnimeFan13579, Batros940, Ohma flame, and silverjack20 for being such great people and reviewing on my story thus far! You guys really help keep me motivated for the future. Also in the Mineta's Minisode, I'm going to reveal Mineta's new costume, along with my version of his Pop-Off Quirk, and how I interpreted what I saw from the anime and manga. Also before you guys rag on me about the weapon of choice i gave Mineta in the Minisode, I did my research, and trust me, it is also one of the traditional weapons of the Mafia, only its not as famous as the Thompson Sub-Machine Gun)
Now with that out of the way, I would personally like to thank another villain from another franchise for giving me this idea; the Demon King from Seven Deadly Sins. If you can figure out what I mean by that, leave your guess in the Reviews! Anyway, I think that is enough for now! Please be sure to Follow, Favorite, and Review, if we can get 15 reviews by Friday 9/17/2021, then I will get to work on the next chapter that Saturday! Catch ya on the flipside! SMAAAAAASH!
Chapter 3:
"Izu-chan!" A voice calls to Izuku in his dreams, "Izu-chan!" Izuku opens his eyes and looks to see himself standing on a beach of white sand, with a silver sea in front of it.
"I'm in the Time Stream, but why? I didn't have any training tonight!" Izuku says, "Wait, I've never been to this beach in the Time Stream before! Where am I?"
"You're near our Manor, Izu-chan! Though I am glad I managed to call you here on my own." A voice says, to which Izuku turns to his right and sees a beautiful woman with black hair, a black suit, yellow gloves, and boots, along with a red belt and a long flowing cape flowing behind her. Izuku recognizes her from the photos his parents had shown him when he was younger. "I didn't want to ask those teachers of yours for help!"
"Nana-baa-san!" Izuku says, shocked.
"Baa-chan, Izu-chan!" Nana says, "So your goof of a father kept his word, you're the 9th User of One For All, right?"
"Yeah!" Izuku says, "And I've been having all sorts of problems with it! One For All is activating on it's own and I don-"
"Shhh…" Nana says, putting a finger on his lips. "I know, Izu… That's why I called you here… The First has an idea on how to help you!"
"The First?" Izuku asks, to which Nana nods and gestures for him to follow, the woman taking to the air as Izuku walks next to her as she floats. "So Baa-chan… There is something I need to know…?"
"Yes?" Nana asks.
"Do you know where Kotaro-jii-san is?" Izuku asks.
"Your uncle…" She says, looking down, "Your mother hasn't stopped looking for him, has she?"
"Yeah…"
"I'm sorry that you need to bring her this news, Izuku… But Kotaro is dead…"
"What? How?" Izuku asks.
"He... Unlike your mother, he resented me for the fact that I gave him up in order to protect him… I don't say this lightly, but he became a monster… Later when his son's own Time Streamer Quirk awoke… He died lashing out at his son… Your cousin… Tenko… I don't know where he is… Something in his Quirk is preventing me from finding him, just how I couldn't find or contact you until One For All became part of you." Nana shows a deep sadness as she nearly breaks down, crying, but Izuku gently hugs her, calming his grandmother a bit. "I'm sorry, Izuku, I shouldn't have been surprised that this could have happened, but I was… I never imagined my son devolving in such a way…"
"It's alright, Baa-chan! Because I will do my best to find Tenko, and hopefully i can help him!" Izuku says to his grandmother, who nods and smiles, though sadly. They continue on until they find a mansion, split off into 9 different sections. "Whoa!"
"This is the Manor of One For All, our little afterlife, until All For One is defeated." Nana explains. "Come, the First wants to speak with you and everyone else." She leads Izuku towards what appears to be a great hall where 8 chairs are arranged, in which each of them contain different predecessors, though Izuku can see the spectral version of his father sitting amongst them. "Your father is here as well in his dreams, but as he isn't dead, or a Time Streamer, he can't fully manifest here."
"I see…" Izuku says.
"However, he can still communicate with us, and he will remember everything that happens here!" Nana then moves Izuku to a small platform, then takes her seat amongst the 8 Predecessors, in which one of them, with white hair and red eyes, looks at Izuku.
"Hello, Niner… I'm Yoichi Shigaraki! It's a pleasure to meet you!" The man says politely.
"It's an honor to meet you all!" Izuku says, bowing respectfully, "I'm Midoriya Izuku, Son of the 8th and Grandson of the 7th!"
"Heh, kid's got some manners…" The Fifth User says. "Nice to meet ya, kid. Banjo Daigoro, but if you want, you can just call me Fiver." This man looks like he is a punk biker with a bald head, but Izuku can feel the power in his body and is a bit intimidated.
"There is no need to be scared, child!" The Sixth User says, "I am En, the Sixth User, it is a pleasure to meet you as well!"
"Agreed… Shinomori Hikage… #4…" A man with a stone face but lightning scars on his left side says to Izuku.
"Nice to meet ya kid, Gouki Fujin! I'm the Third…!" He points to the Second User, "And this is my twin brother, Raiden, the 2nd!"
"Pleased to meet you…" Raiden says.
"Now I call this meeting to Order!" Yoichi says, waving his hand and creating a seat for Izuku, who walks over and sits down next to his father. "So let us start off with this… Izuku, while it was admirable that you wanted to become the 9th User, realistically, this is not going to work."
"Why is that?" Izuku asks.
"Well to put it simply kid, the reason why you're not able to control One For All is because you have too many quirks inside your body already!" Daigoro says. "Your quirk is, shockingly, made up of 6 quirks already!"
"Huh!?" Izuku asks, shocked.
"You see, Izuku, the number of Time Streamer Quirks is growing…" Hikage says, "We don't know why, but in comparison to when you were a child, the number of Time Manipulation Quirks has skyrocketed by 4 times it's original number. As a Counter-Balance, the Time Stream created your Quirk, a Quirk that seems to be designed to Hunt and Kill other Time Streamers…"
"What?" Izuku asks.
"Yes… Your Quirk, Justice as you call it, is the ability to Distort Time, which allows you to be a perfect countermeasure against evil Time Streamers." En explains, "But more than that, with the 6 Quirks, One For All's two original Quirks, and the 6 that followed. You're sitting on 14 Quirks in your body… And It's having detrimental effects on you."
"That is why we called you here, Izuku… While we would like to make you our successor fully, with your body slowly breaking down due to the excessive amount of Quirks, we need to find a solution to pass on this quirk without adding Justice into it." Raiden says. "And that is what we are having trouble with… Justice is already integrating with One For All, so there is no way to safely pass it onto another person who isn't already Quirkless…"
"And we've been arguing for months now trying to figure out a solution…" Nana says.
"Master, if I may…?" Toshinori says.
"You are married to my daughter, Toshi, it's okay to call me "mom" if you wish."
"A-Alright…" Toshinori says, "I was wondering if there was a way to split the Quirks up? Find a way to separate Justice from One For All?"
"Wait…" Yoichi says, "Say that again?"
"I was wondering if there was a way to split the Quirks up?" Toshinori asks, to which Yoichi stands up, walks behind his chair, and starts slamming his head against the wall.
"I… AM SUCH… A FUCKING… MORON!"
"Oh Yoichi cursed, that's not good news…" Fujin says.
"It's never good news when he curses…" Raiden informs Izuku, who immediately gets scared. Yoichi soon comes back and brings out the chromatic orb that is One For All. However, instead of a glowing ball of light, it looks like a tangled mess of glowing strings. "This is One For All's core, Izuku… I'm going to need your help untangling it!"
"Why? What's the plan?" Izuku asks.
"It's simple, really… I also never thought of this because I didn't want to be like my brother… However, this is the best solution we have…" Yoichi says, "We're going to untangle the assimilated quirks in One For All and divide them amongst different Quirk Bearers!"
"Yoichi, are you insane!?" Daigoro asks, "Did you forget what happened when your brother did that to people who were incompatible with the quirks he gave them!?"
"No, I remember, but we don't have any other choice. We have to reset One For All back to Zero integrated Quirks, or Izuku will die before the end of the year from the stress. The plan is to split off the 6 assimilated Quirks and leave only the core, this will allow Izuku to access all of our accumulated energy without killing him. It will also allow for other quirks to be added onto it safely in the future, then we will begin the process over again should it come to that." Yoichi says, he then manifests Izuku's UA Student Roster, "Now we need to choose who will obtain your quirks, and the trick is finding users compatible with each of your Quirks!"
"How'd you get that!?" Izuku asks.
"It's in your room, and you studied it before bed, don't know why though…"
"I-I was just wondering who'd replace M-Mineta!" Izuku says, but then suddenly one of the users stands up and points to a boy on the multiple rosters, a boy with heterochromatic hair, but also something about him interests En.
"This one…" En says, "I call him for my Smokescreen Quirk…"
"Let me see!" Nana says, getting a closer look.
"Shoto Todoroki…" Izuku says, "He's one of the students that got in through Recommendations! His Quirk is Half-Hot, Half-Cold, though I have a feeling referring to his quirk as Icy-Hot is much less of a mouthful. From what I know from reading the roster, Todoroki can generate ice with one side of his body and fire with his left."
"Can he use both at the same time?" En asks.
"No, not that I'm aware of…" Izuku says.
"I think this boy could use some help, perhaps my Smokescreen Quirk would mix well with his Icy-Hot Quirk." En says, "Give it to him."
"Yes, sir!" Izuku says.
"Okay then I'm next!" Daigoro Banjo says, smiling, "My Blackwhip Quirk is kind of tricky in a sense, while a top-grade quirk, it has a certain activation condition that must be met in order to use it. That activation condition is a state of high emotions, specifically anger, hate, and rage."
"Why such emotions!?" Izuku asks, scared.
"To put it simply, humans are naturally a violent species, only able to overcome their negative emotions over time. Anger is one of the emotions that drives the Fight-or-Flight response in our brains, and my quirk is intrinsically tied to that response. As such, somebody with a great level of anger will be able to use that quirk. However, it can't be somebody who already has a quirk that has a similar response. So Katsuki Bakugou is already out of the running!" Daigoro says as he looks through the roster and notices something "This student…" Izuku looks at the one he points to. "What can you tell me about him?"
"Hitoshi Shinso?" Izuku asks, "Well the roster says that his quirk is known as Brainwashing, though I don't know how it works. However, if I had to take an educated guess based on the quirk's name, I'm suspecting he was an outcast, ostracized by his "villainous" quirk…" Izuku looks down, "I know I was due to Time Streamers being both rare and extremely feared since we can meddle with the flow of time, and the majority of us use our quirks for evil. Not to mention the vast majority of Time Streamers in fiction are also villains as well."
"I see…" He then smiles, "Welp I found my candidate, if he enters your class, give him my quirk, and ask that teacher of yours to take him on as an apprentice! Once Blackwhip activates, he'll know what to do!"
"Yes, sir!"
"Sensei, you want to go next?" Daigoro asks, looking at Hikage, who walks forwards and looks at the roster, but his eyes are immediately caught as he sees red hair.
"This boy, Eijiro Kirishima… What is his Quirk?"
"Hardening… It allows him to turn his body hard as stone that is jagged and sharp, but is extremely durable. It is a powerful defense, but when used offensively, it's power is just as tough." Izuku says, trying to remember what he knows from what little is in the book.
"So a Shield-Spear combination quirk… With my Danger Sense, if he managed to time his Hardening with his blocking of attacks, and use it to sense the openings his opponent leaves, he would be next to unbreakable…" Hikage says before walking away.
'Note to self: Give Kirishima Hikage-senpai's Danger Sense and help him figure out how to use it.' Izuku thinks. "Whose next?"
"Me next!" Fujin says, then taking a look at the roster, "Oh these two look good! What can you tell me about them?" He points to Tenya Iida and Mashirao Ojiro. "What can you tell me about their quirks?"
"Iida-kun is actually a friend of mine, his quirk, Engine, allows him to move at high speeds so long as he has had some orange juice, which acts as fuel." Izuku explains, "Mashirao Ojiro's Quirk gives him a strong, durable, and prehensile tail that acts similar to a spider monkey's tail, only it's thicker and stronger than that, not to mention, during the Quirk Apprehension Test, Ojiro claimed his tail is actually much more durable than the rest of his body." Fujin nods as he listens along before place a hand on Izuku's shoulder.
"I'll get back to you on that one. Bro, you're up!" Fujin says to his brother.
"Alright, Izuku, let me explain my Quirk first… My Quirk is known as Graviton…" He then holds out bullets in his hand and then loads them into the launcher on his arm, to which Izuku notices something, something familiar, but smaller… Pads on his fingers. "Whatever I touch I can infuse a type of Quantum known as Gravitons on them, this allows me to manipulate the weight of whatever I touch, either canceling out their gravity and making them float into orbit, or drastically increasing their weight. I found that by infusing Gravitons into my bullets, I can rapidly increase the weight of whatever the bullets hit."
"That sounds like Occhan's Quirk, only with half of what's there and much stronger!"
"Occhan?" Raiden asks, to which Izuku points to Ochako Uraraka.
"Then it must be destiny… I think one of my descendants passed on the quirk to Ochako, even if in a weakened form." Raiden says, looking at Izuku, who nods, knowing what he is going to ask.
"Okay I've made my decision!" Fujin says, "I'm going with Ojiro, from what I can tell after looking at your memories, Izuku, Ojiro is a Martial Artist, and the name I gave to my quirk was based on Chinese Martial Arts. So with somebody as trained as him, I think he would master it no problem due to his discipline."
"Alright!" Izuku says, but then turns to his Grandmother. "Grandma? Who do you plan to give your quirk to?"
"That is actually quite tough… As I know plenty who could use my Float Quirk, which has been upgraded to High Speed Flight thanks to All For One!"
"You take your time choosing Nana, because I need to speak with Izuku about something critical." Yoichi says.
"Yes, what is it First?" Izuku asks.
"Izuku, I just found out something that might be critical for you going forward." Yoichi says.
"What is it?" Izuku asks.
"Well I had been looking into One For All as I was starting to untangle it a little, and I noticed something strange about my original quirk." Yoichi says, "From what I can see, Transmission, as the Seventh is so fond of calling it, appears to be a Time Streamer Quirk. Aside from it's ability to pass itself onto others, as it passes between person to person, it absorbs their memories, and transforms those memories into Temporal Energy." Izuku listens closely, "Combine this with One From Many, then you have a quirk that transfers both Kinetic Energy and Temporal Energy. So, in this way, when you activate One For All, with each percentage you master, you not only gain that measure of raw physical power, but you also are able to increase the duration of your Timer by 60 seconds per percentage."
"And what about the energy that I use up, what happens to that?"
"Well that's the funny thing, Izuku! Thanks to the stockpiling mechanism of One From Many, your fat reserves are being transmuted into both Temporal and Kinetic Energy." Yoichi explains.
"So I can use both energies at once to increase my physical abilities and my Time Limit by the percentage of One For all I use…? Cool!" Izuku says, smiling at his Predecessor. As this is going on, Nana thinks about who could best properly use Float as it is now, and then looks to Toshinori and smiles. Izuku turns to her, noticing the smile. "Baa-chan, did you decide on who you want to have your Quirk?"
"I have!" She then gestures for her successor to come to her. "Toshi, could you come here for a second?" Nana asks, to which Toshinori nods and then walks over to them.
"What is it, Mother?" Toshinori asks.
"I have decided on who to give Float to… And it's you, Toshi!" Nana says, to which Toshinori's spirit coughs up blood in surprise.
"M-Me, mother? But why?"
"There is nobody I would trust with it more, plus, by the end of the year, One For All will have left your system entirely… I want to be able to ensure you still have a quirk as a means to help people once One For All leaves you. You'll no longer be able to fight, not directly at least, but you can still help people! The Symbol of Peace will vanish, but I think your son has the potential to be the new symbol, but despite how scrawny your body will be, thanks to Izuku, your body will still be strong and healthy enough to deal some lasting damage to criminals!"
"There is also the fact that, Dad, that speed actually increases the mass of an object, so if you're flying, you'll be able to increase the strength of your punches and kicks during it!" Izuku explains, to which Toshinori thinks about it, and then nods.
"I graciously accept, Mother…" Toshinori says, only for his spectral self to pale, "Even if that means I have to go visit Gran Torino-sensei for lessons afterwards…"
"Then we have no time to lose!" Yoichi says, smiling as the predecessors gather round Yoichi, who begins to move his hands through the mess of bundled quirks and each of the Predecessors take back their powers. "You will each hold onto your Quirks until it is time to pass them on. We can't let them return to the Core, or our last chance at defeating All For One dies with Izuku."
"Right!" Everyone says and goes to their manors. Nana takes her ability and presents it to her son-in-law, smiling as her successor takes the Float Quirk into himself. However, as this happens, Izuku hears something.
"Hm?" Izuku says, turning.
"What is it, my boy?" Toshinori asks.
"I thought I heard something? I think someone is here!" Izuku says, to which Toshinori and Nana become alert and Izuku looks around with them, eventually finding the source of the pattering, a little girl with long white hair, red eyes, and a little stubby horn on her head. "A child, here?" Izuku asks, to which he looks at the girl, "Hey… It's okay!"
"Oh she is so cute!" Nana says.
"Easy master, this girl looks scared!" Toshinori says.
"Hey, it's okay!" Izuku says, gently reaching his hand out to her, then the little girl rushes into his arms with fear in her eyes.
"Help me…!" She begs quietly, her voice a raspy whisper. "Don't let him take me again!"
"Huh?" Izuku asks, to which Nana kneels down and looks at her.
"She's a Time Streamer, Izuku. Time Streamers come here when they sleep. Wherever this girl is, she is in trouble and needs help!"
"Is there any way we can help her?" Izuku asks.
"There is!" Nana says, "If she shares her memories with us through connecting our Quirks, she may be able to give us an idea where she is at, and Toshinori can start looking for her."
"I will memorize her face and send it to a friend of mine in the police department. If we can get any idea of where she is, then we might have an easier time looking for her!" Toshinori says. Izuku nods and looks at the girl.
"Hey, can you tell me your name?"
"E-Eri…!" The girl says.
"Okay, Eri, that's a good girl…" Izuku says, "Now, we need your help. Right now you're in the Time Stream, the place all Time Streamers go when they dream or when they die… We need you to share your memories with us. With what you can give us, we can start looking for you."
"You… You promise?" Eri asks.
"That's right, and I won't stop until I find you, Eri!" Izuku says, "I don't care how long it takes, because I want to be able to save you!" He holds out his pinky and wraps her pinky around his. "Pinky Promise!" Eri looks at him with tears in her eyes, her horn growing as she hugs Izuku, with Izuku's sclera turning black. Seeing their chance, Nana connects hers and Toshinori's hands to Izuku's back and the memories flood into them.
Several Tunnels underground… Unspeakable Pain… Relentless Agony… Blood… Operating Equipment… Knives… Needles… and… A pale man with short auburn hair and golden eyes… Wearing black dress shirt with matching dress pants... A pale gray tie... A belt with a long, thin buckle... Three beaded lobe piercings in his left ear…. A dark olive-green bomber jacket with a thick purple fur collar… White lace-up sneakers with tan soles and no socks... White surgical gloves... And a magenta plague mask tipped and embroidered with gold… All Might gasps at what he sees this and he screams as his spectral image transforms into sand.
"Oh no! I killed him!" Eri panics.
"No no no… It's alright child…!" Nana says, calming her, "He came here in his sleep… He just woke up and is now probably going to draw every last detail he saw."
"See?" Izuku says, "It's okay… We'll find you, Eri… No matter how long it takes, but hopefully it's soon." He gently hugs her, "Until then, hang on, and when you fall asleep, be sure to come here, we'll be able to talk and play with you whenever you need it!"
"Promise?" Eri asks.
"Promise! Now… It's about time for us to wake up… I promise, we'll find you as soon as we can." Izuku kisses the little girl's head, "I'll be back tonight, just stay safe, and hang on until I find you."
"Alright…" Eri says.
"And one more thing Eri… If I ever have to let you go back to your captors, if I say the word "Deku" then that means we'll be coming for you soon. And I'll make sure to give you something to help us find you!"
"O-Okay!" Eri says, hugging Deku one more time, the boy hugging her as well, before both of them fade. "Please hurry…!"
"I'll be there as soon as I can find where they are hiding you, Eri." Izuku says. Izuku hears his alarm going off as he swings his hand, turning off his alarm with a groan. Izuku picks himself up, holding his head and gets himself ready for his second day of school. Breakfast turns out to be nothing interesting, save for his father rushing out ahead of him to get his lesson plan in order for the day, as well as drop off something at Detective Tsukauchi's office before he makes it to the school. Once he learns this, he realizes last night really wasn't a dream, but decides to keep quiet about it for now.
A Few Hours Later…
Izuku walks into his classroom, he notices somebody he had been asked to talk to, "Oh, hello!" Izuku says, walking to the new student, who has tired looking eyes, purple hair, and bags under his eyes.
"Oh, who are you?"
"M-Midoriya Izu-" Izuku then stops as his mind goes blank.
"Go to your seat and leave me alone…" The student says, anger in his eyes.
"Ooo, now that is anger!" Daigoro says, smiling "Don't worry I got your back, kid!" That is when Izuku yelps loudly, catching everyone's attention as Izuku's fingers has been bent out of place. "Sorry about that kid, but the pain was the only thing i could think of to wake you up!"
"What the hell!?" Izuku says, "I just wanted to talk to you for a second!" Izuku plays it up, his scleras turning black, as he uses his quirk to snap his finger back into place. However, the new kid looks at Izuku dumbfounded, and looks at everyone looking at him. However, Shinso noticed something they didn't… The moment he activated his quirk, black tendrils erupted from his wrist and broke the idiot's finger.
'What the hell was that?' Shinso asks, to which he realizes how bad it looks now, and he facepalms. "And what did you want to talk about, huh?" However, Izuku clams up and writes something on a notepad and shows it to Shinso.
"Nice try, I figured out how your quirk works… I was merely trying to introduce myself and welcome you to our class." The note says. "I was going to ask if you want a hand in getting along with everyone, but I think that is a no-go now." Izuku turns around and walks to his seat, still rubbing his tender finger.
'Damn it…' Shinso thinks, pinching the bridge of his nose, 'First day in the hero course, and I just made myself look like a villain. Damn it…' Shinso thinks, however Bakugou notices Izuku was acting strange.
Lunchtime...
"Deku…" Katsuki says, walking to Izuku, "Why did you try talking with that guy?"
"Well…" Izuku sighs, "Let me ask you this… If you realized your Quirk was… Too much for your body to handle, would you find a way to weaken it so you can live with it?"
"Is it about that?" Katsuki asks, sitting down, to which Izuku nods. Katsuki has been in the loop about One For All for years, having earned All Might's trust enough to learn about it during their Middle School years, so Katsuki can speak freely about it in private, but they have to use code when talking about it in public.
"It is overloaded, Kacchan… They asked me to get rid of some of it… And one of them has his eyes on Shinso, wanting to give to the new guy his share…" Izuku says.
"This "they" you're talking about… You can't mean them, right?"
"Oh I am talking about them… Somehow they managed to contact me in my dreams and warned me that it has too many quirks to manage safely anymore so I need to divide it so that it doesn't kill me…" Izuku says.
"I see…" Katsuki says, thinking carefully. "Who did they choose to give their portions too?"
"Occhan… Kirishima… Ojiro… Todoroki… Dad… and Shinso."
"That extra who you had to snap your finger to get out of his mind control?"
"Fiver requires a special emotional trigger to work… and Due to Shinso's quirk having a bad rapsheet due to how it works, and possibly Shinso's isolation and ostracization… He's got rage to spare. Fiver can't go to you due to your quirk being your outlet for your anger… He told me so, though he did say that if it weren't for your quirk, you would have been his first choice." Izuku says. Unbeknownst to them, in the next stall over, right behind Izuku, a certain someone is listening in.
"I see… Well, at least he can see potential when it's right in front of him…" Katsuki says, sipping his drink. "So Fiver you said it reacts to anger… Do you think it will work with Brainwasher?"
"I think so… I was also asked by him to see if Aizawa-sensei would take him on as an apprentice after he'd gotten the hang of Fiver…" Izuku says, "As it acts nearly identically to sensei's capture scarves."
"Ha, Fiver and Brainwashing, now that's a quirk combination that I don't want to go against. Though if used to help capture villains, it would certainly help mitigate the scariness of Brainwashing." Katsuki says.
"Oh?" The two boys both freeze. "And what is this quirk combination you're talking about?" they turn to see two girls looking at them.
"Ashido, Hagakure!"
"What are you doing here, Alien Queen?" Katsuki asks.
"Ooo! I like that!" Ashido says, "Well we couldn't help but listen in. So Midori, is there something wrong with your quirk?"
"Is it true that your own Quirk is killing you and that you have to split it up amongst a handful of people to save yourself?"
"Ah, eh, uhm!" Izuku says getting nervous.
"Yes it is, but he's already decided on who deserves the pieces of his quirk." Katsuki says.
"Oh man…" Mina says, "Oh well, who did you decide?"
"W-Well…" Izuku says, "One of them is Shinso, and that's what I was trying to talk to him about earlier, but that plan failed…" Izuku looks down.
"Oh! So that's what that was about? What about the quirk he already has, it's kind of scary isn't it?"
"It's true that it is scary, but think about all the good things you can do with it! For instance, you can interrogate a criminal without having to waste time and resources trying to get information out them. You can also stop riots peacefully, no need for riot control fire hoses or sound cannons! There is also the fact that you can quickly and safely evacuate civilians by using Brainwashing to move them to safer areas without any children or elderly getting trampled. Heck you could even arrest villains without much of a struggle either!"
"Wow now that is amazing! Shinso has such a powerful quirk!" Hagakure says
"Yeah, only problem is people think it's evil due to how it's executed!" Mina says, "Though if his hero costume consisted of a military uniform, then he would certainly put people more at ease. I mean a fashion statement like that with that kind of quirk would certain make people respect him more!"
"Oh?" Katsuki says, "A military uniform, huh? I think then Commander would be a good hero name for that guy!"
"Commander, now that's a really good name?" Izuku says, smiling. Behind Izuku, in the other stall, the one listening clenches his chopsticks so hard they break, but not from anger… Well maybe a little bit because it started out like teasing, but now… He's trying to deny it, but happiness is filling him, somebody actually thinks his quirk can be heroic… That he can be a hero… And even came up with a cool hero name for him. He sheds a single tear before scoffing with a smile on his face.
'Damn heroes…' Is all he thinks, smiling.
"So what kind of Quirk were you going to give Shinso?"
"That's kind of a surprise that I want Shinso to be the first to discover, but I guess that will have to wait until later, as he doesn't seem to want to talk to me after that." Izuku says, "and I didn't do him any favors by using said quirk to snap me out of his brainwashing… Oh well maybe if we get paired up during Heroics Class I'll apologize and see if he wants it. If not, I'll wait a few days till things settle down a bit and talk with him then."
"Sounds like a plan!" Mina says, "So who are the others you have your eye on for the other quirks you have to give away?"
"Let's see, there is Ojiro-san, Kirishima-san, Todoroki-san, once he's willing to talk… My dad already volunteered for one of them so he has it… Then there is Occhan…"
"Occhan?" Mina and Toru ask.
"Oops, I mean Uraraka-san!"
"Oh so you call her Occhan, huh?" Mina asks.
"Uh!" Izuku turns bright red.
"You must be in love with her!" Toru says.
"N-No! I barely know her right now, so I can't say anything of the sort…" Izuku says, "But… I can't deny that she is really nice, pretty, and sweet… If I were to have a wife someday, someone like her would be my choice!"
"So it is love!" Mina says, but then Izuku's scleras turn black as his face turns blood red, and… He's gone! "Whoa! Where'd he go?"
"He used his quirk to stop time in order to escape from yo-" There is a crash, and everyone goes to investigate it, only to find Izuku on the ground, unintentionally pinning Ochako underneath him, the girl blushing bright red as she looks into Izuku's eyes.
"O-Occhan!" Izuku says, turning bright red. Ochako is also blushing as well, but unbeknownst to them, Izuku accidentally bit his lip and a drop of blood pulls on the soft tender flesh.
In the Time Stream
Raiden opens his eyes as his scleras turn black and his eyes glow auburn, "The time has come…"
In Reality
The drop falls from Izuku's lips, Raiden's reflection in it as it falls into the girl's mouth, the young woman too busy staring into Izuku's eyes to notice the blood falling into her mouth. When it passes her teeth and hits the back of her throat, the blood vaporizes and is inhaled by the young woman, electricity sparking from her mouth, tingling her lips as Ochako blushes even deeper red. The tingling sensation spreads through her body and she pushes Deku off her, running with embarrassment. Once she is safely away from the dining hall she places two fingers on her lips as her blush turns deeper red. 'Deku took my first kiss!'
"No he didn't…" A voice echoes in Ochako's mind as she turns to see a man dressed in some sort of uniform, staring at her with glowing auburn eyes. "Hello Uraraka Ochako… My descendant…" The next thing Ochako does is quite obviously something anyone would do in this situation… She Faints...
MINETA'S MINISODES
Episode 2: The Perv Unleashed
Mineta walks to Midnight Sensei's Classroom, having been invited there by the Pro Hero as she had already gotten his new outfit decided. "Oh Mineta!" Midnight says, "Right on time, i see! Well you can be happy, I got your hero costume decided!"
"Really? Awesome, Sensei!" Mineta says, "What about the training?" Mineta asks.
"We will worry about that once you try on the new hero suit!" She shows him an area for him to get changed, "Use this spot to change into your Hero Costume!" She passes him a case, and Mineta slips inside, Midnight going to her desk to set up the training exercise for the day. Mineta, wondering what is in the case, opens it up to find there is actually a dark purple Zoot Suit, perfectly fitted to his size, but more than that, there is a little booklet inside that reveals the basic details of the suit. Interwoven into the suit's fabric is a Spiderweb body armor, made from the silk of Darwin's Bark Orbweaver, which, when properly woven into body armor, is 80x Stronger than Kevlar, but also very flexible and highly elastic, meaning it can take a lickin and keep on tickin. More than that, the suit comes with a fedora that sports a feather in it, in which the details reveal the feather is actually a Harpy Eagle's feather, and the shoes, which have been fitted to Mineta, are not only stylish, but have been reinforced to deal painful kicks should Mineta need to. Aside from this, the materials used in Mineta's suit were created to act as supplements to Mineta's Quirk, which, though related to his hair, is actually much better than he though it was.
From the notes left behind after someone from SVU managed to swipe one of Mineta's Balls for testing, found the quirk is much more useful than it first appears, in which, when tested against some of Mineta's DNA, the balls actually are highly reactive and are able to repulse Mineta's DNA as if it were a magnet. 'I already know this…' However, the next line that Mineta sees is what shocks him, Mineta's Balls are sticky for a reason, when studied under a microscope, Mineta's Pop-Off Quirk is revealed to be a form of Tactile Magnetokinesis, meaning that Mineta's balls are electromagnetic in nature, and feed off his natural electrical impulses in order to obtain a magnetic charge. The reason why they have a soft, almost liquifying property, is actually Ferrofluid, a highly magnetic fluid, in which Mineta's is made of a naturally forming variant in his body made up of the excess iron from his diet and his own sweat. When Mineta's quirk makes these balls on his head, they maintain attached to Mineta in order to obtain their magnetic charge from his natural electrical impulses, which, surprisingly, or not, is temporarily boosted after he performs a perverted act, for some reason.
What's more, Mineta's body is able to change it's magnetic polarity in order to be able to use the Ferrofluid Balls that he creates. Now the balls themselves work by parasitizing their target's electrical impulses or the faint electromagnetic field naturally present in any thing, causing them to stick to whatever they attach to and whatever else attaches to the balls. Mineta is also capable of manipulating the magnetic properties of these balls to attract or repulse each other as he sees fit, if he learns to refine his control. Mineta's hero costume was designed to exploit this magnetic field that Mineta naturally produces, and then use his Quirk to exploit it. Finally, Mineta, if he tried, could manipulate the size of the balls themselves by condensing the particles of iron into a smaller ball, allowing him to hide them as he sees fit.
In conclusion, Mineta's Quirk is an amazing Capture and Control style of Quirk, but also has a lot of utility outside of that. The writer even speculates that if he watched how Gran Torino fights, then he could imitate that style of combat using Pop-Off, though the writer says the name of the quirk should be changed to something cooler, as it is an extremely cool quirk, one that the maker was honored to make a costume around, and actually amplify it's abilities. The Writer even gives her name to Mineta, and an address to send letters to: Melissa Shields, I-Island, and with it, is a picture of her… In something rather provocative (use your imagination on this one). Mineta tries to keep his nosebleed under control, as he doesn't want to stain the gift such a beautiful woman had sent him, but once he does, he calms down and thanks the beautiful woman for her gift silently, and as he puts on the suit, he smiles as he thinks he looks rather dashing. However, aside from the suit Mineta actually finds something amazing, it appears to be a type of gun, in which the instructions reveal it is modeled after a sawn off shotgun, named the Buttshot.
The weapon is designed to be like that of a Sawed-Off Double Barrel Shotgun, with both a shortened barrel and stock, however it looks more high-tech than a usual shotgun should. The instructions for the gun explain that Mineta's weapon is actually designed to use his quirk's balls as ammo, as it is designed to be Mineta's answer for his lack of offensive options. The gun works by having Mineta load his balls into a special chamber in the gun itself, which reshapes the sticky balls into slugs as they are slid in. Once the barrel has been cocked, a special mechanism absorbs hydrogen and helium in the air, enough to cause an explosion in the barre, one that launches the slugs out. When the slugs hit a target, it's like someone is getting hit with a rubber bullet, but more than that, the slugs turn into a mess of Ferrofluid that spreads over a target, pinning them to the floor or walls, depending on which they hit. The ferrofluid then parasitizes their electrical impulses and the world's magnetic field in order to keep the perpetrator in place. However, the gun as to be cleaned after every job, as the ferrofluid will clog up the barrels. Luckily, Mineta's naturally produced Ferrofluid was not only easy to clean with a specialized bottle brush and soapy water, but it dissolved completely, with the iron that was left behind turning into high quality iron sand, which Melissa informed Mineta of a few buyers whom she told and would love to get their hands on it for a good price.
The purple boy walks out of the changing room that was provided for him and Midnight is just gushing at Mineta's appearance, "Oh my goodness, you look so good in that hero costume! Oh! Just one more thing!" She then brings out a pair of sunglasses in Mineta's size, very stylish and they match his costume's look very well, in which the boy smiles. "Now I want to know what you want to call yourself as a Hero, this will give you a leg up over everyone."
"How about the Fresh Picked Hero: Grape Juice?" Mineta asks.
"No that's too flashy…"
"Huh?" Mineta asks.
"As an SVU hero, your job is to get in, save the victim, catch the villain, and get out. You can't have a flashy hero name like that, however, I think i might have a suggestion that relates to your original hero name." She then brings out a bottle of wine that has a beautiful purple hue to it "My master, His Purple Highness, was very fond of this wine, as it was the first alcohol he ever tasted, but it also inspired his hero costume after he heard what it was named after…" She looks to Mineta, "I would like for you to take on the name of my master's inspiration and help carry on his legacy." Mineta looks at Midnight, hearing this and then smiles as he looks at the wine. "I want you to become Purple Reign."
"Purple Reign, huh?" Mineta asks, and smiles as he looks at the wine in front of him. "Yeah… I like the sound of that!"
"Then I salute you, Purple Reign!" Midnight says, smiling at her apprentice. "Now let us begin with the exercise…" She then smirks at him, "So to begin with the basics, the Perv is best described as one's sexual frustration from a lack of… Release… So the exercise I want you to do Mineta is both very easy, and yet extremely difficult, as it will help you tap into the Perv if you can complete it."
"Uh…" Mineta asks.
"You are to avoid performing any form of lewd acts for at least a month… That includes groping, fantasizing, or even looking at a girl with sexual desire." Midnight says, to which Mineta looks at her with his jaw hitting the floor, only to gape in horror, "Which means I'm confiscating this until you've completed the second exercise."
"NOOOO!" Mineta shouts in fury, as purple energy crackles around him. "I CAN'T LAST A MONTH! THATS IMPOSSIBLE!"
"What the…?" Midnight says, seeing the Perv's energy crackle around him so quickly. "Okay, now that's impressive!"
"Huh?" Mineta asks, then looks at him and looks shocked. "What the f-!"
