What if Harry was destined to die, a pig raised for slaughter? How would Harry react, and most importantly, would he be able to live up to the prophecy? Rated T for mild swearing, depression, and heavy angst. Please reserve judgement, I suck at summaries.

The Prophecy

The one with the power to defeat the Dark Lord approaches… born to those who have thrice defied him... born as the seventh month dies, the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal… but he will have a power the Dark Lord knows not… and both must die at the hands of the other... for neither can live, neither can survive…

A/N: Sorry this is short, I am still in the process of outlining the plot and with school going on, I don't have a lot of time. The next chapter might be up by the end of the month, it could've come quicker but my school is loading me with work and I'm also just lazy.
