Author's Note: Helloooooo! How're you guys doing? I'm doing just peachy right now! I know I said I would wait until Friday when I got 15 reviews to post this, but honestly, I had this chapter finished and I honestly can't wait to post this. Plus I have a bit of an announcement to make! Also real quick, I want to give a quick response to a few reviewers here:
ContinueFreak: I'm glad you enjoyed what I had brought forward in that chapter! Also, don't worry, I have big plans for Mineta, the start of which will be happening right here in this chapter! So stay tuned for that!
AnimeFan13579: I never watched Date-A-Live personally, but from what you're describing, Kurumi Tokisaki sounds pretty badass for a female Time Streamer, maybe I'll make an homage to her later? Who knows?
Anyway, today we have the return of Mineta, but instead of putting him directly into the story, I'm actually going to do something pretty funny in this story that will not only give everyone his side-story, but also forge him into a better person in the long run. However, that will be at the end of the chapter today, so please stay tuned till the end.
Now for the big announcement. I know you guys are really enjoying this story, and frankly, I'm enjoying writing it myself… However, I have a feeling I could do it better, so I would like to let you guys know that I'm going to be taking a break from Justice for about a week to rest my brain before I suffer from burnout. However, there is something I want to do cuz I'm loving having Izuku being a Time Streamer, and I want to try putting this AU of Izuku into another version of this same story. I'm struggling between calling it "Injustice", "Justice: Overquartzer", or "Justice: Wish in the Dark", but pretty much I'm going to be pulling a Fullmetal Alchemist/Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood type of scenario, where one story focuses on the original plotline, whilst the other focuses on an AU of sorts within the same world.
In this new version of Justice, I want to have it that Izuku doesn't inherit One For All, and it instead goes to Mirio Togata, not because All Might Promised, but because of something that happens between Izuku and Nighteye, something so traumatic for Izuku that he hates Nighteye for it. But anyway, aside from this, just to piss off Mineta, Izuku gets a harem of all the girls in 1-A for simply being himself and being a nice guy. Also, with One For All out of the picture, I don't have to worry about making Izuku extremely op, so I can add in more abilities to Justice.
(*Update 9/18/2021* Scratch that, I've decided against doing the new version of Justice, at least for now, as I'm having so much fun with this current story, thanks to the alterations I've made to Izuku's quirk! Also I hope you guys are liking what I am doing with Mineta's Minisodes! I am certainly having fun with the little perv, more fun than I thought possible! So as such, Mineta will be making a return to join 1-A at the USJ, but since he is now an apprentice, he won't be part of class 1-A, but I do have a way for him to gain Hero Course Credit! Also, how did you guys like Izuku's new fighting style in the Entrance Exams? I would like to hear your opinions, as we're going to be expanding on it a bit again today!)
Also, speaking of Justice, I'm going to be redoing Izuku's entry in Chapter 1 so that I can have a finalized version of his abilities once I've sorted everything out. This will be for both Justice, and it's AU Counterpart, so everyone be ready for by the time we next see each other, I will have perfected updated Justice's stats for the final time, and I won't be changing it again… Hopefully. Anyway, that is enough out of me, be sure to Follow, Favorite and Review. Remember, if we can get 15 Reviews by Friday, I'll be posting the next chapter that saturday. I mean it this time. If not, I won't be posting for this story again until I get those 15 reviews. Catch ya on the Flipside! SMAAAAAAASH!
Chapter 4:
Ochako's Mind
Ochako finds herself floating in a void of pitch blackness, but she doesn't feel sick, strangely, but more than that, she looks in front of her a see a great black warping sphere with faint white waves coming off it. The Young woman's eyes are fixed on it as she slowly floats towards it. "What is this… It's so beautiful!"
"That is the Gravity's Core…" A voice says to her, one she heard earlier, "It is the source of power for all Gravity Based Quirks…"
"You!" Ochako says, "Who are you, and why are you in my dreams?"
"I'm your future husband…" He says, without a smirk.
"EEEH!?"
"Got ya…" The man says, smirking, "No, in truth, I'm your Ancestor… My name is Gouki Raiden."
"My Ancestor!?" Ochako asks, "But how did I get here, I've never been here before!"
"You have been here before, in your dreams…" Raiden says, "Certain Quirks have Afterlives they enter in their dreams, but they are usually replaced with unrelated dreams until their quirks are strong enough to allow them to see the truth…"
"Then what about earlier, when you were in the school?"
"You were only seeing something known as a Time Shadow, a visible, but intangible, version of myself, constructed out of Chronons. You see, Ochako, I have been dead for nearly 2 centuries, and it was thanks to Izuku Midoriya that I was able to come back."
"Deku?" Ochako asks, then she blushes. "Did his kiss somehow wake you up!?"
"You didn't kiss him, but the blood from when he bit his lip after he crashed into you was the cause, as it was still charged with Chronons trying to escape an interrogation from your classmates." Raiden says, "In doing so, I woke up within you, and now I can help you achieve the true power of your quirk."
"What?" Ochako asks, "How?"
"Well let me start by saying this… There is a great evil out there in the world, one known as All For One, a man with the ability to steal and transfer quirks. I unsuccessfully fought him in the past, but thanks to my battle, I obtained a special power that allows me to amplify my quirk's power to it's maximum potential for a short time…" He then concentrates as the Gravity's Core channels it's light into him, turning his body black as white markings travel across his body. "This is Graviton Core Mode… You've seen something similar, have you not?"
"Ah! Deku's Justice for All Form!" Ochako says.
"Correct, and now, thanks to this, I can pass on my quirk to you…" From the Gravity's Core, something floats out of it and Ochako recognizes it as her Quirk. "This is your Quirk, Zero-Gravity…" He then calls another, "and this is my Quirk, Graviton…" He then concentrates as Graviton breaks down into threads of energy and wrap around Zero-Gravity. "Graviton will now fuse with Zero-Gravity, granting you the abilities I had… My Graviton Quirk, in essence, was Gyrokinesis, the ability to manipulate gravity to my will. It is an extremely powerful Quirk, but due to my shortcomings and how I was afraid of it's power driving me mad, I never mastered it beyond the basics… However, with your Zero-Gravity, I see in you the potential to take it to levels I never thought possible…" Ochako looks as Graviton implemented itself into her quirk.
"With Graviton, you will be able to manipulate Gravity beyond simply what you can do with Zero-Gravity…"
"Really?" Ochako asks, to which Raiden nods.
"Like your friend, Izuku, your quirk now has multiple abilities, but I never learned them all, because I was too afraid of going mad with power… However, I do know that Zero-Gravity was one of them, and it seems I will be restoring the other 5 abilities that were lost from your quirk over the generations."
"Thank you, Ancestor!" Ochako says, smiling brightly, "So what were these other abilities?"
"Well your original Quirk, Zero-Gravity, was one of the more powerful and taxing abilities, Gravity Negation, which removed all Gravity from whatever it is I touched. The other 5 powers are Gravity Amplification, which allowed me to paralyze my opponents by increasing their gravitational pull, Gravity Reduction, which allowed me to weaken their gravitational pull to throw them off balance. There was also Attraction, allowing me to use Gravity to draw things to me, Repulsion, which did the exact opposite. Finally there was one that Yoichi had convinced me to try using, Gyrokinetic Flight."
"Flight?" Ochako asks.
"Yes, though I barely got to test it out before I died fighting All For One…" Raiden explains. "However, I can give you the basics of each ability. After that, I'm afraid I can't do more than offer advice or maybe even ideas."
"Anything will help, Ancestor!" Ochako says, hugging the glowing man with a smile, to which Raiden hugs her back with a fond smile.
"Well we can figure it out later, for now, head back to reality and get to class. While you dream tonight, I'll teach you how to use the basics of each ability!"
"Alright, thanks ancestor!" Ochako says, but then finds herself floating into the Gravity Core. As she falls into the core, she screams, but then an emerald light shines from the core, and she hears a voice calling to her.
"Occhan!" Deku's voice fills her head.
"Deku!" Ochako says, allowing the core to drag her into it as the light from within starts getting brighter.
Reality...
When she reaches the core, the light engulfs her, and Ochako sits with a start, but the moment she finds herself fully sitting up, she finds she is kissing Izuku… Whose face is turning beat red and his eyes into whirlpools as he tries to compute what is going on. Ochako blushes as she pulls back, and Recovery girl gives him a light tap on the head to break him out of his stupor.
"A-A-Are you okay, Occhan?" Izuku asks, "I found you lying on the floor in the hallway!"
"I-I'm fine…!" Ochako says, waving her arms around, "I don't know what happened, I just felt so strange and then I fainted."
"Well…" Izuku says, "I think that might have been my fault…" Izuku looks down, "I had bit my lip hard enough to draw blood when I ran into you and some of my Chronon charged blood had probably dripped into your mouth… I'm sorry about that…"
"I-It's okay!" Ochako says, trying to calm down, remembering what her ancestor said. "Were you running from someone?"
"Yeah… Hagakure and Ashido…"
"Oh those two? Why?"
"They started making assumptions and asking a lot of questions I wasn't comfortable with…" Izuku says.
"Well whatever happened to her…" Recovery Girl says, walking to them, "It seems Ochako is fine, all things considered, and while I would like to keep you today from your Heroics class so we can monitor you for anything, I think you're in the clear, Dearie, so go ahead and get to class!" She then offers Ochako a protein bar, "You didn't get a chance to eat, so take this with you, I'll ask Lunchrush to make you something for after you class, and I'll get you a late slip so you can eat and recover!"
"Thank you, Recovery Girl!" Ochako says, greedily eating the bar as they head to class.
"So Ochako…" Izuku says as they walk to class, "Did you experience anything weird while you were unconscious? I don't know what happens if a non-Time Streamer sudden absorbs Chronons, so…"
"It's alright, Deku!" Ochako says, "Really! I actually got to meet my ancestor in my dreams thanks to you, and since he's going to stick around for a while, he said he's going to help me make my Quirk stronger!"
"Really?" Izuku ask, "Well that's good!" Izuku says, sighing in relief.
The group soon gets to class and when All Might makes himself known, he then does something unexpected, "Alright class, before we begin today's lesson, there is something I need to tell you… But first, i need you to watch me closely." Everyone looks at him, but then he poofs into smoke, which rapidly fades and everyone sees a much scrawnier, but still well toned and muscular, version of All Might in front of him, his costume shrinking to match him. "Hello again, everyone, I'm All Might, your Heroics 101 Teacher."
"Whoa! What the heck!?" Kaminari asks.
"Dude! You're so scrawny compared to your usual self!" Sero says.
"Yes yes, I know, so let me explain myself. My Quirk is a very powerful Quirk known as One For All, it is something of a mix between an Emitter and a Transformation Quirk that not only grants the ability to transform into stronger, more powerful version of themselves, but it also has a special ability unique to itself." All Might explains, "It has the ability to be convert my metabolic energy into kinetic energy, and then unleash it through my enhanced body." All Might explains, "I never went into full detail about my Quirk during my interviews because I didn't want my enemies to find out about it. This much weaker form you all see before you is my true form, however, during a battle that took place 5-6 years ago, a villain I fought managed to damage my quirk, so now I can't activate it willy-nilly as I used to. What's worse is that my condition is getting worse, and my time limit in my hero form is getting shorter and shorter… Eventually, my enemy's quirk will leave me essentialy quirkless…" Everyone looks at All Might in shock, but then he puts on a smile, "However, as of recently that has all changed…" He walks to the front of the class and sits down in meditation, in which he then begins to levitate in front of them.
"Whoa!" Mina says, "You can fly now!?"
"Yes, now a bit of a secret that the public doesn't know is that during my battle with that villain that has damaged my quirk, Young Midoriya used his quirk to save my life, and he also gave me a blood transfusion. However, an unforeseen side-effect of his Chronon Enriched Blood being transferred to me is that it was slowly awakening the quirk of one of my ancestors, one identical but more powerful than my teachers at the time, Nana Shimura, aka Stratogal, and Sorahiko Torino, aka Gran Torino." All Might explains, "The staff knows about my new quirk, but I want you all to promise me you'll keep this a secret, because once my original quirk "dies" I will be needing to take some time to retrain myself to adjust to my new quirk. Which means…" He starts shaking like a rattlesnake's tail, "I have to go ask my teacher, Gran Torino, for some new lessons… So I won't be available for about a week afterwards."
'Just how scary is this guy?' Everyone thinks, scared.
"W-Well, anyway, I am trusting you to keep this secret, can you all do that for me?"
"YES SIR!" All of them confirm, to which All Might buffs up again with a smile and a laugh.
"Good now! For Today's hero lesson, we will be studying your quirks in…" He brings out a card, "...A Combat Simulation!"
"Awesome!" Everyone shouts, to which All Might reveals their costume cases.
"Now suit up, everyone, head to the locker rooms of this training ground and meet me outside once you've changed!" Everyone rushes with their cases to the Locker Room, and soon everyone starts to get changed, but Izuku looks at a little note about his costume.
I contacted the support company and had them made a few changes to the appearance of your costume. The original animal to your helmet wouldn't work well as a hero, so I had it changed to something more recognizable, and heroic. I also took the liberty of having them add silver to the costume to give it more of a warming aesthetic. Aside from that, i made a few additional changes that your father and I paid out of pocket for. I hope you like it, Izuku, and sorry for doing so without telling you.
Mom
Izuku smiles as he looks at his costume, and then examines the helmet, and smiles as it looks like a grasshopper's head, and after thinking about it, it does work better, especially since the horns, in this context, look like the antennae of a grasshopper as well. Quickly changing into his costume, he rushes out to meet with the group, but keeps the helmet off until training begins. Once everyone is out, Ochako walks over to Izuku, shocked. "Deku, you look amazing! You look just like a Showa-Era Kamen Rider with Heisei influences!" Izuku blushes but then notices Ochako's costume, it's skin tight and not only shows off her ample chest, but also her slightly wide hips as well. "My designers made the suit skin tight… I should've been more specific with what I wanted…!"
"I…" Izuku says, gulping, "I think it looks good on you!" Izuku blushes bright red and then Hitoshi Shinso walks over to them.
"Kamen Rider, huh?" Shinso asks, "If I remember correctly, the majority of Kamen Riders had their powers given to them by evil sources, correct?"
"Yeah, that's the main theme of the Riders, the sources are generally evil, but they don't find that out until later. That's why I like them so much. They use evil powers for heroic means." Izuku says.
"I see… So question… Do you think your Quirk is Villainous?"
"In the public eye, yes it is. As most people often associate Time Streaers with criminal organizations, and there are very few heroes who have Time Quirks to prove them wrong. However, a Quirk is a Tool, and it all depends on how one uses it." Izuku explains, "Not unlike your Quirk, Brainwashing, which is one of the most powerful, non-violent Quirks that I have ever seen!"
"I see…" Shinso says, smirking with a sigh of relief. "At least somebody sees it that way…"
"Everyone will come around eventually…!" Izuku says, smiling. "Just keep your chin up and stand tall against adversity, and you'll prove them wrong!"
"Heh… Alright…!"
After this, All Might gives everyone the rundown about how this training sessions is going to go down. Inside each building is a "nuke" that the Heroes have to recover, while the Villains have to defend it, and themselves, from capture. If the Heroes manage to capture the villains or the weapon within the time limit, the Heroes win. However, if the Villains can keep the weapon safe for the entirety of the time limit or capture the heroes, then Villains Win. However, any damage done to the "weapon" will result in both sides losing, as the weapon will "activate" and "kill" both the Heroes and the Villains. "So now we will draw lots to see who is on which team!" To which everyone draws their lots and Izuku is placed on a Villain Team with Hitoshi Shinso, to which he can hear Daigoro Banjo cheering, as it was the perfect opportunity to get to know his quirk's inheritor a bit. Unfortunately, the joyous occasion was cut short when Izuku found him and Hitoshi going against Eijiro Kirishim and Mashirao Ojiro as their hero team. That is when Shikage and Fujin come to the forefront, and Izuku can hear their voices in his head. Since Izuku and Hitoshi are going first, they have to head inside and prepare themselves.
"Great… Just Great, the three people I need to talk to next and I'm already in the same simulation as them. I need to think of something fast or we'll-" Izuku is mumbling up a storm.
"Midoriya!" Shinso says, getting his attention.
"Oh So-"
"Calm down, Midoriya…" Shinso says, using his quirk on Izuku. "Now I want you to explain to me what is going on and why you're freaking out so much."
"I am dying…" Izuku says, his eyes blank but Izuku can hear and see what he is doing, but he can't control them. "My Quirk has too many quirks piled into it, and my body is dying because of it… If I don't pass six of the quirks that are already in my body, I will die by the end of the year."
"Good, now… I overheard you talking earlier about something called Fiver… What kind of Quirk is it?"
"Blackwhip… Emitter Type… Codename Fiver… By channeling and guiding one's rage, black tendrils of energy will react according to the anger and the thoughts of it's user. The angrier the user becomes, the stronger the quirk becomes, but too much anger, or loss of control of one's anger will cause the Quirk to go on a rampage…" Izuku says, "I was intending to pass it on to you as I had guessed Brainwashing had given you, for the lack of a better term, a traumatic and lonely life growing up."
"I see…" Shinso says, releasing his quirk on Izuku. "That's all I wanted to know… And Midoriya?"
"Huh?" Izuku asks, hoping Shinso doesn't activate his quirk again.
"Thank you…" Shinso gives him a weak but genuine smile, to which Izuku calms down and siles back. "So do you have a plan?"
"Well first let's talk about your Quirk… As I can see you only need somebody to respond to something you say, right?" Izuku asks.
"Yes, however, it's not easy to use over large crowds…" He then touches his mask, "My Quirk is useless if used with items like a microphone or a megaphone, which scramble my voice as it goes through by turning it into electrical signals, making my quirk useless at a range. That is why I had this mask, the Artificial Vocal Cords, or AVC, made… It not only allows me to change my voice with the shifting of a few plates, but the resonating chambers that line the mask allow me to amplify the volume of my voice without scrambling my voice." He then looks at the rest of his costume, "The rest of my costume is pretty much just basic defenses for the time being, since I didn't have much time to create my hero costume, and I focused a bit too much of my research into trying to finding a way to strengthen my quirk without much effort."
"Hmmm… Interesti- OH MY GOD!" Izuku says, "You said your voice gets scrambled into electronic signals when you use a megaphone right? Well I just thought maybe your Quirk could do the same thing to robotic creatures when using a Megaphone!" Shinso looks at Izuku and then remembers something from when he was a little boy. An automatic toy he played with as a kid, he used a toy microphone that did make his voice scramble, but when he tried using it on the auto toy, it acted in the same way his quirk would work on anyone.
"I… Am Such… A fucking… MORON!" Shinso says, kneeling down, "I could've passed the Practical Exam if I had just brought a microphone and turned the robots against each other! They would have noticed I had taken control of the robots and it would've gotten a ton of points in the process!"
"Hey, Shinso, it's okay! Besides, now we know something useful at least!"
"Yeah…" Shinso says, tears of frustration flowing down his cheek. "Well, you can't help what you can't help…" Shinso, "So that's pretty much my quirk… Do you have a plan?"
"Yes… A plan i like to call "Climbing Silver"..." Izuku says.
"A Shogi move…" Shinso says, "Aaaah… I see! That could work!"
"Yup…" He then whispers something into Shinso's ear.
"Perfect!" Shinso says, "Ready when you are!"
"STAART!" All Might calls out. Kirishima and Ojiro enter the building quickly, with Kirishima grating his teeth.
"Man, sneaking around is so unmanly…"
"Maybe, but you do know that Midoriya has the ability to control time, so we need to be on high alert." Ojiro says, to which suddenly they feel a familiar displacement and look to Izuku, who walks around the corner as a certain song begins to play.
*Cue "Justice" by Hiroyuki Takami*
"Welcome heroes…" Izuku says, taking his helmet, and snapping it into place… "No… Tail and Hardening…" Izuku looks at them through the visor of his helmet. Izuku looks menacing with his grasshopper, no locust, themed helmet around his head, with a long black biker coat that flows down to his ankles, with dark green and silver flowing through the material, whilst Izuku has a thick metal belt across his waist, which holds his leather pants up, in which his leather boots hold his pant legs inside them, both carrying the dark green and silver their their black colorations. On Izuku's upper body, he has a long sleeve leather shirt with a leather vest over the top of it, in which the coat wraps around both of them. Around Izuku's neck is a green and black, and overh is hands are leather gloves. Aside from this, Izuku has a cane hanging from his waist as if it were a sword, and Izuku's head is covered by a black helmet with green eyes, and dark green and silver markings flowing through it, with two horns that appear to be shaped like All Might's hair, but it also comes equipped with a radio/music player. Finally, the helmet has high tech sensors inside it that take in information from the environment via the Horns, whilst the lower face mask is a respirator, communicator, and a voice amplifier.
The guns draw the attention of the two boys for a second, as the weapons appear to be Mateba Sei Unicas: Dynamic Sportivas, however, they are much more than that. These two autorevolvers have been built from scratch to combine the features of the Sei Unica series with the Smith & Wesson Model 500, providing both the mechanics with greater raw power than before. However, these guns have been heavily reinforced with not just steel, but also titanium, osmium, and chromium, making the weapons stronger and more durable, but also slightly heavier and denser. However, these two guns are also decorated with a pair of animal themes to each of them, in which one of them has the engravings of a lion upon it, whilst the other is engraved with that of an eagle. "I would greet you warmly… But you are not welcome here… Leave now, and I will show you mercy…"
"Heh, cool man, nice way to play the villain, Midoriya!" Kirishima says, "That's so manly!"
"1…" Izuku says.
"Huh?" Kirishima asks.
"2…" Izuku's right leg starts crackling with energy
"Uh oh!" Mashirao says, "Get ready, he's coming at us…" The two of them take their stances, Kirishima activating his quirk.
"3…" Izuku says, taking a crouching stance as if to jump.
"Rider… Kick…" Izuku's voice suddenly appears behind the two, and the two heroes turn around.
"Wha-!?" The boys say, only for their bodies to hold still and Shinso to walk out.
"Well, I'll be damned…" Shinso says, removing his mask. "It really worked!"
"I really sold it, didn't I?" Izuku says, both the boys tying up the heroes quickly before they recover.
"Yes, and I'm impressed." Hitoshi says, "Remind me never to get on your bad side."
*"Justice" Ends*
"THE VILLAINS WIN!" All Might shouts, pride in his voice obvious.
"Huh?" Kirishima asks as he wakes up from the Brainwashing.
"How!?" Mashirao says.
"Simple… I was the bait…" Izuku says, smiling. The group returns to the viewing area, in which the group learns from Momo Yaoyorozu that Izuku was the MVP of this match, as he was the one who took the time to learn about Shinso's quirk, and then exploited the fact that everyone has underestimated Shinso due to his quirk not being meant for direct combat. Furthermore, Izuku was the physically stronger of the two, and both Kirishima and Ojiro got cocky, thinking that if they beat Midoriya, they'd easily be able to take Shinso.
"Couldn't have said it better myself, Young Yaoyorozu! Young Midoriya, Young Shinso, both of you, well done! And to you, Young Kirishima, Young Ojiro, learn from this failure and grow stronger from it." All Might explains, "A Strong Villain will try to beat you in a battle of muscles, smart villains will try to outwit you, as Young Midoriya did. The Villains you have to watch out for are those that are both Strong and Smart, so keep this in mind for the future."
"Yeah, and honestly…" Izuku says, "Had I not been the distraction… Well… Let's just say fighting indoors is where I'm weakest at, so you guys had the advantage over me there… That's kind of the reason why I had to beat you in a battle of wits rather than power."
"Wasn't very manly, but you knew what you were doing, plus you were being mindful of your weaknesses and working with them. That in and of itself is Manly!"
"Thank you, Midoriya-san, I'll take this lesson to heart and try to improve!" Ojiro says, to which Izuku nods. The rest of the matches go as planned, with some wins for the heroes, and others for the villains, in which Izuku smiles as he watches Ochako win her match alongside her partner, Hanta Sero. Everything goes alright, but before Izuku leaves, he makes sure to stop by Recovery Girl, explain to her what is happening with his quirk. After a quick confirmation from Toshinori, Izuku is allowed to draw his blood so that he may pass two of his sub-quirks onto the others. As everyone leaves the building, Izuku rushes over.
"Ojiro, Kirishima, Shinso!" Izuku says, rushing over to them, breathing hard. "I finally found you!"
"Midoriya?" Kirishima asks.
"Whats wrong?" Ojiro asks.
"Could you come here a second?" Izuku asks, the other students already leaving. "Listen, there is something I need to tell you…" he goes on to explain that his own quirk is killing him because it's actually a very rare type of quirk that stockpiles the quirks of those in his family history, and that it's reached Critical Mass, if he doesn't get rid of some of the quirks, he'll end up dying by the end of the year. "I've already been pondering who to give what quirks to, and I think you guys would make good candidates, but I need to see your skills in action first, so I've asked for All Might to act as a referee in a training area nearby. I already know Shinso's good for his quirk, but I still need to see if my instincts about you, Kirishima and Ojiro, are what I'm looking for!"
"So you want to entrust us with some of the quirks from your family after you've tested our mettle? That's so manly!" Kirishima says, "I accept!"
"I'm not sure about this…" Ojiro says, "Are you sure we should be doing this."
"Well it's either I pass on my quirks to you guys and I live, or I keep them and I die…" Izuku says, "And I for one don't want to die after struggling for so long to get here!" This convinces Ojiro, barely, to go ahead with this, so they go to meet with All Might, who has the change into some Gym Uniforms and prepare to battle each other. Izuku takes his stance as he looks at Ojiro and Kirishima, both of them getting ready to duke it out with him.
"Midoriya, for the last time, are you sure you want to do this?"
"Positive!" Izuku says
"Alright then! You have Ten Minutes! Try to defeat Young Midoriya within that time frame!" All Might says, blowing a whistle to signal the start, in which Kirishima and Ojiro charge at Izuku, whose scleras turn black as his pupils glow green. Izuku starts to move quickly as he blocks Ojiro's strikes and dodges Kirishima's attacks. Ojiro looks at Izuku as the greenette blocks his incoming attacks. Despite having mastered Tae Kwon Do, Muay Thai, Drunken Boxing, the Three Styles of Boxing: Swarmer, Slugger, and Outboxer, and even Kick Boxing, Mashirao finds himself struggling to break through Izuku's defenses. Meanwhile, Kirishima, who knows Izuku is merely dodging him due to the fact his quirk turns his body into jagged stone blades, it is a bit frustrating to not be able to hit him.
Izuku, on the other hand, smiles as he observes his opponents, waiting for the opportune moment to aim and fire as he concentrates. One For All flows through his veins, an from his body crackles emerald energy, which flows into his guns, filling the chambers of his guns as he gets a smile on his face. That smile being a tell if Ojiro ever saw one, or Kirishima, and the two decide to attack at once, in which Izuku jumps above them. "What the!?" Eijiro says, looking up.
"Muda Muda Muda Muda! You're going to have to be faster than that!" Izuku says, smiling as he lands nearby, aiming his gun at his head. "Record!" Kirishima and Ojiro looks at Izuku and rush to him, thinking he is about to commit suicide, only for the boy the pull the trigger. Before the very eyes of the two teens, a spectral entity erupts from Izuku's body and it takes on the boy's form. "Now it's a more even match!"
"You just cloned yourself!?" Kirishima asks.
"Yes, that is the power of my Super Move, Record… By sacrificing a second off my "Timer" I can create a disposable clone of myself. However, I value all of my clones for their hard work and sacrifice, so they aren't as disposable as they appear to be." Izuku says, smiling, "Kiiiihihihihi!" Izuku has this look of a madman on his face, "Sorry for letting myself go, but as a side-effect of using my quirk's bullets on myself, I do tend to have bouts of insanity, it only lasts a moment or more!"
"Creepy…" Ojiro says.
"Now… Tail… Hardening… Let's make this a real game…" Izuku says, in which he and his clone rush towards the two, both of them having their pistols out as the Clone takes on Kirishima and Izuku Ojiro.
For Izuku and Ojiro, Izuku is dodging Ojiro's attacks deftly, who begins to notice his own movements are slowing down a slight fraction before they hit Izuku, who quickly moves into position to strike almost the instant he misses. However, thanks to his martial arts training, Ojiro redirects Izuku's aimg and his bullets miss him because of it. Izuku, all the while, is starting to get annoyed, as he realizes that Ojiro is the better fighter in close-quarters combat, and knows he won't get anywhere fast unless he manages to put some distance between them.
The clone is having a much harder time with Kirishima, as it is trying it's best to land a "killing" blow, but every time he tries, the bullets bounce off of Kirishima's Hardening, which the clone is just getting irritated with. Kirishima, on the other hand, is thankful for his quirk having become so tough, and now Midoriya's major ability has been cut off, but he knows that he can't keep this up forever, as he knows even his Hardening has it's limits.
The battle goes on until the last 60 seconds of the match as Izuku, having gotten down to his last 30 seconds, decides to try something crazy… To which, in a moment that Eijiro dodges his 31 second bullet, Izuku aims and fires at his clone. The Clone itself, sensing what is going on, merely leans his head to the side, and allows for the bullet to whiz past it's head, and hit Kirishima straight in the forehead. The moment the bullet hits, Kirishima finds himself frozen. "Kirishima!" Ojiro says, once he notices, but then Izuku has the barrel of his gun against the back of Ojiro's skull, Izuku panting hard as he is almost out of time. "A last resort, huh?"
"Yeah… I'm out of breath and time… This is my last shot for now, so either you attack and I shoot, or you surrender and we both walk away from here, worse for wear…"
"Heh… You really are cool…" Ojiro says, holding up his hands, "I surrender." The match ends with the four boys reuniting as Izuku catches his breath smiling and laughing.
"Man you guys really pushed me to my limit there, I haven't been pushed that hard in a while now!" Izuku says, smiling as he rubs the back of his head.
"Still we lost, and that last attack wasn't very manly at all."
"Sorry, Kirishima, I wanted to win this honorably, but you guys pushed me so hard that I had no choice but to pull a dirty move." Izuku says, "Not very heroic, but if your enemy matches you point for point, you cheat, and hope to god you can save everyone." The group nods, to which Toshinori smiles at his son for having done his best to fight honorably, only to slip up at the last moment.
"So now, I think my assessment is done…" Izuku says, "You guys pass!"
"Huh?" Kirishima asks, breathing hard, "but I thought…"
"You assumed that you had to beat me to get your quirks, when it really wasn't true… I just had to test if you were physically capable of using them, and I'm happy to say i was right!" Izuku says as he takes out three vials of blood. "Drink these, and the Quirks are yours!" Izuku charges them with Temporal Energy to awaken the spirits of his predecessors. Kirishima takes his with a smile and drinks, Shinso takes his, salutes Midoriya, and then drinks. Ojiro is the last to take his, but once he drinks, he feels something, they all do. Thankfully, his father had arranged to take the teens home once what needed to be done had been done.
That Evening…
Hitoshi Shinso...
Shinso finds himself floating in dark and murky waters, in which the young man tries to swim, but he can't move, his feet are stuck to what appear thick mud with stone faces that reach out and grab him, their faces filled with fury as they silently shout at the young man, who struggles to break free, only for a hand to reach into the water. Acting fast, Hitoshi grabs the hand and is yanked out of the water, pulled to the shore by a man, all the while hacking and coughing. "It's okay, easy breaths!"
"Thanks for that…" Shinso says, noticing they are in a place that reeks of fury and malice as the trees around them look like people trying to kill each other, and the rocks and boulders have angry faces carved into them. "Where am I?"
"This is the River Styx, the Afterlife of the Wrathful who have let their fury consume them…" The man says, looking at Shinso, in which the student sees a bald man dressed as a biker.
"Is this due to Midoriya's Blood?"
"Yes, but I underestimated how much rage you had hidden within you, so I had to move fast to keep you from drowning in the river." The man says, "Anyway, I forgot to introduce myself… Banjo Daigoro, nice to meet ya kid!"
"Shinso Hitoshi…" Shinso says. "Hey can I ask you a question?"
"Yea-"
"How the hell am I supposed to lea-"
"Say no more kid, I know why you're here…"
"What? How did you?"
"Your powers don't work here, not unless they are rage related…" Daigoro says, to which he then creates black tendrils from his hand. "So to start with the basics, my Blackwhip is actually a top grade mobility and capture Quirk, one in which it channels one's rage and turns it into pure energy, which then manifests as tendrils that the user can sprout from anywhere on their body, but most easily from their hands. However, before I died, I learned that this Quirk actually has a few other applications to it that I never had time to test out." Shinso learns quickly as Daigoro teaches him.
"It actually has 6 total applications, the first of which is Rage Empowerment, in which the angrier you get, the stronger the Quirk becomes. However, you have to learn anger management in order to properly control it, or else it attacks anything and everything around it. Second is the ability to vampirize your opponents or allies, feeding off their rage to not only heal you, but also give you a temporary boost. The Third application is the exact opposite, you can transfer the energy of your rage through Blackwhip onto others, allowing you heal their wounds, suppress their pain, and even give them a power boost." Daigoro explains, "The Fourth Application is that of energy constructs, though the furthest I ever got was creating a suit of energy armor underneath my costume. The Fifth Application for Blackwhip is a type of sensory ability which allows it to detect nearby sources of rage. The Final Application is that, like a normal whip, it is capable of cutting things the tip of the tendrils is moving fast enough."
"Interesting…" Shinso says as he listens, "So when do we begin?" Daigoro only smiles at this.
Mashirao Ojiro
Energy crackles around Ojiro as he floats within what appears to be a massive storm, and he is floating as the bolts of energy fly everywhere, with thunder being heard following their movements. "Whoa!" Ojiro says looking around.
"It seems you have arrived!" A man says, flying over, looking at Ojiro, "I am Gouki Fujin, a pleasure to meet ya!"
"Ojiro Mashirao! What is this place?"
"This is the Force…"
"The Force?"
"Yeah, but not like that star wars crap, this is the place where all Kinetic Energy comes from and returns… The basis of motion and power… And it is here I am going to pass on the secrets of my Quirk…" He raises his hand and his body starts crackling with energy as it releases steam from his body. "Fa Jin!"
"Fa Jin…?" Ojiro asks, shocked.
"Yes, Fa Jin is a generally passive Quirk that, through which the kinetic energy of your everyday movements are stockpiled, and when you desire to use it, in a moment that you absolutely need a burst of power and speed, Fa Jin will allow you to activate it and your will gain a massive boost in speed and power for a few instances. However, you can only use the power boost incrementally, so you can only perform one empowered action at a time. However, the power and speed from these boosts is amazing when you think about it." Ojiro looks in awe, then gets on his knees.
"I pledge myself to your teachings, Master Fujin!"
"Good, now to begin our first lesson, I need to explain to you the applications of Fa Jin, aside from it's primary ability of Kinetic Accumulation and Capacitor abilities. It's four other abilities are Shock Absorption, Kinetic Charging, Kinetic Shockwaves, and Concussive Force." To which Ojiro nods, and Fujin begins practicing with Ojiro on how to utilize each technique with flawless martial arts.
Eijiro Kirishima
Kirishima wakes up to find himself buried underneath several feet of steel, in which the teenager punches his way out of the trap, and once he escapes, he finds there are all sorts of disasters happening everywhere. "I see you have arrived…" A man says as he walks towards Kirishima, "I am Shinomori Hikage… And Welcome.. To the Danger Zone."
"Danger Zone, how did I get here?" Eijiro asks.
"When you ingested Midoriya Izuku's Blood, his Temporal Energy allowe you to connect to me, the one who wishes to pass on Danger Sense to you."
"Danger Sense?" Kirishima asks, only for a something to strike his mind like that of an itch as he dodges out of the way of an oncoming car being thrown through the air. "What the?"
"That is danger sense, and with your hardening, it will make your spear unearing and your shield unbreakable."
"Unbreakable…" Kirishima says, stunned, to which Hikage takes him to the least chaotic spot and makes a pot of tea for them.
"There are six applications to Danger Sense…" He says as he pours them cups of tea. "The First is it's basic ability Threat Identification, which you just experienced. It's next to abilities, Attack Prediction and Defense Prediction, will allow you to sense their incoming attacks and find openings in your opponents defenses… The Fourth is Blocking Intuition, a technique when, used in conjunction with your Hardening Quirk, you'll be able to block all incoming attacks more precisely, and thus preserve and strengthen Hardening. The Fifth is Counter Intuition, which will allow you to expose the openings your opponents attacks or defenses and then strike at them where it hurts most. Finally, there is Seismice Sense, this one will be your trump card, and your passive ability if you can pull it off."
"Seismic Sense?" Kirishima asks.
"Yes, you see, you may not have noticed, but solid objects are highly sensitive to vibrations in the air and ground… If you can practice keeping your feet bare while hardened at all times, you will be able to increase their sensitivity, allow you to detect threats from beyond Danger Sense's normal range, or even when a quirk blinds you." Hikage says, to which Eijiro drinks his tea, contemplating what he has just been told.
"I will try my hardest to master what you have to teach me! Thank you for putting up with me."
"Good…" Hikage says, sipping his tea.
The next morning…
Izuku is met at the front gates by Ojiro, Kirishima, and Shinso, who look at him. "Hello…" Izuku says, "Are you guys feeling okay?"
"You knew there were ghosts in those quirks, didn't you?"
"I…" Izuku starts, then nods.
"And these powers… They aren't temporary are they?" Ojiro asks.
"No… They're permanent… I can't take them back or else I really will die from Quirk Overload." Izuku explains.
"And the Ghosts that accompany them?" Kirishima asks.
"I don't know, how long they stay is up to them, but I am sure they will help you figure out how to properly use your new quirks." Izuku explains.
"Then that is all we needed to know… So who are the last two? I'm sure Uraraka got one as well, even if it was by accident…"
"My father already has one, so counting you 3 that is 5… So the last one I need to hand over is to Todoroki, but after what I saw yesterday, I can't trust him with it yet." The guys nod as they head inside, to which Izuku smiles as he breathes a sigh of relief, hopefully things will go smoothly for a few days at least.
MINETA'S MINISODES
Episode 3: The Perv Strikes Back
Checking around a corner with his Buttshot in hand, checking around each corner as he carefully aims his gun with two slugs loaded inside. Mineta is in one of the training rooms, assisted by Cementoss and Principal Nezu, who had found his duties for the day rather light, so he has decide to help out with Mineta's training, seeing great potential in the boy. Despite being put through the ringer, when under pressure, Mineta proves to be a pretty good hero, it's only just before and just after a stressful situation does Mineta's self-doubt and lack of confidence show, and it seems the boy was a real pro at acting under pressure, especially if there was a light at the end of a tunnel.
Nezu watches from his viewing room as Mineta turns a corner, checking carefully with his gun pointed in front of him. The boy appears to be very tense, and is waiting for the moment something jumps out at him. Mineta, from his point of view, is trying to keep calm as he sweats, knowing that he needs to get through the maze that Cementoss made, all without being caught by Midnight, who was, in his opinion, taking her sweet-ass time trying to find him, and it hasn't even been a day since he managed to unlock the power of the Perv...
Hours Earlier
Mineta looks at himself as he is crackling with purple energy, and Midnight looks at him with wide eyes and an equally wide smile. "You progressed faster than i thought you would!"
"What is this?" Mineta asks, confused. "Why do I feel so… So…? Relaxed?"
"That is the power of the Perv, Mineta, by concentrating all of your Sexual Frustration and not acting on it, you become capable of channeling it's energies. Now the most basic technique that the Perv can provide is Pain and Pleasure Inducement." Midnight explains. "For example…" She takes her normal, non-combat whip, and smacks Mineta across the face with it, and the boy looks like he had just "relieved" himself of his sexual frustration. "You felt that? The Pleasure?"
"Y-Yeah!" Mineta says, recovering.
"Perv Energy can induce both pain and pleasure upon it's target, depending on the intentions of the user. Those who seek to disable or do harm induce pain on others, the opposite is true for Pleasure. We Perv Knights actually infuse this emotional energy into our weapons and strike out at our targets with them, amplifying the feeling we wish to induce on our enemies." Midnight explains, "However, doing so is difficult, but it can be done, however, I will teach you how to do this afterschool today. I have to call in a few favors some of the staff owes me to teach you."
Now…
Mineta looks out at the maze as he tries to figure out how to get to the end of the maze, where he is supposed to learn how to use his new abilities, but then he hears the clacking of high heeled boots. Turning around, Purple Reign sees a familiar pink cloud of gas making it's way towards him. 'Uh oh!' Mineta thinks and begins running, trying to figure out a plan to get past her. 'Think Mineta, think!' He tries to come up with a plan. Unable to think of anything, Purple Reign turns around and fires his two slugs, in which Midnight dodges them.
"Woo! Nice shot, but not good enough!" Midnight says, swinging her wipe as it becomes coated in pink energy. "You gotta try harder than that!"
'She's infusing her Perv Energy into that Whip, if I get hit with it, it's either pleasure town or pain city! I can't tell which!' Mineta thinks, running as fast as he can as he looks to his teacher. 'What do I do, what do i do!?' He then trips as he barely dodges a whip strike, only to turn around and see Midnight nearly on him.
"Keep running, cuz you know… When somebody runs away in fear… My masochistic side comes out… And I get so turned on…" Midnight says, her eyes looking like that of a predator.
'I know I want to say something about her look right now, but…' Mineta thinks, opening his Buttshot, finding no slugs in it, and he internally screams, trying to figure out what to do. Only for his body to crackle, his eyes looking at the chamber as he sees the energy flowing into the opened chambers. Trusting his instincts, Mineta cocks the hammers and fires, with Midnight reacting quickly and dodging the two shots that went her way,
'Perv bolts!' Midnight thinks, only to find something touching her, and sees that Mineta's balls fly all over the arena and on her suit and whip. 'Oh no!'
"Take this!" Mineta says, jumping off his balls and flying too her with a shot aimed for her, "Pleasure Palace, Fermentation!" He fires his shot, hitting her directly, and Purple Reign rushes off as fast as he can before he breathes in her fragrance. All that is left of this chapter is Midnight struggling to keep her voice down, but it fails, with the sound of the woman being "relieved" as she moans loudly in pleasure.
'That boy is a wonderful student…' Midnight thinks as she faints
